If you want to extend your lifespan, there are numerous things you can do. Some are easy and fun, while others require additional effort.
Studies have demonstrated that having regular sexual encounters increases your odds of living longer - so why not give it a go?
Exercise regularly
Regular exercise offers many health advantages, from decreasing disease risks to improving mood and decreasing stress, and even increasing energy levels.
New research shows that normal-weight individuals who engage in moderate physical activity - such as brisk walking - for 150 minutes each week on average live about seven and a half years longer than obese people who do no activity whatsoever (the study spanned 30 years and involved over 116,000 adults).
Researchers conducted analysis on data from the Copenhagen City Heart Study, an ongoing effort that has monitored exercise patterns among thousands of Danes since 1970. Participants reported their leisure-time activities multiple times over its duration, providing researchers with invaluable information about health behaviors in Denmark.
According to a PLOS Medicine study, those who engage in multiple forms of sports or exercise - from cycling and tennis to jogging and swimming - had more years left in life than those engaging in less activity.
However, it's important to keep in mind that recommended levels of weekly physical activity don't guarantee longevity. According to the American Heart Association's recommendations of 150 to 300 minutes of moderate physical activity and 75-150 minutes of vigorous physical activity for Americans each week respectively; exercising regularly beyond this recommendation could prolong life.
Eat a healthy diet
Eating healthily can extend your lifespan. Eating well will protect you against chronic conditions like diabetes and cardiovascular disease while helping you to keep a healthy weight and lower cancer risks.
Eat a well-rounded diet full of fresh produce, fruits, whole grains and lean proteins; avoid food that contains high quantities of salt and sugar.
Include low-fat sources of protein such as beans, fish, poultry without skin and unsalted nuts as sources. Choose fat-free or low-fat milk products while cutting back on red meat consumption.
Avoid or limit processed meats (hot dogs, burgers, bacon) white rice and white bread products in favor of whole grain alternatives like brown or multigrain breads and cereals.
Study data showed that switching from a Western diet to one which promotes longevity could extend lifespan by nearly two years. Such diet would include more legumes, whole grains and nuts while decreasing red and processed meat consumption.
Get plenty of sleep
Restful sleep is integral to living a healthy life. Sleep helps the body repair itself, making you more resistant to diseases and illnesses.
Sleep can increase energy levels and cognitive functioning. Aim to get at least seven hours each night - or more if necessary!
Researchers conducted a large-scale analysis that demonstrated how having an uninterrupted sleep routine with high quality can extend life expectancy by years. I’ve heard of planking, but that’s an exercise move? We’re
talking all of that AND more!
1. PLANKING
It was a trend that went on in the early 2010’s. Fortunately, you
can do this workout in the comfort of your living room rather
than on train tracks.
Planking is an exercise meant to work out your core muscles.
It’s done by laying flat on your stomach, then holding yourself
up by your elbows in the plank position.
From there, you are to hold this position for as long as you
physically can. While this activity can develop your arms,
biceps, back and thighs, planking does wonders on your
stomach.
The average person is expected to plank for a minimum of two
minutes. This means a lot of people aren’t making it over that
120 second mark.
2. REDUCE STRESS
Now hang on just a second. When I say relax, I don’t mean lay
motionless on the couch and waste the day away.
I mean have a breather and try your best to reduce your stress
levels. Feeling stressed out opens the floodgates to several
health issues.
For one, we tend to change our eating habits when we’re
feeling tense.

disorders?
A study conducted at the University of Michigan concluded
that 40% of all students had changed their eating habits.
This can mean anything from eating more to eating less. The
change in diet is due to the many pressures of college life,

hormone known for increasing one’s appetite. Once triggered,

3 DRINK WATER

If you’re still hungry after that time, this is the proper time to

When doing pilates, your abdominal muscles serve as the centre of all movements, giving your core the workout of its dreams.
As your core goes to work, your transversus abdominis is targeted.
This is a muscle located in your abdominal region that is normally very hard to reach.
A good pilates workout will help you achieve your flat stomach goal quicker than expected, as it exercises both your internal and external obliques at the same time.
5. EAT FIBER
We’ve touched on water. We’ve touched on workouts. I think it’s
time to discuss your diet for a moment.
Higher fibre intake has been linked to lower risk of belly fat.
When fibre’s ingested, It decreases the number of calories
you're able to absorb.
It does this by slowing down food passing through your
digestive tract.
It’s been said that for every 10 grams of fibre you consume,

7 WALKING

9. EAT PEANUT BUTTER
Many of us love a good peanut-butter sandwich, but since you’re going to be cutting carbs,
Peanut butter has 2 grams of fibre and around 8 grams of protein.
Remember how we talked about fibre decreasing the amount of calories you’re able to absorb?
2 tablespoons of peanut butter holds an estimated 188 calories.
This is a perfect meal to have if you are looking for that FLAT [tighter] stomach.

Today’s breakfast:
-> Nestle Fitness Cereal & Multigrain Cheerios with half a canned pear, blueberries and Alpro vanilla-almond milk
Pretty easy and light breakfast because I wasn’t feeling super hungry today. Here in Belgium it is ‘Sinterklaas’ on the 6th of December which is a national holiday on which children get chocolates, cookies, presents, etc. so I’ll probably be having some sweet treats in the afternoon as well. uwu 
Anyway, not the most exciting breakfast but the flavors went well together and I really enjoyed it.
