CBC is up in arms about being labelled government-funded media when it is quite literally government-funded media. Frankly, colonist media sources hate having this label applied to them but demand that media sources from other (non-rich and/or non-white) countries that they deem inferior be assigned this label. You can't have it both ways, either apply it to all government funded media or none at all.

CBC acts like they're above being called government funded media and it's honestly just a colonial sense of superiority. The label doesn't even claim or imply that they're corrupt! It's a statement of fact that they recieve government funding!

I have no love for Twitter but this just shouldn't be a big deal.

I didn't think I'd play a sapphic film noir investigation video game set in my city of Montreal, Canada, but here we are. The game is This Bed We Made, we play as Sophie and she's the cutest maid.

The game is part maid simulator part investigation, the puzzles are fairly easy and fun to do. We get to choose who helps us investigate, and I chose Beth, the receptionist, and you can romance her! (She insinuated Sophie has a beautiful soul in our conversation, I had to pause for a second at that)

The height difference is killing me. Beth is also gorgeous, I snooped in her locker and found a cheeky photo of her.

Dozens of Toronto residents are now boycotting Home Hardware due to the company's "engagement" with a specific advertising company that advocates claim "lock out unionized performers." 

In a recent post to a local community Facebook group, one Toronto resident informed other members that the home improvement retailer was one of the companies named on ACTRA's (Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists) boycott list.

"Did you know that Home Hardware is on a boycott list issued by ACTRA, the union of Canadian performers on TV and film? Why? Because they buy their ads from a company that has locked out unionized performers for the last year in an attempt to break the union," the post reads.

Other companies listed on the ACTRA lockout include H&R Block, Canadian Tire, Rogers, Wendy's, and Sleep Country.

So back in the pilot days (dramatic music) all we really had for extra Hazbin content was art streams and the Hunicast! During multiple Hunicasts, Ed Bosco (Al's pilot VA and now our favorite cowboy Striker- also go check out his twitch streams they're funny as hell) used to DOG Canada any chance he got. People would donate from Canada and he'd go "Oh, that's not real money!" in Al's voice. Just absolutely roast Canada any chance he got.

So, when I was writing, I was like...I have the opportunity to do the funniest thing right now. And I threw it in lmaooo. In-universe Alastor just finds Canada to be tasteless.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corp. and Radio-Canada will eliminate about 600 jobs and an additional 200 vacancies will go unfilled as it contends with a $125 million budget shortfall. The public broadcaster said Monday that CBC and Radio-Canada will each cut about 250 jobs, with the balance of the layoffs coming from corporate divisions such as technology and infrastructure. Some of the cuts will be made immediately while others will be carried out over the next 12 months.
