#celeste dumias
Hi I was wondering if you could do one where this is like Remus’ first dinner at dumos with the team but has like an allergic reaction to something. but does not want to say anything so like makes a hurried excuse and calls 911 or something idk. Totally okay if you’re not comfortable writing this.
Okay so this is just further proof I AM Remus John Lupin because this is some shit I would do (and actually have done ope) because above all else I hate to be an inconvenience to anyone ever. And I think Remus is the same way.
This prompt hasn’t been sitting all that long and I need you all to know it has not once left my head since it came in it is perfection. I’m love. Thank you.
To say Remus was nervous would be an understatement.
He had been invited to a team dinner at Dumo’s and though he knew Celeste’s cooking was to die for and that he wouldn’t want to miss it did nothing to stop him from panicking just a little. Sure, he’d been to team dinners here and there once in a while but always out at restaurants, never at anyone’s house.
So, he tried to time it so he wouldn’t be too early, as he was apt to be, so that he wouldn’t be the first or only one there with no one else to fill the lulls in conversation. Luckily, the cab driver seemed in no rush to get him to his destination, which was fine with Remus. He happened to get there just as Thomas Walker was getting out of his car.
“Loops! Hey, good to see you for like, what, the third time today?” He laughed.
“Yeah, yeah.” Remus chuckled, “Can’t seem to get away from y’all. After you.” Remus motioned for Finn to walk ahead of him on the path to the Dumias’ front door.
Talker, as they all called him, gave three brisk knocks and the door opened barely a moment later. “Heya, Black.”
Sirius gave a nod in acknowledgement to them and waved them in. “Hi guys. You can go ahead and hang your coats in the closet. Celeste said everything’s about done so then go ahead and take a seat. I’ll be right back.” Sirius shut the door behind them and then made his way down the stairs to the basement, presumably to his room.
Remus noticed he seemed a bit nervous around a lot of people, especially when the team went out, but even at larger gatherings at one of their houses. And even though Sirius lived here, he still didn’t seem to be at home here. At least, that’s what he overheard Dumo saying to Pots after practice in the lounge the other day when James had inquired how Sirius had been adjusting after months of being in Gryffindor.
Remus shook his head back to the present and followed Talker and the smell of amazing cooking into the kitchen where they found some empty seats around one of the makeshift fold out tables that were scattered about. An empty chair was left next to Remus that was soon filled by Sirius, who had walked up and rose an eyebrow in question, to which Remus nodded for him to take a seat.
The food started flowing soon after, as did conversation which was never at a lull with James Potter and Thomas Walker around and trying to include everyone, Remus and an especially quiet rookie Sirius. Remus had to admit, he was having a great time; laughing freely and savoring the food that lived up to the hype from the team.
At one point he laughed maybe a bit too hard, quickly devolving into a short coughing fit.
Talker gave him a few pats on the back, “Alright there, Loops?”
Remus cleared his throat and rasped out, “Yeah, sorry.”
“He’s just enjoying Celeste’s cooking a bit too much.” James joked. “Celeste, I hate vegetables but these green beans are divine. How?”
“Cooked them with almond butter and sliced almonds, really helps give it more flavor.”
“Ah, well I’ll have to try that next ti—”
“Excuse me.” Remus’ voice was a bit scratchy as he got up from the table to grab a glass of water and head towards the entryway, away from the crowd.
Almonds. Of course it just had to be tree nuts, didn’t it? Just his luck.
Remus rummaged through the front hall closet to look for his coat, just beginning to pull it off the hanger when a shadow fell over him as someone approached.
“Hey. Are- Are you leaving?” Came Sirius’ timid voice. “I hope the crowd wasn’t too much, I know lot’s of people make me nervous too.”
Remus finally got his jacket free, immediately rummaging through the zipped inside pocket and retrieving his epi-pen. “No, it’s not that…” He got out before coughing lightly. He dropped his coat and leaned back against the wall, bending his legs slightly and taking out the pen. He took a deep breath to steel his nerves, “Let me know when it’s been three seconds.”
Remus did his best to hold back a wince as he stabbed himself in the thigh and heard a distressed noise from Sirius.
“Okay, oui, three seconds.”
“Thank you.” Remus placed the pen back in the holder to dispose of later and tossed in on top of his jacket. He leaned his head back against the wall and rolled his head to the side to look over at Sirius. “Sorry. Almonds. Allergy.”
