Hi! Do you have a quick rundown for people who are new to the summer fest? I know you've got a lot of planning and stuff for it, so please don't let this be extra pressure I can totally wait until the event starts if that's easier!

Hello!

I absolutely do! We’re introducing several new features this year, so it’s going to be done a tiny bit differently than our previous years.

Let’s crack knuckles!

First off, the Writeblr Summerfest is a free to participate, do as much or as little as you want experience. The goal of the Summerfest is to bring the community together, share information on our stories, and just generally have a really good time! Fanfiction, original writing, DnD characters – it’s all welcome!

Every year, there’s a new theme. This year, I held a poll and the selected theme was haunted house! In the past, that’s only affected the merch (I do stickers each year!) and the blog theme. But this year… It’s going to affect a lot more!

To pair with the theme, there is going to be an over arching story. Several times a month, the story will progress, becoming a large prompt that anyone can take part in. The story will follow the exploits of a very specific haunted house that’s being explored.

Now, you can take any of your characters and have them explore this house. But as an added bonus, @mothersart has volunteered her time and services; she will be drawing Minkie Explorer Character Sheets, blind-bag style, for anyone that would like to purchase them. The character sheets will look a little bit like… THIS ONE … but will be designed to fit the theme of ‘haunted house explorer’. Consider supporting an amazing small artist and commissioning one when it opens up! FYI – the character you commission will be yours to keep fur-ever!

Okay, so! Overarching theme, overarching haunted house prompts to explore! What about beyond that, you’re wondering?

Beyond that, every single day that the Summerfest runs, from the first day of August to the last day of August, four fun games will go up! These games will consist of…

Occasionally, one of these will be subbed out for a Community Event, encouraging you to reblog/comment on other writeblr’s posts, make them gifts, and that sort of thing!

But wait, there’s still more!

Last year, Summerfest Bingo was introduced! The game goes like this: a bingo board matching the theme of the Summerfest (haunted house) will be put up! To get a bingo, you have to scour the Writeblr community, find a post that contains that bingo square’s prompt, comment on it, and reblog it! Keep the link to your reblog!

In our previous iteration of the game, those who completed it just got put on the Bingo Hall of Fame. More rules on how to submit it will be posted at the time of the game. That’s still going to happen! But as an added bonus, if you complete all three board variations, you’re going to get a special prize!

We’re still not done yet! There are two writing contests that you can enter! The first writing contest is free-to-enter, and the top three winners get a variety of prizes from story cover mock-ups to art. The second contest costs a small monetary fee to enter, and has a physical prize that gets mailed to you!

This will also be the second year for Writeblr themed Goodies! Last year, we did small blind bags! I’m still working on figuring out the exact specifics of the Goodies for this year, but it will either be another round of blind bags or Goodies that can be bought via an Etsy shop (it largely depends on how much extra money I can get pulled together for buying the merch tbh).

In short, it’s a free to play, do what you want writing festival, designed to help you share your works and fall in love with other writer’s stories as well, with optional pay-to-play games and merch available, too! I add at least one new event pretty much every year, and spend months putting it together.

During the Summerfest itself, I encourage comments and reblogs, and maintain @writeblrsummerfestreblogs best that I can to help ensure that these comments happen!

I am so excited for this year’s Summerfest!

This is my favorite way to give back to a community that has always been there for me.

The anatomy is a simplified version of my regular commissions, but can be in style A if specified.

I do best with thighs up/knees up so that's my standard. But it can be in full body if the scene requires it or if requested.

Basically I had more time to spend on it. In case you do like to have more rendering while having extra elements, it will cost extra.]

I will not do complicated/detailed drawings. Any backgrounds would most likely be super rough ones with monotone colors or no colors at all. (Remember this is a doodle! Drawn casually; rough and simple.) If, say, the background or little/extra details are a necessary, it would cost extra.

There is no deadline.

I can also do suggestive, NSFW, Grimdark, blood, and gore.

If it's a major nOTP, I can't do it. 😅 (Ask if you're uncertain.)

For NSFW/suggestive: Nothing that depicts the character/s as minors. No incestuous and/or adult X minor themes. No explicit feral or softcore porn feral. There are certain fetishes I can't do like scat, inflation, etc. (Ask if you're uncertain.)

I may draw subjects that makes me uncomfortable if I'm desperate enough for cash that day. But the specifically stated on the last two bullets are always a no.

You must be 18+ if you request NSFW.

