When you tell him you can’t help it and you just get the urge to bite him sometimes, he’s even more perplexed. But, he doesn’t necessarily deter you from doing so. Mortals really were an enigma, though he didn’t mind trying to figure you out.

As time goes on, he gets used to it— almost a bit too used to it. It’s gotten to the point where if you don’t try to bite him, he begins worrying if something is wrong. Though the affection is strange, he came to realize it was caused by your fondness of him. So, all in all, he doesn’t mind… but he is definitely more confused about mortal customs.

# ALBEDO

Albedo is another one you’ve confused with human customs. He knows he’s a bit out of touch since he spends a majority of his time in the snowy scapes of Dragonspine, but Albedo had been made aware of other such forms of affection. This new enigma was yet to be discovered by the alchemist.

When you preyed on his shoulder, he was unsure how to react. His body instinctually tensed up as he was holding vials of chemicals in his hands, but other than regard for your safety, Albedo was at a loss. Was this an act to show you were angry with him? Were you hungry? Perhaps you were still in the woes of a teething phase?

He, of course, asked you what the bite was for; however, the alchemist was left more perplexed with your answer. A bite… out of love? A sudden urge felt when you see him? Albedo hummed in thought. He had pondered the action days after it had taken place, wondering if this was common occurrence in human society. Truthfully, Albedo hoped you would bite him again. He wanted to learn more about this anomaly— this newfound affection you had bestowed upon him. Maybe, it would lead him to understand you better as well.

# TIGHNARI

Biting Tighnari out of love will, for sure, catch him off guard. He thought he had you figured out for some time: if you were staring at his ears, you wanted to pet them; if you tugged on his sleeve, you wanted affection; if you hugged him for longer than usual, you were having a bad day. Things like those Tighnari had taken a mental note of over time. As thorough as he was, it seemed there was always something new he learned about you each day.

So, he wasn’t exactly counting on you to bite him. When you bit his arm randomly during your patrol with him, Tighnari jumped. At first, the thought that you had maybe eaten another hallucinogenic mushroom crossed his mind, but the way you gazed at him with a small giggle bubbling from your lips gave way to your conscious decision.

When you explained it was out of love, Tighnari sighed. He believed you. He had seen it before, but he certainly wasn’t expecting to be the one receiving such affection. Kaeya's teeth are chattering. He wraps his arms around himself, curling up in his seat.

"B-Bedo... This potion will be incredibly useful, but... D-Don't you think we could light a fire? Just for a moment?" He asks. His voice comes out stuttery and slow as the violent chill seeps further into his skin.

Albedo doesn't spare him a glance. "Not yet. There's an incredibly high chance that that could ruin this potion, and we've gotten so far already." Normally, Kaeya admires Albedo's utter disregard for his surroundings when he's working, but now that he himself is part of those surroundings, he feels more like a victim to that trait more than anything else.

Capped potion bottles and books with purely theoretical material jnside are strewn across Albedo's desk and the ground. Some have an icy blue fluid inside, fizzing with cryo energy while others mainly have leftover particles or are just empty. The torches that surround them are tempting him to just get up and light one, but Kaeya knows how important this is to Albedo. And besides, he's never been one to shy away from a challenge.

"I want you to put cryo essence in this bottle for me." Without looking away from the book he has in his other hand, Albedo holds up yet another potion bottle to him. One thing Kaeya does notice is that Albedo's hands are shaking as well. When he looks at his lover's face, he notices that his nose and cheeks are significantly more red than the rest of his skin.

Cute is the first word to come to mind, but the others are a strange satisfaction that the cold still gets to Albedo as much as it does Kaeya. "Essence? I'm afraid I don't understand, love."

Albedo's eyes turn to Kaeya before he bothers to move his head in kind. "Watch," He looks unamused, but not annoyed. "This is geo essence."

From Albedo's hands sprout many small orange dots in the air. Kaeya can sense the power radiating from them, but nothing about it other than it's orange-y hue and easily sensed power would tell Kaeya that it's geo essence.

