Tsumugi: …! Thank you. Fufu. Once again, I’m overjoyed to hear your words. Now then, shall we move on from the introductions and dive straight into the VLOG segment?

Chikage: Juza filmed the VLOG this time, isn’t that right?

Tenma: It looks like lots of people are surprised to hear that. How come you asked Juza-san?

Tsumugi: Well, that’s… a secret.

Juza: …Yeah.

Tenma: What’s that supposed to mean?

Chikage: Now, let’s not dig too deep into it.

Tsumugi: Thanks.

Tsumugi: “This flower is strong against the cold, so it’s easy to raise.” “This flower is an African violet. In flower language, it means ‘small love’.”

Chikage: Tsumugi’s flower knowledge always surprises me.

Tenma: That’s Tsumugi-san for you… he knows it all…

Tsumugi: I don’t know everything. I just know because I like them, that’s all.

Tsuzuru: “I’m gonna bring this planter over here.”

Tsumugi: “Yes, go ahead.”

Taichi: “This bag of dirt is pretty darn heavy. I’m getting a workout…!”

Sakuya: “Plant the seedling…”

Guest A: It looks like everyone’s having fun~.

Guest B: It warms your heart seeing them working together to take care of the courtyard…

Guest C: It really is a soothing sight~…

Tsumugi: “What do you think this flower is called?”

Kumon: “Hm~. What could it be…?”

Muku: “I saw it being introduced on TV the other day. I think that’s a primrose?”

Tsumugi: “Correct. It’s an adorable little flower, isn’t it?”

-pause-

Juza: Those were bloomin’ well this morning too.

Guest C: So many different kinds of flowers have been planted.

Guest D: What a wonderful garden~.

-pause-

Muku: “Wow, these flowers are so pretty.”

Sakuya: “They’re a gentle blue and remind me of Tsumugi-san.”

Tsumugi: “Thank you. Juza-kun said the same thing earlier. …Right?”

Juza: “…Yeah.”

-pause-

Tsumugi: As you saw at the garden centre, those blue daisies were chosen by Juza-kun.

Chikage: …

Tsumugi: Fufu. They’re lovely flowers, aren’t they? A certain person gave some to me in the past, so I grew to like them even more.

Chikage: ….Oh, really? They’re flowers that suit you.

Tenma: …Did something happen between those two?

Juza: Uh… I have no idea.

-pause-

Tsumugi: That’s all for my VLOG.

*applause*

Tsumugi: I was lost over what to do for my VLOG this time. I considered all sorts of different ideas like the garden centre, the dressing room, or even my own room. However, I realized what was important outside of acting was this casual, everyday life of ours. I love this garden and I replant the flowers in it. But it’s through those flowers that I talk with everyone and have casual get-togethers. Everyone who lives at the dorm gathers together naturally, chats idly, and makes plans for events… I realized all over again that I love this spot that’s sometimes lively and sometimes quiet. I wanted all of you to see those lovely moments too. That’s what I thought.

Juza: I think everyone is drawn in by Tsumugi-san’s personality. He embodies that sorta daily life, so… All of us trust him and call out to him.

Tenma: Yeah. I feel that too.

Chikage: The way you conduct yourself everyday speaks for itself.

Tsumugi: Fufu, I hope so. I’ll keep working hard as the garden boss in order to protect this wonderful place!

Guest A: Good luck!

Guest B: Garden boss—that fits Tsumugi-san to a tee!

Guest C: Thanks for showing us! It was awesome!

Tsumugi: Now then, I’d like to take my photo at the very end. As for the camera… can I ask you, Juza-kun? You’ve been using cameras lately.

Juza: Sure.

Chikage: The VLOG and birthday event fit Tsumugi perfectly.

Tenma: Yeah. I had a fun and amicable time.

Juza: Me too.

Tsumugi: I really enjoyed my time too.

Juza: Alright, I’m takin’ it.

All together they'd be ridiculous, chaotic and give most of the other members a headache. They also accidentally become the collective secondary parental unit of Mankai (to be consulted if SakyoIzu aren't available) (just because spring automatically turns to chikaita, and natsu automatically turn to tasutsumu and all four of them have a specific dynamic with the Aki kids) (please appreciate my feral poly couple agenda here I think they would be absolutely insufferable in wildly different ways)

Hmmmm I like them I think!! But I don't feel very strongly about it I guess.

I think I feel distant about a lot of Chikage ships because back when I explored the A3 fandom's most horrible places I saw a lot of people being weird about Chikage (AND FOR WHAT) so it put me off shipping him as much and EVEN THOUGH I now brainrot about him much more than back then I still don't ship a lot of his rarer ships actively.

ON THE OTHER HAND, I absolutely see the appeal of Chikatsumu, about seeing past people's facades, about that one conversation where Tsumugi nearly calls Chikage out for sending hateful flowers to Hisoka. Like the potential is SO ripe that even thinking about it now I'm getting excited to think about them. Like there's SO MUCH but I don't actively pay attention to it. Even though I should!!!

Thankfully both hisohiso and mugi came home to me in 20 pulls so i can still save :,)

Theres a part in Tsumugi's birthday party that absolutely drove me insane so I'll try to translate it and-

(I used my mediocre understanding of japanese for this, so take it with a lot of salt)

Day One

“Just how many chocolates did you receive this time, Chigasaki?”

“Ugh.” Itaru dumped the bag in the back and jammed the key into the ignition before turning it to start the car, not even sparing a glance at Chikage who settled himself in the passenger seat. “I don’t like your tone, Senpai.” As he backed out of the parking space, it only took a single glance at Chikage to confirm his suspicions. “Seriously?” Itaru groaned. “Not a single box? Cheat chara...”

Chikage chuckled, “Sure. If having a boyfriend counts as a cheat chara skill.”

“Bragging about a boyfriend now, huh. I have half a mind to kick you outta my party.” Itaru flicked on the turn signal as he waited for the chance to exit the garage. Rush hour, just perfect.

“I’m assuming you mean the car.”

“Hey, that’s a good idea actually.” Itaru replied.

Chikage full on laughed this time. “Well, I’ll make sure to tell Tsumugi that he’s the reason you made me walk home from work.”

Itaru resisted the urge to roll his eyes and finally turned onto the street, “Honestly, he’d probably think you deserved it. Which, you do.”

A long drawn out silence started then, but it wasn’t uncomfortable so Itaru didn’t mind all that much. His finger started tapping on the steering wheel to a KniRoun soundtrack song that started replaying in his head today as most of the drive was silent until Chikage spoke up again.

“Ah, by the way, about those new parts you’re installing into your computer.” Chikage’s eyes flicked to him briefly as if to see if Itaru was listening to him. “Tsumugi and I are actually heading somewhere that day, so Tasuku will be helping you out.”

Itaru hummed in acknowledgment.

“It won’t take terribly long for either of you anyway.”

“Probably not.”

“Well... good luck.”

Itaru’s eye twitched but he clicked his tongue and took a deep breath, very aware that Chikage wasn’t wishing him luck on the build.

“Thanks, Senpai. I’m gonna fucking need it.”
