I watched Horse Sense for the first time and Brink! is on the big screen when Michael (Joey Lawrence) shows Tommy (Andy Lawrence) the guest room.

I didn’t have any huge Brink! sequel plot charted out but I rewatched part of the movie and honestly the skate crew have big “we’re all queer but don’t know it yet” energy, I know that gets said about a lot of media but I feel like it’s relevant here and then while musing on this I realized “trans woman Jordi” is a galaxy brain take that will very likely end up in the next Brink! story I write

how is under wraps not the first dcom pls explain /gen
OKAY SO the first movie that Disney advertised as a "Disney Channel Original Movie" was Northern Lights (1997) which came out a few months before Under Wraps BUT when Adventures in Babysitting came out in 2016 they claimed it was the 100th DCOM and had a marathon of all 99 DCOMs that came before it in the month leading up to the premiere where they specifically did not include Northern Lights and started with Under Wraps. people think it's bc there was smoking in it and so Disney Channel doesn't wanna be associated with it but like. there's guns in Under Wraps and on screen murder in You Lucky Dog (the second official DCOM) so idk what their logic is

I've been waiting about two weeks for Luke and Andy to address the DCOMs taken off Disney+ - we're now 12ish minutes in and they're only just getting to the film, which is everything I ever wanted
