Final Project 1 - Artist Research Project 1: Self-Portrait

Artist Research: Montsechia

For the development of my idea, I got really inspired by a Mexican project called Monstechia. They are a digital flower shop that sells personalized 3D floral arrangements that have AR interaction.

I think that this is an interesting way of using this technology and it gives the product the next level of experience. It adds another layer and makes it more engaging with the audience.

However, what I want to do for my 3D presentation card, is for the 3D model to be the one that pops up on the card, not just the rendered image, so I will have to try and see if that is possible for my model (as it is too detailed and probably too heavy of a file).

Anyway, this project sets an example of how I want to make use of the AR technology.

Artist Research 2: Chifumi Krohom (AR Mural)

Chifumi Krohom is a French street artist better known for his large-scale murals. He has made projects all around the world and as many modern artists he took advantage of the emerging technologies and created an Augmented Reality Mural. This project took place in France, in the town of Schiltigheim; the goal of this project was to commemorate and highlight the beauty of the local culture and wildlife.

sorry for pacing like a rabid dog instead of answering your ask. I'm ready now so

norifumi is... well, my ship and uniquely mine so I wasn't sure how to answer this one: but I tried anyways!

they mean a lot to me. world's worst symbiotic relationship, no one is ever going to fully understand what's between them and that's okay. they're doomed, in a million universes it doesn't work out 99% of the time but they will always find each other eventually. for better or for worse.

next, hifuaoi:

kind of a weird ship for me bc I don't view them as much of a couple as. a confused lesbian dating a nice guy only to realize that... she likes him as a person, but not much more like she thinks she "should" (bc she's gay). it's a passing thing and idk how much either of them are into it but they were friends before and they will be friends after, and they're better friends for the experience they shared :)

chifumi time!!

ngl. never got this one. I just do not see any apparent chemistry between them. tbh I'm not a huge chihiro fan (nothing personal she just wasn't one of my main characters of interest. different field of expertise y'know) but that doesn't really have anything to do with this? ik hifumi and alter ego get along but. alter ego isn't chihiro. so I don't really get it

finally, junkofumi:

sorry this one is kinda harsh but not a huge fan of this one. I don’t get this. is this one of those ships that's just about torturing hifumi. bc I'm not a huge fan of those. tbh I think I'm a bit softer when it comes to shipping I'm like "I want them to be happy together :))" bc I'm Weird like that. junkofumi does nothing for me in that regard. in fact I'd love to know how this even came about

bonus: thank you for no shiromada today, it's not like I hate them it's just. I have my own personal opinions on it that I will not be diving into here!
