💝Only Us - White Day💝 Lawrence x GN!Reader

Continuation of the Valentine’s Day one-shot

Sooooo, I wrote this for White Day a while ago. The Valentine's day one-shot and this one were for a mini event in the Dangerous Fellows discord server I made. (If you're interested in joining, DM me for the link!) I kept planning on posting this but then kept forgetting and almost wondering if it was too dark. I will put a trigger warning for this one!

An attempt at GN!Reader again, this was written when I first started making GN!Reader content, and was trying to figure out how to work with the holidays in their tradition while still keeping it GN. Thank you!

Since Valentine’s day, you, Lawrence, and the rest of the group have been getting to know each other again. But, it was like learning to love an entirely different person when it came to Lawrence since his turn of events.

And it was what it was. Love.

Lawrence didn’t have that fake authenticity anymore. Instead, he was kind, sweet, and genuine; he grew to become someone so bright and helpful and kind. Even in only a month, he had become such a respectable person.

Unfortunately, he was still under the equivalent of house arrest. But the day he was going to be free again was tomorrow.

White Day.

He had been planning that day since Valentine’s Day. Plotting, planning, thinking, writing, everything and anything he could do to ensure the day would be perfect. He’d no longer have the anklet tracking him; he could finally be alone with you and give you the gift he had so desperately worked hard on to win your heart.

“Hey,” Lawrence softly spoke when he walked up to you. “Do you want to spend White Day with me?” He was cute and straight to the point. You quickly fell in love with that smile he quickly flashed you.

You smiled wide at the boy, a slight blush creeping onto his face when he saw your smile grow. “I’d love to.”

“Hey, Ethan is going to teach us baseball. Do you guys want to join?” The redhead quickly crashed the moment between you and Lawrence. You didn’t mind.

It was all so good.

Too good.

The next day was White Day. You were so giddy and excited. You practically jumped out of bed to prepare to spend the day with Lawrence. You couldn’t wait to see his face, and knowing him, being such a romantic, you couldn’t help but be hopeful of receiving a gift from him since you got him one.

“MC?” You heard outside of your tent. You hopped on over to open it up and let Lawrence in.

“Hey,” You quietly giggled, not entirely ready but still enough to bring such a sweet and smitten look to Lawrence’s face. “Was there anything specific you wanted to do today?”

“Yes, actually,” He adjusted his glasses. He seemed nervous.

“It’s okay,” You rubbed his arm, easing any nervousness he had within him. He instantly calmed down at your kind gesture, looking at you with love and adoration. He could stare at your face for ages.

“You look amazing, MC,”

You blushed. “You look amazing too, Lawrence,”

“I uh,” Lawrence cleared his throat. “I did get you a gift. Though it’s more of a presentation, it is a gift.” He confessed.

“Oh?” You looked at him curiously. He walked over to the entrance of the tent and closed it. “I don’t know whether to be excited or scared.” You chuckled, watching him walk back over to you with small strides.

“Thank you,” He spoke. “For Valentine’s Day. You have no idea how much that meant to me.”

The sincerity in his voice was genuine. Yet, you couldn’t stop feeling uneasy. The atmosphere almost didn’t feel safe. Lawrence would never hurt you. Would he?

“This is me returning the favor.” He smiled at you. Yet, the smile was different. It wasn’t the Lawrence you fell in love with, no.

This was the Lawrence who tried to kill everyone at the school to steal you away.

Almost immediately, from the tone of his voice, your eyes widened. You took a step back. He pouted at your fear.

“Don’t be scared, MC,” He stepped forward. “You know the musical you showed me a week after Valentine’s Day? Dear Evan Hansen, was it?” You nodded sheepishly, taking another step back, causing him to take another action forward. “My favorite song was the duet between Evan and Zoe. Only Us.”

He closed his eyes and let out a soft sigh, beginning to hum the melody before he started to sing.

“So what if it’s us,

What if it’s us,

And only us?”

And before you knew it, Lawrence slowly revealed a sharp object from his oversized puffer jacket as he gripped the handle and stepped closer to you, continuing to sing.

“And what came before,

Won’t count anymore,

Or matter.

Can we try that?”

