There's something weirdly...disingenuous in all the posts questioning why Orym might want to talk to Dorian specifically and not the others. Like, this post is really good and covers the non-romantic reasons why this makes sense, and I agree with it entirely! Also though, it's not like Liam hasn't pretty consistently made it clear that Orym has feelings for Dorian. You do not need to like this (I think it's abundantly clear that I think you can openly dislike a ship) but you do look kinda dumb if you're like "why would he want to specifically speak to someone he's known longer than anyone but Fearne, who's slightly removed from the current tragedy, and whom he has repeatedly messaged whenever he's feeling upset?"

don't wish to be controversial but actually it is very possible to be a mindful consumer and limit your access to brands and consumerist propaganda. it can be difficult because society is ultracapitalist and advertising is baked in to the very foundations, but it's certainly possible and I would encourage anyone to learn how to be mindful about what products you use and what media you engage with, and cultivate a better understanding of how corporations try to manipulate you into feeling like it was your idea to consume their products in the first place

having an original character is like having a child, yet it's different because they are, in a way, an extension to yourself
And they can be rooted from the wherever, a dream, a song, a stupid idea
And you can manage them however you want too, give them unique qualities and such....make them faithful to their roots
Or just link them in ways that will hurt you in the long run, making you question your own sense of identity, because sadly,
They are an extension of yourself

So I've decided to make my master list in google docs now instead of adding to the ongoing posts on Tumblr. =_=
They got back to me with the same robotic response, meaning they have no care to really look into the issue at hand. So, since I'm one of the few who refuses to use their phone for everything and mostly uses PC where the bug persists, I'll just be doing this from now on:

Opening my eyes, expecting to find myself in the windowless compound I had confined my body the day before, I'm met with the sight of sunlight beaming through multiple windows. Frantically glancing down, I discover my hands still tinged with the same blue hue as my Avatar from the previous day, moving my hands around in disbelief.
Suddenly hit with the same pain I had the previous day, but this time the feeling tenfold worse. My hands instinctively reach to cradle my head, as if my hands were protecting my head from whatever pain was causing my head to ache.
This can't be happening! I was suppose to disconnect from this body. Thoughts started to race through my mind, while my brain simply couldn't catch up before being hit with another wave of pain.
As I stagger out of bed, a wave of agony crashes over me, each pulse feeling like a bullet piercing my skull. Struggling to maintain balance, I attempt to walk, but with each step, the pressure in my head intensifies. Collapsing onto the bed I had just vacated, I cling to it for support.
Looking around the other Avatar beds, I note that Norm, Grace and Jake had all left to go do something requiring the use of their Avatar bodies, leaving me alone in the compound. Using all my remaining strength, I decided to go to the one person who I know could possibly help, Max.
Approaching Max, he seems to already be expecting me, turning around with a smile on his face. "You seemed to have a early start of your day, already in your Avatar body so early. Grace, Norm and Jake went out to the forest, they'll be back in a few hours." he says, smiling up at me, but faltering as he realises the look on my face.
"Max, I didn't delink." I say weakly, looking down at him.
"What? No, that's impossible." he says smile now fully replaced with a serious look and calls over the other scientists and doctors in the bio-lab.
Multiple doctors and scientists walk up to me and help me get on a gurney set up. "Don't worry Y/n. We just need to run a couple of tests." Max says, trying to reassure me.
Hours pass, and seemingly everything that the doctors do makes the pain worsen. With every needle etched into my skin, with every question asked bouncing around in my brain causing pain. The strength that I once felt in this body now deteriorating as the hours go by. Deciding to go against the many warning and wishes of doctors and closing my eyes in the hope that I would delink in the process.
Ties passes with me being asleep but still stirring discomfort. Grace and Norm both walk up to me in their human forms, having delinked prior. "What's happening?" I hear her say through closed eyes.
Immediately opening them, I utter, "Where's Jake?" looking at her then behind her in hopes of my brother to wheel in from behind.
