How did you get into Fire Emblem? I saw 3 Houses all over my social media when it was released. I was intrigued so I checked it out and here I am.

Who was your first TOA muse? If you don’t have them anymore, could you see yourself picking them up again? Flayn! I don't have her anymore but I could probably still tackle her. I spent a lot of time thinking about her and all that. I do still love her but I'm not sure I'd bring her back.
Have you had any other TOA muses? Flayn, Dorothea, Annette, Elice, Yunaka
Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? The muses that tend to stick the best for me/the characters I stan the most are usually serious girls lol. Girls with a strong will and determination.
What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? Scenarios that allow for deep-diving into my muses that I cannot get from mundane threads. I love those, but I love the threads where both muses benefit. I also love writing Timeskip stuff that I do on my own time.
Favorite TOA-related memory: All good memories. I enjoy the lore events a lot because my muses always get something out of them. Special shoutout to KKE.

Earlier in October I wrote a list of my favourite KHR fics, highlighting some of them and adding commentary. I had a lot of fun, so I figured I'd do the same with my Danganronpa fics. However, unlike with KHR I have about 4x the amount of Danganronpa (mostly SDR2) fics. More fics will be left out of this list in the spirit of keeping it concise. This doesn't mean I dislike a fic if it's not on this list!

My Ramblings about my SDR2 fics (in order from oldest to newest)
How Did You Get In Here?
While this isn't my first Danganronpa fic, this fic took a scene I couldn't get out of my brain: Nagito escaping the Old Building after Ch. 1 and instead of going back to his room, he breaks into Hajime's room to sleep with him. There was something about the dichotomy of this scene: horror because of the canon scenes and Nagito breaking in to sweetness of Nagito cuddling Hajime in his sleep. I really love this fic with all my heart!
Take It All
One of my first soulmate AU fics, I remember loving this one because I took a soulmate AU prompt (soulmates feel each other's pain if they touch) and thought "What if Nagito's soulmate indicator worked differently?". My favourite part of soulmate AUs is playing with the idea and putting a little twist on it.
Waking Up in Pieces
Your Soul (Is Mine)
I could not make a list of my Danganronpa stories without talking about my most popular story to date. I love this story; so much heart and soul that went into it. There were so many ideas that swirled and coiled in my brain, demanding I let them out. I remember vividly writing this story and daydreaming about the next part. This fic truly ran on my post "I played SDR2" vibes. The rate I pushed chapters out on this fic was insane. The funniest part was, I remember thinking I'd only write five or six chapters. This fic has eighteen chapters.
To be honest when I started writing my Demon Komaeda AU I never intended it to be a series. I also didn't plan on him being as possessive/yandere as he turned out. However, this story is on my list because I vividly remember writing this story. It's a little crazy how this story is like a time capsule for me.
As for the story part, I remember coming up with this story using an idea generator. What site it was, I cannot remember. All I remember was the motif of "descending down into darkness with an elevator" and loving the imagery.
Prices
This story is the biggest love letter to myself. The idea for this story was one I'd had in my heart for three years. I actually wrote it in an original story, back when I wrote original stories that were never, ever published online. Anyways, I always loved the imagery and tone of this story and I was delighted to re-purpose the idea into this fic.
All Kinds of Love
Adoration for this fic cannot be described. I'd always wanted to do a long character deep-dive into Nagito's healing process. However, instead of focusing on canon events of overcoming challenging emotions, I decided accepting and understanding love was the key idea. I always want Nagito to find joy in different kinds of love (platonic and romantic) and this story was a joy and pleasure to write.
Nightmares and Coffee
I want Komaru and Nagito to properly meet! I want them to discuss what happened in Ultra Despair Girls/Another Story! I want Nagito to apologize to Komaru! I want them to be friends!!!! I stand by this headcanon!!! These are the core ideas that drove this story forward. Someday, I will write this idea again! I think Komaru and Nagito as friends would be unstoppable.
Paint Splatters
This fic followed off the heels of fics like Long Days and Healing is a Round Ball. The key component to these fics is a slow, languid atmosphere. There is sorrow and pain, but there is healing and soft moments. The reason why I'm talking more about Paint Splatters is because I am in love with the motif of painting. Framing all the characters doing the same action but in different ways was a fantastic way for me to do a character study on everyone.
1000 Kisses
I came up with this story because I joked with myself "What about instead of 1000 origami cranes granting a wish it was 1000 kisses?" This joke became a reality and I had to not only write it for Komahina I also had to do the impossible: have a piece of paper on the side with MATH on it. The horror.
The taste of melon and the weight of a plushie fox
I LOVE THIS STORY. I just... every time I think about this story my heart warms and I feel immense joy in my soul. I always wanted to write an accidental fake relationship/engagement turned real fic and this story was so much fun!!! I had a blast writing yokai society and Hajime trying to navigate it while being desperately in love with Nagito. I still have ideas to this story THREE YEARS LATER and I'll probably add to this AU randomly. It's like the gift that slowly keeps on giving.
I can't kill you (so we must be destined to be together)
I wrote this story because I used this Soulmate AU idea (Soulmates cannot harm one another) in a Fire Emblem Fates fic years ago. Once again I thought this story would be a fast one but it ended up seven chapters. I also remember thinking "I need Nagito in on the situation immediately" because I didn't want to repeat some scenes and tropes from the Fates Mafia AU me and ObscureReference co-wrote together.
Lingering Taste
I looked up a master post of Soulmate AU ideas, found the strangest one (Soulmates can taste what the other is eating) and went "Yeah, that's the kind of unhinged soulmate AU I want to explore". Seriously, that kind of indicator is a curse in my opinion due to its sheer ridiculousness.
Saved (for a price)
Look, I'm never over CLAMP's Tsubasa Fai and Kurogane dynamic post Acid Tokyo Arc. It haunts me and this fic exists because the idea will never stop haunting me.
Working Relationship
This story was a soft re-do of an older fic, Steal Your Tongue. I like this story a little more because I wrote both Hajime and Nagito as serial killers. That kind of unhinged quality to their relationship is peak and allowed for some funny dialogue.
Energy Drinks
My most recent story! I'm obsessed over the image of death chugging energy drinks to the point I wrote the same idea in Warming Up in Snippets (Ch. 7) but with Kamukura instead of Hajime. Anyways, I like this story because it was soft and quick. A little glance into Hajime and Nagito meeting with potential to meet again. Also, I think this is the first time I wrote both Hajime and Nagito as a supernatural being at the same time.

