(I'm not a native speaker)

So I just wanted to make something clear about Horimiya and to answer people who think Hori and Miyamura's relationship is toxic. First you should make a difference between funny moments and serious moments. If you'd do that you'd realise Hori never be violent with Miyamura in serious moment and neither is Miyamura with Hori. They both respect each other as much as possible wich is remarkable with their personnality. Then you should understand better they are in the mid of adolescence and imo it's normal they make mistakes and feel insecure abt some things. they learn to know their own body, their preferences, their ways to love and how they want to be loved. I find those particularities beautiful and it makes the characters more human (all the characters not just Hori and Miyamura). For example when Hori wants miyamura to get mad at her she is just discovering new fantasms and I don't think it's that weird to like the gap between the cute Miyamura and the cold one. Plus she knows well Miyamura wouldn't go too far. It makes the manga funny and when you don't understand this type of humour it's okay but you should just stop reading/watching bc it'll just make you uncomfortable all along. Notice again these moments aren't mixed with their serious fight, otherwise it'd be a problematic manga.

Then I'll add sth to people who invalidate Hori's feelings and insecurity. It is also part of the adolescence they are experimenting. Of course we all know it's okay to not wear make up at home but Hori just doesn't want her classmates to discover it and to see her weaknesses. She just show them to Miyamura and this is also beautiful. I think Miyamura overcame most of his insecurities when he cut his hair meanwhile Hori had a lot of trouble dealing with them. For example when she tries to act cute while watching a horror movie or when she tries to lose weight to be lighter than her bf. It is so painful to see that you can't say Miyamura's issues are more serious than hori's and invalidate hers. They all have issues and none of them is to put apart. At the end of the day they deal with those insecurities all over the manga (that's why I think you should read it bc the anime is good but it seems rushed so u can't understand Hori's feelings well) and they found a way to overcome those. Just bc we don't see Hori's thoughts that much doesn't mean she feels okay.

And to end this long post I'd say Hori isn't against Miyamura's bisexuality (yes he is bi I mean... yes). She is jealous of girls who come close to Miyamura as much as boys and I think it's a way to be inclusive?? She wouldn't be okay with Sawada liking her if she was homophobic I guess...