"Where's Jake? Where's my brother, Grace? Norm?" I repeat louder, frantically looking at them waiting for a response, as I hiss because the sudden movement causes the pain to resurface.
"Jake got lost, he'll be fine, he's a marine after all. You should be worried about yourself right now." she says trying to calm me down.
Deciding to lay my head back down on the gurney, a single tear rolling down my blue-stained cheek. "You lost my brother," I say defeated as I close my eyes, not wanting to stare into the cold lights on the lab.
"Grace, Y/n didn't delink last night." Max interjects, breaking the silence in the lab. At his words, both Norm and Grace instinctively turn their gazes toward Y/n, noticing the thin layer of sweat formed on her forehead.
"Why can't we just press the emergency release button on her link bed?" Norm asks, directing his question as Grace.
"That'll kill her and her Avatar. She is too weak in both states." Grace responds eyes not leaving Y/n, who lies there, examining her false body whilst her real one remains trapped in her link bed.
"This cannot be treated with the medicine we have. This is an Avatar body. Only Tsahik can heal her now."
Opening the door to his link bed, Jake is greeted with the sight of Grace flashing light into his eyes. "Come on back kid." she says slapping his face lightly.
You're not gonna believe where I am." he says with a chuckle, earning a smile from Grace who immediately knew what the Marine had just said, while exiting the link bed. Reminded of the harsh reality as he adjusts himself on his wheelchair.
"Where's Y/n? I gotta tell her all about the shit I went through today," he says, wheeling around to go find his sister.
"That's what we wanted to tell you Jake, Y/n is still in her Avatar form." Grace informs Jake, as he looks to where her link bed is situated and confirms that the bed is indeed still running.
"But, she's been that way since yesterday. She's sick Jake. A sickness we are not capable of treating. Only Tsahik can, and you're the only one they accepted in, so we need you to–" Grace adds but is cut of by Jake.
"Take her to Mo'at. I got it." he adds while still being in disbelief at the information that Y/n was still in her Avatar form.
"Where is her Avatar?" is all he says as he looks away from Grace, guilt eating at him. While he was snagging a date with the Olo'eytkan's daughter, his very own sister was fighting for her life in a body she didn't wish to even have.
"On the gurney." Norm says, pointing at a still Y/n in the center of the room, wires attached to her temple and onto a monitoring machine.
Wheeling over to his sister, Jake stops and looks at her face. Eyebrows scrunched, as if she could still feel while she slept. "Don't worry Y/n, I'll bring you to Mo'at, she'll know what to do."
Tumblr media
"Come on, Y/n. I'm gonna need you to work with me here." Jake grunts, his effort evident as he hoists one of my arms over his shoulders, helping me off the gurney.
"I'm trying," I sigh, leaning heavily onto his Avatar body. The pulsating agony in my temple dulled a bit, but still remains excruciating, especially at the slightest of sounds- ironic, given the heightened senses of an Avatar.
"We just need to get you onto the Samson. Trudy will take us halfway there, we'll have to walk the rest." he says, leading me into the loading dock where a lady, who I assume to be Trudy, waits. Both Grace and Norm by her side in their Avatar forms.
The flight didn't take long, but the machines noise makes it unbearable to sit without contorting my face. "We're here Y/n." This is where we split." Grace says, placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder as the Samson lands amidst Pandoras dense flora.
Exiting the ship with Jakes help, I watch as Norm, Grace and Trudy fly off. Norm and Grace are yet to be accepted by the Omatikaya, while Trudy's situation is more obvious.
The trek to the home tree isn't far, but I struggle to appreciate Pandoras beauty as my head seems to only want to be focused on pain. "This wouldn't happen with Tommy–" I begin through gritted teeth.
"Would you just–Y/n. Stop thinking of the past, he's gone." Jake interrupts, his voice laced with irritation as he adjusts my arm, supporting me as we continue.
"How could you just forget–" I start before silencing myself, fixated on the towering tree ahead, it's entrance clearly marked. Voices fill the air with a foreign language.
