Can we stop all the toxicness on here? Cuz sturniolo tumblr is the least toxic part of the fandom there’s ppl like @sturnwritess and @nick4lifer and probably more that get barely anything but hate. Like we already have the bragging right of being non toxic like the rest of this fandom can’t say that like we can. Like unless it’s shit like rape or incest homophobia, Nick x fem reader, transphobia, racism, or abuse then you can hate and tell them to go to a03 or some shit but let’s just keep tumblr a nice non toxic place to be cuz i love it here
Much love ❤️

I have a new comfort character and it’s Bill Green from Big City Greens, like therapeutic levels of the happy chemical. What an absolutely nontoxic buddy. A big anxious teddy bear. I love him with my whole heart.

All Purpose Cleaner
There are many ways to approach all purpose cleaners. Technically you could use just water to clean something. As long as there's no grease or dirt particles on something it is clean, but that doesn't mean we should really be comfortable with that level of clean 😂 I use vinegar most often because it's the most simple, but I have a few recipes to choose from.
Vinegar Cleaner:
This really is the most simple option, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work extremely well!
1 part Vinegar (I love infused vinegar)
1 part Water
15 drops Essential Oil (optional, if using infused vinegar you may not find this necessary)
Castile Soap Cleaner:
If you don't feel like things are clean without a bit of soap this recipe is perfect for you! It's still incredibly simple to make.
2 cup Filtered Water
2-4 tablespoons Castile Soap
15 drops of whatever essential oil (optional, if you buy a scented castile soap you might not find this necessary)
These are great cleaners for basic cleaning to get the grime off, but neither have real sanitizing power. Isopropyl alcohol (also called rubbing alcohol) is amazing for disinfecting.
Disinfecting Cleaner:
This is great for cleaning with a bit of disinfecting power, but this is also an amazing glass cleaner!
1 cup Filtered Water
1/2 cup Vinegar
1/2 cup Isopropyl Alcohol
15 drops Essential Oil (optional, if using infused vinegar you may not find this necessary)

My homemade ◦.·Body Oil·.◦ made with rare ✧Blue Tansy✧ essential oil, Lavender oil and an MCT carrier oil. This oil smells fruity (from Blue Tansy) and herbal (from Lavender) and leaves a divine smell on my skin after the shower.

Stop using clean when you mean natural
Stop using natural when you mean chemical free or non-toxic
Everything is chemicals
Natural can be toxic
Clean means nothing when devoid of context

Maintaining Your Highest Self
Welcome to the High Maintenance Lifestyle Blog, your guide to living luxuriously while prioritizing your health and wellness. Here, we delve into the world of holistic experiences, from the soothing benefits of aromatherapy to the rejuvenating effects of spa treatments and the nourishment of natural foods and herbs.
As a woman juggling a career and a bustling business, I know firsthand the challenges of maintaining a healthy balance amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Like many ambitious women, I found myself pushing my body to its limits, neglecting self-care in pursuit of success. It wasn't until I experienced the detrimental effects of neglecting my health that I realized the importance of prioritizing self-care. Maybe, I'll have the courage to share those experiences one day, sometime throughout this journey.
For me, embracing a high maintenance lifestyle isn't about materialism—it's about investing in my mind and body to ensure I'm operating at my highest potential. Granted, I do like nice things and definitely like to live a certain lifestyle lol, and while it fits my "aesthetic," the goal was to redefine what it means and change the narrative regarding self care. The definition of High Maintenance literally means: "needing a lot of work to keep in good condition." Unfortunately for many, we aren't putting in that work.
Over the years, I've made it my mission to take better care of myself, exploring various holistic practices, from indulgent massages, vegan diet (which I learned is not for me lol) to freezing cryotherapy sessions and relaxing hot springs experiences.
I've received numerous inquiries about my lifestyle, prompting me to share my journey with you all. However, it's essential to recognize that everyone's body is unique, and what works for me may not work for you. Therefore, this blog serves as an educational platform, encouraging you to conduct your own research and consult with healthcare professionals before embarking on any new treatments or dietary changes.

Each candle is hand crafted to create a sense of not just tranquility, but luxury as well, encouraging you to indulge in moments of relaxation with the soothing sound of our wood wicks.
I hope this better explains the story behind the brand. Thank you to everyone who has supported me thus far. It truly means the world.
Now, join me as we explore the intricacies of this High Maintenance Lifestyle and discover how my candles can enhance your wellness routine. Together, let's prioritize self-care and embrace the beauty of living luxuriously while nurturing our minds, bodies, and souls.
If you have one of my candles, light it tonight.
With love, Carlissa

Since spring is blooming and summer fast approaching, roaches have returned. I saw one a few nights ago atop an empty cabnet door and a glimpse of another tonight crawling between a drawer.
While i dont mind roaches as a species, theyre not welcome in my home. I'm a clean person, but since I live in an apartment they can be a collective issue. And, as with any bug, they will inevitably find their way inside because theyre so small and can fit through cracks and gaps in walls and doors. So repelling them as much as possible is obligatory.
I usually kill them on sight when i see them, which I've become good at, but every now and then I'll spare them by catch-and-release. I dont enjoy killing the roaches as much as I dont enjoy seeing them inside because, again, I dont hate roaches for what they are, and I respect their important niches in nature. Also, tbh, I dont like the idea of getting roach guts everywhere after I smash them lol. So I looked up a few natural remedies for repelling them, particularly the German cockroach variety that usually intrudes where i live.
This article gives tips on natural and easy methods to repell roaches, including a few natural insecticides like boric acid:
I liked this article for listing various plants that can or could repell roaches:
The article about insecticidal herbs and plants inspires me to finally invest in growing plants in my home. Id rlly like to try my hand at growing plants, especially since I have compost to help out.
Hopefully some of the plants listed in the article are shade-friendly 😭. My unit doesnt get much sunlight for long lol.

In my dwarf head canon, dwarves don’t hate elves or have any disdain for them, they just feel like elves can’t do dirty work? Strength based, mucky dirty work that dwarves just do. Or just mundane stuff like taking out the garbage.
So dwarf love language would be doing this work / these chores because they just assume they’re the only ones who are chill doing it.
“Why do *you* always take out the trash?”
“Because you’d get your hands dirty.”
“I’m okay with that!”
“Well I don’t think you should have to get your hands dirty.”
I may or may not spend too much time thinking about Dwarven love language.
I just think they’d treat you 𝑟𝑖𝑔𝘩𝑡.

Infused Vinegar
Vinegar is one of the best all purpose cleaners in my opinion. I use it all over my house. I'm used to the smell after years of using it for cleaning as well as canning, but I know a lot of people really hate it. You could add essential oils to your cleaning products...or you could make infused vinegar! Infused vinegar is so insanely simple to make as well as cheaper and more sustainable than essential oils. Now don't get me wrong, I love using essential oils, but one bottle takes pounds of plant matter to make. With infused vinegar you can simply add your orange peels to a mason jar after a snack, costing you no extra money and reducing waste.
Orange peels are most commonly used since oranges are popular snacks, but you can use any citrus peels, herbs, or even pine needles! All you have to do is fill a mason jar with your dry matter (Peels, herbs, etc) and then fill the jar with 5% acidity white distilled vinegar and let it infuse in a cool, dark place for 2 weeks. I usually use a quart jar, but if you're not sure you'll like it you could use a pint. Alternatively, if you know you'll go through a ton of infused vinegar, you could make it in a half gallon jar.