oh boy I’m not really a shippy person either ... BUT.

What can I say about these two that I haven’t already?? It doesn’t matter whether it’s the regular universe, or the splatoon universe, or whatever other universe might happen in a fic, I really like these two as a pairing when I’m not paring Alarune with myself
I didn’t go into their initial interactions thinking they’d be a couple, but it helped me discover a lot of things about what I wanted out of Queenie’s character - as well as some things about myself. When authors say that characters ‘have a mind of their own’, it really came into play here.
Alarune also just. Really needed to be loved. While Queenie hasn’t experienced quite the same level of distress, I like to think she understands the place her partner is coming from, and why Alarune behaves the way she does...
Queenie likes to lump on praise, even though she knows it isn’t always ‘deserved’, but she wants other people to see and appreciate the effort Alarune makes, even if that “people” happens to be Alarune herself - letting her know that she knows how much she tries -
UM. ANYWAY. OTHER SHPS. I have lots of OC ships like Nightmare/Evian and Pansy/Groa but I’m going to try and think of some media based ones so people have an idea of the dynamics I like (I guess???) It’s embarrassing bc I have way, way more notps than otps.
Player x Partner in Mystery Dungeon
(Particularly Rescue / Explorers / Gates)
Is this a cop-out answer? Am I going to get called names for this one?
I know the whole thing is framed as a really strong friendship, but the absolute devotion the partner has for the player is really sweet. It doesn’t help that they ALWAYS have a moment where the player character “has to go” and you see how absolutely distraught the partner is at seeing them turn into little lights and be erased from existence. It’s okay, though, because they always come back.
They’re an inseparable team, so maybe they can also kiss, as a treat.
Don’t get me wrong, though, I don’t always do ‘shippy’ playthroughs of my PMD games. Sometimes I really am just content with them being friends, you know? But other times it’s just REALLY easy to give them OC names to fill the roles.
Maki x Kaito (From Danganronpa V3)
This game has an absolutely ridiculous ending, like DR2, but I think these two are really sweet together. Elaborating would kind of spoil some of the plot, but basically he’s a motivational goof and she’s stone cold and they both have something to hide.

Currently Reading: I really wish I did more reading. The last book I read was Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree, which I really enjoyed (And read in one sitting on the plane). It’s high fantasy with a literal coffee shop AU setting. Its ... soft. Oh, and that has a naturally progressing romance between two of the main girls - another ship that I like! Yay!
Last Movie: I’m going to see the new Mario movie this weekend, but the last thing I watched was The Brave Little Toaster, and for the first time. It was a trip, but I still enjoyed watching it.
Craving: I have a sore throat and could really go for some icecream right now :(

I have to admit, I was a little embarrassed walking through all the Honor Society students and the middle school science fair kids in cosplay at 9 in the morning but I persevered.
I did go to high school in cosplay once for spirit day however I was insufferable in high school so I try not to think about it. I've never been to an actual convention before though so this was a first.
I am pretty heavily involved in fandom culture but god I was shocked by the amount of anime I did not know. I also felt incredibly old because where were the Hetalia cosplays?! I didn't see a single one and it just feels like as a community we have forgotten our dark past. Though I did see a homestuck cosplay so I have some hope left.
I attended for the entirety of the day on Saturday, most of my time was spent volunteering but I did manage to spend $80 somehow like I really don't know what came over me.
Volunteering was very nice and laid back and it is something I will likely be doing next year as well. I was a bit upset that I didn't get to check out the maid cade because I was so busy but I know that it will be back next year so it's cool.
I really enjoyed watching the kpop dancing panel, I don't know anything about it but the dancers looked really good and everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun.
To be honest, I don't think I have complimented this many people in my life, there were so many cool cosplays and a lot of them were from some of my favorite shows (lots of sk8 the infinity which I loved, a few soul eater and danganronpa ones as well).
The artist alley is where I lost all of my money. There were so many talented artists with amazing pieces and I'm a huge sucker for supporting small artists. Here is my haul (plus a pair of horns that are not pictured).
For the record I have never even seen My Hero Acadamia I just really love Present Mic and this print was just so cool I couldn't not purchase it. The posters are so amazing and I had to stop myself from buying more things. These were all an investment into my happiness and honestly, cash isn't even real money.
Javi's bad fanfiction reading panel was so funny, I feel a little guilty for contributing in the emotional turmoil of a couple dozen people with my very enthusiastic vote for the most horrendous fanfiction known to man, but also I think those people left just a little more cultured. Fanfiction is a vital part of fan culture and we cannot deny how much of it is just straight-up horrible and frankly disturbing so much of it is (I read over 15 million words of fanfiction last year so I am qualified to speak on this). I did have to leave a little early because at that point I had been at the con for over 12 hours and was starting to fall asleep in my chair.
I met a lot of cool people throughout the day, and it was really nice just knowing that you already have a shared interest. Within the first few hours of being there, someone asked me if I was a "button, keychain, or sticker autistic" and when I told them I was a sticker autistic they handed me a swampcon sticker. It was a really nice moment for me I don't know why.
The other volunteers were also all so kind I didn't really come to the con with anyone but I was always talking to someone throughout the day because everyone was so friendly and open. I even got to talk about Hetalia ships with someone which just made my day. I ran into a lot of you guys there as well which was so fun. If you saw me after like 1 then my wig was off because that thing was way too itchy to wear for a full day, I only made it like 4 hours.
Next year I will not be spending all of my money and I'm gonna drag some of my friends along to make sure I get to do all of the activities like maid cafe and the Miku concert (I did not attend but I helped pass out glowsticks so you may have seen me hehe). This was actually so much fun and I would have attended on Sunday as well if I didn't have so much homework to do.
This was me at the beginning of the day with my volunteer badge :P

