Hi, Gina! Chicago lyrics leak ;)
Oh, that sounds like it could be a good one. Just waiting for rads to somehow make it about Harry and Louis breaking up. 😂

Ok Sabine, I have a wild theory that Chicago is about BBG and Briana and a lot of the song is speaking to Freddie. This song keeps getting signaled out that it's a fave from Louis and it has special meaning. It can't just be about nothing or Zayn or Hannah, right?
Well, Louis and Briana met in Chicago.
Briana has a brother (Freddie).
Have you seen how my life's been going?
'Cause I've been wondering what you'd say
Would you have told me to keep going
Or would you say to walk away?
Keep going in what? The only thing to 'keep going' in is BBG...
Bitter ends turn sweet in time
Is that true of yours and mine?
I mean, this would be a very bitter end.
Just because it didn't work
Doesn't mean it's meaningless to me
It just wasn't meant to be
To Freddie?
I mean - I could be completely clowning but when I saw that they MET in Chicago, I about lost it.
Ohhh I can’t get into song analysis yet because I didn’t have my bubblebath-wine-candles-head-banging-crying-to-fitf-listening yet, but maybe others want to chime in???
Also I wasn’t aware the narrative was that Louis met Briana in Chicago. I always thought it was a Danielle reference.

Louis Tomlinson's sophomore solo album is full of lyrics that would feel right at home on a sixth, grown-up One Direction album — but longtime fans and non-boy-band worshippers alike will find plenty to savor on Faith in the Future.
The singer croons about change on lead single "Bigger Than Me," past love on "Chicago," and hope on "Lucky Again." Described by Tomlinson as the music he wants to make, the record is decked out in dreamy vibes that make for a dancier listen than his first solo outing Walls.
—Ashley Boucher, EW magazine
So Chicago is about Danielle Campbell and one of the lyrics is "I wish I could have kept you." Poor Eleanor.

Those lyrics to Chicago 😳🥴 First, I’m all for songs being about a personal aspect of a singers life but I find those lyrics almost *too* personal, it’s cringey to me. Like I do not want or need to know he was picking out baby names with some random past girlfriend? That’s so weird. Second, if I was Eleanor and my boyfriend wrote a song like that about a past girlfriend and then wanted to release it, I’d be so mad and embarrassed! Why is he writing stuff like this in 2022 when he’s been back with Eleanor for years now??
I look at someone like Taylor Swift who always writes about past relationships but now that she’s with Joe for a long time, she’s no longer writing songs about yearning for an ex or reminiscing on a past relationship in such a positive way. She writes much more generally too without these super specific stories, so it’s much easier to enjoy the music. This Chicago song is seriously baffling to me because it’s just so weird and the lyrics honestly make me uncomfortable. I really hope Eleanor dumped him because she deserves way better. I will say, at least Larries will hate this song! They cannot twist it to be about Harry although I’m sure they will try!
There's just no maturity or depth to the lyrics.

I thought Zayn had 3 sisters
Yep he does. I’m guessing this is in reference to the Chicago lyrics? I’m not sure anything in those lyrics is autobiographical or real, but I think bits and pieces can relate to Zayn, Danielle (lol), and actually makes a lot of sense with Hannah even though I don’t know what Chicago would have to do with her so who knows! It’s a mystery!