Kaeya is not ashamed to admit that he isn't entirely sure how to do that.

"How do I...?"

"Sh. Look." Albedo takes Kaeya's hand, holding the backside with his own and opening his shaking fingers all the way with the others. "Take your gloves off."

Kaeya hesitates. Underneath these gloves are burn scars from when...

But it's Albedo, isn't it?

Kaeya takes off his glove, but that doesn't mean he has to be happy about it. His hands get colder and they shake much more, but Albedo doesn't comment on that nor the burn scars.

But he does look up at Kaeya with an expression that can almost be mistaken for pity. Kaeya isn't sure what it really is, subtly written underneath that inexpressive face, but he knows that Albedo is not one for pity. But doesn't he also know that Albedo would jump at the chance to question every little unknown thing about Kaeya?

It comforts him a little that his Bedo knows him well enough not to ask.

"Here, just... I'm not sure how to explain this to you. It comes so easily to me," Albedo says. His voice is softer than the uncaring, 'working' one from before. "You usually use your vision for combat, so... Try thinking about it in a sense other than as a weapon,"

Kaeya doesn't know what that means. Despite that, Albedo gives him a precious, hopeful look and he can't deny such a cute face. His hands move slowly and he squints when he tries to 'think about it in a sense other than as a weapon,' but eventually...

Icy, nearly-white particles fall from his hands. It's far less graceful than when Albedo did it, but he's still done it. However, that made his hands far more cold and his fingers are really starting to hurt.

" 'Bedo. How about that fire?" He asks, a nervous smirk plastered to his face. But Albedo is so concentrated on his work that he's already ceased listening.

Kaeya decides he's had enough. He knows something that will warm his hands right up, and by Archons will he do it.

Pulling his chair closer to Albedo's, he snakes his hands under his shirt and nuzzles his cold nose into his neck.

"A-Ah-! Kaeya, that's cold-!" Albedo yelps, almost dropping the bottle when he flinches. He sets the bottle back down on the desk, clasping his hands over the ones under his shirt.

"Hmm? Is it? My, my. That must be awful, hm?" Kaeya grins, nuzzling further while his hands travel further up in search of more warmth than his alchemist can give him.

"K-Kh! Don't, aahh..!" Albedo's doubled over now. One hand grasps at Kaeya's while the other goes to his face, not doing a great job at hiding his smile.

Wait.

His smile?

Oh, that's priceless. Absolutely wonderful, Kaeya has just dug up gold.

It doesn't escape his notice that his lover is blushing, either- And not just from the cold, if the way his voice cracks in his flustered protests says anything about it. "Kaeya, I'm B-Busy, Don't do this now-"

"Don't do what now? I'm cold, pretty boy. Can you blame me?" Kaeya's sly grin surely becomes obvious just in his teasing tone. He takes it a step further, curling one finger and dragging it up and down the alchemist's side.

Albedo curls up further, squirming so much that he gives Kaeya an opening to lift him by the waist and place him in his lap. " 'Bedo, darling~ It's just so cold, what else would you have me do?"

Albedo covers his face with both hands, gasping with quiet, badly held back giggles all the while squirming left to right. "Nnhnhn- Mmph,,! Kaeya! I have to wohork! You, you can't-! Mmhmhm..!!" He tries to curl up as far as he possibly can but it's no secret that Kaeya is far stronger than him and just pulls him back where he wants him.

"I can't what? I'm only trying to warm up a little bit, love." Kaeya's smirk is so fond even while teasing his poor boyfriend. Rather than running just one finger up and down those poor, poor sides of his, Kaeya opts to hold him close to his chest while spidering over his stomach instead.

Immediately, the dam breaks, and Albedo's sweet, soft laughter spills from his lips. "Kaeyahahaaa!" He whines, arching his back into Kaeya's hands, but all this does is bring his hand closer to that sensitive spot. "I-I hahahave to wohohork! Mmhm,,! No, no, h-hold on- eek..!!!" He drops his hands to push at Kaeya's, now pinching and massaging at his hips. There's absolutely no pattern to the way he does it and the electric, ticklish feeling makes Albedo's thoughts feel like they're shutting down and racing too fast all at once.