Trapped in a potential death trap or not, the reality that you can’t accept, Shuichi, is that your friends aren’t always going to be there for you.
I mean...All your friends are striving towards different goals. Kaito wants to go to space, Maki wants to settle down somewhere...Even though you’re all fighting against Zetsubou, they’re all free to make their own choices, and in those situations...They can’t be there for you, and there’s little you can do to help them.
Not to mention that in those times, you need to decide yourself exactly what you want to make of yourself too.
The more time you have together, the better. You’re happy with your friends and family around you, and I’m in no way saying you should ditch them and start living a life you’re not enjoying.
But there are times in life where you need to deal with problems ALONE. Or times where you need to take charge and be EVERYONE ELSE’S emotional crutch.
And THAT is what you lack, which stops you from being the kind of leader and detective YOU want to be.

Murder of Sonic The Hedgehog Explained
Ichiban : I cannot believe you pranked us to think you were murdered. We worried for a Danganronpa-like mystery novel game but then you entirely played a prank to all fans around the world! We’re you even thinking we the guys of Sega are sick and tired of April Fools jokes? All our companies do is to make simple pranks. One time they made Yakuza 7 a game that was originally an April fools joke, the joke that started the real game Yakuza 7.
Sonic : Oh yeah, I was going to tell you that the Murder of me is actually an April Fools Joke. We been planning to do an April fools joke on a mystery train and therefore there was no murder of me and I wanted to apologize for pranking the fans.
Ichiban : Oh really?
Sonic : (takes a pill to put it in his mouth, and then drinks some water to swallow) Funny thing is, I don’t do April fools pranks! I always hated April fools. That’s the reason of Sega isn’t going to make another gaming prank of a murder mystery about me anymore.
Ichiban : Are you swallowing a pill to get those migraines out of you?
Sonic : What do you expect? If there wasn't really a murder of me, I would be explained to tell that if I was really dead and went to heaven or in hell for kissing a character that isn't animal.
Ichiban : Uhh, Mr Sonic. Those aren't your meds...
Sonic : What? (Looks at a bottle of Cyanide pills) Somebody changed my pills! (Before dying) Son of a b*tch, Sega! (Collapses and dies)

Sonic : Yeah, huh? (It is revealed that the person who revived him with a kiss was nothing more than Miku herself) Miku, what are you doing here? And why did you kiss me on the mouth?
Miku : I'll tell you why, some jerkbutt managed to pranked you of being murdered by allowing you to swallow some cyanide pills into thinking someone murdered you on a mystery train.
Sonic : Whaaaat??!? [gets angry, yelling] SONIC.EXE!!!
[Sonic and the gang runs up to Sonic.EXE, angry]
Sonic : You! You told us that Eggman was the culprit and I was dead! How can you tell me that the murder of me was just a prank to kill us all with Cyanide Pills!?
Eggman : What is the meaning of this April fools joke of yours?! You made us look like imbeciles!
Sonic EXE : Not to worry, guys. You'll be happy to get your own Cyanide Pills while eggman gets his pills last. [Pills last is repeated three times deeper]
[Sonic Becomes shocked with Eggman's Theme music playing as voices are heard, he suddenly imagines himself at a table with a Koco at the seat across from him]
Sonic : Yes, Mr. Koco. I would love another spot of tea for myself. [Holds up the pizza casserole] Care for some Pizza casserole? [Crazed laughter. Camera zooms in on his pupil, and the scene cuts back to real life]
Amy : Sonic? You okay there, buddy? [Sonic is dazed and then faints] [yelling] Sonic! [The imaginary scenario ends with Eggman in real life]
Eggman : [talking to Sage] And that's why the murder of Sonic is the best April Fools Story, ever.
Rouge : That was a certainly nice story that you told us, [freaks out] RIGHT AFTER SONIC.EXE HAS RULED THE ENTIRE WORLD AS THE OVERLORD!
[Camera zooms out to show the group are being crucified in the bad future, while Sonic.EXE is shown sitting on a throne wearing a crown and cape and laughs evilly]
Eggman : Well, it was worth an April fool's story to tell you about it.