“Are you okay?” Sirius look more that a little freaked. Panicked might be a better word. “H- Call? Nine un un? Hospital?”
Remus let out a chuckle at Sirius fumbling for words, hoping it would calm him a bit. “No,” Remus cleared his throat. “I’ll be fine. Could, um, could you actually grab me some water? I think I’m going to sit for a bit, away from everyone.”
“Oui. Viens- Come. We can sit on the stairs.” He tentatively reached out to Remus and lead him to the basement door, walking down just a few steps and motioning for Remus to sit. He left and came back a moment later with a cold bottle of water and sat on the stairs next to him, closing the door just above him, muffling the sounds of the team just upstairs.
“Sorry, I—”
“Don’t apologize. We should have asked of anyone had allergies. You could have asked, too, Celeste wouldn’t have minded. I can tell her for next time. Are you sure you’re okay?”
Remus let out a huffed laugh; he was pretty sure that was the most Sirius had spoken to him ever. “Yeah. Yeah, I’ll be fine. Not that severe an allergy. More embarrassed than anything.” He opened the water and chugged down half of it in one go. “Usually, I’m more careful about noticing if there’s something I’m allergic to. But I’ll be find, just need some air for a minute. Crowds can be a little suffocating, right?”
It was Sirius’ turn to huff out a laugh, “Oui. I usually don’t even make it to the end of these things without hiding in my room a couple times. The quiet helps calm me in the middle of the chaos.”
“Yeah, I get that.” Remus finished off the bottle of water, setting it down by his feet. “I think I’ll need a bit before heading back out there, you?”
“Oui, same. The stairs, uh, aren’t that comfortable. Do you want to maybe come sit in my room for a few minutes before heading back? I think Adele left me her Gameboy, I could show you my pokemans?”
“Pokémon?” Remus smiled at him. “Sure. Lead the way.”

Awe so cute! I love this!!
Where- where do they go home to? Sirius' or the Dumias' or did the Lupins move to be closer to Re? Do Jules and Marc have their own place?
There's just so much love for little Stella I just know it 🥰
Damn I am pumping out fics today.
Anyways here’s more of Jarc parenting. (Leave more ideas for Jarc parenting)
CW- teen pregnancy, exhaustion, taking a break to sleep, fluff
5 weeks old
The first month was harder than anyone told them it would be.
And everyone told them it would be hard.
Even though they were living at the Dumais’s and had Celeste and Dumo to help, it was exhausting.
And exhaustion was the last thing Jules needed. Every doctor had told them to get lots of rest but how in the fuck were they supposed to do that with a newborn.
It got to the point where they slept at their parents house just to be able to walk the next day.
“You we’re just like this when you were younger.” Celeste told Marc as she watched him try to rock Stella back to sleep.
“Hope said Jules was too.” He told her with a smile.
“How is Jules doing?” She asked.
“The same I guess.” He shrugged.
“How are you feeling?”
“Exhausted” he laughed.
“I meant how are you feeling about Jules?”
Marc was silent. “I miss them. I know they’re here during the day but we’re focused on Stella all day that we don’t get to talk to each other. I am so, so glad that they realized that they aren’t going to be okay if they were up with her all night but I just want them back and I want them to be okay.” He didn’t realize he was crying.
“I know sweetheart.” Celeste placed Stella in her crib and hugged her son. “She’s starting to get better at sleeping through the night so they’re probably going to be able to stay here.” She told him.
“Yeah. Yeah. I guess so.” He nodded and wiped her nose.
And as if hearing hoe upset her father was, Stella started sleeping through the night.
10 months old
When she was 10 months old she started walking.
Most babies walk around 8 months but they soon figured out what took her so long.
Because once she figured out how much freedom she had when she walked, she realized she had a hell of a lot more freedom when she ran.
13 months
“Babe Stella wants to give you something.” Marc shouted across their new apartment.
“Stella Bella come show me it.” They walked into the playroom.
“Go show them, little one.”
“Daddy give you” Stella walked over.
“Daddy gave it to you?”
“No daddy give you.” She shoved it into their hand.
“Oh my god.” They gasped.
It was a silver ring with a note attached.