Albedo hadn't even known he was ticklish. He hadn't known, also, that he... Wouldn't be so opposed to the feeling.

"Oh? Do you? I'm sorry, this doesn't tickle, does it? I didn't even notice! You're ticklish here, 'Bedo?" Kaeya lowers his hands further to squeeze and pinch at Albedo's inner thighs, chuckling along with him when his sweet, soft giggling jumps to something more happy, loud and precious as he shakes with laughter.

"Ah-! Ehehe,!! P-Plehehease!" Albedo doesn't even know what he's pleading for, really. He does know, though, that this is such a delightful, freeing feeling despite the fact that Kaeya's tickling hands are freezing and attacking him in places that he's sure will kill him. He gasps between bouts of desperate laughter and grabs at Kaeya's hands, though makes no real attempt to stop him.

"Mhmhm~ What a pretty laugh you have... You'll let me hear more of it, won't you?" Kaeya starts pressing light, soft kisses to Albedo's neck and laughs into it as he scrunches his shoulders and squeaks, squeals mixing with unmistakably elated laughter. Only when Albedo really starts pushing at his hands does he stop.

Albedo melts into his chest, still giddily smiling. Kaeya wraps both arms around his alchemist's waist, pulling him up to face him.

"About that fire...?" He asks, to which Albedo just nods. Before he stands to light a fire, Kaeya presses a soft kiss to his darling's lips. When Albedo's arms wrap around his neck, he skitters his fingers just at the bottom of his stomach. "We should test out where else you're ticklish, hm?"

Hello! Sooo could you give us more information for autistic genshin characters? (honestly felt that alhaitham could be neurodivergent since the beginning so hhhhhhh)

Btw, do you have any reliable sources to learn about autism and such? I learnt recently that I may be autistic (self-diagnosed but the results speak for themselves) and I really want to know more about it

I'm also self-diagnosed! A lot of my information has come from other autistic people I've made connections with, as well as some websites like spectrumnews or additudemag - though these sites I simply used as a springboard for more in-depth research I did during my psychology and sociology classes using peer reviewed papers and studies. It's been a while since I did my own research, however, so I no longer have links to the papers I used :( The good news is that Google has a specific search engine for research papers here, if dense research papers are your speed!

And I would LOVE to give more information on autistic genshin characters! This is a bit of a long one, so I'll stick my explanations under a read more!

Albedo and Shenhe are kind of obvious imo, they have the classic "low empathy" thing going on (which I find that to be such a misnomer, autistics don't have low empathy we just express it differently), and struggle to understand and express emotions. Albedo uses art and alchemy to try and understand the world around him while Shenhe tries to find logical explanations for the concept of friendship.

Cyno is one of my favorite examples! He is not very expressive, he has an intense sense of justice, he is fiercely loyal to those he considers friends, and the entire reason he tells such bad jokes is because he recognizes his shortcomings and wants to be a better leader to the other Matra. He knows jokes can help ease tension and build morale, but he doesn't have the same sense of humor as most other people and tends to assume their lack of laughter is from a lack of understanding so he over-explains them a lot.

Tighnari's special interest is botany and medicine! He also has a strong sense of justice and left the akademiya to pursue what he believes to be a just and worthy cause. He has a tendency to get frustrated with people who don't understand him and he's protective of the people he's taken into his care. He's not exactly the Too Expressive kind of autistic, but he is more expressive than Cyno - who, btw, he is an expert at reading and understanding even when Cyno doesn't speak. In the 3.2 archon quest, he says something about Cyno seeming more lonely than usual, despite Cyno's demeanor and expression seemingly never changing.

