if we’re talking editing in general i started messing around with photoshop when i was 13 i think, but just sims edits idk i just stumbled upon simblr while looking for cc and realized people were doing cool stuff on here so i started doing the same

sometimes music, but most of the time either podcasts or whatever is on my watch later playlist on youtube

Okay I know this isn't the first get to know the artist tag or anything of the sort but I wanted to be weird and get to know my friends weirdly in-depth so here we go. (copy & paste version will be linked right here)

1.) Do you prefer to be referred to by your name or blog name?

I really don't care lol, I know "morgyn ember is a gender fluid daddy" is a mouthful so I mostly just go by Izzy lol

2.) Where are you from?

Original, technically speaking, New Mexico, but I live in the PSW now, and I've lived in pretty much every other state in between (I know diversity loss, I'm American 😐 but technically a win because I'm mixed racial??)

3.) Do you have pets? 👀

I do!!! Two dogs! They are my life!

4.) Tell us about your "dream".

I have a lot of dreams honestly, but the two I'm working the hardest towards are my dream of being a published author and my dream of being a musician. I don't necessarily want to be a world renowned author, or selling out arenas. I just want to be able to make a tiny difference in the world with my art, and I guess that's the dream.

5.) Aside from art, what are your hobbies?

This kind of counts as art as well, but I'm a make up artist and body painter! I'm very out of practice just because I have no time, but it's one of my favorite things to do! (I also play guitar, bass, and sing, but that's kind of more than a hobby)

6. )Does anyone irl know about your blog?

Good God no 😅 I just let my brain puke all over my blog so for as long as I can I will keep it from everyone lol. I mean my mom knows it exists, but won't seek it out.

7.)Do you know anyone from your blog irl?

Sadly no :( I mean yea? Like we're friends but we haven't met in person? I don't know if that counts and I literally wrote this omg

8.) What are some fun facts about you?

I'm ambidextrous! I also have synesthesia, which for me means I experience color with sound! I'm crossing this one out because I don't want to seem brag-gy but I also graduated high school at fifteen. Class of twenty-gay-teen where you at!!!!!!

9.) What's your day job?

Well, recently I've started working as writer for @simmedup magazine, check us out if you haven't already! But my "day job" is mostly writing, I'm also a caretaker!

10.) Do you have a celebrity look alike?

Evidently Gerard Way? Like it's become such an on running joke in my family and friend group, and I seriously get stopped all the time. I personally don't see it, but apparently it's there 😅 also when my hair was short (and dyed) I got told I looked like Patrick Stump a lot??? I've just got a punk thing about me lmao

11.) What's your aesthetic?

A mix between a 12 year old emo boy, and your eccentric lesbian aunt.

12.) What kind of artist are you?

I'm mostly an editor and digital artist! But like I said I'm also a body painter and make up artist!

13.) How did you get into your form of art?

I got into editing because I can not draw people to save my fucking life, seriously if there was a gun to my head and the only thing saving me was to be able to draw a portraits, I would be fucked. Basically I wanted to be able to have cute little photos of my characters and I really loved how they were coming out as sims so!! Yeah!!

14.) What do you watch/listen/read/anything else while you create?

Okay, I go through phases! So, I used to strictly watch Mythbusters while editing, and then I moved over to YouTube and got really into this one YouTuber FakeGamerGirl so I've been watching her videos while editing lol, but I'm sure it will change again.

15.) What is your favorite of your own creations so far?

Definitely a tie between this one 🌐 and this one 🌐

16.) How would you describe your art style?

I would like to say comic book gothic, but it changes so often and I like to play around so it fluctuates wildly!

17.) What is more satisfying to you coloring or outlining?

Outlining, I suck at coloring 😭 but I love shading

19.) What character from any media form do you most identify with?

Ummmmm I think maybe Toph Beifong? She's really the only one coming to mind lol mostly cause I'm a smart ass though #lettophbeifongsayfuck

This is a bit long so i’m just gonna...