Almost as if predicted, his strides towards you sped up to cover your mouth before you could scream. But you still tried calling even if he muffled the sounds. You even tried licking, biting or coughing into his hand to get him to pull away, but he wouldn’t budge.

“Come on, MC,” He softly spoke, getting closer to your ear.

“You and me,

That’s all that we need to be,

And the rest of the world falls away,”

Then suddenly, you felt a sharp pain go straight into your chest, right next to your heart, as a small chuckle escaped his lips as he continued to hum. Next, your eyes blurred as you felt something cold and wet dampen your shirt. The pain only worsened when it felt like he pushed something into you and then swayed side to side.

Back and forth, back and forth.

Was this what he had been so meticulously planning? What had he been studying? Was he studying anatomy?

To know exactly how to extract a human heart?

Before your consciousness fell from the pain, lack of blood and fear, the last words you heard were Lawrence completing the once sweet song.

“And it’s only us.”

It wasn’t long before Lawrence got caught. He wasn’t trying to hide that he won your heart just like he planned. As soon as he took hold of it, he stared at it with love. Lawrence exited the tent that your lifeless body lay in and presented his prize to everyone.

He won your heart.

Thoughts On Jay

So I just wanna say, I am sure I am not the only ones who thinks so but in his last scene Jay pushes us down the stairs or smth. I dont think he had any bad intentions. Cause like remember there was a crash and he even shouted and then pushed MC. I think he tried to save MC from something. Probably zombies....afterall he didnt survive. Could it be Lawrence intentionally somehow caused his death? I am not sure and am not blaming Lawrence but there is a possibility because why Jay pushed us and how he died was never explained. I really hope he pushed MC to save her. Thats the most likely possibility. ^_^

Alright what are your thoughts? Lets discuss maybe ?

I signed up for a otome game but i got thriller instead :) Its not bad at all though.

zombie infested romantic walk with lawrence

mainly fluff and comedy tbh, however tw for mentions of death in a joke.

it was a casual monday evening, and you wanted to stretch your legs for a bit. so you ask lawrence if he wants to go on a stroll, march, prowl, promenade, hot girl walk, whatever he wishes to call it, you just want out of the house.

"promenade? are you bored enough to start reading the dictionary?" he asks, turning to you in his spinny desk chair.

you correct him and say you've been reading the thesaurus. which he rolls his eyes at in an amused fashion.

"ok, ok, sure. i'm almost finished writing the meal plan for this week anyways."

he gets up and pushes the chair in, before putting on the jacket you hate so much with its horrible orange color. you just slide on your shoes and reach your hand out for him to take.

he grabs both it and the safety kit as you both head out the door. you both bask in the setting sun like vitamin d deprived dogs. it was comfortable out, a nice breeze ruffling your lovers hair.

it feels so nice to just be you and him, the zombies don't count as people. they are simply background noise to the day. this has become your normal. dare you even say you are no longer surviving, but instead, thriving. life has never been better for you both, even if you do still mourn the ones you've lost (which you are alone in.)

lawrence points to an old drug store, that looks free of zombies. "do you want to do some shopping?"

"oh but, i don't know if i can afford it right now. everything is so expensive anymore!" you say jokingly, which goes right over his head.

he tilts his head like a puppy, smiling gently with his eyebrows knit together. "but... its free. we liv-"

"i'm going to steal it all." you threaten.

well now he looks concerned. "i mean really its foraging because we don't really have anyone to pay, let alone an economy to-"

"lawrence i'm so excited to steal all the lipgloss. all. the. gloss." you continue, which makes him catch onto the joke.