‘Marc and Jules kissing in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g’ It read. ‘First comes love. Then comes marriage baby in a baby carriage. Then comes baby in a baby carriage marriage. We might have skipped a few steps but I wouldn’t change it for the world. It might now rhyme anymore but we should still finish the song. Marry me, mon coeur?’
“Oh my god,”
“So?” Marc asked.
“Yes, yes, yes, yes. Oh my god, yes.” They tackled him to the floor.
Stella took it as her opportunity to jump on top of her parents.

Ooh tying your lovers tie with sweater weather jily??
Ask and you shall receive...
Lily huffed out a frustrated breath and threw her hands up. "James!"
"Right here." He called from their bedroom doorway.
"Can you help me with this?" She gestured at the time hanging around her neck. "I can't get it."
"I thought you were a strong independent woman? What would you do with me?" He teased.
"Oh yeah yeah okay Mr. 'I can't figure out how to do laundry to save my life'." She shit back playfully.
James walked up to her, pulling the tie down on one side to even it out and started tying. "Why are you wearing a power suit complete with a tie again?"
"To match Nat! We have a who plan to match with Celeste tonight for the party."
"But it's not a dress up party?" James asked befuddled.
"Hun, ever party is an excuse to dress up. Just let us have this."
"Okay. Aaaaannd there, you're all set. You look jawdropping." He placed a quick kiss to her cheek. "Now, what am I supposed to wear? I need to get on your level and I don't know if I can. The bar is too high."
"You're tall,I'm sure you can reach it." She said matter of fact and left James standing in the bedroom, trying to pick an outfit.

I would loveeee to read something involving Dumo looking after a Sirius who comes home insanely drunk
Combined with another anon ask: What if Sirius keeps getting drunk before going to sleep because he’s struggling with his nightmares? :(
This has taken forever for me to get to and was sitting mostly done for a while but here it finally is.
Credit, as always, to the amazing @lumosinlove.
This is part of the Nightmares Mini Series Prequels - Drinking To Cope
He knew he shouldn’t. But… Jackson had offered to get him another drink. So, he accepted. Some concoction with Sprite and vodka, he thinks. It wasn’t awful, so he downed it, like he had with the last. And each time his glass was empty, Jackson or someone from the team got him another. So, he kept drinking.
Several hours later, the guys all decided to call it a night and someone had gotten him a cab to get back to Dumo’s. About a half hour later, he arrived at Dumo’s, stumbling out of the cab onto the curb and somehow managed to get to the front door. He struggled to fish his keys out of his pocket for a minute or so when the door swung open to reveal Dumo.
He was in a faded gray shirt and sweats, no doubt ready for bed. He had forgone the invite to go out to stay home and help his little ones with their homework. “Let’s get you inside, mon fils.” He reached out to grab Sirius by the shoulder and gently pull him in, slinging an arm around his shoulders to guide him downstairs.
“I’m fine.” Sirius tried to protest, push Dumo away.
Dumo only secured his arm around Sirius and led him to his room in the basement, supporting quite a bit of Sirius’ weight. “Let’s get you to bed.”
They made their way into the room, and Dumo guided Sirius over to the bed and helped him to sit down. “I suppose you aren’t coherent enough to explain yourself right now, and I know I’m not your real parent, but you’re under my roof so you’re my responsibility and you will be explaining yourself tomorrow.”
Sirius slumped over onto his side, feet still on the ground. “I just wanted them to stop.” He mumbled.
Dumo helped him sit back up, “Here, let’s get you out of this.” He tugged on Sirius’ sweatshirt and helped him get it off when Sirius got it stuck around his head and arms. “Wanted what to stop, Sirius?”
“Them. The… the dreams. The bad ones. I can’t… I can’t face them. Not again. They’re not even here and I can’t get away from them.”
Dumo could tell Sirius was just rambling, but he caught on that it was about the nightmares that had him kicking and screaming at night. They were about his parents, they had to be. As Dumo looked over at the young man, scared and drunk and struggling to unbuckle his jeans, he knew he had to help him. In whatever way he could.
Right now, that meant getting him a few aspirin, a bottle of water, and a bucket.
“Get ready for bed, I’ll be right back.”
Sirius only grumbled in response and nearly tripped trying to stand up. Dumo steadied him before heading back upstairs as Sirius got out of his jeans and shirt, climbing into bed in only his boxers.