No NFT or AI use. No claiming you draw it yourself. No monetizing the doodles. No refunds.

I'll credit you as your ko-fi username by default, but let me know if you like to be credited in a different name or be anonymous.

Ask Box Cleared!!

That's all she wrote guys! My ask box and my draft folder is now officially empty, that was the last request I had! I've had a lot of fun writing them all and hope you all have enjoyed reading. I've made no secret that after the box was emptied, I have plans to take a bit of a break from writing on here to finish up a commission and write some chapters on fics I've kind of been putting off to focus on my writing here. I won't be gone more than a month and I'm not leaving quite yet.

An announcement that the ask box is open again for all new request submissions!

I'll be taking the next couple of days to really take the time and respond to all my dm's (and will do my best to check in and answer them every weekish while on my break) and I'll be working on writing and scheduling posts for an event that will take place while I'm on my break so that hopefully I can jump right back into a full ask box and, upon my return, can start putting out replies and content at a steady pace again! Now, I get the same comments every time I hold an event so making this clear up front...guys, you never send in too many asks during an event. It's never too much for one character or too many asks from the same person. I live for seeing my inbox overflowing and love seeing you guys send stuff in, especially during events because it lets me know you're enjoying the themes and the prompts so please don't be shy during that time!

I love you all, my constant readers! As soon as you see the first event post, announcing what it will be, consider me officially on hiatus but know that it's only temporary and, though I'm really excited to get a chance to work on some passion projects, I'm equally excited to come back and answer all your wonderful requests!

*mostly due to the fact that i'm not highly focused on these drivers so it's tough for me to know things about them and therefore tougher for me to write something that doesn't feel incredibly out of character. you could see it as: i won't write this driver as a main character. they may always end up being bg ships anyways. does likely not have anything to do with my opinion on the ship.

kinks i actively write: anything that comes to mind or is fitting in the context (check the full list right here on my website) kinks i won't write: watersports, scat, fisting, footplay i'm super chill when it comes to kinks and there is a huge amount of kink i've never even considered. please feel free to request anything you'd like to see and i'll happily give it a shot!

iii. how to request a fic

it's very easy! requests go into my askbox! you can request any kink and any ship and i'll let you know whether i will or won't write it. in certain cases, i might refer you to my commissions. however, due to my current situation and the fact that i'm very busy with work and uni, these commissions are closed. fic requests can be fulfilled within weeks but also catch dust in my askbox for years. never hesitate to ask for an update! for more information, check out this page on my website!

iv. where to find my fics

completely finished fics will always be on my ao3. currently, all my fics are archive-locked due to the ai-scraping threat. if you're reading this, please never ever put any author's hard work into a chatbot or ai thingy. that's theft. i put good faith in all readers that you won't do it but never hurts to say it :) in case ao3 is down, you can read the majority of my fics on my website as well.

Lemon Tree Lane

Lizzie doesn’t stop until she’s halfway in the second floor hallway, her heart racing and her tail wrapped tight around her waist. She’s gripping the camera in her paws so tightly that it actually makes them ache.

Nothing comes up after her.

“Come on, Lizzie, pull yourself together. Haven’t even been in here for an hour, and you’re already jumping at shadows.” She forces herself to take a deep breath, though it does very little to calm her down.

The hallway stretches out in the shape of an L. Two doors on the right side. Three on the left. Then it takes a sharp turn to the right; one door at the very end of the hallway before her view stops.

“This is fine. This is fine!” Lizzie’s fur is puffed up. “Every room, that was the deal. Alright. Every room it is.”

She squares her shoulders and proceeds to stay right where she’s at for a good three minutes, unable to pull herself away from the relative safety of pressed-to-the-wall.

When she does, she darts across the narrow passage of worn wood and a thrown out red rug, and into the first door on the right side of the room. Lizzie makes sure to firmly shut the door behind herself, then fishes for the big flashlight in her bag and clicks it on.

The white beam of light arcs through the room; an old smoking room, covered in ancient porcelain dolls, their curls spiderweb caked, with a chaise lounge that has a filthy white sheet over it and a window, lace curtains hung above it, that should peek out over the same stretch of yard that tree had been in.

Hoping for a breath of fresh air, Lizzie hurries over to the window. She balances both her camera and the flashlight on the nearby table, brushes the curtain aside with one paw – and freezes.

