Loving this pic drawn for me by @blusthings of my DC Comics OC Marcia Constantine on the right and Linda Lee/Red Daughter on the left. Marcia is the niece of John Constantine, a scientist and supporting character in my fic "A New Team (Done Right)". Which is an MCU crossover with DC (including Supergirl and Arrowverse, along with other DC continuities all on the same earth)

In the fic, Red Daughter/Linda survived the ordeal with Lex and started a new life, with friends and family and found love with Marcia. NOTE: The story is not friendly to Steve Rogers or Wanda Maximoff. And I not too long ago posted a one shot focusing on them, linked below. “So…what do you think?” Kara plants her chin in her hands and chews at her lip.

“It’s beautiful,” Lena murmurs, running her fingers over the writing. “What does it mean?”

How can Kara put it into words? How does one translate the legacy of a broken family into understandable terms? It’s almost impossible for Kara to find the words to encapsulate the pride and grief she has for her people. There aren’t human words that can convey the heartbreak she still hasn’t healed from. Heartbreak that may never heal.

Kara swallows roughly. “In simple terms, El Mayarah.” Her hands itch to follow the same path Lena’s did, but she might burst into tears if she does. “There aren’t any human words that are…adequate enough to do them justice, but it means something along the lines of: So haunt me so that I may always remember who I am. Make a home of my chest so I may carry all of you with me forever. We will always be stronger together.”

Summary:

Is Kara Zor-El a wimp when it comes to needles? Yes. Does she really want to get tattoos? Also yes.

The only problem is, the only person who could possibly do one for her is Lena. Her best friend. Who she’s unequivocally in love with. She really knows how to pick them, doesn’t she?

I think this is the moment Kara realized Lena was it for her, that she finally found her perfect partner at a game night, she found a person whom she can be just Kara and that will always be there to support her even though they don´t always see eye to eye. Maybe she doubted it for a while after everything that happened between them (the fights, the betrayals) but at that moment, after Lena said to her "El mayarah" Kara realized that Lena will always be by her side.

It had been a long time since Clark had been woken by that little patter of scared feet heading towards the bedroom door. The twins had outgrown that phase several years ago, each convinced they were far too big and strong for such scary things. Despite Yoyo being not much younger than them, his life had been far different -- it only made sense that his nightmares would linger.

"Come on," Clark said softly, trying not to wake Lois on the other side of the bed. He gently lifted the covers, inviting Yoyo to get under with him -- it got chilly in the old house at night.