Alhaithammmmm I love him he's just like me fr fr. Another person with a strong sense of justice, and he has a need for things to make sense at all times. If he doesn't understand it, he'll keep digging until he does, no matter what and the main reason he helps you in the archon quest is because of his own curiosity. His sense of humor strikes me as very autistic, too, but in a distinctly different way than Cyno's is. He is INCREDIBLY blunt, literally says "I do what I want" more or less, and is very adamant about the fact that "you can't save everyone."

Nahida is tricky because I know a lot of people will say that she is the way she is because she was locked up for 500 years, but I don't see that as a valid explanation. She has the ability to enter peoples' dreams and frequently ventured into the world in Katherine's body, and had the means to observe and learn about human behavior - something she spent 500 years doing. And yet it seems she's learned barely anything because she tends to try and turn emotions into logical reasoning and it doesn't work that way. During the archon quest, she gets confused by the traveler's response to things multiple times because she'd predicted a different outcome based on a logical inference she made using data collected from humans over 500 years. This is how she perceives the world and processes new information, almost like a computer. Sounds VERY autistic to me.

Diluc is, again, a character that struggles to express himself emotionally and has a strong sense of justice - that's a recurring theme in Genshin I noticed. He consistently does heroic things but does not see himself as worthy of being called a hero because of past mistakes, and struggles to reconcile his feelings in regards to Kaeya because of this sense of justice i.e he loves Kaeya and misses his brother, but can't forgive him for lying. (Or for when he chose to come clean, which honestly is very fair because that was like the worst possible moment to do so)

"Ok, but Razor was raised by wolves, so of course he struggles socially, etc etc etc!" Boring, lame, dumb take. Razor was, and still is, taught by Lisa very regularly. He struggles to articulate himself and speak not because he doesn't know how, it's just hard for him. When you put him in your teapot one of the first conversations you can have with him involves him expressing a desire to get better at speaking regularly and he asks you to help him practice, it's very sweet tbh. He is socially anxious and struggles to express himself.

The more I think about Klee the more I realize she's probably both autistic and has adhd. Her special interest is bombs, she has a habit of breaking rules even though she knows exactly what will happen if she does, and she's a little hyperactive. It's hard to say exactly whether all of that is both or just one because she's young, but I say both.

Yanfei! My gorl! Special interest is law and crime, has a strong sense of justice, she uses her understanding of law and civil code to express herself, is a little socially inept (but what adeptus isn't) but thrives when she meets people she meshes well with - like Yelan or Shinobu!

I know none of this was Mihoyo's intent, stuff like this rarely is, but I revel in finding bits of myself in the media I enjoy nonetheless!

• Klee wanted to spend time SPECIFICALLY with you and Albedo. You know, kids have those kinds of phases.

• Jean had some civil matters to tend to throughout the city, meaning that she would be out of office for a time. So being the trusting and reliable knight you were, she asked you if you could watch Klee for her before apologizing for the inconvenience. 🧍‍♀️

• I mean, ofc she'd ask you. 'Cause like... you're Albedo's s/o??

• Anyway, Klee was ecstatic to be around you cause she loves you. <3

• Meanwhile, Albedo was about to head for Mondstadt to get you, just to find you at the entrance of Dragonspine, holding Klee's hand to keep her in place and keeping an eye out for dangers.

• She was pointing towards the river, chanting out "FISH BLASTING."😭 Here you are, trying to calm her down.

• Every time he'd see you talking to Klee or playing with her, he would start to feel unusually warm. :))

"Klee, don't go too far out if you're not with one of us." Albedo informed her before turning towards the campfire. "I'm relieved that you guys came here on your own. Otherwise, the food would be cold if I had to bring you here."

The red elf hopped as she saw the sight of bass fish. It had some excellent seasoning, making her trot over to the food. You could've sworn you saw stars in her eyes.

You laughed at Klee's reaction before turning to Albedo. "Thank you for letting us over, Albedo dear. I hope we're not interfering with any of your schedules."

Albedo instantly shook his head. "Oh, no. You're not interrupting anything, [Name]. In fact, I made the next 5 days clear of any work. You're free to come over, you know?"

