A fresh piece of paper laid in front of me

a perfectly sharpened pencil, so sharp it could cut skin

perfect music in the background

swirling thoughts in my head

a twinkle of what could be ambition

the loud banging of a bright future fills my ears

blinding lights of future glory that put the sun to shame

a carnivorous void in my chest a small hope that I can focus on that piece of paper in front of me

trying to pull myself back into reality

attempting to put the chaos that fills my world and soul into words

realizing that I don't even know what that chaos is

the perfectly sharp pencil no longer seems perfect as it plunges into my chest

a stream of crimson red blood spills out onto my fresh piece of paper

saying all of the things I can't

I wouldn't want to leave the page blank.
