I would like to think that if Dabi survives everything, settles things with Endeavor, and tries to move on, he will make a somewhat good dad. Hear me out!

His experience with his own dad would, of course, haunt him. At the same time though, it would help him raise a kid who is loved and cared for. He wouldn't put heavy expectations on the kid and would want the kid to be who they want to be. Sure, he would be clumsy at it, and probably annoyed sometimes, but he would never toss them to the side and ignore them. He would try to be kind but would also be a tad bit blunt. That being said, he wouldn't hide things from the kid and would also explain things to him the best he could.

(Yes, I have thought of a story idea where he has a kid. I also have a story idea about Omegaverse DabiDeku having a kid. I am not ashamed!)

Thinking on protestor Artist!Dabi in my DabiDeku AU One Thing Right.

And like… he starts drawing in therapy on advice from his counselor. Just random pictures. He’s good at it and remembers his father burning the drawings he had before.

He’s busy. He needs to train. These are worthless. He’s useless.

The first thing he draws is Izuku. Just smiling. Then it’s Himiko who just got out of the mental health facility she was in. She’s doing better and the picture is of her smiling with her hands full of seeds for birds.

Then it’s his father with bloody hands standing taller then ever.

Then it’s his mother with her eyes covered by a blindfold.

It spirals.

He gets a tattoo apprenticeship because he was doodling in a coffee shop when an artist saw. Said artist also does stuff like tattooing over self harm scars, hate symbols and does tattooing to cover gender affirmation surgeries.

Dabi likes it and he gets really good. He’s happy.

Then Endeavour gets a new billboard and he’s bitter. He rants to Izuku who idly replied with some statistics that would cause issues for Endeavour if they got out.

It’s an idea.

Dabi goes to the billboard and paints them on it. There’s a media outrage but then it turns out they’re TRUE. Endeavour is give a public scolding.

Dabi keeps going. It’s not lists. Sometimes it’s just pictures of heroes doing shitty things. Other times it’s art to make people smile.

He starts destroying hostile architecture when he meets Magne, a homeless trans woman who works as a secretary. She looses her job and Dabi gets her one at the shop.

It just keeps growing and soon, Dabi is known as the Artist, an infamous vandal. He likes it.

Remember those fanfics that used to be on WhatsApp a lot? The "I got transported into X fandom" ones? I really want to write one of them but like

The protag is deku and honestly it makes sense for his character to be like in that situation BC he's a massive fanboy omg this one would definitely be an oops I sneezed and this plot now requires 150k words to do but imagine hes put in canon a little before something super awful goes down like the raid where they rescue eri and he knows what happens so he has to try fix it without being sus but also. He would definitely want the heroes and villians to make peace -plus I'm a sucker for dabideku like come on did U really expect a post from me that's not about them . It could be super cute too like this twenty something year old down on his luck dude gets transported into his favourite anime and his life is turned upside down

If I ever end up writing again and finishing my current wips and fix 'i kissed a supervillain ' I'll write this one next