"Mr. Albedo, Mr./Ms. [Name], are you two going to eat with me?"

How could the two fo you refuse?

• After eating, Klee watched Albedo with some fun and safe experiments. All of the experiments had something to do with Dodoco. He also made her a little flower that he uses as an elevator. <3

• Time went by so fast that it was time to go. Even during fun times, your duty as a knight has more of a priority. After Albedo cleaned up, he accompanied you both back to Mondstadt.

• After reporting to Jean, she gave you very positive feedback. Albedo gave a quick peck on the cheek as a 'good job' gesture before leaving you to have some free time.

• In conclusion, babysitting Klee with Albedo was absolutely entertaining. She loved it, he loved it, you all loved it. Don't be surprised if Klee asks to be watched by you while you're available. :)

• Albedo had asked you if you and Aether could watch Klee for him, as he had some business to do outside of Mondstadt.

• Klee calls you guys "Knight couple" btw <3

After spending a good five or so minutes of bickering, you let Aether pay. Again. Meanwhile, Klee was fiddling with something in her hand.

"What'cha making there Klee?" You asked her with an adoring smile. "You're very focused there."

Klee shook her head politely. "No! I can't tell you yet Mr./Ms. [Name]. It's going to be a surprise!"

Aether turned his head to the little elf with an intrigued expression. "A surprise? For who?"

"You'll see once I am done!" She cheered, "No peeking!"

After going outside Mondstadt's walls, the four of you decided to take a stroll to Windrise. As you were looking at the crystalflies, Klee came up to both you and Aether.

"Mr. Honorary Knight and Mr./Ms. [Name], I have a surprise for both of you! I worked really hard on it!"

• Klee gave you both little dodoco charms to remember her by! You could have sworn that you were melting from how adorable she was, despite sometimes turning things into hell. <3

• The four of you had some fun activities to do before having to head back to Albedo. He was just cleaning up the last of his project.

• Klee was walking with a cute smile on her face as she was being guided by you and Aether.

• I think that during this time of babysitting Klee, the both of you felt like parents in a way. Even Paimon knew that from the very moment you agreed to help babysit Klee.

HIZIES!!!! Is 🌸🐚🌹! I just had a two hour nap cause I was tired as shit- Anyway,I was spamming 🌺🪸🥀 as I does, and for whatever reason I was some how able to get her out of her comfort zone for shipping and we ended up with Scor(Scott and Scar) and Scango(Scott and Tango)(btw I came up with those names). And then a random quote turned into angst + comfort.

Scott not taking care of himself(Like every other fic ever- *gets shot*) so like Tango forces him to take care of himself by saying “time is fake, go to sleep” and just drags him to bed.

Saw this Reddit post about someone’s husband trying to khs but his wife(the poster) found out and stopped them.(Husband was trying to buy life threatening drugs, wife tells the dealer off) after that OP starts to show extra affection, even if it embarrasses OP or husband. Then like years or months later OP has a nightmare about husband dying, wakes husband up with the crying and then explains the nightmare and husband is like “why would that be bad?”, OP starts to explain how terrible it be if he died. And when I saw this, I was spamming 🌺🪸🥀 about how that is so Jimmy or Scar coded- So we’re doing Scar and Scott cause we more Scor in our lives.(I’ll force her to write some for this)

Setting up camp has become a ritual for the two of them now. Every night, No matter where they are, Scott chooses a spot and then Scar build a fire and cooks them dinner. He always cooks a little extra just incase. After they eat Scott sets up two sleeping bags. Then they crawl in, Stargaze for a little and fall asleep. It was just them.(This is very rewritten from an old Genshin thing I had in my drafts before just gave up on it)

a slice of life. ❀ ft. hsr + genshin men — synopsis. just little scenarios that have happened to me with this one guy that i think they'd do<3 — notes. wtv the synopsis thing said!! i just think how these little scenarios went down in real life was so cute that i wanted to write something about it!! — heads up. hopeless romantic thoughts, these can be simple situations, but when i word it out, it becomes overly romantic. thats the warning yes, btw modern au!

