altar update! y’all always seem to like these so here they are after a good spring clean!

explanations of what’s the purpose of each altar under the read more!

the first picture is kinda nonspecific to anything, i don’t personally worship the Kemetic pantheon but i have these statues that i’ve had since childhood and i have respect for the Gods so ive given Them their own altar with some of my other supplies.

The second altar is for Lady Aphrodite, Lord Ares, and Lord Dionysus. the cards are greek mythology oracle cards so i set out Their cards (also Lord Zeus and Lady Hestia) and i have a new shamrock plant that i refuse to let die and im hoping putting her (yes i call her ‘her’) on the altar to the deities i worship the most/actually devoted to (Aphrodite), she’ll be able to grow from the good energy

the last photo is my Main™️ altar and the pillar candles are for the Gods of Olympus (white) and the Chthonic Gods (black) as well as a tea light in a candle holder for the house spirits, spirits of the land, and my ancestors. it’s got all my most used supplies and where i do the most spellwork

Samuel Sanchez - he/him, butch lesbian

He's the other perspective character in the story I'm attempting nanowrimo with. He was abducted by fairies medieval style, like they were so enchanted by his music they steal him away for a thousand years to play for them. he is from the 21st century btw i just think its very funny. His actual chunk of the narrative is mainly about him getting used to the court and eventually giving up his name to stay there.

He's a pretty easygoing guy who's also very anxious, and loves to romanticize things in his life. He doesn't like change that much, and is a little glad that he got stolen away because his life was starting to crumble and this way he doesn't have to see it fall apart. Overall, he's a goofy sad girl (neutral) who is very taken with all the glamor of the fairy court he's in. He does have dyed purple hair and I think its too funny to ever change it. I love doodling him in the margins of my notes wearing gamer t-shirts im incapable of actually drawing him.

He serves as a foil kind of to the original main-main character Wrenne, and also is a point of comparison between them wrt how the court had changed in the years between them. Plus, the other main character like... knows basically anything about fairies and is super cautious, while Samuel is just having a fun time.
