Do you think there's any elements of vampirism that the Mikaelsons sold as being quintessential and a norm of being a vampire that was actually just a side effect of their specific experiences with early vampirism. Like maybe they try to sell that vampires don't need sleep, they're superior to humans but that's because they couldn't sleep while on the run from Mikael constant diligence was expected of them. Vampires can go days between feeds if they wished but in reality they couldn't always find someone to feed on while on the run at least not without alerting Mikael etc. etc. That lil speech Rebekah gives Elena about vampires being a predatory species just screams rehearsed, a story they sell to newbie vampires that also helps dispel they're own guilt
#TVDu#The Mikaelsons#idk the concept of being the first of your species and having to learn everything through trial and error and then having to explain to#others?? particularly when your case of vampirism isnt the same as theirs which they likely only would have realised by accidentally or#intentionally harming/killing baby vampires through that same trial and error#like im sure theres plenty of things that they consider to be part of being a vampire that is specific to their situation like#'love is a vampires greatest weakness' im sure thats not a conclusion that all vampires would naturally come to definitely some wouldve com#to a similar conclusion but i can imagine the mikaelsons trying to convince younger vampires that caring about others is dangerous and#theyre predators but they cant afford to care because mikael will destroy everything they care about#and the limits theyve discovered about vampirism that only came about from being on the run and likely most would never naturally encounter#those limits themselves most vampires have probably never gotten to the edge of dissication they dont want to risk it they get hungry they#feed simply as that they probably dont know how long they can run without stopping whilst the mikaelsons are probably very blase cavalier#about it 'oh well just run to france its easier' o.o like what? it probably wouldnt occur to must vampires esp the newer ones that have had#no ancient vampire influence in their life to tell them what is and isnt the norm for vampires katherine the salvatores were never coached#on being vampires but heres rose like the mikaelsons are the oldest vampires around and shes got all this lore and history#i just wanna know what the mikaelsons might have included in that particularly when they were newer and probably trying to seem#more important and grandiose than they were esp given their collective superiority complexes#no idea if im explaining this clearly its so clear in my head but wording it is hard

Haiii! I love your blog so much and I'm not sure if this has been requested or not?? Could I request Childe, Cyno and perhaps Ayato with a darling that quickly develops Stockholm Syndrome? QvQ;
Their darling probably tried to escape once, but only midway stopped herself and the moment she notices them, she runs back and apologies repeatedly? Earlier she was mortified with her situation, but now she fully submit. Their darling probably clings onto them sometimes, giving them a form of affection even if this relationship is extremely harmful.
Maybe their darling would even go as far as to defend//protect them if they're given the opportunity to even talk to others and they suspect things.
I hope this isnt a lot!
𓏲 ˖. pairing. . . cyno x reader, childe x reader
𓏲 ˖. summary. . . darling escapes without realizing they have stockholm syndrome
𓏲 ˖. warnings. . . general yandere themes, stockholm syndrome, punishments, descriptions of injuries (not graphic)
𓏲 ˖. warnings. . . i’m so sorry, but i couldn’t think of a way to do this for ayato so i decided not to include him . i hope that’s okay!
Tumblr media
cyno is pissed when he comes home to find you gone, and it takes every ounce of self restraint in him to not flip the fuck out. he breathes slow and heavy as he looks in every possible place you could be, thoroughly making sure that you really aren’t there—and when he comes to the conclusion that you aren’t, he angrily storms out of the house to go look for you. he almost missed you, your frame hidden well behind a crate in front of the house, but he couldn’t have missed the weak cry that left your lips as he stormed by. he was honestly surprised when you tightly grabbed the fabric on his waist, crying as you murmured how sorry you were for trying to escape.
scenario ;
“what the fuck were you thinking?” he practically growled as he bent down to pick you up. you bite your lip and turn away from him, embarrassed by the whole situation, but you still cling to him despite how bad you’re feeling.
“i’m so sorry, please forgive me. i’ll never run away again.” you sob, shoving your face into his chest. cyno doesn’t say anything, but you can tell he’s angry because of how tightly he’s holding you against him. you’re sure there will be faint bruises where his fingers are later on, but you don’t really mind. you’re just happy to be back with him.
after running away, a group a eremites followed you until they had you cornered. all you could think in the moment was how scared you were, and that you wished cyno was there to protect you, because you knew he would. it made you sick to think about those things—you didn’t want to want him, you didn’t want to depend on him. you were lucky enough that you could run away from the eremites before they could catch you, and subconsciously you found yourself back at cyno’s house. you couldn’t help but cry as you realized the kind of situation your gotten yourself into.
“yeah, you fucking won’t. not after i’m done with you.” your lip quivers at the thought of what he might do to you, but you nestle further into him and try not to think too much about it for now—instead focusing on how warm and comfortable he’s making you feel in his arms.
Tumblr media
childe panics when he realizes you’re not in your room anymore, instead probably deep into the snowy woods of snezhnya by now. his first instinct is to massacre all the fatui guards that let you escape, but when he realizes how dangerous it is for you to be out all alone, he quickly abandons the thought for the time being to go find you—and when he does, his heart nearly stops. you’re curled in the snow, breathe shaking and ragged as you shiver uncontrollably from the incessant coldness against your skin. he thought you were dead at first, and you might as well have been. he doesn’t hesitate to take your limp body into his arms, wrapping his fur coat around you tightly before taking you home.
scenario ;
you didn’t expect to wake up surrounded in warmth—really, you didn’t expect to wake up at all. after running away you quickly realized just how bad of an idea it was. you missed the warmth and comfort of childe’s house, as much as you hated to admit it. you desperately wanted to be tucked in his arms again where you were safe from the sharp biting winds and cool pricks of snow—in his arms where you were meant to be.
you did try to go back before he noticed, but you failed to realize just how bad the storm had gotten, and you quickly got lost. it was only so long before you’d collapsed in the snow, wrapping your arms tightly around your shivering body, trying to cling to the last bits of warmth you had left. you could barely feel anything as you passed out, your last thought being how you regretted ever leaving childe’s mansion.
the last thing you’d expected was to wake up wrapped in blankets near a fire, tucked tightly into childe’s side. at best, you thought that childe would’ve thrown you in a cell and kept you there for who knows how long to punish you for running away. but this was an outcome you wouldn’t dare complain about, because this was way better than all the horrible ways you could’ve died or been punished.
you grabbed his thick jacket tightly and nuzzled further into his warm body, the chill from earlier still lingering faintly. biting your lip you mustered up the courage to whisper an apology—one barely audible, but you knew childe heard when he hummed and wrapped another blanket around you.
maybe you’d be punished later, but right now you couldn’t help but enjoy the warmth childe provided you.

