“Spring’s about to spring. Persephone’s comin’ back! And here in Cicely, the ice is groaning, about to break with that exquisite and deafening roar. It’s a time for madness. A time for our fangs to come down, and our eyes to glaze over, so that the beast in us can sing with unmitigated joy: Oh, yes, ecstasy, I welcome thee!”
I'd like to propose another toast to our guest of honor, whose healing presence is responsible for this gathering. To Officer Barbara Semanski, who didn't find my radio, but who captured my heart.
Sonny Fisher had been a stay at home Dad allowing his wife Maya to work in her career, which was still seen as a little bit strange. When he eventually agrees to have some “me time” as he is obsessed with the children, reconnecting with his childhood friend Huck would see a truly crazy weekend unfold.

Diane Delano is the mountain girl in The Ladykillers (2004). Diane was born in Los Angeles and has 132 acting credits from a 1983 episode of St Elsewhere to 2022. Her other honorable mention is Heart Like a Wheel. Her entry among my best 1,001 is A Mighty Wind (as witch #2).
Her other notable credits include much tv work, such as six episodes of LA Law, 12 of Northern Exposure, two of Saved by the Bell: The New Class, 36 of Popular, six of The Ellen Show, five of ER, and 21 of Days of Our Lives.
Over 20 years later, still one of the most gleefully subversive and "What the hell did I just watch?" moments from teen drama series "Popular", where the instantly cringe inducing notion of a high school stage show about the dangers of STD's, rejoicing in the title of "That Burning Sensation", becomes... of all things, a Cabaret-style Weimar Republic number. with Carly Pope channelling her inner Liza Minelli under Diane Delano's direction.
i said i didnt know a good voice in mind for cheri a while back but after rewatching infinity train i think diane delano’s voice for tuba kinda nails what i want? like she speaks very deliberately but softly and yeah i think it works

I have a full and total hatred for Nicolas Cage. I think he’s a terrible actor and everything about him bothers me. His mannerisms, his facial expressions, his voice. I just cannot stand him. So now that that’s out of the way, this movie sucks. He’s lured to this island on the premise that he’s looking for his ex-fiancee’s missing daughter. Instead of calling the local police, he decides to go to the island to look by himself because he’s a cop in another place. And then mysterious things start happening, making him doubt what’s going on. But it’s already too late --the movie’s stupid.
Rating: F. I get it, his family is prominent in the movie business. But I would pay to NOT have him be in anything else, ever again.
When Gail Hartman returns to her hometown with her son Roarke to take him on the wild river for his birthday where years earlier she used to be a guide, her workaholic husband Tom had originally not travelled with them but caught up just as they were about to leave, their daughter left with Gail’s parents. They were not the only ones to be navigating the river . . .