Dumo came back downstairs not four minutes later to see Sirius asleep, covers half kicked off. He set everything on the bedside table and pulled the covers up to his shoulder so he wouldn’t get cold. Right before releasing the blanket, Sirius stirred and haphazardly reached out to grab Dumo’s wrist.
“Stay. Please.”
And how could he refuse? “Alright, mon fils.” Dumo said as Sirius clumsily moved over to the other side of the bed to make room for the older man.
Dumo laid down, forgoing the blankets, and placing his arm across the pillow next to him which Sirius adjusted himself to use as his pillow.
Dumo watched as Sirius fell into a somewhat peaceful sleep next to him as he himself started to get drowsy. His eyelids fluttered shut for an unknown amount of time before he heard the door open softly.
Celeste peeked her head through the doorway to Sirius’ room to see her husband in Sirius’ bed, the later curled into his side and using him as a pillow. Sirius had an arm wrapped tight around Pascal’s chest and face buried into his side.
A sad smile crossed her face as she closed the door and headed back up to bed.

I like the idea of while Logan is living with Dumo, one of the younger kids mentions something along the lines of he’s a lot quieter during the night than Sirius was or something implying Sirius’ troubles and Logan asks Dumo about it
So a teaser for the upcoming Nightmares Mini Series extension prequel series thing that y’all want! I am so excited people still find it and read and reread it and love it! I loved writing it, as heart wrenching as it could be. More content to come so stay tuned!!
As always, these hockey boys are credit to the amazing @lumosinlove!
“How’s the first few weeks at Dumo’s going?” Sirius asked as Logan let him into the Dumias house.
“Good, good. A lot to process still. We have a game in two weeks and it still hasn’t quite set in yet.”
“I’ll bet. Surprised to see you didn’t move in with Harzy, you’re college teammates, non?”
“Yeah... well my mom wanted me to billet until I can afford my own place, and Dumo offered and my dad was over the moon about HIS SON living with THE Pascal Dumias.”
“Oui, it is great here.”
“Boys! Stop loitering by the door, sit at the table, supper is almost ready!” Celeste called from the kitchen.
As the boys moved further into the house, the Dumias kids swarmed them. Welcoming Sirius and giving him hugs. Even though he still came to the house for dinner at least once a week, the kids said they weren’t seeing him enough after moving into his own place.
“We miss you Siri!” Katie chimed in as she was picked up for a hug and she clung to Sirius’ neck.
“I miss you guys too!”
“At least the nights are quieter around here.” Adele joked.
Logan gave Sirius a questioning look, who shrugged and looked at the ground as he said, “I snore.”
“And sleep talk. Sometimes. In French, too! Papa always has to tell him to be quiet.” Katie added from where she was still in Sirius’ arms.
“Yeah, well you snore too, ma petit cheri.” Sirius shot back, tickling the girl in his arms.
Logan was a little confused by the whole thing, but by the way Sirius was refusing to make eye contact with him, he decided to save his questions for later.
***
After supper had been devoured, Celeste went on getting the kids ready for bed as Pascal, Logan, and Sirius cleaned up the table and started the dishes. Conversation was light, and with all the kids and Celeste upstairs, Logan decided now was as good a time as any.
“Hey, um,ca- can I ask about what Adele and Katie were talking about? You talk in your sleep?”
Dumo slowed his scrubbing a pan, and looked over at a frozen, wide-eyed Sirius.
“Sorry, you don’t have to say anything,” Logan forced a laugh. “When I roomed with Finn at college, he sometimes talked in his sleep too.”
“No, it’s alright. Ouai, I, um, sometimes do.” He got out a raspy chuckle. “I would sometimes have nightmares? I guess? It was just being in a new place, new country, really, and it was just a lot of pressure and... yeah. No big deal, it’s all good. You’re good.”
“Yeah, it is a lot, I can relate to that. I mean, I had college to adjust being not in Canada, but yeah. It’s still a lot.”
With that, they fell into a comfortable, if not a tad tense, silence. As the boys were finishing up, Celeste came down to give Sirius a hug goodnight before sending him off.

Hi! Way back when in your disability pride month post you mentioned you hc Logan w/ some depression and Finn with adhd. I'm adhd, and sometimes it causes issues with my friends with depression, when I am just SO much and they really can't handle so much. I was wondering if you'd write a fic about something along those lines and maybe leo just in the middle? And/or how they solve it (i.e, finn going for a run to get out energy or smth) i LOVED your logan h/c leo's depression and would love more!