"Kewong." is the only word I hear as Jake and I navigate through the gathering crowd. Inspecting us as if we were uninvited animals. The murmurs fade but linger as a commanding voice resonates through the gathering.
"Jakesully. We accept you, yet you think it's acceptable to bring back another tawtute!" a woman declares, descending the home trees stairs with confidence, her demeanour unmistakably authoritative.
"Mo'at. Tsahik of the Omatikaya Clan. I ask that you please help my sister. She is ill and cannot be helped by our healers. You're her only hope." Jake pleads occasionally averting his gaze from Mo'at's stern glare.
Mo'at turns her attention to me, and I stiffen under her sharp gaze. "What's your name?" she asks bluntly, her eyes boring into mine.
"Y/n. Y/n Sully." I reply, swallowing hard.
"Tsmuktu. Uniltirantokx Tsmuktu." she declares, circling me like prey, mirroring the crowds earlier inspection.
"You are weak, Weaker than your brother Jakesully. You will not survive." she declares, her words final. She refuses aid, and Jake seems to sense the seriousness of her words.
Stumbling forward, out of Jakes grasp, I follow Mo'at pleading silently as my knees buckle beneath the weight of my throbbing head.
"I only aid The People. You, Y/nsully, are not one of us." Mo'at declares, dismissing me without a glance.
In the midst of Mo'at's discourse, a dandelion-like creature lands briefly on my forehead before fluttering away.
A woman steps forward, "Atokirina, Ma Tsahik." she says in a rushed voice, offering a tentative smile.
"A sign from Eywa." she explains, lifting me gently. "Ma Tsahik." she turns to Mo'at with a knowing look.
"Come," Mo'at says not bothering to look back, leading the way with the woman and Jake by my side.
"Who's eywa?" I whisper to Jake, to which he shrugs. "No idea, asked Norm and he gave me a lecture, but I tuned out." he whispers back, a shared chuckle lightening our steps as we struggle to keep pace with the Tsahik.
Entering a tent-like structure, I can only assume belongs to Mo'at and her mate, the Olo'eytkan. "Lay down." she instructs me.
As I comply, Mo'at resumes speaking. "Neytiri, fetch her appropriate clothing. We do not tolerate tawtute attire." she commands, turning to Neytiri, who promptly departs. Mo'at kneels beside me.
As Neytiri leaves, another Na'vi man enters, his anger radiating as he confronts Mo'at and I. "How could you allow this demon entry?" he accuses, pointing a finger at me.
"Tsu'tey she is unwell. She poses no threat." Jake intervenes, stepping forward with his hands in the air.
"You! Do not adrress me as one of your own." Tsu'tey rebukes Jake, pushing him aside to confront me.
"You suffer because you inhabit a false body. Return to your tawtute life." he insists glaring down at me.
"I would if I could," I retort, meeting his gaze from my position on the floor, catching Mo'at's attention.
"If you could?" she probes skeptically before returning her focus to crushing the herbs, while Neytiri re-enters with a loincloth and accessories.
"Yes, I am unable to revert back to my human form." I admit, sighing as Mo'at and Neytiri exchange meaningful looks.
"Child, you are chosen by Eywa. Both you and your tsmukan." Mo'at declares, placing a cool cloth on my forehead and motioning me to remain still.
"It is settled. You will be instructed by Tsu'tey, once you are well." she concludes leaving, with a furious Tsu'tey follwing behind.
"I will teach you both the ways of our tongue." Neytiri announces before departing, leaving Jake and I alone in the home of the Tsahik and Olo'eytkan.
"Rest Y/n. I wanna go back and tell Norm about how you and I are both getting trained by the future clan leaders, I wanna see the jealousy on his face." Jake says, a grin on his face as he exits, likely to delink.
With that, my eyes drift closed involuntarily, the pain slowly receding as I slip further and further into slumber.