I am on the feanorians side of the silmaril debate and do see Dior and elwing as thieves. And I hope you dont see this as an attack i just want to explain my reasoning for the way i see it. But to me at least the stealing of the ships is an entirely seperate thing that happened, I know it happened because the silmarils got stolen in the first place. But it has nothing to do with the Dior and elwing part of the silmaril story. And thats why I dont bring up the stealing of the ships when talking about this
And I feel like Dior and elwing are thieves because they have the feanorians most treasured family heirloom and are refusing to give it back to them. And I think calling them thieves isnt exactly right because they didnt steal it from the feanorians and luthien and beren didnt either but it is wrong of them to not give it back. And the feanorians did first write letters asking to be given the silmaril back. The feanorians were wrong in kinslaying to try and get it back, but I do understand how they got to the conclusion to do so. They swore an oath to get it back and if they dont they will be in purgatory forever, so they really do have this need of getting it back even without considering the fact that its rightfully theirs to begin with.
As for for Dior and elwings part in this, I have more understanding for Dior than elwing. Dior is a new king and not well known to his people. And the silmaril to him represent a great deed done by his parents and their love for each other and I wouldnt be suprised if the silmaril was starting to become as important to Dior and his people as it was to the feanorians. So him not giving it away makes sense it has personal importance to him and giving it away could mark him as a weak king which is not something he needs. And it is also the fact that we dont know how much he knows about the feanorians oath and what it means he may know nothing at all about it.
Elwing on the other hand is completely different, I do not understand why she does the things she does at all. I will just be discussing the lead up to the kinslaying and not what happens during it, because I have read posts saying that her mental health may have crumbled during it and I do concede they have a point. But that doesnt explain any of the lead up to it. The feanorians ask for the silmaril and she tells them no and its like doesnt she realize that just like last time this can lead to a kinslaying, like does the thought even enter her mind and I dont understand how she could not see it as the likely outcome bu then she doesnt prepare for the eventuality at all. Its so puzzling to me, shes the leader and responible for the safety of everyone there but she doesnt seem to care about it. She doesnt even send her sons to cirdan were they would be safe from the feanorians. For elwing this has all happened before and she does nothing to change what will happen and it doesnt make sense.
So yea im on the feanorians side in this because the silmaril is rightfully theirs and while they did bad bad things to get them back i understand where they are coming from. Something i dont understand with elwing.
Hey anon, I definitely don't see this as an attack; I do appreciate your reasonable tone here.
If you're interested in other more detailed explorations of Elwing and her motivations, definitely check out my Elwing meta tag, because others on on tumblr have done some great work there.
The point I think the other anon was making about the swan ships is that fans can be very quick to condemn Luthien and her descendants as "thieves" of the Silmarils, but say nothing about the Feanorians' theft of the swan ships. No, the events aren't related, but one is a much clearer-cut case of theft than the other, yet it's the one that's swept under the rug to attack those who stand in opposition to the sons of Feanor (SoF). But you're right, it's not relevant to discussing Dior and Elwing in relation to the SoF.
Luthien and Beren, at great personal risk, obtained a Silmaril from Morgoth. I think it's relevant to note that at this point, the SoF appeared to have no problem with Luthien having possession of the Silmaril. In fact, Maedhros takes heart from their success and by it is inspired to begin his efforts which culminate in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad.
First, let's recall Luthien's history with the Feanorians at the point that she and Beren depart Doriath after Beren is restored to life:
Luthien is aware of the Kinslaying at Alqualonde and the theft of the swan ships, actions of shocking violence by Elves against Elves, and the Noldor's part in trying to conceal it from her parents.
Celegorm and Curufin feign friendship with her when she encounters them on her quest to rescue Beren, only to then trap her in Nargothrond. Celegorm plans to wed her against her will, which strongly implies he also means to rape her, in order to force Thingol to open the Girdle to the Feanorians.
Celegorm and Curufin overthrew Finrod's chosen successor, Orodreth, and the Arafinweans had been friends of Doriath. She may or may not be aware that Celegorm used the oath to threaten the residents of Nargothrond, implicitly threatening violence against them.
After Luthien has escaped and rescued Beren from Sauron, she encounters Celegorm and Curufin again. Curufin attempts to kidnap her, and Celegorm then attempts to kill Beren when he leaps to her defense.
Celegorm openly makes threats against Thingol and Doriath.
So at this point, you can perhaps see why Luthien does not feel a lot of need to play nice with the SoF. From her perspective, they're pretty scummy people who are more than willing to commit violent acts against other Elves. At no point does Maedhros reprimand or punish Celegorm or Curufin for their actions, which as the leader of the Feanorians, suggests he doesn't think what they did was wrong. Why should she cooperate with them? They didn't risk their lives to obtain one of their Silmarils. If the Silmarils were as important to them as they claim, why haven't they tried harder? She and Beren, with far fewer resources, managed to do it.
Additionally, the Feanorians do not make any effort to reclaim the Silmaril from Luthien during her life. Possibly because she took down Morgoth (briefly).
"For while Luthien wore the Necklace of the Dwarves no Elf would dare to assail her..." (Of the Ruin of Doriath)
So she dies and the Silmaril goes to Dior, her son.
To Dior, the Feanorians are the unquestioned villains of his parents' story. These are people who openly threatened his grandfather's kingdom, who tried to force his mother into marriage and imprisoned her, who tried to kill his father. Sure, you can argue that they have an ancestral claim on the Silmaril--but cannot Dior also make that argument at this point? And what motivation does he have to cooperate with them? They do nothing to win his friendship, as they have done nothing to win the friendship of Doriath throughout their time in Beleriand. If Maedhros is such a formidable diplomat, why can he not come to terms with Dior?
"They [the Feanorians] came at unawares in the middle of winter, and fought with Dior in the Thousand Caves..." (Of the Ruin of Doriath, emphasis added)
Furthermore, to your point, Dior is a young king--and a mortal among Elves. Doriath is also recovering from the war with Nogrod; they are already in a vulnerable position, and with Melian gone, the Girdle is down, so they are far more exposed than they are accustomed to being and having to adjust to that.
So Dior does not relinquish the Silmaril, and rather than pursue the two held by Morgoth, the Feanorians assault Doriath, kill many Elves, throw at least two children out into the woods to die of exposure, and still fail to capture the Silmaril.
So Dior dies and the Silmaril goes to Elwing, his daughter.