Yes! Okay so disclaimer, this is based of my experiences with things similar to what anon is talking about.
Also, does this feature some Logan / Sirius bro-lationship because do I have another ask I’m working on about that? Maybe. Maybe. (Who am I kidding, definitely yes lol.)
I’m sorry this took soooo long to get out, but it’s long (like, over 2,700 words) and took a lot of time and energy and I haven’t had the energy or people points to deal with things lately. But finally, it is finished. (You may ask yourself, what are people points? Well, read on to learn what I mean lol. It's a real thing my friends and I use to express how we're feeling.)
Credit, as always, to the amazing @lumosinlove who created this universe and let's us play around with it!
CW for depression and anxiety references
Finn woke up very excited. He was so hyper; he could barely contain himself. He was practically vibrating with excitement for the day. He had been feeling a little cooped up the last few days, having a lazy weekend with his boys, watching movies on the couch. Today he was finally able to let out some of that pent up energy playing tennis with Kasey and Nat, who had only agreed to go last night when Leo suggested it after the whole day of Finn not being able to sit still for a single movie scene.
Finn sat up in bed, pulling his phone from the nightstand to check the time a shoot a quick text to Kasey to confirm that they were up and would be ready to meet at the courts in an hour.
He heard Leo start to rustle on the other side of their still sleeping boyfriend and thought it odd that Logan, ever the light sleeper, hadn’t moved yet. He reached down to grab his shoulder and shake him awake not exactly gently, being a little too excited for the day ahead.
Logan only groaned and roughly shifted away from the touch, pulling a pillow over his head.
Finn shot a questioning look over to Leo, who just shook his head and whispered, “Let him sleep in. He hasn’t been doing well the last few days, he probably just needs some rest.”
“Then who’s gonna help me beat Kase and Nat in doubles? You already had plans to help Celeste bake for Katie’s bake sale.” Finn pouted.
“Y’all’ll just have to play singles and switch out, I’m sure they won’t mind. Come on, lets get some coffee brewing.”
***
Leo, having already seen one boyfriend off to the gym, crawled back into bed and pulled the other into his bare chest.
Logan only sighed, snuggling closer into the warmth.
Leo soothed a hand through Logan’s hair, whispering, “I have to get ready to head over and help Celeste, are you gonna be alright by yourself today?”
Logan hesitated for a moment before nodding against Leo’s chest.
“Is it a bad one today?” Leo asked softly.
Logan took a shaky, deep breath and started to silently cry, nodding again. “I’m sorry.”
“No, don’t be sorry. It happens, alright? You’re alright darlin’. These last few days were hard, I know, and it’s okay. Do you want me to stay with you?”
Logan hesitated again before shaking his head. “Go. I think I’ll try to sleep it off a bit.”
Leo sighed, knowing that what Logan wanted was to be left alone for a bit. “Okay, but if you need anything… or me… just text, ‘kay? Just let me know what we can do.”
Leo sat there a few minutes, letting Logan settle down before getting up to head to the Dumias’.
When he got there, he let himself in and saw Sirius helping to wrangle the kids and keep them occupied playing ‘go fish’ while Celeste got the kitchen set up.
“Cap, hey, didn’t think you’d be here.” Leo let out a surprised chuckle.
“Just swung by for a visit while Re had to do some work at the rink.”
“Ah.” Leo continued to make his way to the kitchen, but then stopped and turned back to Sirius. “Hey. Um, could I have a word with you quick?”
“Oui, of course.” Sirius said, setting his hand full of cards and walking over. Right before he reached Leo, he turned around, “And no peeking at my cards!” He called back to the kids, who only giggled. “What’s up rookie? Am I in trouble?”
“No, no, of course no.” Leo let out a nervous laugh. “It’s just.” He sighed. “Lo. He’s… been having a rough go of it and… I don’t know. He stayed home today, and I know he won’t talk to me about what’s going on. I… you’re like a brother to him. He respects your opinion. Not that he doesn’t respect ours, it’s just…”
“Different?”
“Yeah. I… it’s been getting bad again. I think he should go see Heather, but he never wants to talk about it with us and… Could you talk to him maybe? I just…”
“Of course. Yeah, I wondered what was up when he missed team dinner Friday. I get it’s the off season and rest and all but, he never misses, unless he really not doing good, you know?” Sirius let out a heavy breath. “I mean, I’ve been there and… it sucks. I want to help him. Whatever I can. Just tell me.”