Hi there!! Just saw your post ranking interpretations of spiderman based on how jewish they are. (Great post 10/10 btw.) At one point you say Spiderman's ethos and values are very Jewish -- as non-Jewish person who doesnt know that much about Jewish culture, I was curious what you were refering to more specifically! Thats potentially a long post so you don't have to answer if that's too complicated haha but I'd love to learn more :))
Hey thank you so much for asking (and for liking my post)! You're right in thinking this is a complicated topic but I love answering complicated questions so you're good :D
That said I'm not going to detail every part of Spider-Man's Jewishness, just because... Honestly, there's a lot. Recently I posted a TikTok on an aspect of his Jewishness I won't even be lightly touching on in this answer. But just because I can't and won't cover everything doesn't mean you can't learn anything at all, so let's focus on the Big One -
Responsibility.
Responsibility is a big part of Peter Parker's story, and by extension and as a result nearly every Spider Person has been burdened with it. Peter Parker is given great power, and therefore has great responsibility, we know this.
Tumblr media
(Amazing Fantasy #15)
I think it's interesting the way that this was attributed to Uncle Ben in most of later canon and in subsequent adaptations*, because Uncle Ben does not - and CAN not, for the story to work - know that Peter has superpowers when he tells him this.
(*with the exception of the MCU, the least Jewish of the Peter Parkers...)
But if Uncle Ben isn't telling him this as a warning to use his superpowers wisely, then what could it possibly be referring to?
Everything.
Because a person doesn't have to have superpowers to have great power. This is true in the big sense - politicians and CEOs and your high school principal all holding extreme leverage over the rest of us - but more importantly, more relevantly, we all have a power on the people around us.
Among Jews, we have a phrase, which in Hebrew goes: כל המקיים נפש אחת, מעלים עליו כאילו קיים עולם מלא. In English: anyone who saves a single life, it is on him as if he saved a whole world (adapted from wikipedia's translation of the Mishnah, Sanhedrin chapter 4:5). This is a double edged sword; we are capable of infinite creation, and infinite destruction as well. The phrase is mainly used in the sense of saving a life - you have saved not only that person, but also every person they may help or save or even birth later on. The Sages weren't picturing a superhero when they said this - they were referring to practical matters, and Uncle Ben is doing the same.
By delinking Peter's responsibility from his powers*, the overarching Peter narrative instead positions it as universal - you are alive, therefore you have great power, therefore you have great responsibility. You are a person, therefore you are an entire world. Spiderverse's insistence on the "it could be anyone behind the mask" only makes this argument stronger, in my opinion. The you who is responsible for everything you do is not Peter Parker, it's YOU. You, reading this, have great responsibility. You, reading this, are an entire world.
(*the MCU, in turn, explicitly linking Peter's powers or role as Spider-Man to his responsibility is an extremely early flaw, all the way back in Civil War when he talks around the phrase but we all knew exactly what he meant)
Anyway yeah. By no means comprehensive and not even everything one could say about this particular sub-topic, but, Peter Parker's Jewishness absolutely seeps all the way down to the big Spider-Man thing.
(See this post also as a fuck you to the guy who cried NO NO HE'S NOT JEWISH HE'S RESPONSIBLE!!! as if those two things aren't directly linked lmao)

I Was Scared
Tonowari x Reader x Ronal
Summary: If you know me you know we have to have our obligatory eating disorder fic. If you know me you know I need to work on my crippling ED by writing about it.
Warnings - eating disorders, mental health issues, too much fluff.
You had a problem, you knew that, but you couldn’t find it in you to dig deep to fix it. You kept it pushed pretty deep down; you didn’t want others to know how bad it was. You also just didn’t want to hear it, you didn’t want other's pity or their help, you were suffering but you were doing it to yourself. You didn’t think it was that bad yet, you knew you couldn’t keep losing weight but you almost didn’t want it to stop.
Of course, you work with scientists, they were going to take notice, they knew the human body quite well. They were all very smart and for a while, you could blame it on being busy or being linked in for so long and just not noticing. But you knew, you weren’t stupid, you were purposefully avoiding it, even when you had food pushed in front of you, you didn’t want it. The thought of having to put food into your mouth and chew it and swallow it was too overwhelming. It felt so gross and so unappetizing, you didn’t want to have to eat, you didn’t want to risk gaining weight but you were scared of how much you were losing.
