G1’s baby cuddles. yes i know baby is a descriptor, but i’ve changed it to be her name. these is one of many powers that i have. another power i have is to make her the mom of my ponysona. if you bore witness to my full power it would no doubt blind you, but the moment before it did would be euphoric

#generation problems
Disclaimer since this suddenly blew up: I actually really like G2, I only used it in this comic because up until recently it was the most forgotten/disliked generation. It was known as the worst MLP gen for a long time because of how little there was to it and because of how visceral a reaction it got from G1 fans in the 90s.
That is all.

IDW did Spike Witwicky dirty and I'm salty about it. In the cartoon he was a sweet kid who loved his Autobot friends and wrote in his diary about how he thought Optimus would be "a neat president", and they turned him into THIS:
They also changed his dad, Sparkplug, from a blue collar worker to an Army general. Thanks, I hate it.

According to an article in GamesRadar, IDW's My Little Pony 40th Anniversary Special comic will be 100 pages long and feature three separate stories, and will be released on July 12, 2023.
The comic's three main covers each represent one of the stories, and were respectively illustrated by Keisha Okafor, Amy Mebberson and Rose Bousamra.
Synopsis: “Forty years ago, Butterscotch, Blue Belle, Minty, Snuzzle, Cotton Candy, and Blossom cantered onto shelves and into the hearts of children everywhere. Now, join IDW as we celebrate decades of ponies, toys, and friendship! First, from Sam Maggs and Keisha Okafor, travel back to the '80s in a story about four young girls, their My Little Pony toys, and the power of friendship and imagination as they try to save their horse barn from closing. Then, a story from Jeremy Whitley and Amy Mebberson, where Sunny Starscout and her pals learn more about Equestrian history and a place called Dream Valley. And finally, from Tony Fleecs and Brianna Garcia, in 2023, an aunt and her My Little Pony-loving niece have to rely on some dusty G1 toys for entertainment when the power goes out.”