"well, the only thing you stole so far was, my heart." lawrence said, with an goofy grin. he wasn't good at this, but it made you love him more.

you both walked inside, picking up items and pretending as if times were normal. trying on those cheap sun glasses, lawrence picking you out a really sweet card, picking out nail polish for each other, lawrence putting an annoying toy on the top shelf so you can't reach it. you know. zombie date things.

you two reach the lip product area, and you pick up an shade of bright pink lip gloss. you turn to lawrence and say, "you know. scharlette did look drop dead gorgeous in this color."

which makes lawrence laugh so hard he has to sit down. yandere humor is typically a big hit or miss with him. this time it was an home run though.

when he collects himself he picks up an pastel pink tinted lip stick. "when i was young, i'd play with my mothers make up. i don't know why, i guess i wanted to be pretty." he says with an shrug.

you are pocketing different shiny glosses and just say, "yeah no, i can see that for you." and simply nothing more, which gives him an mini crisis before he notices hello kitty bandaids near by.

he stocks them in the safety kit, which now held: a knife, rubbing alcohol, some snacks, a note lawrence left you about how to clean a wound that was oddly lovey dovey, a lighter, plenty of water, and now cute bandaids. "lets head home before it gets too dark." he suggests, packing it up carefully.

you poke his cheek and smirk, "oh, is it grandpa hours? time to sleep the second the sun sets?" you ask, before he kisses your cheek.

"is it so bad to want to cuddle up next to my partner?" lawrence asked with a playful huff.

you blankly look at him. "you're just tired of holding the bag, huh?"

he looks away. "...no." so yes. you grab it as you two walk home.

the zombies are just background music to you two wandering back home. life may not be normal, but you both found a love that doesn't require a normal life. it's perfect just the way it is.

How the dangerous fellows characters react to you having a caffine addiction:

Idk man- I'm running on zero sleep and an energy drink- So I thought why not? I'll probably do one for Obey me as well bc idk-

Characters included: Ethan, Zion, Eugene, Harry, Lawrence, Scarlet, Judy, Hailey, Sue, and Jay

Ethan:

-Okay, to be fair, he probably notices it, but won't stop it unless it becomes dangerous-

-He may not notice it, but there are times he'd be concerned. He'd walk into your house and see all the caffeinated beverages and be like, "Uh, Ma'am/Sir/Mx, are you mentally okay?" Please talk to him if you just want someone to listen-

-But if anything happens like you end up in the hospital, he'll feel so bad. Please hug him-

-Overall, if you're trying to stop a caffeine addiction, he'll help you. But otherwise, he won't force anything-

Zion:

-Okay hear me out, this man has a major caffeine addiction-

-Like during school you'd probably catch him having either an energy drink or like a 12 pack of soda-

-I've seen someone carry an actual 12 pack of soda, and the dude acted like Zion- So that's my reasoning-

-If you need a soda or somethin, this man got it.

-If you're trying to quit, he's not the best one for that.

-He's the type that would just walk up to you and hand you some sorta caffeinated beverage. Why? Don't know. You're welcome-

-Don't open this man's locker- I'm telling you now. Because the second you do, you're just going to find it filled iwth other 12 packs and lonesome energy drinks-

Eugene:

-Okay, he's on the spectrum having a caffeine addiction, but also not. Like you can see him drinking something with caffeine in it, but then he won't touch it for like 2 weeks after

-He'll probably just scoff and tell you that it's bad for you.

-If you're dating, he'll try and drag you to drink other things. It doesn't have to be caffeine free, but just something with less caffeine. He'd try and keep it so you wouldn't know, but you do-

-I'd say he's a pretty good person to get over a caffeine addiction with. Probably does make some remarks, but he doesn't mean it- Baby's just a tsundere-

-If your addiction is really bad, I could see him grabbing your drink and just chugging it- He doesn't like to waste things, but also has declared you've had enough caffine for one day-

Harry:

-If you're good friends, he'd probably discourage it and would be worried. But he wouldn't be all over you about it. I mean, Zion's also got an addiction as well-

-But if you're lovers... He'd probably try and help you get away from it.

-Like Eugene, he'd try and get you to try other drinks. Tea, juice, flavored water, etc..

-If you're trying to quite, bruh this man's got you. Want help cleaning out caffeine? He's got you. Need a drink? He's taking you. He's overall a 100000/10 for any sort of addiction.

-If you offer him an energy drink, he'd probably become slightly hyper- If it's not a sweet one, his face would scrunch up- He'd tell you it wasn't bad, but you can tell he doesn't wanna hurt your feelings-

Lawrence:

-Addiction? Nah, he wouldn't allow it-

-But theoretically with him stealing all the caffeine and throwing it out, he'd be very concerned.