Consider what the Feanorians represent to Elwing at this point.
These are Elves who have shown themselves to be unrepentant killers. We as the fans love to focus on the tormented regret of the Feanorians, but to their victims, they are simply killers. They committed slaughter in the Blessed Realm, for which they were exiled by the Valar, and for which they have expressed such regrets--except that they've gone and done the same thing here in Beleriand. They have threatened forced marriage, they have killed children, they have driven the Iathrim from their home and made them refugees. To Elwing personally, they are the murderers of her parents and the ones who dragged her brothers into the woods as children and left them to die.
What, precisely, might motivate Elwing to cooperate with them? So the Silmaril "belongs" to them--so what? They have tormented Luthien's line for generations now--the Feanorians ARE the Morgoth of Elwing's story. And she should give into them why? The Ring belongs to Sauron--should Frodo hand it over because it's his property?
Maedhros, who has apparently lost all diplomatic veneer, does nothing to show good faith or a desire to cooperate with Elwing. Instead, he writes with his demands, as he did with Dior.
The one thing--the ONE thing--that might make Elwing cooperate is, to me, solely to avoid another slaughter as happened in Doriath, as you mentioned. So in this vein, why doesn't Elwing surrender the Silmaril just to avoid trouble, even if she hates and distrusts the Feanorians? There are two things which are absolutely key to understanding this decision.
1.Elwing does not make the decision alone. Critics of Elwing often act as though she made a unilateral decision to withhold the Silmaril from the Feanorians--which is not the case. In fact, Tolkien writes that "Elwing and the people of Sirion" refused to yield the jewel under threat.
This is not an unusual response. Most people do not respond well to being threatened, and may refuse out of spite. Furthermore, these are people who were made refugees by the same people now making demands of them.
But more importantly, Elwing did not alone choose to keep the Silmaril. She and whatever Sirionites aided her in governing decided together that they would not give in to the Feanorians.
2. The second is that the Sirionites believed the Silmaril was protecting Earendil and the Havens. Remember that at this time, Earendil is seeking for Aman, to obtain the help of the Valar in defeating Morgoth. So not only is he the lord of the Havens at Sirion, but he is on a quest which is, to them, of critical importance. They need him to stay safe so that he can complete his mission and hopefully win Beleriand's rescue.
And to your point about Dior above--this Silmaril is effectively a family heirloom to Elwing as well.
The Sirionites are particularly loath to part with the Silmaril while Earendil is at sea--which makes sense, as he is a ruling lord of this city, and they believe his protection is somewhat dependent on their possession of the Silmaril.
But the Feanorians don't wait for Earendil to return to negotiate--they lay siege to the Havens at Sirion while Earendil is still away ("For the sons of Feanor that yet lived came down suddenly upon the exiles of Gondolin, and the remnant of Doriath" Of the Voyage of Earendil and the War of Wrath, emphasis added) and render the Iathrim virtually extinct as a people. Once again, they come down "suddenly" on another group of Elves and destroy them.
What the Feanorians do in the Havens at Sirion is so awful ("the cruelest of the slayings of Elf by Elf") that their own troops stand aside or even turn against them during the fight in an effort to defend the Sirionites; the Feanorians kill them too.
This, to me, tells us how far the Feanorians are from attempting any real diplomatic work here. They are not even considering the Silmarils that Morgoth still has; they have utterly failed to reach Elwing in a diplomatic or cooperative manner; they refuse to even wait until Earendil has returned so that he and Elwing can make a decision together, as joint rulers of this city.
Why doesn't Elwing fortify the Havens? We have no evidence that she doesn't. Only that it wasn't enough to stop the Feanorians. Why doesn't she send Elrond and Elros away? That poses its own risks--and she may believe they are safest there, as the Sirionites believe the Silmaril is protecting the Havens. It may be incorrect, but it is something they believe and they operate under that belief.
But even if you think she didn't do things she should have--does that justify the actions of the Feanorians? It's fine for them to murder because their victims didn't do enough to prevent them from murdering? You took our object so we can kill you for it now?
Putting all that aside for now, I want to jump over to the oath, because you mentioned something interesting about it:
They swore an oath to get it back and if they dont they will be in purgatory forever
Purgatory and hell do not exist in Ea. What exactly the Feanorians think their "punishment" for breaking the oath will be is unclear, whether it's just death without the chance for rebirth (as is the case with Feanor, and seems to be the most extreme punishment the Valar can or will enact), or something more. Clearly they put a lot of stock in it--but they also are not totally beyond the notion of breaking it. Maglor himself suggests after the Third Kinslaying that they should abandon the quest and plead their repentance to the Valar, but Maedhros refuses.
Maedhros seems to still believe they may suffer some punishment for breaking it--that Eru might actually hold them to the oath they swore. But Maglor counters with the notion the oath can be voided:
"Yet Maglor held back, saying: 'If Manwe and Varda themselves deny the fulfillment of an oath to which we named them in witness, is it not made void?'" (Of the Voyage of Earendil)
And of course, why would Manwe and Varda hold them to an oath which has caused so much strife, and which promises to cause more? Why should they desire the Feanorians to be held to an oath which causes them to murder and destroy other Elves? Maedhros refuses, still believing, or at least asserting, that some punishment by Eru awaits if they break the oath. Maglor somewhat grimly points out that given what they've done, punishment is their due one way or other other:
"'If none can release us,' said Maglor, 'then indeed the Everlasting Darkness shall be our lot, whether we keep the oath or break it; but less evil shall we do in the breaking.'" (Of the Voyage of Earendil)
Maglor acknowledges that they have done evil in pursuit of the oath and that they will continue to do evil if they do not choose to set it aside. Furthermore, that if they cannot be excused from the oath, they're likely to experience punishment either for breaking it or for the things they do in pursuit of it, so it's all the same in the end anyway. Yet Maedhros and Maglor instead make a free and conscious decision to continue their pursuit of the Silmarils.
They are a) well aware that they have done horrible, awful things trying to fulfill this oath; and b) aware that breaking it is an option. They choose not to. They have chosen not to this entire story.
And truthfully, even if they would be condemned to purgatory or whatever, it doesn't justify what they do. They chose to swear this oath, they have chosen to pursue it, and if they are willing to slaughter whomever they need to to protect themselves from the consequences of their own oaths, that still makes them selfish, wretched people who are willing to sacrifice anyone else to make sure they themselves stay safe.