Mun Views meme - Accepting!
1. On formatting.
I use xKit, so I try to be less picky about formatting in general as it’s fixed on my dash. However, thee are the things that bother me immensely either due to being hard to read or grammatically irritate me:
- Super small text. I understand small text. But super small? I can’t read it on your blog. That means when I’m checking out your blog to decide whether to follow you (more on that in Question 2!), if I cannot read your threads, I’m less likely to want to engage with you because I just can’t determine what your writing style is. I have to squint and get really close to my screen to decipher it, and that’s painful.
- not capitalizing your sentences, proper nouns, anything.
- putting multiple spaces between words. This one is just a hassle for me when I’m trying to read and re-read your replies in order to craft my response.
- Big icons, especially things much bigger than 100x100. When the icon takes up most of my screen, it just seems clunky to me.
Elaborate banners and colored text bother me less, but random all caps is a little off-putting. I bold my dialogue though, mostly so others can find it easily when they’re looking to reply to what my muses say, but that and small text are the extent of my formatting.
And cutting posts is A+, everyone should do it!
2. On OCs.
I consider OCs (I don’t want to say evaluate or judge, but more consider which characters written by which muns I want to write with) the same way I consider canon muses. Do they have a written backstory? Do they have various character traits listed (especially beyond their name/gender/age/sexual orientation)? I look for all of these things with canon muses too (and it’s a turnoff when the only information is a link to the canon’s wiki page. I want to know how you interpret that canon muse, not the wiki!).
But overall, I’m looking at writing style and frequency. Does the mun write in a style that I’m inspired by and feel like I can reply back to, and stay engaged and interested in our interactions? Do they reply with a frequency that works for me (for me, that’s generally not next-day turnaround and not waiting a 1 month+ for replies, barring a hiatus. Somewhere between there!).
I throw my muse in way more threads with crossovers and OCs instead of canon characters in their fandom nowadays: simply put, I tend to like the interactions more. Nothing against the Danganronpa muses I currently write with! I love writing with you all. But the majority of my interactions are not with Danganronpa canons: they’re with OCs and crossovers. When you bring in new muses and verses, there’s a lot more to write and experience beyond the plots/storylines/locations/situations common to the fandom.
11. On your character.
In short, I’m well-aware that my character is not one of the most beloved in the fandom. Sonia, for the most part (or so I’ve read), is a love her or hate her character, and with no small part to blame from the games/anime themselves and how she was interpreted, many fans see her value as three things: humor/stupidity/getting shit wrong, shipping, and wishing she’d died in order to give other characters (namely, Kazuichi) more character development.
It can be tough to be a Sonia Nevermind fan at times, y’all.
Even tougher when you’re not a fan of some of the very popular fandom ships for her.
Nevertheless, I feel the following, possibly objectionable (if the hate I’ve received in the past is any indication), things about Sonia:
- Sonia Nevermind is not stupid. She is sheltered, and there is a difference between being sheltered and being an idiot. What the canon materials did not do well where Sonia is concerned is that they did not give her a chance to really utilize the skills she does have. She lists them in the game herself: international law, economics, diagnostic medicine, foreign languages, and leadership, to name a few! However, in the context of the DR games/killing games, there isn’t much of a chance for her to use those skills. And even as a leader, she understands that, in this situation, Hajime is best fit to lead them and she doesn’t try to fight it. That is grace, that is humility, and she embodies everything a princess should be when she encourages others to use their skills to work as a team to get them free.
She comes off as airheaded because, for the majority of her life, she has been sheltered: she has mostly been in the company of other sheltered rich kids, her family, and her family’s royal staff who, because they are paid handsomely for it, do not allow her to be exposed to the ‘real world.’ I wager that even her mastery of Japanese language at times is overly formal or taken from pop culture: anime, dramas, and the like. She has an idealized vision of Japan and those who reside there because of how she was raised and taught. But she is not stupid (Except in recognizing when people are in love with her for her and not because she’s a princess, but that’s a different issue altogether!).
She wants to learn whenever, however, possible. It’s not only part of being a member of the Novoselic Royal Family but Sonia is innately curious as a person. She does not want to remain ignorant.
- It is a perfectly fine view to have Sonia’s ‘blood sacrifice’ scene mean that she’s participated in a blood sacrifice before and that she’s not a virgin. Or one or the other. It is not fine to criminalize fans for interpreting this scene how they wish: some people have sex. Sex happens. This scene can be read multiple ways.
- Sonia had to mature at a very young age and her ‘talent’ has been her responsibility since she was born, for as long as she can remember. Other classmates were able to develop their interests, and subsequently their talents, over time and by choice. Sonia is not afforded that opportunity: she has always had the responsibility of being the future Queen of Novoselic.
This influences how much her own talent, and the studies/training that go with it, influences her day to day life. I talk a lot about her princess duties and skills on this blog because I cannot imagine them taking a backseat in her life, no matter how much she tries. That is one of Sonia’s constant struggles in every universe and every interaction: how do I reconcile my own desires and needs with those of my family and country?
Furthermore, while she is kind and friendly almost everyone (piss off Junko), this means it’s usually harder for her to give her heart to someone else romantically. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been approached for insta-shipping because “Sonia is such a kind pretty and nice muse and she will love my muse ASAP!”
That’s not how it works. She falls in love far more quickly as a teenager to be sure, but when becoming a legal adult kicks in and she’s given more responsibility and sees a lot more ugliness in the world? She has to be choosy about who she picks as a partner, or at least how easily she will open up her heart and all of its flaws, to someone else. It’s not just about her and her needs: she has so many other people to consider. Millions of them.