“You should say that to him, I’m sure he could use the support right now. This weekend… Finn was just bouncing off the walls, I don’t think he sat still long enough to really notice it. And then they were supposed to go play tennis today but- Lo really wasn’t up to it. He’s home, wanted some space. And I get that, I just wish… he’d, I don’t know. I don’t know.” Leo started to get a little choked up.
“Hey.” Sirius said, pulling him into a hug. “It’s okay. He’s hurting and that hurts. You can feel upset about it too.”
“But he’s the one…”
“Hey, non, don’t go down that rabbit hole. You can feel what you want without having to feel guilty about it. You support him the best you can and that takes a toll on you too.” Sirius said, holding Leo at arm’s length. “I mean… I know I’ve put Re through the ringer a few times trying to get me to calm down when the world starts to spiral. And he still has his days too when the world is too much handle and getting up is too much energy. But we get through it together. It’ll be okay, Knutty. I promise.”
Leo sniffled and ran a sleeve across his eyes. “Yeah. Thanks, Cap. You’ll talk to him?”
“Yes. I’ll give him a few hours to rest then shoot him a text and see what he’s up to, ouais? Now, Celeste had more ingredients than should be in one household, better go help her bake up a storm.” Sirius said, giving him a pat on the shoulder and a gentle nudge towards the kitchen.
***
Logan knew from the moment he woke up that it was going to be a rough day for him. He sat up slow, still groggy, and looked over at the clock. 11:47 am. Almost noon. He looked around the room to take in his surroundings. He vaguely remembers Finn trying to get him up this morning, excited to go out and play some tennis today. He remembers being grumpy and Leo saying something about letting him rest. Then Leo coming back, acknowledging that it was a bad day, and letting Logan cry before leaving him on his own for a bit.
He pushed the covers aside and planted his feet on the ground, getting up to walk to the bathroom. It felt like everything was in slow motion. He made his way to the kitchen, the apartment unusually silent. He stopped at the counter and stared at the coffee pot for he wasn’t sure how long before two long arms wrapped around his waist slowly. He blinked back to reality and realized Leo was behind him, talking.
“Lo? Logan? Hey, you in there?” He sounded worried, tossing his keys on the counter.
Logan turned around in Leo’s arms and brought his hands up to rest on the younger boy’s chest. “Quoi? Oui. Désolé.” The world still seemed to be moving too slow and muffled. He hadn’t even heard Leo enter their apartment just now. He wasn’t sure why, but it felt like there was cotton in his ears, and all his thoughts being drowned about by a dull ringing. “I…” Logan’s words died in his mouth. He didn’t know what was going on or what was wrong beyond the fact the something was wrong. Tears started to well in his eyes.
Leo gave a sad sigh and pulled the shorter boy into his chest, one hand on the back of Logan’s neck, the other rubbing soothingly up and down his broad, bare back. They stood there for several long minutes as Logan sobbed silently into his chest.
After Logan’s tears tapered to a stop, he held Leo close and whispered, voice a bit rough, “I though you were helping bake?”
“I hadn’t heard anything, so I came by to check and see how you were doing. Drink any water?”
“Haven’t had anything.” Logan mumbled into the taller man’s chest, shivering in the cool apartment in only a pair of shorts.
Leo held him close. “How about I make some peppermint tea? Yeah?”
“You should get back.”
Leo sighed, noting Logan’s subtle attempt to hint that he just wanted to be left alone, though the physical comfort he seemed to seek begged to differ.
“I have time to make you a cup, then I’ll get back. Is that okay?” Leo asked softly, running a hand up and down the shorter man’s back.
“Oui.” Logan grumbled, pulling away from Leo in favor of curling up on the couch with the blanket they kept there.
A few long and silent minutes passed before Leo handed him a warm mug, placing a soft kiss to his head before saying something Logan couldn’t focus enough to hear. He just curled around the warmth of the mug and watched Leo go.
Logan wasn’t sure how much time passed, but he had only taken a few sips of tea and now it was cold. He set it on the coffee table and made his way into the bedroom, picking up his phone and seeing a text from Sirius.
