sometimes i think about a close or interesting resemblance to a dragons body is a butterfly

them having similar scaling to a fish almost, which is super dope and close to how people will depict dragons sometimes.

and sure some depictions show more resemblance to snakes/lizards or even rock like bodies-

but the visual of a dragon actually being imagined as something so delicate like a butterfly is pretty neat to me! a dragon thats more butterfly like… naturally the design wouldn’t be far off from well- a dragonfly! but it would still have the thick scaled wings of a butterfly and much more dragon appearances.

May I raise a plot point suggestion for the Dragon AU;

Them finding other dragons, be it accidentally or having sought them out. If you're a dragon Jaques believer, maybe they figure out a way to free him from the portrait! Or maybe they find out the hard way that the Government has a dragon on their side as well? I also raise the suggestion of maybe having someone based off of a different dragon type, like a wyvern or an Asian lung! (Apologies for the rambly-ness!)

These are interesting ideas so far and you don't need to apologize.

Wilford was actually a Wyvern with the ability to control rocks instead of breathing fire with Terrence being a winged dragon with the fire breath and Right getting Wilford's durability and tougher scales when he was hatched.

I know I wanted Charles to be some kind of dragon and Dave to be a halfling because Dave luck.

I kinda wonder what scientific name Irkens would get if they were discovered by humans. What classifications would they go under? Would human scientists have to create a distinct a distinct family or genus for them because they wouldn't really fit anywhere else? Would they just be a weird form of insects that actually have bones?

This is interesting, but I don't trust myself to come up with a scientific name because my biology skills are a bit rusty (and I'm not a professional, either). I know that Irkens would be put under the Animalia Kingdom, but I don't know what phylum, class, etc they'd fit into.

They might just be one of those weird creatures that don't fit into any particular group and I'm just a goober. 🙃

You don’t have to suffer any longer, nor shall you be forced to adapt a facade to mask your inner self. The sake of humanitarian order should not come at the expense of ourselves, nor shall it come at the expense of any future generations. To be forced systemic expectation down our throats, and to live under constant societal pressure makes us no different than sheep, herded at the mercy of the land from which we were unwillingly born.

I'm going to start an experiment.

Some days it feels like nothing goes right. Like the universe is specifically targeting you in the absolute pettiest of ways.

Are some days luckier than others?

This is my premise.

To establish a baseline, I will track each inconvenience that happens to me throughout the day. I won't weight inconveniences in correlation to severity as I don't believe that's relevant to my experiment.

Once I establish a baseline, I will incorporate a luck estimation system into my process.

This luck estimation will consist of 5 rolls of a d20, with that score taken out of 100 for an overall luck score.

To avoid confirmation bias, I will check my score at the end of the day, after all points have been recorded.

If results appear promising, I will begin to check my score at the beginning of the day and see how that affects my data.

Maybe I'll find out something cool!

Maybe I'll find nothing.

I'm excited to see how this plays out.

I'll post my findings here, of course.