You noticed how skinny you’d become but food was still unappetizing, you had no appetite and still food made you nauseous. You did what you always did, you avoided it, and you evaded questions and physicals from staff members. You didn’t care, anything was better than eating, even your health declining. You just hoped it would get better, currently, you were still okay, malnourished and dehydrated but okay, you still did all your daily tasks. It was just tricking you into believing that you were okay, you knew deep down you weren’t and that you had to eat, but it’s not that simple, you were scared.
You went with Jake and his family to the Metkayina clan for refuge, it was there you met your mates. Ronal and Tonowari brought you into their relationship almost right away, they felt an instant connection. Of course, now that you were here, you had to change your schedule a little, you knew your brain function was on the decline. You napped every day now since your body was constantly tired and commonly you would have dizzy spells or get frequent headaches.
One thing that did help was you saw Ronal constantly, she enjoyed seeing you but she didn’t like that it was because you were in pain. A few times since you’ve been here, you passed out, you just suddenly delinked from your body. It worried Jake and his family a lot, Norm had told them about your condition, none of them really knew it was an eating disorder or how bad it was, but they knew you weren’t eating.
Who didn’t know was your mates, but you could tell Ronal was catching on because even in your Na’vi form, you still struggled to eat. They noticed how you’d barely eat and how you struggled to take bites of things.
This was all a mental game, it didn’t matter what body you were in, you would still suffer from this. Even your Na’vi body was skinner than the others which is saying something. You found being here was nice because your muscles had been eaten away at so you weren’t as strong as the others in the rainforest. It was hard sometimes to keep up with people swimming since you always got tired, most of the time around mid-day, you take a nap. You’d delink and let your body rest, you knew you needed it and commonly when you woke up, Ronal would be sitting next to you.
She always cared so much for you, it’s like she could see that you were struggling, and she knew you needed help. She was always there, running her hand through your hair, she was always so motherly with you. You knew she was worried, and so was Tonowari, they said as much, they knew your health was on the decline. Then one day, your body didn’t wake up, they knew that you linked in so not waking up didn’t mean too much. But they worried about your real body hours away, they wanted to know what was happening and if you were okay.
That’s when Jake got a call from Norm, you weren’t waking up either, you were alive and breathing but something was wrong. Apparently, your heart rate was very low and all your blood tests were coming back with so many red flags. They were doing more tests, but you’d be out for a while, but you were okay for now. It was now understood how bad things were, how bad you made things, how bad your fear made you.
Jake just had to go tell Tonowari and Ronal.
You had just mated with them a few days ago, how could he break it to them that you could die soon? He walked over to their mauri and they were in there, Ronal was getting some medicines ready for you.
“Jake, how is she?” Tonowari asked.
“I got a message. Apparently, she didn’t wake up this morning either. They are running tests on her now, she’s stable for now but her heart rate is low. Norm told me that her levels are all low. He said that she was not eating or drinking water. They are trying to help her.”
“We have to go see her,” Ronal spoke up.
“We can’t just leave,” Tonowari exclaimed.
“It’s our mate, she needs us. We have to go see her.”
“We can’t leave our people alone.”
“Let Jake look after them. If she doesn’t make it, we have to be there for that.”
Tonowari nodded as he held Ronal in his arms, “then we will go.”
“I will take good care of your people,” Jake said as Ronal and Tonowari packed some things and got set to leave.
They took some time to get there and when they did, they started looking around for you or someone that could take them to you. They were terrified, they just wanted to see you they wanted to ensure that you were okay. They were escorted to the lab where you were, a doctor was checking you over and they saw your pale body lying there. They opened the door and the door turned around to look at them, Norm was with Tonowari and Ronal. He told the doctor that these were your mates and to allow them to stay.