Even if they were able to obtain the one Silmaril from Elwing, the oath is not fulfilled. Morgoth still has two. Everything they did to Doriath and the Havens at Sirion is worthless without the other two Silmarils, but they did it anyway; and even after the chaos wrought by their actions there, go ahead and slay Eonwe's guard after the War of Wrath to steal the Silmarils everyone else had rescued from Morgoth.
The Feanorians have done so much wrong that the Silmarils themselves reject them by the end. I don't know how else the narrative could make it clearer they are in the wrong. Tolkien implies that the oath was wicked from the very start, and always bound to lead the Feanorians into wrongful acts.
Lastly, I will point over at this meta I wrote a few months back about how if the Feanorians had obtained the Silmaril from Elwing, it would likely have doomed Middle-earth to Morgoth's rule.
In any case, I don't think anyone who escalates a situation to murder is ever in the right, and certainly not over something like property rights. If you can sympathize with the Feanorians about their perspective, you should be able to consider what the Feanorians are to the perspective of Luthien's line--and why they are not keen to work together with the Feanorians or give them what they want.
Not sure if you found any of this convincing, but I hope it's something to consider at least!

just watched kung fu panda 4 today, it had amazing animation, character and background design, wonderful soundtrack and voice acting....and really weak writing, i cant believe that they brought all those villains back and never let shen have even one dialogue!! also so many plot holes! what exactly was the requirement for the chameleon to steal kung fu, and why the fuck did she take all those cannon fodders kung fu and not oogways? and whatever dialogue tai lung got was very underwhelming and did not contribute to any chracters development, the only thing they did right was that they gave po's dads really good scenes, and i liked how zhen (the fox) and po's companionship grew, but god the reason for po to find a prodigy felt so forced, they shouldve let him come to the conclusion that he needed a successor, it shouldnt have been shifu telling him!! the whole point of shifus character is that he realizes that he isnt the person who is going to decide the dragon warrior, he is just there to guide them, his hubris leads him to believe so many times that he gets a say at who is the dragon warrior (tai lung, tigress, po) but he grows and realizes that he doesnt get to decide whether someone is worthy (tai lung and tigress) or unworthy (again tai lung amd po)
Still loved the movie tho but this time us lord shen lesbians lost and the tai lung twinks won, but what does a victory mean when it takes all the ambition out of your character..

omg can I hear about your ocs im curious
!!!!! yes of course!!
(im warning you this is gonna be Long bc i cant summarize things aldksk)
okay so first theres zayu. shes actually my dnd character and basically her whole story can be summarized in: shes a demon too good and pure for this world. she is such a lovely person an absolute sweetheart who is always very kind and whose mission in life is just having a humble life trying to help others in need as much as she can. but yeah you read it right. she Is a demon so the people from her homeplace didnt like her personality at all and they ended up kicking her out from hell. however some people thought that was a weak punishment and are now after her to make her pay for her "crimes" (the crime in question being a too good person yeah) so zayu is now travelling around around the world enjoying her life as she had never been able to do before and always moving from place to place to avoid the other demons that are chasing her. also this isnt really relevant to her story but i have to say she is very ourple (light purple skin and dark purple hair 💜)
the other characters i mentioned on that post are from an original story i began writing quite a few years ago and that i never finished..... i havent touched it in soooo long but its the only one og story ive started that i really want to finish some day. it takes place in a medieval royalty fantasy setting where theres a continent with many kingdoms. the main characters are from two of these kingdoms which have quite a close relationship
one of the kingdoms has 3 princes: auron (oldest), crysta (middle) and davel (youngest). given their birth order, auron is the heir of the kingdom so was taught mainly politics and necessary knowledge to rule the kingdom as the next king. crysta was raised to be a leader in the army forces so she is now the captain of the royal knights. and davel being the third child and since his siblings already learnt the main disciplines he was taught how to use magic, which is an ancient power that is quickly disappearing nowadays so there arent many people who can cast magic in this universe
on the other kingdom we have a pair of twins: alrick and lavianna (also shortened as lav or lavi) as the prince and princess. alrick was born first so he has always spent most of his time studying and preparing to be the next king while lavianna has had an easier and less busy life in this aspect
as i said both kingdoms have a very close relationship so both families meet up a lot. davel and lav have been best friends since their early childhood and being both the youngest from their families they had a lot of time to play and spend together. both are easygoing and they have the same age and kinda similar personalities (davel is charismatic and adventurous but also lazy when it comes to his studies and lavi is cheerful active and innovative) so they get along very very well. so well that their parents got the wrong idea and used their good relationship to engage them together in an arranged marriage against their will wanting to strengthen even more the alliance between their kingdoms. none of them like each other romantically but even if theyre shocked at first they let things be bc they arrive to the conclusion they prefer to be married to their best friend than have their parents arrange another marriage with an stranger instead
however! there is someone who isnt quite happy with this announcement and thats alrick. he hasnt had as much time to spend with davel in his life as his sister and he is also much more reserved as a person than her but truth is he is jealous. jealous of davel for all the freedom he has (contrary to him who has many responsibilities) and jealous of lavi for being able to spend so much time with davel and for being now engaged with him. bc alrick has a huge crush in davel but no one knows, not davel (who is very dense to these things (actually arospec coded)) nor lavianna (she is a bit suspicious but doesnt know anything for sure)
as for crysta she has a really close relationship with her brother davel and loves to tease him a lot but she isnt that much close with the others. she is a really cool butch lesbian knight who really worries a lot abt her people and has a soft spot for davel and will do anything to help him in any situation
auron isnt very relevant to the story but well. he is already married and just had a child too and is like the perfect prince son soon to be king
and now to end im gonna just to tell you a bit abt the plot. the thing is that one night alrick wakes up and discovers that everyone in his castle has been petrified. the castle workers his parents even lavianna. all of them except for him. so he does the only thing he can think of and rushes to the neightbour kingdom to ask for help. there, davel crysta and their family talk abt what happened and thought abt a way to reverse what seems to be a magical spell that has petrified the people in the castle and the three of them part on a journey to find more answers and a way to reverse the spell
and well thats more or less it!!!

