The dorklets in...Little Allison's Sleepover I!
Little Allison feels overwhelmed by the mess in her room. She calls her friend Little Theo for help.
Yes, folks, the dorklets are back! Little Allison is a repainted and rehaired Jakks Pacific Juku Couture Kana head on a hybrid body with Spin Master Liv bust, arms, and legs and Obitsu 24 abdomen and upper thighs. Little Theo is a custom sculpted, printed, painted, and wigged resin head on a heavily modified MGA Rainbow High body.
Little Allison is an only child, but she has a big room because she has the dorklets over so often for sleepovers!
Little Allison and Little Theo are both Black, so I wanted to make sure that their wall decor included Black characters. The picture of Pele is by Susan Seddon Boulet. The girl in the phone booth, the one with golden hair, the one in a pastoral scene, and the dreaming astronaut are all by the amazingly talented Geneva B.! The cupcake/street scene is by Little Cake Friends.

On my workbench, I have AG dolls to modify into Anathema Device and the Them from Good Omens, Season 1. Based on the previews from Season 2, I had plans to add Muriel to those plans.
After watching Season 2, I think I won’t be doing that anytime soon. I like the episodes, but she doesn’t just grab my heart like the other characters did.

Fumo plush pattern I made for customs making
This is a pattern I made from scratch and that I use for making my customs. It is based on the v1.5 models. Its the definitive version since I made tests before, as I said its from scratch, I could never sacrifice a legit fumo and bootlegs arent reliable for patterns snatching imo since their quality varies.
This is mainly for hand sewing and fairly beginner friendly. I havent tried on a machine because I dont trust these for such small details so I cant garantee you it will looks good if you assemble it with a cheap machine.
Seam allowances and other guides to match the pieces are included there.
I didnt include more hair pieces like the bangs because it would be too specific and this is a general pattern, not one for making [specific character]. I do these parts from scratch as well. If anyone would like help with hair of a specific character I can help (as long as its a character I know, else it would require me to use more time studying the design).
Make the design of the face before cutting the pattern. Methods I recommand using are: machine embroidery (the best), hand embroidery and heat transfert vinyle (require some skills). Ive made a hand embroidery tutorial a while ago. You can also maybe use the face of an existing fumo but its either very costly if you use a legit, or might not get good results if you use a cheap bootleg.
This PNG should be 1:1 scaled but ive added a square on the corner for good mesures. I dont use foot mesures (and i dont know how to use it) so its only cm sorry.
For any additional question, anyone is free to message me.
Customs ive made using this pattern:
Hand embroidery tutorial I mentionned (not at all lazy to link my post):

My custom Pinkie Pie doll is done!
Her head's from an electronic seapony toy, on a DC-SHG body I modified to give her cartoonish hooves. I also made her jewelry, dress, and little leg cover thingies.
She turned out really cute and I'm very pleased with her!

I made a custom Tintin doll! I used a Chat Noir doll as a base because that's the one petit male doll I could find that was articulated and still affordable. The amazing @bubblekidaesthetics photographed him as seen above!
Details about my process below. Warning for weird doll photos.
His jumper is made out of a pair of baby socks, his plus fours are made from an old tablecloth, his shoes are made from cardstock, his socks from some trainer socks and his trench is made from a pillow case I found on offer during a sale! The shirt is the one item I didn't make, it's a Ken shirt but as a result it's a bit too big for him.
I had to hack Chat Noir's head down with a box cutter because I found the vinyl too tough to pull off, then I sculpted over the remaining head stump with tin foil and a mixture of milliput and green stuff.
I painted him with acrylics for that vintage doll feeling rather than using pastels and MSC - he's orange in the second picture above because I was colour correcting the green putty.
Snowy was made with a My Little Pony, armature wire, tin foil and hot glue!
