I'm not replacing my current writing partner, just looking to add new writing partners.
Looking for writers in the CASTLE fandom who would be interested in writing with me. I can write as Castle or I can write as Beckett, or we can rotate them out on storylines. I also don't mind writing temporarily as one of the supporting characters if it's necessary to advance the story. I really miss writing role-play style...the immediate gratification of having a writing partner see and respond to your post.
If you have only ever written fanfiction, you might really like to give this a try. It's so fun to plot out a story with a partner...and then you only have to write as one character. It's the excitement of "choose your own adventure" AND writing a story combined.
The only thing I ask is that you be 18+. I don't want to talk with any minors.

Hi there!
First of all, if you currently write with me and are seeing this, I am not replacing you! I'm just looking for more partners to write with! I have a lot of time on my hands.
I've been RP'ing for years...since the early 2000s at least. I'm searching for some people who would like to RP with me in a few select fandoms. They are a little older, and I know it's a long shot because of the age. I'm just hoping there are some people still interested enough who would be willing to write in them.
I prefer writing the ships I'm listing...it's what I find most interesting. That said, I'm looking for plot and story-telling...not pure smut. I want to build the relationship, or fix moments from the series, or do a completely AU slow burn with them.
I prefer a few paragraphs as a response, but I understand sometimes a short response is necessary, and I can work with that.
I prefer my partners to be at least 21. (I'm in my 30s).
I prefer to write on Discord, but I'm pretty open to options if you have other suggestions. I also am cool with OOC chat...I like to discuss our ships, plot and also just make friends in general!
Here are my ships/fandoms. I can write as either character in the ship:
Castle: Castle/Beckett (This is my favorite ship ever!) Grey's Anatomy: Meredith/Derek NCIS: Tony/Ziva House: House/Cuddy Star Wars: Anakin/Padme Friends: Ross/Rachel Charmed: Piper/Leo X-Men: Jean/Logan (the Famke Janssen/Hugh Jackman versions)
Like this ad, or go to my blog and send me a message if you're interested!

OK, this is Expedition to the Ruins of Castle Greyhawk (2007), a late-in-3.5E campaign book. It is a return of sorts — in 1990, TSR released WGR1: Greyhawk Ruins, which was an earnest attempt at creating a published version that matched the vibe Gygax’s ur-dungeon. That remains a somewhat obscure supplement, but forms the basic foundation of this campaign.
There is a fair amount of material on the city of Greyhawk and some important world lore before getting to the ruins themselves. The upper works are the remains of three towers — Zagig’s, Magic and War — each with voluminous, interconnected subterranean regions. These are vast, and not fully detailed. Rather, the book employs a system of encounter spaces and connections that creates an illusion of endless detail without the slog (or the page count). It feels super usable, with all the information for a given encounter (attributes, maps, tactics) all laid out on one or two pages.
I don’t know how I feel about it, though. It feels very very 3.5, for better and worse. Even allowing for that, this all feels somewhat disappointing, if only because it is trying to reconstruct a thing that never truly existed. The original, likely lost or unpublishable Greyhawk dungeon wasn’t a sensible place to explore, with a cohesive plot or anything like that. It was irrational, built on the fly literally to test new mechanics during the development of the game. It had a bowling alley for giants, and a portal to King Kong’s Skull Island. This book is, weird to say, too cool to be Castle Greyhawk. Or, at least, the Castle Greyhawk I am interested in reading about.
I don’t find the art direction very helpful. Michael Komarck’s cover has baldy Mordenkainen pondering his orb, in which a not-nearly-ruined-enough castle appears. Its the most distinct piece of art in the book, the rest of which is done by a gang of artists whose names I don’t recognize; it’s all workmanlike and adheres closely to the 3E art direction.
I dunno, this is fine, probably.

Castles in the Air
I'm extremely excited to announce that the game I've been working on for the past 4 years is coming to Kickstarter! Castles in the Air (CitA) is a tabletop RPG inspired by the novels of Louisa May Alcott and L.M. Montgomery. Players start as children with boundless dreams who will change over the years based on the relationships they form and choices they make. I think it's a really special game, and I'm looking forward to being able to share it with everyone.
For more information or to sign up to be notified when the Kickstarter launches on May 14th, please check out the game's page on the Storybrewers Roleplaying website. If that name sounds familiar, Storybrewers is the company that created Good Society: A Jane Austen RPG. I feel very honored that they reached out to me about publishing Castles in the Air. While Castles in the Air is a standalone game, its mechanics are inspired by Good Society, and if you like Good Society, I think you'll like CitA too as it allows you to tell similarly compelling stories.
I will be creating some blog posts talking about the literary inspirations for different parts of the game in the weeks leading up to the Kickstarter and during its run. I will be using this as a master post to keep track of all of them, so make sure to check back here or follow my blog if you are interested.

