Ok, we all know the BIG NEWS of e65, but just hear me out about another, that to me, is just as meaningful moment.
So, we’ve been hearing a little bit about some of the stuff Ashley has been dealing with, and we all know what that kind of situation can do to someone’s self esteem. Well in this moment she was being self deprecating and doubting the action she took. Literally. The whole table was just flooded with encouraging words and sentiments followed up with “YOU’RE AN AMAZING PERSON”.
I 1000% believe that going through this there have been continual texts, sticky notes of positivity and bear hugs with words of support from this group of amazing people to one of their friends going through a rough times. And seeing that played out in game….there are not enough words to express that level of love.
Find yourself a family to raise you up during tough time even when it creeps into a game of DnD.
The year is 2036, Critical Role has reached its 6th campaign. Episode 65 rolls around. Sam Riegel blends into the background despite wearing a tiger onesie.
Go off Ashton. I love everything about that rant, every sentiment in what faith is, it doesn't have to be to the gods, it can be in people, in themselves, in the bonds that bind us to others.