Welcome to the seventh day of the Writeblr Summerfest! We have so many amazing things planned for this month, but first, I want to introduce Lizzy! She’s the driving force behind the community selected Haunted House theme for the festival this year!

Now, before we get started, I want you to take a look at Lizzy! She’s the mascot this year! She’s called a minky, and her character sheet was made by the lovely @mothersart! Now, Mother has volunteered her services to do what we’re calling grab bag commissions for anyone that wants their own minky explorer to take part in the events! She currently has THREE OPEN SLOTS.

Here’s a LINK to her commission sheet, but I’ll summarize it for you, too! She has two options.

$10 gets you a total grab-bag surprise minky explorer, you don’t get to customize it but you get to own the character forever onward!

$15 lets you pick a ‘theme’ for the explorer; do you love pastel goth? Cottagecore? Skateboarding? Let her know, and it will be the inspiration for your minky (ps, you still own them)!

While it’s not a requirement, I highly recommend you considering it if you’ve got the spare change laying around! Mother has been a huge help getting things together with the event this year, and her minkies are just absolutely amazing!

Commissions are open again! (5 slots)

I’m going to use ko-fi this time to sell rather than use PayPal. Hopefully that’ll be easier and others don’t have to share direct PayPal info (as PayPal doesn’t allow usernames to hide real/dead names). It also allowed me to organize it a bit more. I tried using Patreon but they only have monthly subscriptions apparently. I also added Terms/Additional info on each. Link here

New this month is if you’re commissioning a Merfolk character you get a 25% discount this month! I’ll let you know the code for ko-fi if you do.

Also I added on kofi but couldn’t edit the pics here that fursonas are allowed as long as they’re not too complex and don’t include N/S/F/W themes (I don’t consider furries itself as that).

PROGRESS POST

(10/4/23)

This is partly for accountability and partly just to get all this out of my head! This last month or two have felt so hectic, getting used to a new work and sleep schedule and all. I'm still not quite there.

If you're curious about what I've been working on and what my plans are in terms of writing and art for the rest of the year, read on. :)

I will say, though, that if you want more of a specific AU or story, the way to get it is by asking questions and leaving comments! Asks and comments remind me about things I'm doing and get me excited about them again! I have these plans, but I also am very good at chasing inspiration to unknown (and sometimes unimportant) corners!

Linked Universe Projects

I've been feeling less motivated to work on LU stuff, but I still plan on at least finishing what I have open, so you can look forward to some of that!

Writing

Disability AU—one small mobility trio fic in the works. A few vague ideas for doing backstory fics.

Council (1931 vampire AU)—this is still the "backburner to backburner" fic, but I do have some fun ideas. I just have been distracted with other things! I think this AU is a lot of fun and I'd love to do more with it. We'll have to see.

The Marvelous Misadventures of Wind and His Merry Band of Maybe-Human Misfits—chapter 7 (out of 9 or so) is in progress. I have it all outlined out, and it's fun to work on, but I have (again) been distracted! This is, I hope, going to be my main December project. It'd be nice to finish before it turns 2 years old next summer. Oops.

I have several other WIPs that aren't very exciting and probably won't see daylight, but they're there if I feel like them

Coloring book—I'm part of the coloring book project! :) I have already finished 1/2 drawings, and they went so well, I'm considering doing more.

Shatterproof manga page—still on my radar! I'm doing the end scene from dazzling diamond danger, and my ambition keeps outgrowing my time.

Fairytale AU—man I've started this Vidow BatB fic literally five times. I have an almost-complete draft sitting at like... 20k?? iirc, but I kind of hate a lot of it. I also like a lot of it. It's a bit difficult for me to work on rewriting something in that situation. Anyway. Another December thing probably.

Fright Fight—I have ideas for every week, but am currently unsure if I want to draw or write for them. Most of my October will be focused on filling these prompts!

Vampire Lords AU—I have strange as severe is this my fate open right now, with a fair amount of material... it just needs to be edited a bit. I do want to keep working on that, I've just... well. Distraction. A common theme. XD I might be feeling another little bite fic coming on, too.

Fright Fight—see above

Fright Fight part 2—I have a few side things to do for this, like making graphics that I haven't quite finished yet. They shouldn't take long, I just gotta do em!

Non-Fandom

Stickers—I am in the process of drawing some stickers! Yay! These are for my work, but also just for me. I want some Halloween stickers. This is a backburner project.

Nanowrimo project—I need to spend some time figuring out a few things to really get going on my princess-verse. I'm going to be doing Nanolympics this year, so hopefully some of their preptober stuff will help!