They were both so worried, they asked the doctor what was wrong with you, only for them to get a long list. They were scared, they wanted you to be okay, and they didn’t want you to be hurt. The doctor said that you were malnourished and dehydrated, that your heartbeat was irregular and you had passed out from it being so slow. They were concerned, they needed you, they wanted you back, they didn’t want to lose you.
You had been out for a few days now, your mates sat there waiting for you, they couldn’t lose you. When you did finally open your eyes slightly, they jumped up to be by your side, the smile that spread on their faces was the first thing you saw. You smiled as you saw them, you had no clue about passing out or how long it’s been since then. All you knew was that your mates were here in front of you, and then it occurred to you, that you were in the med bay and you were in your human body. Then it clued in, what happened?
The doctor came in once you were awake, he took your pulse and did a few other little checks. You felt a fear creeping up your back, the fear of what possibly could’ve put you in here. Then you were worried about how many people knew and what really happened, did you pass out or did you get brought in here while you slept? You didn’t know and you were too scared to know, you didn’t want your mates to worry and above everything else, you didn’t want to be forced into eating.
“Do you know why you’re here?” The doctor asked.
You shook your head; you knew but you’d play dumb.
“You passed out. Malnutrition and dehydration. I know you’ve been struggling with this for a while but we need to get you better, I’ve heard even your Na’vi body is getting bad as well.”
You couldn’t look at anyone, you felt the tears prick in your eyes, it felt slightly humiliating. You didn’t want to have to admit to your lovers that you did this to yourself, that you let your fear take over.
“Yawne, we want to make sure you’re okay. We don’t care about how it happened, just that you can get better,” Tonowari said as he took your tiny hand into his massive ones.
You sniffed and looked up at him, you moved a little to attempt to hug him. His large body blanketed yours as your arms tried to wrap around his body.
“I want to be better. I don’t want to be like this but it’s too much.”
“We will be here for you,” Ronal said.
“It’s not like that. I’m terrified of eating. It doesn’t get better. I’m too scared of everything that comes with it. I hate eating, I hate having to feel nauseous so badly that it’s easier to avoid it. I don’t want to die, I don’t want to lose more weight, but I can’t eat.”
“Yawne, we know. The doctor told us everything. We want to help you even if it’s just baby steps.”
“I don’t know if I can even bring myself to eat.”
“As long as you do a little more than you were, we can build. It doesn’t have to be everything right away.”
“I struggled to eat what I did. I don’t know how I could do more.”
“We can work on it. Both this body and your other one needs to feed and drink. We will work on getting you better.”
A few days later you were released from the med bay and Tonowari and Ronal went back home, you had to stay out of your avatar for a while or at least until you started major improvement. You had to be better hydrated and eat a little more on a day-to-day basis and when you did go back into your avatar you had an eating schedule put in place. You were excited to be able to get into your avatar again, you missed being with the Na’vi, and you missed your other family. You wanted to be with your mates again, you wanted to see them and be near them.
When it was your first time linking back in, you knew what it was going to feel like to be in a malnourished body. It was going to suck and you knew that, you had to be prepared and you were probably going to be made to eat.
When you woke up, you weren’t where you normally slept, you were in your mates’ mauri. You knew instantly that was where you were, you sat up slowly and that’s when you saw Ronal mixing up a paste. She immediately ran over to your side to cradle you, she looked so happy to see you up, just to see you open your eyes. She brought some food over to you as she helped you sit up; she placed it in front of you and sat next to you and held you.
“You don’t have to eat all of it or eat it quickly, but just eat some of it, please.”
You looked up at her with doe eyes and slowly looked at the food, you slowly picked it up and ate it. Alien food was too much for your head to wrap around, the textures were weird and the tastes were different too. But you didn’t want to disappoint her or Tonowari anymore, you had to do this, you had gotten better in your human form but this was different.
Ronal had a smile on her face as she watched you eat, Tonowari entered the mauri and his smile was just as wide. He was happy that you were here, happy that you were awake, happy that you were eating. Tonowari picked you up and cradled you and hugged you, he swung you around, he was happy to have his mates back again. They were happy that you were okay and that you were doing better, they were happy that you were here and safe.
