I have nothing but bad news for y'all

We were supposed to have until April to leave comments, but the cdc has officially ended the 5 day isolation period as of today, March 1st, 2024.

They're saying as long as it's been 24hrs and your symptoms are improving, you're good.

Nothing about covid has changed. Medical professionals are obviously slamming this decision. All this does is make it even more difficult to avoid long covid, because now workers will have to fight for sick days and time off they already barely have just to fucking heal from an organ damaging virus.

Idk what to say for this one.

Tumblr Friends! ProjectN95 is unfortunately closing its doors on December 15th. They've done SO much to provide masks, respirators, PPE to healthcare workers and the public since 2020, and this is honestly such a loss of a non-profit organization. They've helped a lot of people over these years.

I lost a very long holiday post no thanks to Tumblr. Special words to those out there doing their best to protect themselves and others, and the most vulnerable who are disproportionately being impacted by the terrible response, harmful policies and messaging in place or disseminated by officials, media outlets, organizations and institutions.

This time of year is a charged time. For some they are happy, for others triggering and unhappy. There are people for whom this time of year is unremarkable. I hope the holidays, this season, and what it may mean, is the best possible for you and you're okay 💕
