BUT what do you think strollonso does on valentines dayyyy? Like does Nando get a bazillion flower for Lance and choco, and what does Lance do for Nando? Id love to hear your thoughts!!! ❤

Omg, this will be insanely fluffy !!!

Okay, so we all know Fernando is a horrible cook, but there's one food he can make without blowing up the kitchen and it's his mother's recipe for fabada asturiana (a trad. bean stew with meat/sausage). He wakes up early (careful not to wake his princesa) in the morning to make it and then serves it for breakfast right into their bed... He would also have some little gift, like a bracelet or a necklace for him <3 ...or the keys to one of his cars. Lance loves his cars.

Lance always buys Fernando a bouquet of flowers for each year they've been together, so now (in my pookie au) it would be the start to a sixth (SIX YEARS, MY GOD 😭). So, six beautiful bundles of roses on their kitchen counter each with a different love letter on them. Oh, the way Nando would BAWL HIS EYES OUT reading them 😭❤️ He would keep one rose each time and dry it, having them on display as a reminder of how much he loves him...

They would spend the whole day at home, enjoying each other's company. Not thinking about F1, or traveling or anything else, but them. Good food, good red wine and some good... you know :) Nando would treat Lance like an angel the whole day and it'd be like they had just fallen in love all over again...

Lance/Fernando 20,…kissing a scar

Ever since Lance broke his wrists, Fernando has been treating him differently. Not in a bad way, just different.

There was something unreadable in his eyes when he saw Lance, immobile in the hospital bed, so pale it looked he was fading away into the white sheets, a reminder of the fragility of human nature.

The bones healed but the scars remain.

It’s not a huge change, but enough for Lance to notice. It’s the way Fernando always keeps extra bandages in his bag, how he always let Lance walk on the inner side of the sidewalk, away from the cars, how he always miscounts the number of reps Lance should be lifting so he ends up doing a bit less.

Lance would be lying if he said he wasn’t a little charmed. For all his ruggedness, and untouchable persona, who knew the older man could be such a softie?

He tells Fernando this, after the other insisted on tying Lance’s shoelace for him so he didn’t have to bend over. Normally, Lance would laugh, but considering they’re in the middle of the paddock, he’s glad he’s wearing sunglasses to hide the blush creeping up his cheeks.

“Fernando!” He half hisses half whispers. “What are you doing?”

The older just hums and has the gull to undo Lance’s other shoelace and retie it while he’s down there.

Lance tries teasing him, “everyone’s gonna think you’ve gone soft, old man”.

All he receives is an unreadable smile as Fernando gets up.

“Let them talk”. Then continues to saunter on, as if there wouldn’t be hundreds of photographs published by the end of the hour.

Lance has since given up on trying to understand the older man. Whatever, maybe he’s having a second midlife crisis.

Even now, as they’re cuddled up in bed, Lance blissfully half asleep on Fernando’s chest, the other man stroking his hair before moving to play with Lance’s hands.

They’re so different from his own. Pale and smooth, contrasting with tan and callused. He knows those hands have been through a lot, unlike his own. He’s know just how strong they are too, feeling himself shiver at the thought.

Lance observes as fingers skirt around his wrist, just barely, before a thumb is smoothing over the surgical wound.

The unreadable expression is back and he feels like he should say something.

“Hey you know I’m all better right? It’s just a scar”.

His words fall on deaf ears as Fernando places a delicate kiss on either side of his wrists, worshipping them, before resting his chin on Lance’s head.

“That doesn’t make you any less precious”.

okay. like for lance i have So Many Thoughts but like. No Words cause like. he’s a scrunkly. my little guy. he’s bewitched my mind, soul, and hole, yknow?

BUT i have many thoughts about the grid power couple. i am always down for the sweet stuff but. these guys are the peak of crazy4crazy. delusional. fernando’s possessive streak just enabling lance’s need for validation and his daddy kink. think like. the joker and harley quinn but like. less murder and more war crimes on track. they are obsessed with each other. they would be like the couple making it constantly and is Often made fun of for it. think like first couple to die in a slasher flick cause they’re too busy sucking tounge

im also in love with the implications of esteban being involved. like your ex-teammate that terrorized you for two years is now getting dicked down by your best friend. like that dynamic makes my brain tingle :)))

8. What happens if one of them gets sick?

If Lance gets sick, Fernando will need updates of his condition every 30 minutes. When Lance broke his wrists, Fernando was in literal shambles staying at his bedside at the hospital even though he wasn't in any immediate danger. Fernando would consult ancient spirits, witchdoctors and shamans to get Lance back in shape as soon as possible 💯

If Nando gets sick, Lance will nurture him back to strength with homemade chicken soup and hot drinks 🥰 Watching movies or reading books in bed together to keep him company <3

22. What reminds each of their partner?

For Fernando, he often fiddles with their wedding rings on his finger when he's absentmindedly thinking about Lance.

There's this very specific little note in Fernando's aftershave that Lance sometimes picks up in the most random places and it reminds him of Nando. Also, whenever he sees a shiba inu or a golden retriever, he must immediately text about it to Nando saying "I SAW NYLA/RÓSA'S SIBLING" 😭

60. Who pulls the other closer when they’re sleeping?

Lance assumes the position of the big spoon most of the time because Fernando clicks into place just like a puzzle piece. He also likes how soft Nando's hair is and how he smells so nice....... 🫶

If they're not spooning, Nando will reach his arm across Lance's chest or stomach to keep him close 🥰