i get why people do this, but i think that in trying to combat the perceived sexism in the lisa fandom, a lot of people seem to miss basically the entire point of these games by essentially excusing the behaviors of characters like lisa and buddy or acting like its fine that they did what they did, when what they did is take their anger at people who were stronger than them and who hurt them out on people who were weaker than them and had not hurt them (lisa to a lesser extent with buzzo, buddy with fucking every living person left on earth essentially but especially the pacifists/mr beautiful) brad also did this! almost like its.... the entire theme of the game.... that abuse is often cyclical... and acting like these actions were in any way justified is kinda uhhhhhhhh...... like even the new scenes with brads grandpa include long passages where he just shits on marty relentlessly and acts like the thing thats wrong with him spontaneously appeared out of thin air, rather than accept his own potential role in creating the horrible creature that marty is, and i can't imagine that thats the first time this kind of conversation happened. if anything, the strength that buddy has in the end is in her choice to not become the monster that everyone else does (symbolically portrayed in her choice to take the joy antidote, if you do that) and to wrench herself from that cycle of abuse that has, up until this point, literally caused her to kill pretty much everyone left on earth and also make it impossible for those that still remain to have any of their basic needs met, because one of the first warlords she kills is literally the guy who's responsible for vital infrastructure that keeps most people fed? i don't think that indicates strength-- i think it indicates weakness, in fact, if you feel like you have to exert your power over other people-- especially people who have no qualms with you!!-- through violence, and i dont think that even being the last girl on earth excuses her behavior. her anger is clearly so obviously mostly directed at brad, just as his anger is so clearly directed at marty, without really having the added benefit of the guilt about lisa and dusty that occasionally tempers that anger in brad to make him try to not be the person his father/grandfather was (though not enough that that really changes anything). i think these games operate on the premise that their protagonists are in fact wrong and misguided. i think if you simply write off anyone calling buddy wrong and misguided as merely sexism, you take away the thematic throughline of these games. i love buddy and i sympathize with her in her situation obviously, but i love her because she is fucked up and wrong and dangerously misguided and its not like you get to see female characters like this all the time-- especially not female characters who are not in abusive mother/shallow mean girl roles!!-- who are so unapologetically wrong and angry and violently awful to the people around them... its like, i guess, nice? like the need to soften her, make her less of a caustic, destructive and needlessly cruel element because she is a girl? i really don't love that lol. i dont love when people act like lisa didnt hurt anyone either. its not like being hurt makes it okay to hurt others, especially not those weaker than you. idk. i think about this a lot. i know the lisa wiki is written by some jabroni who doesnt take into account that brad and buddy are exactly alike, and seems not to give buddy the grace that they give brad, and i think that is wrong, but i also think that swinging back in the opposite direction and arguing that everything buddy did was fine bc shes a girl is kind of equally ridiculous and not doing anything to combat the sexism in this fandom lol.
like tl;dr igss: yeah its understandable why she comes to the conclusion that this is the best way to act, but it like. isnt? she is wrong lmao. so is brad. this whole family is wrong? they raise each other to be wrong because they were raised to be wrong because their parents were raised to be wrong, and so on and so forth, lol
(that said if you hit me with an ironic "buddy did nothing wrong" or "god forbid women do anything" im not gonna shit on you because of the inherent understanding in that joke that actually she did do wrong lmao. its just very serious and sincere posts that are like okay.... did we play the same game...)

Why do you not like neuvifuri? I'm just curious :0
crack open a cold one with me anon this is gonna be a bit of reading...
first off if you ship it (anyone who reads this) im so happy for you just tag it and we'll be fine i'm not going to hunt people down or whatever anyways if you love it DONT CLICK THE READ MORE!!!!!!
ok so like. i just think their dynamic isnt as wholesome/lovely as a lot of shippers make them out to be especially on furina's side. i believe they both care for each other BUT they don't understand each other.
neuvillette wishes her well and respects her BUT until focalors explained her master plan to him he didn't fully understand the depths of her stress and trauma. remember how in 4.1 furina was nervous about meeting arlecchino by herself and at first neuvillette thought she was just being dramatic? yeah. also he respects her and knows she's more than her public dramatic persona but he also doesn't like being seen as The Same as her (him telling traveler and paimon he doesn't agree with her on everything when they didn't even mention her) and publicly he even praises nahida more than her praises her, since he usually plays the "role" of being the Actual Responsible Man vs. furina.
and while furina does respect neuvillette and tries to rely on him (as like the aforementioned arlecchino meeting) she also finds it incredibly hard to open up to him and thinks he might hold some anger towards her post-4.2 AQ. and im not just talking about furina not being able to tell neuvillette about her whole masquerade. she doesn't even tell him about arlecchino's assault, leaving him to at first assume she just didn't want to go to the meeting by herself, and then eventually coming up with his own conclusion after the meeting. and after seeing furina's whole deal i think it's safe to assume she didn't tell him because she didn't want to be seen as weak or have any doubts cast on her which is like. really fucking sad.
it's like... frustrating as both a neuvillette AND furina fan (but especially as a furina fan) to see people gloss over the complexity of their relationship and just shove them into a feel-good "archon and her loyal dragon!" dynamic when canon pretty much beats us over the head with "yeah these two work together and trust each other but they don't really KNOW each other." maybe if they had more of the actual dynamic in the ship i wouldn't dislike it so much but anyways.
there's... a lot more stuff i could complain about re: most shippers talking points (conflating focalors with furina, saying she's the only/main one who helped him understand humanity) BUT that's on them and not the canon dynamic itself lol. and also we would be here All Day.
in summary i really don't like it when complex, close relationships are just grossly oversimplified or straight up ignored for an easier time with shipping to the point where they become a common or at least noticeably significant fanon interpretation. especially since a lot of it in this ship (imo) ignores a lot of furina's feelings and her own insecurities and view of neuvillette and how she thinks he feels about her.

Oooh Third High Rise World 👀👀 What is the big tower this time? We've got a railgun, we've got a space elevator.. *rubs hands evilly* I want to know everything >:D
Also I'm curious about your OCs! Are they participants, candidates, angels? *^*
Hii!! Thanks for asking :33 apologies that this took long I’ve been running errands!
So first, its a broadcasting tower! Its function is what it sounds like haha, it relies on a phone (and the ability, just like the railgun) for it to broadcast you the God’s code in a video form, kinda like a tv channel, which is why there are no tvs in that world! It’s a God mechanism similar to the og one, created by the creator of all of the realms to make a god out of people who were just like the “perfect” candidates, such as : Kuon, Juo, Aikawa (some may be family, but I’ll get into that later). So basically people who were closest to God / had great potential of becoming God!
The creator selected the people who were just like / related to the “perfect candidates” and threw in an extra 100+ (a lot, i know) people to give the people chances, give them opponents ect.
Now!! My ocs which i love aaaa my little babies have time to shineee
So first, Hidehisa Suzuki!!
•as you might have gathered, she’s Juo’s younger sister, shes the most similar to Juo in the sense of bloodlust (kinda), same principles (bad guys always win). So basically a lot of his qualities, not because it’s natural and in their genetics, its that Juo was a TERRIBLE influence on her growing up, aswell as their parents ect. So shes very dragged-up.