Hearts Linked Together—my super-cool Linkverse. XD I love my dumb timeline, and all the characters, they're just filler drawings that I haven't had time to continue.

Secret Zelda project—I really really need to do this! I can't say much right now, but it involves a fair amount of work, both writing and art. I think I haven't gotten very far on it yet because I'm intimidated. Stop that.

Zine edits—I worked really really hard on an art piece for a LoZ zine coming up! This week is critique, and I anticipate a few edits later.

By Month

Facebook posts—a lady I know wants to commission pretty quote images to post on her Facebook. I need to reply to her text. And do them.

September

I primarily worked on the fic Blood-Sucker's Guide to High School. I also worked on and submitted one fic and one piece of art to two different zines, which I hope you'll see soon.

October

If you care, you may have noticed I'm not doing Whumptober this year! Part of this is because I'm a bit burned out from the above, and part of it is that the prompts just didn't seem very inspiring to me this year. Maybe that's just my mindset. I haven't been in a very whumpy mood.

I'm planning on filling weekly prompts for @fsfrightfight this month and maybe chipping away at some other fics, in addition to one more zine contribution. I'm also going to be planning for November and doing some scattered art work here and there.

November

NaNoWriMo! I considered skipping this... but I'm feeling really inspired and motivated to do it, especially with October as a break. I'm going to write some original work, and that will be the focus of my November. I'll likely get some other art done, too.

December

I hope to dedicate this month to finishing things up from this year! That means working on "backburner" projects.

Adopts season +CUSTOMS!

Ya girl's got a need for new clothes with 100-120˚F (38-48˚C) dry Summer heat on the horizon, and no sight of employment, so it's adopts time! PayPal/Venmo, and CUSTOMS! (On DA, I will be accepting their on-site currency "Points" as an option, since it is convertible into tangible funds)

Yes, this season, I'll be taking custom adopts orders! Not just within Kirby, but most any fandom or original stuff! [Please know that I retain the right to deny a request if I am uncomfortable with fulfilling it/goes against my policies or morals]

I have a very short stamina for doing custom art for folks, which is why my commissions have been permanently closed. However, I seem to have a little steam left for designing characters, so I'm offering this up as an option! Might do a fusion sheet (totally inspired by my pal JumpyL123 , no shame) too later on in the Summer!

There will be a bit of an unusual thing regarding these customs, however, due to my stamina issue:

I will take only one custom order at a time.

No order batches like commissions, just one at a time.

If there's enough interested parties, I'll set up a wait list, though! <3

The reason being is so then I can focus on that one order, then have it worked upon and finished moments after said order is placed. I'll do as many as I have the energy to in a day (which might be like two or three at max depending on my energy levels/time), and won't take on another order until my current one is finished! My energy is pretty limited, so that's why I'll only take one at a time, because I cannot guarantee I'll always have the energy to do more.

Taking on several orders/requests at once has always overwhelmed me to where I'd get task paralysis and completely shut down from the pressure, so this new style is something I've been trying out for a while now and it seems to be working. I get it done immediately, and there's no pressure with a looming stack of more waiting behind it. It's lame, I know, and it'll require a bit of patience on your guys' end; I just need to take care of myself too in this way ;u;/

This new drawing technique I have allows me to finish art at a very alarmingly fast pace, so I assure it won't be a very long wait depending on requested details! At most a day!

The usual adopt sheets will have either single or multiple custom slots available on top of my pre-made designs! Of course they'll be Kirby focused, but I'm thinking of adding a twist in some of the themes! I'll leave some for you guys to vote on in later Polls! (suggestions are always welcome by the way!! I love to keep a list of 'em and try 'em out!)

BUT YEAH! That is all for now! I'll make a post later with rate and payment options, as well as open status!

If this customs system works out really well, I might consider bringing back my commissions! Those will be much more rare, though, since it takes much more effort/energy for me to make full illustrations. Sketches, mmmm maybe though HMMM

hi! i recently came across your writing, and was absolutely transfixed by the way you can make a narrative flow, and especially how you can make imagery and characters so vivid, even when the reader isn't too familiar with them! I hope it's not too forward to ask whether you are open to commissions, or would consider them in the future?

Hello! First of all, thank you so much for your lovely words! I think the best compliment of all to receive on my writing is an appreciation from people who aren't even familiar with the fandom but still enjoyed it, so I'm genuinely absolutely delighted that you like my work so much!