The purple-haired schoolboy blinks in disbelief. The school rooftop is not where Kokichi envisioned when receiving the email to participate in the show that he’s obsessed with. Especially when he is ditching to hang out with his boyfriend.
This isn’t the first time that he has ditched his school to visit Shuichi during lunch time. In fact, he's probably spent more time at his school than his own.
He looks besides him, to his boyfriend, who’s sitting on the edge of the bench. “D-did you…?” His mouth grows dry, unsure if he should share the news with Shuichi.
The wind acts as a knife to the silence that’s increasing with every passing second. His heartbeat starts to race. Shuichi has to get in, right? If someone like him got in, there’s no way Team Danganronpa would deny him.
“YES! YES! YES!” Shuichi suddenly shouts with joy, the high chain-link fence behind them rattles from the sudden burst of energy. “I can’t believe it! We both fucking got in, my dear, ahh!”
“H-how, do you k-know?”
Not one to shy away from public affection, Shuichi wraps his arms around him, “I looked over… Just. Like. This~”
“O-oh…” The whisper in his ear sends shock waves through Kokichi’s spine. “I g-guess, I was too c-caught up in my th-thoughts…”
Shuichi lifts his cap up and the purple-haired boy can swear he has stars in his eyes, “ah~! I’m so proud of you, my dear~” He kisses him on the cheek.
Kokichi chuckles against his neck. He’s always so enthusiastic about the franchise, it’s so contagious, seeing as he’s also given the show a chance. What an amazing chance it was.
“We’ve got to see the leaked interviews!”
Only after a couple of clicks on Shuichi’s phone, a YouTube video pops up.
Shuichi leans his head against Kokichi’s shoulder, ignoring how his hat falls to the ground and the sunlight hitting his face. He’s been so nervous that he’d have to do this process alone (if at all…), but with his boyfriend at his side, he is sure they will pass with flying colors!
“Hello! Please state your number and name.” A cheerful voice breaks him out of his thoughts.
“Number 04 and I’m Shoda Doi! Wassup!”
“Why do you want to be a part of Danganronpa Season 50?”
“Come on, it’s Dang-an-ron-pa! If there is some way to get famous…!”
Shuichi scoffs, “being famous… dumbass.”
“Everyone has th-their reason…” Kokichi hushes him.
The blue-haired boy merely sighs, remembering an obnoxious guy from his homeroom. Katio Momota? Was that his name? Shuichi never bothered learning the names of his classmates.
Anyways, he faintly recalled him bragging about submitting an application for the very same self-center idea. Kaito better have not gotten an acceptance to the show… he would make sure that lowlife would never—
“If selected for Danganronpa Season 50, what is your dream Ultimate?”
That question makes Shuichi practically foam at the mouth (and forget his threat). “Oh, I already know~! I would loveeeee to bring back the Ultimate Detective role!” He begins to babble. “They’ve been missing for the past seasons and they were always my favorite! And—and, could you imagine if I was the one problem-solving? Since you will be by my side then I will be able to protect you! What if… My dear?”
He takes his gaze off of the video to stare at his boyfriend. Kokichi doesn’t notice the shift in Shuichi’s attention as he watches Doi go on about his life-long dream of being the Ultimate TV Producer, not once realizing his lips turning into a frown.
Click!
“W-why do you turn it off?”
A hand goes to his cheek, “my dear, what’s wrong?” Shuichi sets his phone down, lowering his voice.
Kokichi sees the world grow blurry and tears start flowing down his cheeks. He lifts his arms to wipe his eyes, but Shuichi is already doing the job for him, tenderly drying his face. “I’m s-such… a b-baby…” He sobs, staring down at his shaking hands. “I’m… so s-sorry… it’s just…”
“Shh… you don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to…”
“I feel s-so… boring…” He spits out that word like it’s venom. “E-e-everyone has… s-such a c-cool Ultimate. I’m j-just… so uninteresting… I d-don’t know…”
“No!” Shuichi boldly protests.
“You are the kindest, adorable, most lovely person I have ever known! Listen…” He hugs him tightly. “I know that with that genius brain of yours, you can come up with an Ultimate that suits someone as interesting as yourself, no matter what. I promise you, right here and now, that I will do whatever it takes for you to find it.”
Ring! Ring! Ring!
“Let’s head to my house for now,” he says under his breath, ignoring the stern stares of the teachers walking by. “Is that OK?”
Kokichi hums in agreement, his face flaring up red from embarrassment from Shuichi abruptly holding his hand. Nevertheless, they sneak past a couple of teachers, blending into the sea of students, and walk out of the school gates.