•Giving her a masculine name was intentional! Her parents probably thought it’d be “quirky” to give their kids such awful names.
•She isn’t a bully in the way her brother is, shes more of a “mean to everyone” type. Always gets into fights, causes trouble, makes fun of everyone sorta thing. She doesn’t have targets like Juo did.
•She wears her hair in all different hairstyles, one day its low pigtails, another its down, a braid ect.
•she has white eyes like her bro but they’re not as sharp as his, they’re quite big and round. (Still soulless-looking) and her hair is the same black with a hint of purple.
•she is currently a participant, but she’s probs gonna find a mouthless mask sometime soon (She probably will break it though, shes mentally weaker than Juo)
•she’s 15!
Thats about it on her!!
“I just wanna feel alive” so her. Thats just her.
Myra Aikawa!
•she isnt Mamoru’s daughter, she’s his niece! Shes similar to him on how she has a particular worldview (not an extreme darwinist like Mamoru, but similar), very collected, very strategic, polite, ambitious ect.
•when i wrote my Mamoru hcs ages ago, i mentioned he had a stepbrother, thats his stepbrother’s daughter!
• She wasnt influenced into thinking this way, she kind of just came to a sort of “the weak die, the strong live. Thats just natural selection.” Conclusion (shes very scholarly, reads alot of philosophy books)
•Student council president, takes her role far too seriously.
•Quite snobby and pretentious but doesnt realise, her father married a successful businesswoman who is the main breadwinner of the house.
•She is now a god candidate after randomly coming across a mouthless mask (we can all tell what her goals are now, yikessss)
•Her god candidate powers include :
Self strengthening ability (isnt that great)
Consciousness interference (can go into an awake person’s brain, it has drawbacks though as it exhausts her)
Ability to control Angels (only 1 currently!!)
•She is half Thai half Japanese (Thai on her mother’s side), she speaks both languages!
•she has light blonde hair (it almost looks white) and light brown eyes!
•she wears a half up half down ponytail with a black bow!
•she’s 16!
And last, Takeshi Akesofu
•He is the only one that isnt related to the “perfect candidates” legally or genetically, he is instead like Kuon in other ways. He is the son of a CEO (of a rival company to Shinzaki’s) and a retired actress, but he is not the heir to the company like kuon, instead his elder brother is the heir. He was raised to be superior to others, to carry himself properly because of the prestige of his family. He’s different to Kuon, but theres a reason they’re somewhat related (They may or may not be in a forced marriage / engagement, but thats just a rumour thats been circling around the internet (on earth in their universe))
•He pretends that he’s all serious and proper to please his family but in private he’s rude and informal. He often brags about what he gets from his parents to his (equally rich) friends. Just your classic spoiled rich kid but hides it.
•wears sunglasses almost all the time, says it makes him look hot but he just looks tacky.
•has quite a sheltered life because of the fame, but not as sheltered as kuon’s. For example, he can go out but only if he has bodyguards / people with him.
•is a God candidate! Same as Myra he came across one by accident. His abilities include :
Ability to control Angels (3 Angels at the moment)
Ability to observe an Angel’s strength
Self-transferring (undiscovered by him but it turns out to be weak and will make him confused and dizzy)
•he has dark brown hair and dark green eyes!
•very present on social media, has millions of followers. (Which boosts his already high ego)
•he’s 18!
Thats it for my ocs!! If you wanna know more about them or a character in specific then just tell me :>
And if the third high rise world was ever in written form (unlikely, too many wip fics and exams XP) they would be the protagonists! (Meaning it would be from one of their perspectives every chapter)
The third high rise world starts mid-arrive, and it’s still going on post arrive and isn’t gonna end because Yuri & co simply don’t know about its existence! Neither does the supervisor. They will find out eventually because Yuri is literally 100% God 100% human and i can ramble on and on about the 4 omnis ect.
There are titles which none of them have acheived, such as :
Seraph. (An angel (not in a TS sense) that is the closest being to God, yet not having the power of god.)
Idol. (Just as it sounds, basically having high numbers of followers, being worshipped basically by humans)
More to be added as i think about them and look at meanings ect! Most of these are religious terms because thats a heavy theme in TS and TSA!
Instead of lightning and cloud, they have light! So basically light radiates from them as lightning would in og TS!
So thats basically all for now, as this post is getting WAYY too long, but if you wanna know more then just send me an ask!! :3

though i've never played guilty gear, i think people who say bridget is a trans and/or gnc man are so frustrating and pretty bad at media analysis. not only do the moments in past games where she insists she's a man come across as her trying to suppress who she is, but didn't her creator explicitly state recently that he always meant for her to be a trans woman but he did a poor job of writing that in the past?