As far as commissions, I've vaguely considered it a few times in the past and I'm in no way offended by you asking. The issue that it boils down to for me is that the amount of money I would have to charge to make them feel worth it to me is not an amount that I think would feel worth it to anyone to pay unless they're a Renaissance-era rich person collecting pet artists. It would be less of a commission and more of somebody bribing me into it.

I'm quite busy and stressed with medical school, in no acute need of extra money (so all of it would be going toward leisure things and probably my aquariums), and picky about what I write. I would be unwilling to take longer commissions, and zine experience has taught me that when mods were nitpicky with what they wanted me to write, the quality of my writing just got worse, to the point that there are a few zine fics I will likely never post. This is actually why I'm not looking for zine positions anymore!

So I won't open commissions officially, but if someone wants to bribe me with an offer of like $200+ for an approximately zine-length-or-slightly-longer fic that I may still say "no" to if we can't find a prompt we are both into, have at it!

Two last points:

I'm more likely to say yes and the fic is more likely to come out longer if it's NSFW, and/or for a character and emotional theme that I'm already invested in.

I have gotten paid significantly more than that to write zine fic on multiple occasions, to give you a frame of reference.

Lemon Tree Lane

The hallway leads into a small living room, with so much dust in the air that it sends Lizzie’s nose into a twitching frenzy. She scrubs at it with one paw, tries to reassure herself that this is worth it. This is all going to be totally worth it.

Even if it’s creepy in a big kind of way; in the kind of way that has the furniture in the room covered with white sheets, right down to what she really, really hopes is a stranding lamp in the far corner of the room, wedged between the wall and a dusty sheet covered arm chair; in the kind of way that has a big old stag head mounted on the wall above the crumbling brick fireplace.

She holds up her camera and gets ready to start talking about the story that goes along with this living room, but the sound of someone giggling interrupts that. Every piece of fur on Lizzie’s body stands on end and her joints lock up. She couldn’t turn around to look back into the hallway if someone had a gun to her head.

It’s not there, Lizzie tries to tell herself, even though she can hear the soft slide of paws over wooden floor, even though she knows this house is really, really haunted. The stories are true. They are. They are!

Lizzie curls her tail tightly around her waist. It’s too little, too late. A single paw-tip taps her oh so lightly on the shoulder.

She screams and spins around, tail fluffed up, back pedaling so fast that she trips over the ugly green rug on the floor and goes down hard on her rear.

There’s no one there.

The living room is totally empty.

I’m looking to write Klaus Hargreeves from the Umbrella Academy against a variety of canon, OC or crossover characters.

Klaus/Diego

- Open to anything with these two, canon divergent through to AU’s. 60’s story where they land together and need to make a life of their own? Pushing Daisies AU, with Detective Diego working with Klaus to solve murders, pre-S1 story where they stayed close… Anything and everything.

Klaus/Ben

- Open to lovely canon Ben or a darker Sparrow Ben, depending on what you feel up for writing! Twisting the story to where Ben doesn’t die? 60’s story where they do something other than starting a cult? Post S2 tale where Ben is returned to life and suddenly has to deal with feelings for Klaus / being back in the land of the living. AU’s aplenty. Give me your thoughts!

Klaus/Male OC

- I love those morally grey/dark characters who fall in love and turn on what they know. The ‘hates everyone but you’ vibe. I’m not really looking for a sunshine and rainbows story. That said, I can enjoy some fluffy scenes too!

- Maybe a commission operative sent undercover (like Lila) to monitor Klaus - he’s present in the 60’s or the Present (S1). Or perhaps another one of the powered kids who wasn’t adopted by Reginald but he was instead raised within another organisation (think HYDRA in the MCU). Perhaps even someone completely outside of Academy life - a mobster that Klaus ends up involved with during his time on the streets, he’s deadly and yet enchanted by Klaus.

- You get the vibe? Awesome! Come at me with the characters you think will fit. Let’s write something dark and angsty.

Klaus/Crossover character

(Open to a variety of thoughts here, I’ll list my own ideas, but please feel free to come at me with any character you feel could fit in with Klaus.)

- Klaus/Bucky Barnes, where Klaus goes back in time to WW2 instead of Vietnam and he meets James Buchanan Barnes. They fall in love. Bucky dies. Klaus goes home. Meanwhile MCU timeline carries on as normal to where Bucky is freed from HYDRA control, reads about the Umbrella Academy… Lots of angst, lots of drama. Let’s figure something out.