-Would totally read random facts about how bad caffeine is

-Since he's pretty manipulative, I could see him being the type of person to start drinking caffeine and drink it as much as you do so you stop. I mean, you wouldn't want him injured, right..?

-Overall, not a good man to have an addiction around- Please someone bop this man with a newpaper-

-Trying to quit? Don't worry, he's already thrown out all of the caffeine- He won't even let you go to the store with him in fear of you buying soda.

-If you're really addicted, he'd help you by giving you small amounts. He doesn't like the addiction, but also doesn't want you in pain. (Quitting addictions abruptly is not good. Certain ones are dangerous, while others just cause minor annoyances like headaches and stuff. I know because I have a caffeine addiction-;'))

Jay:

-Really doesn't care. He's the type to look the other way.

-He's the type to believe caffine isn't dangerous for you.

-Are you trying to quit? Okay, cool- He doesn't really care.

-If you are closer to him, he still wouldn't care much. The only time he would be if something happened to you.

-If you aren't looking, he'd probably steal your drink. Not to help you, but it just looked good-

Scarlet:

Yeah, she kinda hopes it kills you-

-That is, unless it's like an enemy to lovers or enemies to friends kinda deal.

-She'd say remarks all the time.

-Probably would also read to you the facts about how unhealthy it is.

-If you're trying to quit, she'd legit grab everything caffeinated and throw it out. No buts-

Judy:

You can't tell me this woman doesn't run on energy drinks.

-Talk to her about good flavors of caffeinated beverages. She knows a lot-

-If you're trying to quit, she'd quite with you. She cares too much about you to let you go through that by yourself.

-Please hug her. She's so sweet-

-She'd come over to your house at like 3 and be carrying a whole box of energy drinks and snacks. Get ready because you're gonna be drinking that and watching movies for the rest of the night- Tired? Go ahead, drink another.

Hailey:

-Tbh, I don't think she's ever had any energy drinks- Maybe has had one soda, but hates it.

-She'd try and act like it doesn't bother her, but you can clearly tell it does.

-She'd warn you that it's unhealthy, but would leave it at that.

-If you end up in a hospital, she'd cry- Please hug her. She's sensitive.

-If you're trying to quit, she'd be so happy-

-Every time you open a caffeinated drink around her, she'd probably step a few feet away from you. I feel like she has a sensitive nose, so she doesn't want that smell near her-

Sue:

-If you aren't close to her, all she'd do is look at you in disgust.

-She has had both energy drinks and soda, but finds it disgusting. If it's coffee, though, that's a different story.

-She'd tell you, the health benefits of things like coffee and tea, but would also counter it by explaining how unhealthy other caffeinated beverages are.

-If you're trying to quit, she'd give you some tips but that's about it.

-She doesn't know much about good flavors of soda or energy drinks, but if it's coffee, she's the best one to ask. Probably makes the best coffee you'll ever have-

Dangerous Fellows: Arguments. Ethan, Lawrence, and Zion. (Requested)

Thank you for requesting, I hope you like it!

Ethan:

~If Y/n thought he was silent before, Ethan's silence during arguments during an understatement.

~Before, Ethan would nod, letting you know that he was listening, but not during fights, he lets Y/n know he isn't listening.

~It has been a week since Y/n and Ethan talked, a week of Y/n apologizing, a week of not falling asleep in his strong, warm arms, a week of quietly crying herself to sleep.

~By this time, Judy had noticed and had enough of her friend's torture.

~So one night, Judy marched over to Ethan's room and pounded on the door, so loud it got Zion's attention a few doors down.

~Ethan opened the door, dark bags under his eyes, which were red with no sleep.

~"Ethan, quit being a little girl, man up!" Judy shouted "I don't know what the fight was about, but Y/n is sorry, so sorry that she is literally crying herself to sleep right now. "

~Ethan looked down at his feet, all the while Judy stared at him, hands on her hips.

~He finally made his way to the classroom Y/n was staying in. He took a deep breath when he saw her curled up in a ball crying.

~To be honest, it destroyed him seeing her like that.

~Ethan sat next to her and laid a hand on her shoulder and would apologize.