“I’m sorry to have scared both of you. I didn’t mean to. I just got so out of control. I just couldn’t bring myself to eat. I was scared to tell you; I was scared of what you’d think or say. I don’t want to disappoint you two.”
“You haven’t disappointed us; we were just scared. We want you to be safe. We want to be with you till the end of times,” Tonowari said sitting down with you in his lap in front of Ronal.
“We have lived without you for the past couple of weeks and it has been hell. We miss you. We don’t want to lose you.”
“You won’t have to be without me again, I promise. I want to do better; I want to be better. I have to adhere to an eating schedule now for both my human body and this one.”
“We will be here to help you out. We will always be here for you,” Ronal said as she pulled you into her lap and placed a kiss on your lips.

This isn't a gotcha question but a genuine concern. I noticed today that Critical Role has taken down (or made private?) all the content with BWF in it, including TalksMachina. Will the Encyclopedia keep up its articles and transcripts of those videos for lore and resource purposes?
The adminship decided that the wiki will retain our existing coverage of this content. It is also our intention to allow editors to continue editing these topics and complete coverage at this wiki, especially for those interested in having a record of the content of these episodes now that they are no longer available. The situation is immensely different from that of Feast of Legends—do not take this as a comparison of the two—but it is worth noting that this is consistent with our earlier, similar decision to cover that one-shot comprehensively after its removal from the channel.
While the topic is being discussed, we have also announced on our Discord server, where we coordinate many of our editor efforts, the following:
We wanted to keep you updated regarding Critical Role’s recent removal of content that featured Brian W. Foster: We have archived/downloaded copies of the removed content for the purpose of maintaining our coverage, but have not yet decided whether to make it publicly available. We are also in the process of delinking the now private YouTube videos: citations of the removed content will remain, but VODs will not be linked. Please refrain from speculating or commenting on the nature of the incident or Critical Role’s decisions surrounding it. As the details were made public only via a tabloid leak, please refrain from repeating them on the wiki. Wiki coverage should stick to the facts of the matter that pertain to Critical Role content (ie, that Talks Machina, Yeehaw Game Ranch, Undeadwood, and various one-shots were removed from public channels).
If you or any others have any further questions about this topic, please contact the admins here at the wiki's Tumblr account (not the personal accounts of the admins, not on this topic) or through the wiki's Discord server. Further information related to editing on these topics, such as what we have archived and any other updates relating to this, is and will be made available on the Discord.

Perhaps the most striking result of this policy was the transformation of the Palestinians in Gaza from a community with national, political, and economic rights into a humanitarian problem. The needs of over two million people were reduced to sacks of flour, rice, and sugar—assistance for which the international community was, and remains, entirely responsible. Gaza could only experience relief, not progress. Humanitarianism has since become the primary way that international donors interact with Palestinians in Gaza—in effect, a device the Israeli military uses to manage an undesirable population, with no vision of anything but more management. “The West Bank and Gaza are now almost completely delinked,” a World Bank report stated in 2008, “with Gaza starkly transforming from a potential trade route to a walled hub of humanitarian donations.”
Israel has, in other words, created a humanitarian problem to manage a political problem. It not only compelled humanitarian intervention but transformed ordinary life into war by other means, using the threat of catastrophe as a form of governance and suffering as an instrument of control. Until recently the goal was to avert a large-scale disaster such as starvation.
Now that goal has been superceded. For the past ten weeks, with the exception of a one-week “humanitarian pause,” Gaza has been under a total siege; Israel has virtually halted the entry of fuel and restricted the entry of food, among other critical necessities. Palestinians who refused to relocate to the southern part of the Strip after warnings by the Israeli military early in the assault were told that they “might be identified as an accomplice in a terrorist organization.” The metric has changed from starvation to death. “I’m still alive” is the measure by which my friends in Gaza live.