・ you can't help but feel bored in class, watching the clock go 'tick-tock! tick-tock! tick-tock!'. your pretty seatmate just happens to be taking notes as the teacher discussed about something.. tapping his shoulder, he looks to you, blinking a few times in confusion. you give a cheeky smile and gesture you want to draw something, your ball pen in the air trying to write out words, blinking a few times again, he lends you his empty hand. looking back in confusion, realizing he wants you to draw on his hand. you do it with an enthusiastic look, leaning your chairs closer together, to get a closer look and tattoo his hand like an artist. as he tried to listen more to the discussion, he can't help but let a chuckle out at your happy expression as you drew stars, cats, and what not on his hand. and 'till class ends, he walks to the canteen with you on his other arm, and the other with doodles all over, out in the open for his friends to see.

I think Albedo would go bonker over Tartaglia’s foul legacy bcs of his scientific curiosity. Even regular Tartaglia, if he tested the traveler in 2.3 event I bet he would also love to test Tartaglia’s strength and all. I can see Tartaglia all happy bcs “omg dream date he’s gonna watch me beat up things this is it the best moment of my life!!” LMAO. There’s also the way they both view themselves as living tools, Albedo is Rhinedottir’s creation and followed her orders until now (and even still do, as “finding the truth and meaning of this world” is his final assignment) while Tartaglia prefer to live as a weapon and follows every of the Cryo Archon’s order,,,, and ironically man would that improve Mondstadt and Snezhnaya relation, two important effective of their government getting together though do you think they would make it public ?? would they keep the relationship private?

I really like their dynamic, being able to be frank with each other as Albedo’s not the best in social skill while Tartaglia doesn’t really care for social standing,,,,, I think the tall extrovert with the short introvert is also very cute I love that for them 🫶 and their boba in your last post 🫶🫶🫶🫶 since you draw them in modern au as well, is there anything u wanna say about modern ChiBedo ?? I bet albedo would get unconsciously distracted by Tartaglia that he just forgets to do whatever research/observation he was supposed to do and he has no clue what to tell Tartaglia. He goes "um. They really can help each other figure out the meaning of their existences - finding joy in staying true to their values, protecting those they love! I bet - for the initial part of their relationship, they wouldn't even know they liked each other back. Albedo, while secretive about Tartaglias identity as a harbinger - would talk about him to lisa, and Lisa has to exasperatedly point out that - Yes, you're down terrible for him. Yes, he's down awfully terrible for you too. I doubt they ever established it in actual words that they are in a relationship, but their increasingly affectionate actions already speak for themselves. Chibedo is so healing!!!

Ohhh modern chibedo... I have so many thoughts and so many AUs but of course my favorite is always the college/uni aus 😂 !

Of course, these are my personal portrayal/imaginations of them, they're not to everyones taste!

Firstly, just like their Genshin counterparts, they'd fall in love unwittingly and slowly - but never realise it until the first direct glance across the classroom or office, and both violently recoil away - when they realise that SHIT they're both blushing.

Tartaglia and Albedo's dates would be a little closer to parallel play than being romantic (? Not sure how to explain this...)

I doubt that they'd go out all that much, but when they do go out I bet they'd love action packed or competitive activities (albedo dies of social exhaustion ten minutes after they're done.).

When Tartaglia initiates activities, they're usually exciting, adrenaline-filled activities like go-kart and theme-parks (and fishing too, as an exception) - while Albedo would prefer activities that require more focus, like roller-skating or ice-skating, hiking and cycling.

Imagine the cute scenarios for each one...Albedo's 😐 face on a rollercoaster while Tartaglia is laughing, holding hands as they skate, or albedo falling asleep next to Tartaglia as he fishes... Or Tartaglia becoming insanely good at arcade games the moment albedo points out a prize that he fancies... Wow I hate chibedo ew ew ew ew