~"I'm sorry that I let the fight get this long, and for ignoring you. I just got upset, I was afraid of losing you."

~Y/n would turn around and wrap her arms around his shoulders.

~Ethan hugged back, running his hands down her back, soothingly.

~"Just don't do something like that again, it was really dangerous." Ethan begged.

~"I won't." Y/n promised.

~"Now let's go back to my room and go to bed." Ethan smiled as he kissed the top of her head.

~As the couple fell asleep, they held each other tight, whispering I love you's.

Lawrence: tbh he kinda scares me.

~He saw Y/n talking to a random guy at the Safe Zone, smiling. No flirting was going on, the man was a family friend, and Y/n was relieved that someone she knows is still alive.

~Lawrence got possessive and mad.

~Lawrence still wouldn't hear Y/n out, and this made her get upset.

~"Quit being jealous, there is nothing going on between us, I promise, I've known him since I was a little girl!" Y/n yelled before walking away.

~That night, when they went to bed, Lawrence tried to cuddle up with Y/n, but she was still upset, especially when her boyfriend ignored his own behavior. So she scooted away, telling him to knock it off.

~Lawrence had to think of something to make her stay, "I'm sorry, I just get jealous, especially knowing that you're incredibly beautiful, any man would be insane if he didn't want you. I won't act like that again."

~Slowly, Y/n scooted closer to his side and cuddled against him.

~Lawrence kissed the top of her head and pulled her closer.

Zion:

~When Y/n had first arrived at the school, she sensed that Scarlett and Zion were close, she thought they were just friends.

~But one night during the night watch, Zion confessed to Y/n that he likes her. Y/n also confessed, and they started dating. This made Scarlett jealous.

~So one day, she marched her way over to Y/n, like she was on a runway. A smirk was evident on her face.

~"Zion and I just kissed, and he loved every moment of it. He asked if we could sneak out later once you're asleep," Scarlett smirked, "I thought you should now. Sorry not sorry, but Zion wants me, you were just game."

~After calling Scarlett a not-so-friendly name, Y/n walked to her room. If Zion wasn't on patrol, she would go to him. So she just waited.

~A few minutes after Zion had gotten back, he went to Y/n and dragged her to his room, and held her in his arms.

~"Can we talk?" Y/n asked.

~"Yeah, in a little bit, let me calm down a little." Zion spoke.

~"It's important." Y/n mumbled against her chest, tears threatening to fall from her eyes. She knew she shouldn't let Scarlett get to her, but right now Y/n was scared that it was true.

~Zion told her to continue. So Y/n told him everything that happened that morning.

~"Gosh, Y/n, when are you going to stop listening to her?" Zion sighed, "it's actually quite annoying-"

~Y/n cut him off, "Annoying? I'm coming to you to communicate before assuming everything. Plus, she had been trying to break us up ever since we got together. You two have been close, and it's Scarlett, I don't doubt that she would try anything."

It had been a long day, you had spent most of the day helping fix around the run down school you’d been forced to live in by the present situation. You were tired and your hands hurt, you’d been with Eugene for most of the patrol and he wasn’t exactly the most physically gifted so you ended up doing most of the heavy lifting.

You make your way to your shared room with Lawrence, your boyfriend of a few weeks. Originally you had bunked with Judy but after your relationship with the glass-wearing leader had been established you moved in with him to his classroom.

When you arrived, the brunette was nowhere to be seen so you guessed he must still be patrolling with Ethan and Zion— you sit down in the makeshift bed you two shared and stare out the window, it wasn’t exactly dangerous to go patrolling at night but that didn’t ease your worries for the trio.

Sure, you were inside school grounds surrounded by a, surprisingly sturdy, gate but that didn’t mean it was impenetrable. A huge fear you’d had ever since joining the survivors was the gate suddenly giving out on you; not that you’d tell anyone, you didn’t want to worry anyone with your fears.

You look around the room and at the clock, it was almost 11PM, it was later than you thought… you shake your head, Lawrence was fine. He was two of the strongest people you knew and he was smart— if there was someone you were certain would make it out alive out of this it was him.