1.) Do you prefer to be referred to by your name or blog name? Both are fine! I don’t care much about what people refer to me as in general and have had someone on here call me lily once

2.) Where are you from? I won’t say exact, but I live in the middle of USA (I can’t wait to move-)

3.) Do you have pets? 👀 Yes! 3 dogs and 2 cats, tho only one cat is truly “mine”

4.) Tell us about your “dream”. uhh like where I want to be in life? what I want to do? um I’m still working on the exact job title, but I wish to do research at a natural history/science museum (sorta like archives or collections manager, but neither of those are quite right i think). Otherwise, I just hope to adopt and even foster kids cause my life would not be complete without little ones :3 (spouse/partner optional lol)

5.) Aside from art, what are your hobbies? Randomly researching things that grasp my attention, games...lots of games, reading, watching tv, coloring (wait does that count as art-), uhhh spacing out

6. )Does anyone irl know about your blog? yeah, but mostly just know about, not like see my posts i guess

7.)Do you know anyone from your blog irl? not outside of just chatting on discord

8.) What are some fun facts about you? I’ve had some poems published before (it was with entering a poetry contest), I have surprisingly good balance, my brain is not properly awake/functioning until 10am which has led to me almost using soap as toothpaste a few times too many, I have a birthmark on my finger (bonus: it sorta changes color/how noticeable it is depending on how hot or cold I am lol, i call it a mini thermometer cause of this), apparently Lion King was my Disney movie obsession as a kid...oh and I have a certificate in cryptozoology lolz

9.) What’s your day job? i work as a private nanny/glorified babysitter (i don’t live with them or drive but work regular hours through week and as needed; even join the occasional vacation with them)

10.) Do you have a celebrity look alike? i don’t think so; a girl in high school once said I look like Cameron Diaz tho-

11.) What’s your aesthetic? for my blog I think it’s becoming like dark academia meets cottage core?? idk for myself...who knows

13.) How did you get into your form of art? if we’re looking at sims, uhhh well I just happened to learn about cc one day, then happened upon simblr, saw edits, and thought I’d give a try cause I can’t draw but I need a creative outlet so this worked for me

14.) What do you watch/listen/read/anything else while you create? if I do anything, its listen to music; music is generally random based on what I feel like but more recently its been 2d anime groups (idolish7, hypnosis mic, etc)

Iori is a fellow aquarius who hides his interests and agonizes over past slipups even a year later, others have legit moved on but he’s still stuck on it (that was true moment I was like “omg you are aquarius” lol cause yeah meee). Sogo i heavily relate to as well cause he’s,,,very nice and hides his own feelings, putting others before himself (but when right buttons get pushed, he can be scary lol) so yeah, those two

20.) If you were on the run, what would you change your name to? I’ve never thought of this...no clue

21.) Have you ever or do you want to change blog names? I have changed names, yes; I used to be silverine-sims but after a time i didn’t ~vibe~ with it

Depends which one but let’s say the biggest is to be able to live my life with my man, some animals, a little farm maybe and write my books ...

5.) Aside from art, what are your hobbies?

Cooking ! I love to bake and prepare nice dinners for my friends and loved ones. I even get better at bakery so this is usually one of the rare thing I’m proud of and want to develop ^^ I also dance and sing but this artistic ... I think most of my hobbies are art related ...

6. )Does anyone irl know about your blog?

Yep ^^ A lot of people actually. I don’t mind speaking about it, I’m even a bit proud thanks to you all ! I didn’t receive any bad critic or bad joke about that by the way and people are usually impressed by what I do (even though it’s nothing compared to you all) so that’s comforting :)

I still don’t know if I’m ready to be fully non binary

For the next 3 or 6 months I’m kind of a counselor ? I don’t know what the correct words are but I give advices to small entrepreneurs. What I’ll do in 6 months though ? Still don’t know ...

I don’t like to think so as to me, everyone is unique but every time a brown eyes/curly hair becomes famous, people say I look like him ... Last time it was straight people who said I look like John fucking Snow and the gays said I look like Xavier Dolan, who are just both curly brown hair and eyes men ^^”

I don’t really know ... Let’s say I like to tell dark stories in a colourfull world ? I never really thought deep about that to be honest

12.) What kind of artist are you?

An evolving one ? I’m always learning and evolving in my personnal life and so does is my art. I like to do a lot of different things even though that means taking more time to finish things. I try to be as much inclusive and feminist as I can/want without fearing other people’s judgment just because it’s also the kind of art I want to see in general.