yes exactly... ive seen people say bridget pre trans woman confirmation was representative of gnc trans guys and like no she fucking wasnt. stop giving excuses for transphobic and transmisogynist writing! chihiro isnt a trans boy for being "forced" to wear dresses for being "too weak" of a man - shes a horrifically written trans girl because her story is a consequence of how the writers saw "men" who dress femininely and "pretend" to be women. naoto isnt a trans girl for "disguising" themself as a man to be a detective and coming out about their "true gender" after their self acceptance arc - his writing is because of the writers beliefs about an afab persons masculinity only being the result of an external force, not something they actually want to be inside. and youll still see people trying to twist them into something progressive when they are anything but. in conclusion we need to get rid of cis people

Logopolis
One thing I've really come to enjoy from watching Classic is the way its allowed me to recontextualize events in New. This serial singlehandedly made me more on board with both the Flux and the bigeneration and it honestly baffles me that RTD didnt put that connection into The Giggle, even in passing, to help pave the way for his idea
I know WHY he didnt, because he enjoys his happy headcanon that every Doctor got a happy ending. But since thats not in the show and thus not canon (yet) I'm choosing to believe that the bigeneration was a result of time almost eroding in the Flux, akin to the Watcher's presence due to entropy here
To be fair, I'm putting a lot of headcanon of my own here since the Watcher is just not explained. I dont even know if I'd have been able to draw that conclusion if I didnt have the bigeneration as a reference point. I do think this was the writers intentions with the Watcher, just poorly explained like a lot of the science of this serial was
In general, the writing was a little all over the place this serial. Tegan is simultaneously really well written, she has an immediate energy in every scene, while also feeling slapped together. Her total non-reaction to being swept off to a new planet beyond "I'm gonna be late for work" gave me whiplash but her reaction to her aunts death was great (tho that has more to do with Fielding's acting than the writing)
The Logopolis stuff was also poorly explained until we were given a crumb of "they keep the universe together" and the Doctor's decision to fix the chameleon circuit feels like it came out of nowhere
This was not perfect
However, I did like it a lot, mainly because of the various interactions with the Master. His teamup with the Doctor was great, with the Doctor's awareness this is how he dies palpable
And then the juxtaposition of them working together with Nyssa's realization her entire planet is destroyed, because of the Master (who is wearing her father's face!!!) Again, with the context of New Who, it really brings to question just how complicit the Doctor is in all the various war crimes the Master has committed
In a way, this all is a perfect farewell for the Fourth Doctor. His era had some of the strongest writing in the entire series (Ark, Genesis, Pyramids, City) while also some of the worst (Talons, Leisure Hive, Deadly Assassin.) Having a story with confusing lore but strong character work is very fitting
Baker really was great, but there was something about him that always prevented me from LOVING him the way I do Pertwee. Part of that is that I'm not a huge fan of Baker as a person, but I think the other part of that was the way the show moved away from the explicit political stories that I loved so much. I'm sure the worldbuilding stuff that the era was so focused on was fascinating for contemporary viewers, but as a newer fan I either already knew it or it'd been retconned and wasnt enjoyable
His energy was contagious though and I loved the way he brought a levity and joy to the show while also taking the serious scenes with complete seriousness. I remember reading that he agonized over making sure to do Genesis justice because it was such a strong script
His last season started off weak, but ended strong
1. The Keeper of Traken. Just a really, really strong serial on top of introducing Nyssa, who I love and would die for
2. Full Circle. Ever since his introduction where I compared Adric to Atreyu, I've loved the character so of course his first story is this high
3. State of Decay. As much as I love this serial for helping shift the way I view Classic as a whole, its actual plot is fairly standard which prevents it from being higher
4. Logopolis. All the character work is great, all the technobabble isnt
5. Warriors' Gate. I feel like Romana deserved better than the departure she for
6. Meglos. I just find it a little stale and boring, nothing bad but nothing good
7. The Leisure Hive. It was a fun concept but the absolutely horrific editing makes it unwatchable
The companions of this era are all amazing so it'll be hard ranking them but
1. Sarah Jane Smith. There was never going to be any other choice here ofc, she's the face of Classic Who companions for a reason. She steals every scene she's in I love her
2. K9. One of the rare instances where the silly mascot character is truly incredible. Every scene he was in was fantastic and I want one of my own
3. Romana II. Cute and charming snd immensely lovable. Every time she was on screen I wanted more of her
4. Romana I. I loved Mary Tamm's portrayal, she always gave the Doctor as much sass as he gave her and the way she always carried herself as aloof from it all was amazing. But the chemistry of Ward and Baker is unmatched
5. Leela. It pains me SO much putting her this low but she was always the type of character who I loved in spite of her writing rather than because of it. She never had any of the truly GREAT stories the others did
6. Harry. He's the only companion of this era I actively disliked I'm sorry

OK, so apparently I wont get over the ending of BONES AND ALL unless I write about it. I read the book nearly 2 years ago and saw the movie about 3 (?) months ago so some of my descriptions might even be wrong. Feel free to let me know. Film and book spoilers below.
INCONSISTENT CHARACTER BEHAVIOUR:
The only rules that films have to adhere to are the rules set up within the film, for that universe. If u give a character certain abilities then you have to show them using these consistently. Or if you are going to say Oh Superman couldnt fly that day, then you have to have something like Kryptonite to explain away his temporary weakness.
The ending of BAA upsets me because BAA establishes that the eaters have an enhanced ability to bite, chew, digest, tear off the skin of other humans with their teeth since they're children and then doesnt get Maren or Lee to use these abilities against an attacker. In the book, the two of them take on Sully, and Lee is fine after that encounter; in the film Luca changed the outcome of the final fight but didnt provide us a reason as to why this would happen. In spite of their hostile nature, if older cannibals could take down younger cannibals then their species would have been wiped out a long time ago. Nothing in the film prepares us for Lee's injury and it doesnt follow the film's established rules. These two young predators should hv been able to take down the older predator easily (he isnt particulary strong in the movie version, and he prefers easy kills). We've seen Maren rip the flesh off that girl's finger. We've seen Lee take down men in their prime. He even had a bit of time to attack Sully while Sully's back was facing him. Lee is literally just written to die to make Maren's life seen sadder. He is the male equivalent of the girlfriend who gets killed off ("fridged") to add character to the protagonist's life.
CONTRIVED STORYTELLING:
What confuses me is the gap between what the movie shows us and what Luca said it would show us. Luca said this was a great love story and I only saw a relationship that was just beginning. I can appreciate how difficult it was for them to find love but they were still just getting to know each other. Luca called it a Bonnie and Clyde type story but Lee and Maren didnt enjoy their crimes, didnt have a shared beliefs (about cannibalism), wasnt on the run from the police, but most importantly they did not bring on their own death in the end🤷. Bonnie and Clyde dieing in a shoot out is inevitable and its tragic because this couldnt go any other way. In stories, a death isnt tragic unless the character brings this upon themselves thru their own actions. What happened at the end of BONES AND ALL was not the natural conclusion of them living a regular life. Sully is more like a plot contrivance and Lee's death was a cheat of sorts to make us feel sad, without actually earning that feeling.
BRINGING BACK THE BOOK ENDING:
The eating scene in the movie left me wishing i could be more invested in the couple because, to me, it wasnt the grand romantic gesture that Luca obviously felt it was. I think that instead of Maren eating an injured Lee we could have had a much sadder love story if she had eaten him out of a compulsion, as she does in the book.
I think Luca talking this up as a couple's tragic love story isnt backed up by the film. It is actually Maren's tragedy that anytime she gets close to someone she needs to devour them. Her two needs will forever leave her unhappy and alone.
The couple cd have killed Sully, had sex, and then Maren could have eaten Lee. It could even have been a love-sacrifice at that point as well, with Lee willingly letting her eat him, out of love. Without the urgency of a knife injury it becomes so much more about love, and the action wd be in keeping with everything they had shown us about Lee's character. If it happened after Sully was out of the way and they werent in imminent danger we wd feeeel the Oh no 🙀 extra hard, coz we're watching her ruin her chance at love. So then we wd be distraught while we watch her unable to stop herself. Then the film cd end with her alone in a diner, in an aloneness she created herself. [I think Luca mentioned somewhere that a scene had been filmed with Maren & her Dad with a birthday cake at the diner. Had this been kept in you could have had a series of diner scenes throughout the story (1) Maren with Dad, with a cake (2) Maren and Lee, in the scene where they eat so uglily (3) Maren by herself, destroying the cassette with her father's voice message (4) Maren all by herself, missing Lee.]