I'm looking for someone...or multiple someones if more than one person is interested...to role play either as Castle or Beckett (Caskett) from the TV show Castle. I know it's a show that has been off the air for years, but I also know there are still active fans out there, and I'm hoping to find at least one who is interested. I used to role-play as them years ago when the show was in it's original run, but haven't done so for years. I am happy to write as either Castle or as Beckett, and have experience with both.
I'm looking for someone who is 21+, who is a good writer and can write in paragraph role plays. It doesn't have to be a novel, but 2 or 3+ paragraphs are so much easier to respond to than a simple one liner. I'm not going to give you a one line response, so I expect the same from you.
You should also be a fan of the couple together...I want to write interesting scenarios, "what if" and "fix-it" scenarios based off episodes sometimes, and I don't particularly enjoy writing casework, so the relationship will be at the forefront most of the time.
I write the characters the same way I write fanfiction, so if you want to see a sample of my writing skills, DM me or reply to this message, and I'll point you in the direction of my work.
As much as I enjoy writing fanfiction, it really is so much fun to bounce the dialogue and actions off another fantastic writer, so I'm really hoping there is at least one person here who still has enough love for this fandom to write with me.
Also, please don't ghost me. I have been ghosted twice in the last couple of months, and it's incredibly frustrating to start a RP and build it up, only to have someone ghost you. I understand real life is the priority and everyone has jobs and families and sometimes needs a break. But please be courteous and if you need a break or it's not working out or you are going to be away for a few days, just let me know. It's not a big deal. I will do the same for you.

This is Castle Drachenfels (1992), which is maybe Flame Publications’ last Warhammer supplement. Or it is a weird interregnum publication by Games Workshop after Flame’s shuttering but before the Warhamer Fantasy Role Play license was handed off to Hogshead. Whatever the case, this is Carl Sargent’s adaptation of the castle as portrayed in the novel Drachenfels, by Kim Newman (using the pen name Jack Yeovil, 1989).
What you get is a history of the castle and its owner (the great enchanter Constant Drachenfels is a legendary, monstrous figure in the lore of the Old World), a detailed room-by-room description of the horrible place, scads of NPCs and several “adventure themes.” These last are interesting, in that they give motive to players to explore the castle while also acknowledging that the castle is largely unconquerable. No megadungeon is, but rarely are they so upfront about it.
Chatting to folks about this one has gotten some mixed opinions. It reminds me quite a bit of Jennell Jaquays Dark Tower or a less deserted version of Tomb of Horrors but with a sense of humor. That dark comedy seems to be the prime divider, as it is a bit zanier than what you find in the Old World up to this point — folks either love it or hate it. I fall in the love category. The castle is plenty horrible, it is nice to have what laughs you can squeeze out of the carnage. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it a stone cold classic of the line, but it is nevertheless as fine an example of a large funhouse dungeon as you are likely to find.

Hello people!
Looking for new roleplay partners because I'm itching to start new threads. I write an average of 4-8 paragraphs per response, but my lengths often fluctuate. I can very well go super overboard and do 10+, which is more likely than you think tbh LOL
Please know I expect you to take your time if you write these kinds of lengths. it's totally okay if you take a week or longer to get back to me! Please don't pester for responses either, I have a life outside of here too lmao
Only dm if you are 18+.
DM if interested.
looking for:
- Adv-lit writers/novella, minimum 2 paragraphs per reply with exceptions for whatever reason
- People willing to make small talk outside of rp (basically friendly writers :'])
- People willing to discuss plots
- 3rd person writers
- Bonus if you love angst or darker themes but not a bother if you don't
- Those comfortable with playing background/side characters if needed (I will also be doing this if required)
☆°•☆•°☆°•☆•°☆
Please don't feel pressured by my lengths, I don't necessarily expect you to match them, as long as I can work off of your response.
NSFW is not a necessity, but it's fine if it comes up. I don't like to rp PWP.
☆°•☆•°☆°•☆•°☆
I am interested in het, gl, and bl ships (including genderbent variations). I'm a multishipper, so feel free to let me know your ships, and I'll tell you if I think I can work with them or not.
CCxCC is preferred but OCxCC is also fine.
fandoms I am interested in rping (in no particular order)
- Chainsaw Man
- Jujutsu Kaisen
- Kamisama Kiss
- Wolf's Rain
- Project Sekai (only vivibad or wonderland groups)
- Ouran Highschool Host Club
- Beastars
- Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
- Omori (strictly no NSFW for canon ages)
- Tsurune
- Spy x Family
- Death Note
- Attack on Titan
- Fruit's Basket (1998 - I haven't seen the remake yet, sorry)
- Howl's Moving Castle