13.) How did you get into your form of art?

I started to write at 16 after spending a night at my grandmother’s in which we spoke a lot. She told me a lot about her life and how she survived ww2 as a child and she highly suggest me to start writing. It took a while though but it grows surely inside my mind. I never stopped writing since.

For sims story, well it’s pretty simple. As I don’t know how to create cc yet and wanted to be a part of the community I thaught the best was to start storytelling. After all, I have a lot of stories in mind and I wanted to see how it would look as sims story so why not create it instead of waiting for someone else to tell it?

14.) What do you watch/listen/read/anything else while you create?

A lot of things !!! I’m watching Orange is the new black as I’m writing for instance ! As I live with my boyfriend and we have one room, we watch TV while I work on sims stories. We don’t even have a desk or a special room for that so I usually play/write/edit with my laptop on my legs ... Not the best comfort I can assure you

15.) What is your favorite of your own creations so far?

I’m more and more happier with what I do with Destiny Harbour these days ^^ I’m still working on season 2 and I really can’t wait to show you all the plots I’ve prepared . I’m also prepapring a little something for Simblreen I think . I need to stop my brain from having ideas someday ^^”

16.) How would you describe your art style?

I don’t know ... Here I write dark sims stories I guess. I like to play with different style, different editing to fit a proper story.I love to mix darkness and colourfull things to include some kind of light in those stories.

17.) What is more satisfying to you coloring or outlining?

Colouring for sure.

Also, I including a lot of little details about me in the pics. Some stuff I like, my current look ... Try to find everything :p

Answers below, cause uh LONG and stuff.

~Questions~ 1.) Do you prefer to be referred to by your name or blog name? Either! I totally don’t mind. You can call me Beloved, Poison, Rose, or even V. (V is part of my true first name but I prefer my middle one of Rose) but yeah call me Bitch if you wanna, I’ll answer to ALMOST anything. I’m really not bothered. lol

2.) Where are you from? England! Give me tea or give me death! XD No I’d actually prefer coffee but shhhhhh don’t tell the other Brits that, they’ll kick me out! :D

3.) Do you have pets? 👀 Yup! Just the one currently. My Burmese/Korat mix, SilverBullet or just Bullet.

4.) Tell us about your “dream”. Uhhhh honestly it’s just to have a small house, a couple of Staffordshire Bull Terriers (English Staffies) and live happily with my partner and our spawnling. I don’t have big dreams, just Staffy sized ones. lol

5.) Aside from art, what are your hobbies? Well I don’t really do ART as such but most of my hobbies are artistic in nature I guess? Photography, collecting Asian Ball Jointed Dolls and 1/6th Action Figures/Poseble figures, Writing (both original stories and fanfiction sometimes), anything to do with computers.

6. )Does anyone irl know about your blog? Sure. My partner, my spawnling, I don’t really share it with anyone else because they just wouldn’t be interested/understand but that’s fine with me!

7.)Do you know anyone from your blog irl? Sadly not. There are some truly awesome people that I would love to know irl if that were ever possible though.

What are some fun facts about you? uhhhh I mostly only have things I’ve already shared a long time ago or on my old blog but um... trained car mechanic, also trained child minder, I was 16 when I got my first tattoo (yes this IS illegal, behave kids don’t be a dumbass like me! seriously DON’T EVER do this!) I have 8 piercings and I want more, I’m dyslexic and also slightly ambidextrous and I have monkey feet as my partner calls them. I’m fairly good at picking things up with my feet. lol

9.) What’s your day job? Currently I uh... actually don’t have one. I’m watching over my partner who’s mentally unwell and unable to work himself.

10.) Do you have a celebrity look alike? Nope. Don’t think so. I kinda used to get compared to Lucy Lawless aka Xena the Warrior Princess when I was younger and honestly I am DOWN with that! (though I know I never actually looked anything like her, my mum kinda did but I look more like my dad soooo lol)

11.) What’s your aesthetic? Uh I’ve always been told it’s a little bit goth, a little bit punk, a whole lot of black, silver and resting witch face. ;)

12.) What kind of artist are you? Digital and an editor? idk honestly, like I use photoshop and my digital drawing pad to make small changes to my photography/sims pics/colour peoples linearts when they let me but does that make me an actual artist of any kind? lol But also idk does writing count? It’s a form of art in a way so...

