Glenn had dialed the number Aruto had given him to see if he could reach Devra Caspit. Ofcourse he had to make sure that he would tell her his story. "....."He went to wait for the other to pick up.

“Incoming call from Hiden Intelligence.” The mechanical voice of Omnitron says to Devra.

“Oh, is it Aruto?”

“No, this number is not connected to the president or vice president.”

“Well put it through.” Devra tags the bluetooth set in her ear. “Hello, you’ve reached Devra Caspit of REVO-Corp. Who am I talking to?”

What's this? It's Devra, in a cute business blazer and pencil skirt, holding what looks like a dog-eared copy of a movie script. "Hi there. I'm Devra Caspit, and I'll be auditioning for the part of 'The Redhead's Wife.' Ahem..." She looks down at the page for a moment. "'Ruby, I love the sound of your heartbeat when I wake in the morning and your breathing when I go to bed. You are the best person in my life.'" She close the script. "So, did I get the part?"

“I’d like you to try that again, but with the actress we’ve cast to play the redhead” the director called, and Ruby in a black accordion pleated skirt, and a pink t-shirt came out from the other room, script in hand

"Hey, Tsubasa, look what I found for you." Devra hands over a small tea set, where the teapot looks like a mother swan, and each teacup and saucer looks like a cygnet swimming in blue water. "Found these at an estate sale, and thought you'd like it."

Upon seeing the tea set, Tsubasa’s blue eyes practically lit up. Sure, the swan theme was a tad predictable when it came to gifts, but Tsubasa wasn’t the type to complain about that kind of thing. She smiled as she accepted the set from the woman. “Thank you so much! Would you like to have some tea with Bonnet and I, Miss Caspit?”

“Miss Song, was it?” She has the folder in her hands and she tucks a strand of pink hair behind her ear. “I’m Devra Caspit, and I’m here to give you the first interview for a position here at REVO-Corp. If you’ve heard of our company, we deal in robotics, cybernetics and the advancement of medical and spacefaring technologies. Of those branches, which one appeals to you the most?”

What had been a short trip into another world had turned sour very quickly. For just a few moments after she had arrived in this Swiss village, someone else had fallen through the portal. Someone who had no qualms about hurting people, whether mechanical or biological. Though Devra had driven “Friction” off, there were still nearly a dozen injured people in the rubble left by the speedster’s sonic booms.

Devra has some training in first aid, but she’s just one person. Taking out an emergency transponder, she dials it to what she hopes is a distress channel.

“This is Devra Caspit, in the village of Grindelwald. We have several seriously injured civilians in need of immediate medical assistance. If you are in the area, please respond!”

The music in the air (cantusecho)

When a giant monster shows up, most people run away. Not Devra Caspit. She picked that up from her teammates. Always run towards danger.

As she enters the area with the monster, she starts stripping parts from a nearby wrecked bus, her power shifting the gears and engine block into a mechanical T-Rex.

She’s about to sic the Tyrannobot on the monster when she hears it. The notes of a beautiful song. Usually, when she hears music like that, there’s a redheaded music master about to descend into the fight.

What she wasn’t expecting was a girl, about the same age as Cure Swan, in a tricked out battle armor.

She looks at her Tyrannobot, which gives her the closest thing it can to a shrug with its short arms.

“Um, ok then...Tyrannobot! Back her up, I guess!” She points at the monster and the T-rex rushes into the fray.

A different game (apmeka)

The damage here in Mumbani still hasn’t been repaired since the attack. A young woman with pink streaks in her hair stands over a fallen OR-15, trying to bring a spark of life back into its programming.

The fact that she seems to be repairing the servos of the omnic without laying hands on tools may be a bit disconcerting to most.

“Please identify yourself.” The Omnic requests as the LEDs shining in its eyes change color to pink.

“Devra Caspit, Freedom Five.” She answers, unaware that she has an audience.

“Error. Devra Caspit is a fictional character from Sentinel Comics Publications. Please identify yourself.” The Omnic’s database has no record of the woman repairing it.

“Devra Caspit. I just told you. Now please, tell me what happened here. What happened to your brethren?” Devra looks up as a shadow falls over her. “Oh...hi there. Do you know what happened in this city?”

The woman with the pink streak in her hair looks up at the Crusader with stars in her eyes. “Oh my god. Your gear is so amazing! A projected energy barrier, rocket powered hammer and jet turbine boosters built in? It’s so amazing!”

Stopping herself before she gets too deep into the fangirling, she takes a deep breath. “Sorry about that. I’m Devra Caspit, inventor, lover of technology and you are just amazing!”

A major issue with switching gears like this is that I need proper faceclaims for these characters.

I can’t simply take McCree from Overwatch and make him Chrono-ranger, despite their similarities.

Benchmark is a black man with cybernetics, and I’m trying to decide whether to use the Smallville Cyborg or Dethlok from Agents of SHIELD for that.

Kismet is Native American, from the Dakotas; La Comodora is Spanish. Starlight is Brazilian, Malichae is Iranian.

Visionary and Dreamer/Muse, despite being the same person technically, are different people. The former is bald, and the latter is a young girl with black hair. I could conceivably use Tilda Swinton’s Ancient One from Doctor Strange for Visionary.

For characters like Stranger, Omnitron and Lifeline, I can use their card art for icons.

So, I’ll probably be searching hollow art for the appropriate faceclaims.

But in 2018, this blog will go from being golemintern to the far more appropriate sentinelsofthemultimuse. Just so you know.)

“Intriguing.” The voice comes from a mish-mash of robotic parts in a vaguely humanoid shape. As the red eye scans Kiriya, the robot continues. “You are a being of data, based on the biosigns of a once-living human. My threat analyis indicates...”

“Don’t finish that thought, Omnitron!” A woman with a streak of pink in her hair walks up behind the robot. “Sorry about that. We’ve been working together for years, and Omnitron still doesn’t understand proper social cues.”

She offers her hand. “Devra Caspit at your service.”
