ARE YOU AWARE OF THE GERMAN MUSICAL OF HUNCHBACK THAT JUST OPENED
HI! YES I AM AWARE. I WAS THERE!
I love love LOVE the German revival cast! A few of the cast members were also in the production in Vienna that ran in 2022/2023, which I also saw (x4!) and love. Both productions have a very special place in my heart. I'm sorry to everyone who will be subjected to my continuous fangirling about how much I love David Jakobs as Quasimodo...

All my theater nerds who are still alive on here I have a question
Is the Hunchback Of Notre Dame stage adaptation with Michael Arden and Patrick Page produced by the Disney theatrical branch of the company or is it a different producer who got the rights to use the songs from the Disney movie?

I am probably late to the party...
but I just discovered there's a pro-shot of the Disney Cruise Lines Tangled Musical on youtube.
That was a fun way to spend an hour on a Sunday evening.
"Flynn Rider, Wanted Man" is going to be stuck in my head for the rest of the week, though.

Disney’s Aladdin x Queen Elizabeth Theatre x Downtown. (via Deen van Meer)
Broadway Across Canada’s touring production of the Disney version of the Middle Eastern folk tale highlights all the glossy fun of the Arabian Nights-inspired musical. It’s easy to see how the elaborate theatre design, ornate sets, and stunning costumes heightens all the fun character performances and showstopping song numbers. There’s a lot to like about the classic story of forbidden love, a magical genie, and three wishes. Marcus M. Martin’s magnetic performance as Genie highlights the show’s over-the-top scale and grandeur.
Cast: Anand Nagraj (as Jafar) and Aaron Choi (as Iago).
Running live on stage now until July 30.

With me finding a proper replacement gear and being able to repair my music box, I am finally able to continue my music box lullaby series!
This is If I Can’t Love Her from the stage musical version of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. It worked perfectly on this instrument, I didn’t even have to transpose it! I chose to do my favourite part of the song, which is the ending, including the modulation.
Original music by Alan Menken, this arrangement is by me.

@idunnoausersname replied to your post “ARE YOU AWARE OF THE GERMAN MUSICAL OF HUNCHBACK...”:
"an ask from 7 years ago" and there you got my hopes up for a second lol
@idunnoausersname My god, I WISH.
I'm sure it will come back again soon, it's popular in Germany! However, I may need to plan a trip to Spain in the undefined near future...