“What about your hobbies?” Shuichi looks over to him.
Both of them are sitting down on his messy bed, Kokichi with his knees to his chest and Shuichi on his back, tossing a Monokuma plushie up in the air. “You enjoy drawing, reading, and cooking…” He trails off.
“Th-they don’t… I’m not t-trying to be the Ultimate Reader…” He shakes his head, slightly embarrassed.
“Hmm… Is there…” How should he phrase this? “Any character whose talent stands out to you?”
“No, b-but…” Kokichi starts to ramble. “Makoto is c-c-confident, Celestia is r-really ch-charismatic and passionate… Hajime is always so r-reliable. Peko is as selfless as her character can be…” He wilts like a dying flower. “I wish I could be like them.”
He waited expectedly for Shuichi, but he was being unusually silent, “h-hey—”
“You are selfless.”
Shuichi cups his cheeks, “you are charismatic when talking to me. You are passionate about your hobbies. You are reliable in your studies. You are confident by joining Danganronpa with me. God, if only you can see yourself the way I do~”
With that, Kokichi was gone. His ears were painted red and he couldn’t form words anymore except for, “a l-leader… that’s the Ultimate I want to be.”
“You’ll be the best one ever!” Shuichi wraps his arms around his neck, pausing for a moment. “Hmm… I know, you’ll be a perfect supreme leader.”
A flutter of butterflies swarm inside Kokichi, he nervously nods, returning the hug back.
Ring!
“Shit,” Shuichi reluctantly lets go of him, “it’s probably my uncle. Here,” He opens the latch to his bedroom window behind him, the wind rustles through the curtains as the smell of wet grass enters the room.
He grips onto the white window frame and jumps out, his feet landing on a pile of leaves. He turns around just in time for his boyfriend to seize his collar and pull him in for a brief kiss.
“Do you promise,” Kokichi meets Shuichi’s eyes after, “to still… d-date me if I don’t… make it?”
“Absolutely.” He doesn’t waste a thought, “I’ll see you tomorrow, my dear~”

○ Futaba is a light eater. You like the same goods though, which is your gain, as you always get to finish her burgers.
○ Detective movies become games on whi can guess the plot twist faster. Or, Futaba will show you old obscure mysteries to see if she can finally find a movie that will stump you. Movie nights are frequent.
○ I feel like you're a memey person, and so is Futaba. You have 100 inside jokes and references that only some people ever get but they make you two laugh all the time

Oh hello holy shit i didnt realize that was gonna be such a soon thing for you welcome back. They can try to make aether canon all they want but for me lumine always will be. She has better smug expressions & the game is better with her. I finished the major 3.4 quests & jeht is still so gay for lumine. Same with ayaka during the event. I do not understand faruzan but she's the only 4 star i dont have currently & i want her. Even if she is wanderer support. Fish hangout is the one we deserve along with amber hangout. Monafish is so good i love that fischl is so comfortable with mona & sometimes makes her food. Fischl deserves so much she's my original genshin fave. Dr did irreparable damage to my brain but it was a fun time. My friend group cannot say the correct name anymore we just toss out random mixes of words that start with the same letters. Cryo hypo bad fight its the equivalent annoyance of monstadt's talent domain to me. I cheese rifthound with yoi/xingqiu/albedo/geo grandpa because i hate grinding it. Yo that all sounds so fun! Im jealous you got to see the lights ive always wanted to see them but they dont drop south enough here. Ahh thought that may be so. Avery seems cool i am simply bad at talking to people because social anxiety. I dont. Think i saw a eula ad but i saw her & the cryo ladies have so far been a weakness for me so. Bianka is worth it she's so good. A local used bookstore near me had up to book five of rangers apprentice so i decided to buy them because i can. Love those books.