13.) How did you get into your form of art? Since it’s mostly all photography or to do with photography (taking sims pics kinda counts as that really) uh basically my sister and brother-in-law are both heavily into photography and so was my father-in-law (RIP Dad <3) and I just sorta picked it up from all of them? I learned a few things and just picked up the bug and then it evolved into digital editing and then attempting digital art/colouring and just yeah it all spiraled into whatever this is. as for the writing, well I watched Inuyasha and Naruto a long, long time ago and fell in love with the characters and stuff and somehow stumbled upon fanfiction and I was like Ooooooooo! I can write shit like this?! and uh I just started getting into various fandoms from there and writing all these stories based on them, the characters from them or just the basic worlds they take place in and so yeah it just went from there.

14.) What do you watch/listen/read/anything else while you create? Usually I have either true crime programs or else fictional crime programs on as background noise. Things I’ve watched a million times before. I need background noise, can’t do silence. OR I have music on. a random playlist filled with a mixture of rock, metal, dance, trance and pop on shuffle usually.

15.) What is your favorite of your own creations so far? Oh damn uh honestly it’s probably a threeway tie between this, this and this I’m rarely actually proud of anything I produce but I usually kinda like it, these ones though, I still adore. 16.) How would you describe your art style? Shit, no idea dude. Like style? who that?! I don’t know her. I basically don’t feel I have a style, not for this anyway. Just, I do whatever style is needed for the pic I’m trying to make. Sorry I honestly have no clue. 17.) What is more satisfying to you coloring or outlining? colouring. For photography: took a lot of depressy walks around my lil town in the country. A friend and I used to walk around taking pictures during our high school breaks too.

For painting/drawing: was always into it tbh. Would draw or find any reason to pick up a thing that can leave a mark and just doodle. Got into painting a lil later in middle school.

Nail art: teeny canvas and it made my man hands look pretty every now and then lol

Hmmm sometimes complete silence tbh. Especially when I paint. I can’t be jamming to songs or I muck up and cry xD mmm but if it’s for simbs or photography I have music 24/7. YouTube videos sometimes if I’m editing something.

Yep, a bitter little four-legged furry companion. I love him and my friend does not, it is an unrequited love. Although traveling is very tiring (yes, I know) I would love to know many places (I already have a mental list lol), to know new cultures! since when you die the only thing you take with you (of course) is what you have lived, what you have experienced, enjoyed, learned in life.

I do not know if it is considered a dream, it is simply something I want to do, but if I do not achieve it, I will simply not feel frustrated

I love playing music, now I am trying to learn to play new instruments, draw, also a few years ago I loved to practice martial arts, they are tough but great! for X reasons I had to leave them, but I hope to get back to them, one day.

Normally (if I am very focused) I listen to quiet instrumental solo music as a LoFi for example. But I like almost all genres of music.

1.) Do you prefer to be referred to by your name or blog name? Just call me Diu, I hate my real name: there were 4 kids with the same name in my elementary classes, that’s a basic af name.

4.) Tell us about your “dream”. Start a freaking webtoon series and receive some recognition, so I can do something I actually like, but I’m too afraid to risk it

5.) Aside from art, what are your hobbies? hmmm, listen to music, come up with ideas, daydream about it. Or I really like hate-read a story (basically read the stuff that irritates me the most, lol), so I can come up with a brand new story idea as an AU, fix-it fanfiction for that story. It’s good for creativity, then I can develop my characters using that idea. Besides, is procrastination a hobby too?

8.) What are some fun facts about you? hmm... I like trash reincarnated villainess manga and manhwa stories recently. The authors just copied some tropes from the other authors to write the stories, so the characters and plots can be shallow (Tropes like black haired Male Lead who is mean to everyone but the Female Lead, reincarnated girl who threw her trauma out of the window or threw her past life memories away quickly and move on for the sake of revenge, zero character development if the FL is badass...) Part of me hate-read the stories, part of me love them as it I’m addicted to them

This painting reflects Of Love And War so well: Lan Chi being dragged to a brand new sh***y life, she is terrified

Webtoon style? I was inspired by True Beauty and Lookism art style. The light source typically come from top right corner of my drawings
