I never found Jaheria’s house in my first play through or even knew it existed. However, I did know about the dialogue with Halsin saying he never had a chance to start a family of his own. But because I never found Jaheria’s house originally, I couldn’t trigger the dialogue with my romanced Tav.

I did find it in my second play through and no one warned me that Halsin looks so SAD when he says this. I’d seen of this statement, but he just looks like he normally does.

I mean this man looks physically pained to talk about it and I was not expecting it. I just let him idle there for a bit to see his expressions and I was met with the saddest faces.

There was even a little lip quiver. I was not expecting this level of detail and sadness when I first came across the cutscene and I went so far as to reload the save to do it again and grab a screen recording.

I’m unfortunately not romancing him in this save so a comfort kiss wasn’t an option, but if I was I’d just spam the kiss option. Someone please comfort this man.