Hey, missed you at dinner the other night. Everything okay?
I yeah just wasn’t feeling it ig
Fair. Anything I can do to help?
Are you busy rn? No worries if not
I’ll be there in 20. Never too busy for you Tremz <3
Thanks cap
***
“Hey Leo?” Sirius said, walking into the kitchen. “I just got a text from Tremz, I’m gonna head over, d’accord? I’ll let you know how it goes.”
Leo gave a sad smile. “Okay. Thank you.”
And with that, Sirius headed out the door and made his way across town to the cub’s apartment.
When he got there, he let himself in and toed off his shoes. He found Logan curled up on the couch, nearly asleep under a comforter that Sirius knew had been dragged out of their bedroom. Logan seemed to not even notice him until he sat cross legged on the floor in front of him.
“Hey, Tremz. What can I do?”
Logan’s only response was to sniffle and pull the oversize blanket tighter around himself.
“Hey,” Sirius cooed as he got up to settle on the couch next to Logan, wrapping him up in a hug, “C’est bon. It’s okay. Shh.” He pulled the shorted man’s head to his chest.
“But-” Logan hiccupped, “I ditched him. We- we were supposed to play tennis, bu- but I just couldn’t.”
“It’s okay, Finn will understand. I’m sure he understands.”
“But I- I did it last week too. An- And Kasey and Natalie, we were all supposed to-”
“Logan,” Sirius said more sternly, pulling away just enough to meet his eyes, “I’m sure they understand, it happens. If they don’t, they’ll get over it. You have to take care of you, and if you don’t have the energy, or people points, to do things, that’s okay.”
“People points?” Logan hiccupped again.
“Oui. Like, some days you can have lots of people points to use up by being social? And some people take more people points because they can be a lot to be around, which isn’t a bad thing. Like… I love Finn, yeah? But he’s got a lot of energy sometimes and talks a mile a minute, and sometimes I can’t keep up. And some days, I just don’t have people points to use up, or I have only a few. For me, Re doesn’t take a lot of my people points to be around, and when he knows I’m having a bad day, we just snuggle up to a movie, or, I don’t know, we just sit in companionable silence? We just don’t do socially exhausting things. And Dumo, he’s good at seeing when I’m just out of points, and he’s easy to be around, even when Re is too much. And he understands. Your boys will understand too.”
Logan had pulled away to sit back and had been nodding along slowly, staring down at the floor, deep in thought. “D’accord. That… makes sense, I guess. I just… I feel like I’m low on people points all the time lately.” He sniffled quietly.
“That’s okay. You just need to get some rest and… I’m gonna say this and don’t get upset, but I think you should start seeing Heather more regularly.”
“I- yeah.” He sighed out. “Why would I get upset when you’re right? I… I saw her a few times, but then I was fine, so I thought- I don’t know, that I didn’t need to see her anymore or waste her time.”
“Tremz, there doesn’t have to be anything wrong to see her, and it’s not a waste of time. Not if it helps keep you in a good place. And- And sometimes it’s not enough. To keep you good, and that’s okay. I…” Sirius let out a long exhale, steadying himself for what he was about to admit next. “For a while, when I was still living with Dumo, nothing helped. And even after I was with Re, I… My childhood sucked, yeah? And I had a lot of nightmares because of it. Still do once in a while, but it’s not- just not as much? I… So I went on medication for it. And there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s helped. A lot.”
“I- I didn’t know that. That you took medication for, well, anything.”
“Yeah… I don’t really like talking about it. Not because I’m embarrassed or anything, but because it’s my business. And Re’s too. And Dumo knows, but only because he had suggested I bring it up with Heather in the first place. I also have high blood pressure I take medication for, but I think that’s all the stress of the job.” Sirius joked, giving a small chuckle, trying to lighten the conversation a bit.
“I- Thank you. For sharing that. I never really considered that as an option. Finn and Leo might have something to say abo-”
“It is an option if you want it to be. And the decision isn’t Leo and Finn’s to make. It’s yours. You don’t have to bring it up to them if you don’t want, but I think you should tell them what your thinking. Just don’t let them make the decision for you. It’s up to you.”
Logan nodded. He moved to pick up his mug from the table but retracted his hand when he realized it was cold and gave a sad sigh.
“You want fresh tea?” Sirius asked, gesturing to the mug.
“No, it’s okay.” He said quietly.