- Klaus/Steve Rogers, similar concept to above.

- Klaus/Daryl Dixon, where the apocalypse is the zombie apocalypse and The Walking Dead meets The Umbrella Academy. I have a more solid idea for this in my mind, but I would love to hear your thoughts on this concept too.

- Klaus/Rick Grimes, same as above.

- Once again, bring me your own thoughts! Not just from the MCU or TWD. I am open to any fandoms, including ones I am not in but that I am more than happy to research so long as you come with fairly extensive thoughts on how YC would mesh with Klaus!

Me: I’m 21+. I’m experienced and literate and more than comfortable with multi-para through to novella style roleplays. I am angst friendly, smut friendly and don’t have any real limits so I am fine with covering dark themes. I consider myself semi-regular and would like someone who feels the same, as I lose my muse if I am left waiting days at a time for a response. I’m off work now until the Winter Season so i’d love to match with someone available-ish!

I love writing side characters and would adore someone who feels the same - happy bringing in other Hargreeves siblings, other characters and I’d be down to help out with potential OC’s involved with your main or other side characters in crossover pairings. Have you ever considered taking a collection via ko-fi or something to commission some of your stories into digital comics?

I am flattered that you and potentially others regard my posts highly enough to think they are worth 'monetizing' to some degree. For the past two years now, this blog has been a wonderfully rewarding and fulfilling side to my life in the Cats fandom. I appreciate everyone and anyone who has interacted, so as always thanks to those who do. As mentioned before, this blog is for others as much as it is for me some days.

I have never considered taking commissions for anything I write if that is what you mean. It is not something I am necessarily averse to, but this blog has never had any intention of being a platform for 'selling' anything in all fairness. If you meant that I could write something as a backing theme / to give a story for someone else's comic or provide inspiration for a comic someone makes based off of any given post, again I have never considered that. I certainly would not be doing any of the artwork, but I would be interested in seeing the final outcome. In the end, I will leave my words to paint mental pictures in the minds of others because I am no artist. If one of my posts or ideas inspires some form of art, that may be one of the greater rewards for this blog.

I will put it this way, taking commissions present challenges that I am not sure I am willing to accept now (or potentially ever). Most importantly would be that I am not sure I could write something worthwhile about a character / ship that I personally do not care enough about. My fic-like posts come from my own passion for certain characters and ships, and it could / would be difficult for me to apply that same enthusiasm to others outside of that. There is always potential that I could produce a fic that is deemed worthy enough for a pairing or ship outside of my usual focus, but I think it would be harder. As an extention to this, I would need to have a concrete idea provided to me that I am on board with to initiate any ficlet. Either that, or relative free reign to write what I want. As everything to do with lust is so personally subjective, there is certainly a potentially for me and someone else to have differing desires for how a fic would turn out. I would not be very open to having my work rejected due to that, particularly if someone chose to seek me out to write it. With this, the openess for being made to closely follow someone's vision that does not align with my own would make it difficult. In the end I feel that something akin to that would not happen anyway, as others seem receptive enough to my posts for that likely to not be an issue.

Secondly, taking a commission presents a proverbial pressure / time limit to what I have to write. While I love this blog dearly, it obviously takes a backseat to my job and more primary focuses / responsibilities in life. I do not want someone to be left waiting for me to finish up / complete a ficlet for a long time once they have paid for it. That would be a sort of scenario I would actively try to avoid. Even if it is made clear that there is no turn time around guarantee, I still would not find it to be optimal. Sometimes it takes me a few days, other times weeks depending on my schedule.

Thirdly, in the nicest possible way, I am not in need of the arguably small and irregular funds generated from something like this. Would it be nice to get a little something for writing what I do? Absolutely, especially since I do put in inordinate amounts if time into the longer posts, but in the end that is not what this blog is about. Plus, I would not even know where to start in regards to pricing or anything. The value I put into my time would be much more than what I would end up charging too, but that is neither here nor there. The longer posts I make are self-serving first and foremost, so I do not mind if it takes a long time to get one out or if it is not as smooth as it could be because I have no one to answer to aside from myself.

Anyway with all that being said, do not let the slight negativity of the above dictate or discourage you from anything. If someone has a request or feels compelled for me to write something for them, send this blog a DM and we can discuss it. If I am willing or able, I may take it on. Probably for free to be honest. You never know.