Hi! I’m here to bring you yet another Danganronpa tier list: the sexuality tier list, which you can find here.
Now I’m going to be honest here: I don’t really have any LGBT headcanons. It’s just not really something I focus on much when it comes to fandoms. Instead I usually just focus on ships, and as a result from that I tend to present a lot of characters as LGBT in fanfictions and posts I’ve made or reblogged. In other words, a massive chunk of my “headcanons” here are a direct result of shipping (as well as information I’ve picked up from the games themselves). That being said, it was interesting to actually think about this for once, so I’m kinda glad I did the tier list. And it gave me an excuse to bring back the rainbow color scheme I usually put in my tier lists for aesthetic reasons.
The original tier list had Straight at the top, but I moved it to the bottom for two reasons. One, this is Tumblr and that’s not what you’re here for. Two, I gave it a neutral color, and having a gray section next to a white section (i.e. the title of the list) like that looked bad to me. I definitely prefer this setup just on aesthetic alone.
Because this is largely based on ships, I feel it needs to be said that representation does not factor into this chart in any way. I know it probably looks bad that the only character in the Lesbian category is one of my least favorite (though NOT hated or even disliked, I should point out) characters in the main series. That has nothing to do with the fact that she’s a lesbian. She’s just a jerk, and usually not in a way that’s at least entertaining enough for me to like her.
Also keep in mind that this is just the main cast of the main series games. If you were to include characters from the DR3 anime, UDG, or the spin-offs, the Gay, Lesbian, and Ace categories would get more rep, certainly. Think Juzo, Yui, Takemichi, that gay guy with the trumpet, etc.
With that said, let’s go through the list:
Gay
Not gonna lie, one of the reasons why Rantaro is here (and not in Ace) is because of ships. Though I do sometimes ship him with girls, canon suggests he’s not interested in dating girls, and most fans seem to headcanon him as either gay or ace because of this, so I respected that. That being said, I also acknowledge he’s a very popular character in mlm ships, and at the time I was putting this together I hadn’t gotten to Taka yet so the Gay tier was still empty, and Byakuya was already sitting in Ace, so all of that swayed me to putting Rantaro here instead of Ace.
Taka was much easier to place here. He strikes me as a closeted gay man who probably doesn’t even realize he is gay. “Hey, let’s all hang out in the bath, guys! Getting naked is essential to form bonds with your fellow man! No need to be ashamed, it’s tradition!"
Lesbian
Again, ships. I only ship Hiyoko with one other character, and as soon as I say that you already know who she is.
Bisexual (Male Preference)
Akane is mostly here to account for any wlw ships I may have of her (e.g. Hina, Sonia maybe). Obviously she has a thing with Nekomaru, so Male Preference.
Chiaki is here for the same reason as Akane. I’ve shipped her with characters like Sonia and Ibuki before, but she really digs Hajime.
Chihiro honestly could have been anywhere in the Bi and Pan sections, but I ultimately went with Male Preference because of ships, specifically the fact that outside of the more... R18 circles of the Interwebs Chihiro tends to be shipped with guys more often than girls. Also doesn’t hurt that my OTP is Naehiro. I mean, have you seen how often Chihiro blushes around Makoto? (There’s more to it than that, as I’ve covered in the past. I’m just trying to add more fuel to the fire.)
Himiko is probably one of the few characters that isn’t here mainly because of ships. I do think she has some attachment towards Tenko, but I also get “I’m uncomfortable around her” vibes from her, and there are moments where she seems to crush on Kokichi (of all people) so that’s why she’s here. Still very much bi, though.
Hina has a crush on Makoto and has a complex around wishing she was more feminine so she can attract boys. So why isn’t she in the Straight section? ...Because Sakura, duh. And Kyoko too. And any other wlw ship you can think of that might work with Hina.
Honestly if it wasn’t for Miu I probably would have considered putting Kokichi in Gay. Again, while shipping plays a big part of my choices here, much like with Rantaro I have no qualms with putting a character in a tier that contradicts any ships I might have with that character, if those ships aren’t something I’m super invested in. This is a very important distinction, because it’s why I let ships sway my hand for so many of these even if I am also okay with going “Just because I ship this doesn’t mean I headcanon it” as I did with Rantaro. And honestly Kokichi’s ship teasing with Himiko does come off as more trollish than a sign that he’s into her, but he really gets into his back-and-forth with Miu, in my personal opinion, and he gets into it far more often with her for that matter. It’s why it’s one of my favorite ships for both of them tbh, and it’s because I like the ship so much that I just can’t ignore it for this sexuality headcanon tier list.
Maki... is here because of ships (e.g. Kaede).
Sakura... is here because of ships (e.g. Hina). ...What, you were expecting me to put a guy in the example? Remember, she has a boyfriend in canon.
Sayaka... is here because of... NOT ships, but DRAT. Yes, really. (”We really got down and dirty, Naegi-kun.”)
Sonia... strikes me as someone who swings both ways. I can’t describe exactly why I feel that way, but yes.
Bisexual (No Preference)
Celeste wants a harem of vampire boys but shipping her with Kyoko is also very popular and honestly i feel like it would fit her character. She’s got a look that says “I could get any ass I want and I know it.”
Ibuki is decked out in blues and pinks, and also I ship her fairly evenly among both boys and girls. She just screams bi icon to me, more so than any other character in the series.
Junko is either bi with no preferences or pan. She is an equal opportunity heart-and-soul-breaker and lust-for-despair machine.
There is no Mukuro in this list, but honestly I would probably put her where I put Junko anyway.
Kaede... is here because of ships (e.g. Miu, Maki)
Honestly I had no idea where to put Kirumi, so I just randomly chose one that I wouldn’t regret later if I ever put more thought into who I shipped her with.
I’m pretty sure Nagito being bisexual has some degree of canon attached to it??? I think??? I’m not entirely sure tbh, but fuck it. I’m doing this for fun anyway, so this doesn’t really matter.
Shuichi, like all Danganronpa protags, is bi as fuck. I also find him to be more shippable with guys than the other two protags, so IMO he has no preference.
Toko might have a thing or two for pretty boys, but... Komaru, I mean, this isn’t exactly shocking, I don’t think. Probably was closeted before she met Komaru. I mean she did focus on Hina’s boobs a lot in DR1, let’s not forget.
Tsumugi, much like Kirumi, is here because I haven’t put much thought into her ships.
Bisexual (Female Preference)
Gundham has a thing with Sonia in canon, but I can see him being bi. So... yeah, ships again.
Hajime, like all Danganronpa protags, is bi as fuck. It’s just that his Chiaki and Mikan game is just too strong.
Hifumi might claim to only like 2D, but his interest in Chihiro both in human form and computer program form (and the fact that this didn’t go away after the gender reveal) places him here.
Kaito strikes me as a closeted bisexual. The kind that could start any given conversation with “I’m not gay, but...”
Kazuichi also strikes me as a closeted bisexual, only his “I’m not gay, but...” is rooted more in dumbass than it is in systematic homophobia.
Korekiyo... is here because of ships (e.g. Rantaro).
Kyoko is bi as fuck, and I can see her having a preference towards girls in particular. She gets shipped with girls a lot (e.g. Celeste, Hina, Yui, and even Junko and Mukuro), and when she is shipped with boys it’s usually just pretty boys (e.g. Makoto, Byakuya, Ryota, Shuichi, and, depending on your interpretation, Chihiro). Also note that aside from Makoto and maybe Byakuya, Kyoko’s girl ships are far more popular than her boy ships. Just something I’ve noticed over the years.
Leon... is here because of ships (e.g. Chihiro).
Mahiru is here because I’m pretty sure she has a thing for Hajime in her FTEs, but obviously she tends to get shipped with girls more often (especially Hiyoko), and I agree.
Makoto, like all Danganronpa protags, is bi as fuck. It’s just that his Kyoko, Hina, Sayaka, and Mukuro game is just too strong.
Mikan may be interested in Hajime somewhat, but her obsession with Junko cannot be ignored, no matter how much some of you may want to.
Mondo is another character that strikes me as a closeted bisexual. He is said to strike out all the time with girls, so I do think he’s attracted to women. And I do get some vibes that he’s attracted to Chihiro pre-reveal. And if circumstances had been different, I imagine he probably still would have been post-reveal. But obviously it’s his bond with Taka that I feel cements his sexuality in, at the very least, an mlm category.
Tenko... is here NOT because of ships, but because I’m pretty sure she’s at least sort of interested in Shuichi because of some canon thing... and also I don’t want to put her in Lesbian just because it feels like I’d be stereotyping the Lesbian category if I do that. If we were to compare her to the character that I did put in Lesbian, Hiyoko doesn’t treat people like shit because they’re men, she’s an equal-opportunity asshole. Still not the best representation for lesbians by a long shot, but at least Hiyoko doesn’t follow the stereotype of a man-hating lesbian. She’s just like that, and that’s okay. But putting Tenko there, especially if she’s shown some degree of interest in a male character at some point in the game, just rubs me the wrong way personally, because it would feel like I’m ignoring canon just to stereotype her. Pansexual
I don’t remember exactly how her FTEs went, so I’m not going to get into that, but Angie just comes off as pan to me, like gender doesn’t fit into the equation at all for her.
Gonta I can see as either pan or ace. I feel like he wouldn’t care about gender, and honestly the only reason I decided to put him in Pan rather than Ace is because of that scene with Miu.
Imposter is not only pan, they are currently OT3ing it up with Ibuki and Ryota as we speak, and that’s a fact.
Keebo... is mostly here because of ships. A lot of ships, actually. Mostly male ships (Kokichi, Shuichi, Kazuichi, and, depending on your interpretation, Chihiro) but there’s also Miu to consider. And the Miu game is SO strong that I put him in Pan instead of, say, Male Preference.
Just gonna lump them together because I have the same thing to say about both of them: Miu and Teruteru would **** anything that walks. What did I censor? Well, I’m doing the Nier: Automata thing, so you can put whatever you want in there and trust me, it would probably fit, for better or for worse.
Ace
I know this is an unpopular opinion, because Naegami, but I just don’t think Byakuya is interested in anyone, at least not in that way. He might be fascinated with how common people live, because it’s so foreign to him, but that’s about it.
Straight
Even though I do ship Fuyuhiko with some of the boys, his Peko game is so strong that honestly I can’t see him actually dating anyone aside from Peko outside of some very niche fanfiction.
Honestly, Hiro was another one that I was just like “I have no idea what to do with you.” I think maybe his team up with Kanon made me eventually choose to put him in Straight? I don’t remember. I clearly didn’t put much thought into Hiro.
I really only ship Nekomaru with Akane, so that’s why he’s here. I’m sure if I dive deep enough into my psyche I can pull an mlm ship with Nekomaru in it out of my ass, but like Rantaro that wouldn’t be significant enough to change anything.
Peko is in the same boat as Fuyuhiko. I have shipped her with girls before, but her Fuyuhiko game is just too strong.
Ryoma had a girlfriend once, and as far as I can remember he didn’t really seem interested in anybody in the game, so that’s all I have to go off of for him.

