#25: Izana Kurokawa
I decided to do something special and, since he looks kind of ethereal here, I applied white ink fornthe line work in the hair and the earrings. This was done with a dip pen + comic tip, and Windsor&Newton white ink.
I had some serious trouble with this, since I still have little experience with darker skin tones and I couldn't find a resource in my folder that matched him, and the trial and error process proved frustrating since the tests I liked at a small scale came out sickly and yellowish when applied to a bigger surface... I had to trace the sketch and start over three times before I was satisfied. The blending is a bit sloppy, maybe it always is but it just doesn't show with the lighter shades... Still, I am satisfied with the overall result.

#22: Haruchiyo Sanzu (Akashi)
I struggled a lot with his hair in my first attempt, that's one of the reasons I didn't post my first attempt at Sanzuu, in portrait number 10.
After some trial and error, I decoded pink was not going to come out as I liked, so I switched to a blond version. I prefer him witj shorter hair in this case,it allows me to portray more movement and I thought that important in a character who covers half of his face, to avoid the whole thing looking flat. For the inking I chose the frayed lone for the same reason.
His eyelashes (something that lookrd awful in my first attempt too) are kind of a chalenge, how to make them thick and voluminoud without making them steal the attention or look unnaturally rigid? I think I succeeded this time, but it was HARD.

The Dabbit...part duck, part bunny.
Based on that classic illusion that some folks see bun and some see duck and made that concept into a creature.
In terms of hunting season, these guys really got the short end of the stick. Two favourite targets. On the bright side, they got mad hops for days and, given that they are based off an optical illusion, I thought it'd be funky to give them the ability to make their pursuers hallucinate.
On the downside, some folks like this aspect and desire them even more so...
Their eggs absolutely make you trip balls.
