Here is a little sneak peak of my comic wip, Ship of Two Captains!

I've been working hard on it the past few months, as I'm still planning to release it on Webtoon next year! :D

I haven't been posting much over the past few months due to this project. It's been taking up a lot of my time - as expected from a comic - but everything is steadily coming together. XD

Ship of Two Captains: Launch Team

Hey guys! I’ve just finished the Prologue for SoTC and I figured it was the perfect time to start a launch team! :D I’m hoping to put up the first 3 episodes as well as the Prologue on Webtoon sometime in early 2023, and I wanted a way to show you guys my progress as I work on it (after signing up, it will be via email, mostly)!

I did a lighting study with Eaton (and gave myself trouble with literally every aspect of it. The pose, the lineart, the colouring, my goodness ... X'D Anywee, it's done now.) My favourite part is the dusty light in the background, hehe! >=3

Wee, some sketches! (Part 1)

Mostly just of Blythe and Eaton annoying each other and everyone around them, now that I look at it ... X'D I'll post more of Jin and Garin in the next one, since I've been drawing them, too.

1. If you can't physically hurt your rival since you're working together, providing them with minor annoyances works, too

2. Or providing them with actual annoyances

3. Garin is tired ... in many ways

4. I wanted to flesh out the differences in the eyes. It's Eaton, Blythe, Jin, and Garin's.

I think I know what my characters look like until I try to draw a reference sheet for them and then ... nada. IB

This was a challenge to do, but I feel like I understand how to draw Eaton Clairemont a fair bit better now. XD It was surprisingly a really good exercise! I’m doing a reference sheet for Blythe, too, so I’ll post that next week.

I was going to do one of these for each of the crew, but ... nah. Nah man. Nope. X’D That was a lot of work. Until I get closer to actually DRAWING the comic as opposed to WRITING it, reference sheets of just these 2 will do for now!

I also tried used some character models for the different standing poses, too, so that was also good practice! And the weapons are really fun to draw!! I’ve been trying to decide on Eaton’s sword and ring designs for a while, so it’s nice to finally have them decided. XD

I wanted to try more webcomic test runs. :D I'm still far too slow, but I do like the way this came out, regardless. It's fun to see my scrambled story thoughts at least a little more in reality, outside of my head, even if things aren't exactly like I pictured. XD

Oh, I also forgot I hadn't said these guys' names yet. >.< In order of appearance, their names are Blythe Fawke and Eaton Clairemont.
