Chicken Tikka Biryani ( 6 Easy Steps + Photos + Vieo )
Biryani is considered to be the most famous recipe in India and Pakistan. Biryani is also not just one but there are different types of Biryani like Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, Fish Biryani, Sindhi Biryani, Vegetable Biryani etc. Similarly, Chicken Tikka Biryani is also a type of Biryani which is very much liked by the people.

Chicken Tikka Biryani Ingredients:
Ingredients for Marinating:
200 grams boneless chicken 3 tbsp curd 1 tsp garlic paste 1 tsp ginger paste 1 tsp garam masala powder 1 tsp red chili powder 1/4 tsp red food coloring salt to taste
Ingredients for Rice:
1 cup basmati rice (washed and soaked for 2 hours) 1 bay leaf 1 large cardamom 1 small cardamom 2 cloves 1" cinnamon stick 1/2 tsp black cumin 1 chopped fried onion salt to taste
Ingredients for Biryani:
1 finely chopped onion 2 tbsp curd 1/2 tsp garam masala powder 1 tsp chopped green chili 1 tsp red chili pickle masala 1/3 tsp caraway powder 1/3 tsp nutmeg powder 1/4 tsp red food coloring 1 bay leaf 1 large cardamom 1 small cardamom 2 cloves 1 cinnamon stick 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves 2 tsp dried mint leaves oil 1/2 cup
Homemade Chicken Tikka Biryani 6 Easy Steps:
Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly and put all the marinated ingredients in it and keep it in the fridge for 6 hours or overnight.
Boil water in a vessel by adding bay leaves, black cardamom, small cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, black cumin and salt. When the water starts boiling, put the soaked rice in it and cook on medium heat. When the rice is 90% cooked, take it off the flame and filter it with a strainer or cloth and pour cold water over it.
Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaves, black cardamom, small cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and onions and fry till they turn pink. Now put the marinated chicken in it and fry it.
Mix curd, caraway powder, nutmeg powder, garam masala powder, chopped green chillies, red chilli pickle masala, red food coloring in a bowl and add this mixture to the chicken and cook it for some time and remove it from the flame.
Now spread coriander leaves, mint leaves and fried onions on the chicken tikka and put a layer of rice on it. Now spread the remaining coriander leaves, fried onions and mint leaves on top, cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes and remove from the flame.
Serve it hot with raita or red chutney.
