The Cat Clan

Although it's destiny was to be frowned upon until death, still stands up with it's face covered in it's own blood.

Kots (Cat, in Russian), also called "Black Sheeps" is an inferior sub-race derivated from the First Bloods, being one of the most weak races known yet.

They are not considered weak only because of their lack of strong atributes, but also because of the modus operandi of their anatomy. When born, they start with the appeareance of a human, which means they aren't born with their full potential yet.

The members born in this Clan require an "Awakening" process to unlock their best abilities, which still leaves them behind compared to other demonic races.

Kots are born with normal teeth and no special abilities besides being able to summon familiars and transform into cats. When awakened, Kots unlock weak regenerating abilites, limited magic, a strong sense of smell, night vision and they grow fangs.

They are easily recognized because of their eyes, which are always coloured differently, one being blue most of the time, and also because of their fangs, as they possess not only the superior ones, but also two more tiny fangs in the inferior teeth row.

Since the beginning of their existence, Kots have fighted other races in search of more power, this influenced by the Royal Family that has always guided them on a constant massacre, they're always educated about the importance of fighting for their race, as they fear that their lineage will keep downgrading with the time.

Kots, as they have low regenerating skills and are weak in most senses, are easily killed by stabs and/or serious wounds that produce a serious blood loss.

Since some centuries ago, they've settled a truce with Ghouls, as they found no point in fighting each other. With this truce, and in their search of more power, they discovered that any trial to procreate between a Ghoul and a Kot is unsuccesful, as the kids are born dead. This made Kots think that they'll never be able to procreate with another demonic race to generate a much more stronger one (but anatomy is not the only obstacle, but also their reputation would keep them from getting close to any superior demonic race).

They are believed to come from a weird cross between impure vampires and wolves, yet this is unknown certainly.

Kots are often ridiculed by their felow demonic races, and they are called "Black Sheeps" as they represent a shame for the entire demonic lineage.

Interestingly enough, only the Royal Family can summon familiars, these being Cats or Crows most of the time, sometimes both.

Tomoky is currently known to be a member of the Kot's Royal Family.

Laito: "Odd, idiotic, and shy if you want the short version of it. But In general, I'd say Natsu is quite aloof, does her own thing, and has her own ways of doing things even if it isn't the most practical. Jokes tend to go over her head and it's quite easy to tease her without her realizing it, honestly. She's not fond of new people or those she doesn't know well, so I actually like that if it means more time of her choosing to spend with me. She can be smart, but it's more book smarts over any other intelligence. So at least she's smart in that area. I sometimes fake needing school help just so she also has to be with me, because why not?"

Kanato: "Tomoky isn't a perfect Doll, but indeed seems like she tries to. She obeys all my commands and does whatever I ask her to, she learns pretty quickly, right, Teddy? Fu fu... I think she was predestined to be with me, after all, the other girls are obnoxious. She just suits me."

I've got to add, though, I pretty much had to tame her, Doll is much more obedient than she was before, she used to play smart and try to confront me... Pathetic."

Reiji: “My dear Mana actually has quite some layers to her so it is not something to just put into simple words.If you are however asking me for a rather brief summary, she is a very intelligent and strong-willed woman though a bit of an airhead sometimes.”

Subaru: “ーー An idiot. Sharon’s the kinda girl who’d walk into a trap with her damn eyes wide open. Not only is she way too trustin’ of others, but she really needs to be more careful ‘round those shitty brothers of mine! I’ve warned her a million times by now but she never learns, damnit!

...What? You expected me to say somethin’ positive as well? Che. Guess I’ve got no other choice. ...As much as her kindness gets on my nerves when it’s directed at others, it feels kinda nice to have someone care ‘bout you...Ahー How should I put it? Bein’ together helps me calm down. ...Her smile’s pretty cute too. ...O-Oi! Don’t you dare tell her I said that, ‘kay!? 

Shu: "Ophelia? Ah, my beloved Ophelia. I can say that she is a person with a lot of energy, sometimes she gets me quite tired but I still love to hold her close because she is very calm. *Chuckles* "And if I use the right method I can make her quiet very quickly~. Kazuha considered her answer expressionlessly, unable to recall any true memorable individual from her years of youth. It wasn’t until a few seconds that her features curved sourly, as though something unpleasant had plagued her mind. The dire look on her golden eyes died down just a moment after. “I suppose I could say something of my grandmother.”

“Admittedly, our dislike for one-another was mutual. Krone despised my presence as much as I did hers. I don’t believe there is a way in which to express how terrible it was to look almost identical with someone like her, for which I cut my hair once when I was younger. She wasn’t pleased—nor was Giesbach or my father—but it was liberating to see her squirm on her throne as I waltzed through the castle in a haircut shorter than my uncle’s.”

Kazuha folded her arms and sighed. “My father hurt his relationship with my grandmother in the aftermath of my birth, but one could tell they were still close. No matter, for she never seemed happy about little me’s attempts at being someone she could present to the public as her granddaughter with pride. Alas, it appears my mother’s blood was too strong of a repellent to aid a crumpling situation.”