“Is it? I’ll ask again, would you like a warm cup of…” Sirius trailed off as he leaned forward to snag the mug off the coffee table and give it a sniff. He laughed to himself, “… of course, peppermint tea?”
“I mean, kinda, but I don’t want to get up so-”
“I’ll be back.” Sirius said, taking the mug into the kitchen to dump it out and make a new one.
“Sirius-”
“Ah ah ah, nope. I’m doing this for you, just sit tight.”
A few moments later, Sirius returned, pressing a warm mug into Logan’s hands, tea bag still steeping.
Logan whispered a soft, “Thank you” and took a small sip, huddling himself around the warmth as Sirius settled next to him, shoulder to shoulder.
“Is there anything else I can do? Leave? Stay?” Sirius asked softly.
“Stay. If you don’t mind?”
“Of course, as long as you need.”

I would love to read a dumo and Sirius fic 🥰🥰
Ask and you shall receive... It’s more a scene drabble than a fic but here it is:
**Dumo is cleaning out the basement now that Logan moved out. Coops come to visit. Sirius and Dumo reminisce.**
The Dumias’ had been working all weekend to clean out their basement out and organize things. When Sunday evening rolled around, everything had been put in it’s place and Adele was helping Celeste prepare dinner before Sirius and Remus got there. Cleaning out Logan’s, and before that Sirius’, old room had made Dumo a bit sentimental and so he had invited the young couple over for Sunday dinner for a chance to catch up outside of the rink.
It was a little past six when they showed up at the Dumias household and let themselves in, walking to the kitchen.
“14 minutes late, mes fils. What kept you?”
“Oh, you know, traffic and all that.”
“I see that.” Dumo said after turning around to take in their appearance and nodding at them. Remus’ hair was tussled and there was a dark bruise starting to form on Sirius’ collar bone that Dumo caught a glimpse of before Sirius had adjusted his black v-neck.
“What he meant to say,” Remus cut in, elbowing his boyfriend, “Was sorry we’re late.”
“Have a seat, I’ll go upstairs and round up the kids.” Dumo instructed.
“I’ll help.” Sirius smiled and followed him upstairs.
Remus walked further into the kitchen. “Is there anything I can help with?”
“Yes, please.” Adele answered. “It’s a good thing y’all made yourselves late by making out. Food’s not quite done.”
“Adele.” Celeste scolded with a chuckle. “Just relax Remus, we-”
“What can I do?” he persisted.
“Set the table?” Adele suggested.
“I can do that.” Remus laughed.
Meanwhile, upstairs, Dumo and Sirius chatted their way up the stairs.
“You taking care of him? And yourself?”
“Oh yeah.” Sirius smirked.
Dumo gave him a look in favor of swatting him playfully. He always used to flinch at it, so Dumo developed his patented Look and still used it even though he knew Sirius had since outgrown flinching at a playful hit. “I don’t want to know the specifics of what YOU were referring to, that’s not what I meant.” He laughed. “So things are good?”
“They’re great.” Sirius stopped walking up the steps, a look of pure happiness plastering itself across his face as he stared ahead but not really seeing what was there.
Dumo noticed a few steps up at the top of the flight that Sirius was not directly behind him anymore. He turned and walked the four steps back down to be just a step above the man who had become a son to him. “Ouais?” He placed a hand on the shoulder of the younger man.
“Oui. Very.” Sirius looked up at Dumo. “Merde, je l’aime. I really love him. We’re so happy. And... and I never thought I could have that. This. Him, the team... you.” Sirius’ eyes were noticeably wet as he continued. “ I... Thank you. For taking me in. And showing me what a family was. What love is, and that I can have it. I don’t know where I’d be if you weren’t there.”
Dumo, holding back tears of his own, wrapped Sirius in a tight embrace which the younger man readily accepted. Without hesitation. He used to do that too; freeze or shy away from an embrace. Sirius had come a long way since he had first came to stay with them.
“And I suppose Re and I wouldn’t be together, or at least not for as long, if you hadn’t meddled in our business.” Sirius said as they pulled away from each other. “But next time, mind your own business, or you may not approve the the things that’ll happen in that guest room should those whose lives you’re meddling with not have any self restraint.
Dumo laughed, turning to head up the last few steps to start knocking on doors to tell the kids that dinner was ready. “Noted.”