I find it hilarious and honestly sad how a lot of people claim marvel is trying to give woman representation in superhero movies while they mishandle their main female characters so much. They constructed such amazing wanda motivations in wandavision with a whole backstory just to ignore and take the most surface level thing from the description and make it her entire character in multiverse of madness( and im ok with villain and mad with power wanda it makes sense but not in the way it was presented like when you know the people didnt watch wandavision everything makes sense). Loki season 2 has two other examples unfortunally: Sylvie and Ravonna. Sylvie was such an important and well contructed character in season 1 she challenged Loki and others to change the status quo. In this season she saw the consequences and yet my girl was not proposing a alternative she was basically set in the same plan that was not working. She had 1 choice right that was not kill Victor Timely because she feel he could change and not become he who remains why isnt she fighting for the change she wants when she was warned again and again that without anything no tva or alternative everyone dies. Girl if you wanna die that is your issue dont drag the rest of the multiverse with you and speak for zillion of people i though not letting people die was the whole motive for this. She was NOT the voice of reason in season 2 like she was in season 1. Like you can not put me on her side this time with what she is saying and honestly i dont think you should be trying to do that at all. She shouldnt be. Maybe it was better if she wasnt in most of season 2 and have the life she always wanted to have i think she could do way better than spend most of her time on mcdonalds now she could actually form relantionships without worrying she was being hunted and just come back in the last episodes and then we end uo with the "should i kill you?". Also the fact she move on could help make the case of loki dont want to move on and dont want his friends to like they were trying to push with one of their last conversations when clearly he was trying to save the multiverse. Honestly by the amount of time they gave her and the way she was thinking since the beginning you would guess she would arrive in the conclusion Loki had and be the one to sacrifice herself( the scenes of her working at mcdonalds her car and being atormented at the music store dont make a case that you are too happy to give your life for the better quite the opposite) but since it was about Loki and he couldnt be free to mess up with the mcu( the irony) she couldnt arrive at this conclusion first so they just stopped her at we cant do this so lets just die until Loki already sacrificed himself.
Im still trying to understand what Ravonna plan was Miss minutes is crazy and i dont care about that but Ravonna is a character that had such potential and she end up not doing anything at all just killing some TVA agents for no gain at all. When i finished season 2 i was sure she was gonna be one of the persons He who remains was talking about his variant. What she expected to do with a He who remains variant without the tva tech why not help Mobius and Loki seriously at the point they were with no more He who remains team up with tva was the best for her she could try twist things later from the inside. Also she was rejected and she got super mad like? People talk a lot about strong woman get crazy but as a trope it makes sense with characters like wanda and Jean Grey because their characters are superpowerful and power demands a price such a ultrapowerful character need a character weakness that is almost as strong as its power. Ravonna payed the price with her humanity like she said so she could control everything with order but then she barks in mad when that should be the moment we saw her control her coldness Loki Sylvie and honestly everyone at the Tva are now emocional shaken with reason of course but she claims its not her way. She was suppose to be the one claiming she does the tough choices like He who remains her invading the TVA was basically because she doesn't like loki and friends so she wanted to antagonize them completely emotional. Just as Sylvie she didnt have a solution she was just a obstacle without much to add. Such a waste. Maybe is because she is so dependent on Miss minutes and the TVA tech to do anything maybe she could had awaken some power she had before not like loki/He who remains but similar something that at the time helped He who remains at the war or something that made her more powerful so at least she would be a bigger difficult when they met.
Tom hiddleston his Loki and Ke Huy Quan delivering so much and B15(Wunmi Mosaku) finally having her sweet moments unfortunally couldnt shake the bittersweet sensation of more than 2 episodes with Sylvie and Ravenna being so pointless and underwhelming and honestly kinda stupid.( i didnt even need to mention a lack of inteligence in the end of the fightbetween these 2 they could had made it make sense somehow)

Excuse me while I complain a bit
I get migranes sometimes that (usually) make half my body go numb. Fucking horrifying right? It is. I half medicine to help it but I'm like. Scared. Of taking too much medicine. And this shit is like "could potentially fuck you up? Only allotted 8 a month" so whenever possible I try not to use it
But at 3-4 am this morning I woke up with not JUST half my body numb, oh baby my ENTIRE MOTHERFUCKING BODY was numb. Idk if the migrane had something to do with it or if just the sheer terror of the sensation sent me into a panic attack but holy shit I felt like I couldn't breathe
And whenever I get these migranes my first priority is ~clearly~ to not make a scene. That'd be stupid! Like literally the first one I got I was 15 on a plane and I thought I was actually having a stroke, which btw is the way my grandfather died. So so fun. I thought "I might be dying. But I'll die faster if a flight attendant sees me and tries to help-"
And once I stumbled through my father's apparement to get my meds once and walked past him thinking "dont act suspicious, dont fall dont fall" and then burst into tears when I dropped the pills and my dad called out asking if I was alright and I couldn't form a coherent answer back.
ALL this to say- what I could've done was called or texted my mom and said "help. Need water." And she probably would've helped. But instead I stumbled downstairs pills in hand, unsure if I was making it back upstairs, to get a glass of water. Why didn't I take it dry? Because I'm a coward that's why. Also didn't have confidence in my swallowing abilities given I could hardly fucking breathe. And some fucking demonic beast decided to make the pills packaging the HARDEST DAMN THING TO OPEN LIKE WHAT THE FUCK MAN
IMAGINE you're me here. You woke up, you probably got less than 2 hours of sleep. Your mind isnt minding, your limbs aren't limbing. They feel weak and tired- everything feels like it weighs 5x what it should and your hands dont necessary want to do what they need to do. Imagine an alien controlling a human body. Hands sorta flailing around, no good grip on anything, sorta floating like they're in zero gravity or some shit. Surgeon simulator style.
And this mother fucking packaging holds a tiny teeny itty-bitty pill in some sorta hard plastic tin foil shit that refuses to break.
I was crying and waving scissors around when I finally opened it.
I didn't fall asleep for another hour. And now I'm awake. And I have been since 7:30. Because unlike and other day where I peacefully sleep through my
The conclusion to this epic tale? My body feels so so fucking weak now. And I feel awful. And tired. And I guess this is my life now.
Man, I just wanted to see Across the Spiderverse today :(