You rub your hands, it was starting to get cold— winter was coming soon and the temperatures were lowering and no matter how hard you tried, the heating system in the school was completely useless. Even after looting countless stores you’d only found so many clothes for winter.

You change out of your daily wear into more comfortable clothes and slip into the bed, thick blankets you’d borrowed from rundown stores back during the summer heat had proven more useful than Scarlett had originally argued.

You slowly felt yourself drift off to sleep when you heard the sliding door open followed by the sound of shoes being removed, you could hear Lawrence shake off his jacket and ready himself to bed as quietly as he could in an attempt to not wake you up. You hear more shuffling around before the makeshift mattress sinks and you feel a warm body lay besides you.

Your eyes are still closed as you feel his arms snake around your waist before your boyfriend pulls you into his chest.

“I know you’re awake.” He mumbles as he begins to play with your fingers, a habit he’d had since the day you began dating.

“Mhm,” you groan, burying yourself deeper into his chest, “it’s late, dontcha think?”

Your words come out a little slurred, mixed with drowsiness from the hard day of work you’d had— and brown eyes soften at your cuteness, you’d always been such a hard worker, trying to prove your worth to the team and that they hadn’t made a mistake when welcoming you.

“It is,” he hums, “we thought we heard something so we had to check, ended up finding a few cabins with some supplies we had missed… kinda crazy how there’s still so much we don’t know even if we’ve been here for so long.”

“Yeah.” His voice begins to lull you into a nice sleep, whenever you were with Lawrence it wasn’t hard to feel relaxed and safe— even in the middle of a zombie apocalypse when you’re with him it feels like you’re going to make it, like there’s a horizon and a future waiting for you and him.

“I’m happy,” brown eyes flutter shut, a soft smiling finds its way onto his cheeks, “I’m happy I found you… I don’t know what I’d done, where I’d be right now if it weren’t for you.”

He’d go crazy, he thinks to himself, in such a short amount of time you’d managed to ground him and become the source of peace in his hectic day. He might be filling in a leader-like role right now but you, he smiles wider at the thought, you’re what’s keeping him and this very group together. You had no idea how much you meant to him, and he planned on making you know everyday of his life from now onwards.

His thoughts go back to the poster he’d found earlier and he’s now sure of what he has to do to ensure a safe future with you. He won’t hesitate anymore, if he wants to live a perfect life with you, he can’t continue stalling the inevitable.

He opens his eyes slowly, without his glasses things look a little blurred, but that’s okay - he muses - because he can still see how beautiful you are under the soft moonlight, the way it illuminates your face and highlights your cheeks. He feels himself falling in love with you all over again.

“I’ll protect you,” a slightly calloused hand starts caressing your face, “no matter what.”

It’s a promise, he thinks to himself, he better get some sleep now; tomorrow will be a big day.

“A very big day indeed…”

Lawrence’s large and unusually soft hands graze your body gently, as he leaves a trail of fluttering, butterfly kisses down your neck. He chuckles against your neck and quickly pulls away, his chestnut orbs grazing you flushed expression, barely visible in the darkened room, only silvery moon rays peeking through the blinds.

“You’re so beautiful.”

He mumbles, a small smile gracing his face. He shifts your position, so that your body is flush against his. He places a few soft kisses on your lips, but the neediness is apparent when he returns to your neck, slowly moving down lower. Lawrence reaches you thighs, his dishevelled hair tickling slightly as he nibbles and kisses the soft skin. He returns to hover above you, eyes flickering with a lustful gaze. The male’s hands slowly make their way down to your bottoms, gripping the material tightly, ready to remove them.

“Lawrence…”

You mumble, and he turns his attention back to your face.

“Mmh?”

You gently remove his hands, and he smiles sweetly, moving off of you. Instead, he settles next to you, pulling you against his chest. “Sorry, I should have asked.”

He says, running his fingers through your hair. One of the small affections he absolutely loved to do.

Leaning into his touch, you close your eyes, the pleasant tingling spreading across your head.

“It’s okay, I just… want to lay here, with you.”

The corner of his lips curl to form a small but sweet smile, and he places a soft kiss against your forehead.

“Whatever you want, my love.”