So there you have it. Explanations for literally all of them! Explanations that were definitely not pulled out of my ass as I was typing them, nope, certainly not. Definitely won’t be tagging all of them, but I may tag the ones with the longest entries. And like all the tier lists I’ve done, this was just for fun and honestly any opinion I have for any of these characters could change at a moment’s notice because my brain is fickle like that. Tried my best to make sure that every tier had at least one character in it, but I did so without trying to force characters in places that I personally did not believe they should go. I hope you all enjoyed my dive into this area of fandom that I rarely dive into (the LGBT headcanons, not the ships, obviously). It was a lot of fun, and hopefully it will stay fun and not result in angry anons blasting me for my opinions. I am grateful that this never seems to happen to me, but I’ve seen it happen to others and I know what Tumblr is capable of at its worst. These are just headcanons and a matter of personal opinion, and if you disagree with them, that’s perfectly okay. Your feelings and opinions are also valid.

♡ and even though Nagito would try to take the inniciative to talk to you and learn more about you,

♡ so he would sometimes just talk to you, to see when you are going to tell him to leave you alone
♡ he just thinks, he doesn´t deserve spending time with someone as amazing and happy as you :c

♡ after your talk and your exchange with Nagito, about what´s happening, he hugged you again, even tighter than before
♡ you now got a Nagito sticking to your foot, he will always check you everywhere
♡ he still loved seeing you as happy, but he tried keeping an eye out, if it was getting too fake, and get you out of the situation, if it´s too much
♡ all in all he treis to help you as much as he possibly can, he loves you a lot and doesn´t want to see your hope waste away:c he was always worried, you were going to leave him, but not that way!

♡ either way, if you feel the same way or not, he will keep on sticking to you
♡ it might be, that a relationship is not what you need right now, or that it is too soon, and he is 500% content with that
