Thank you I do not have any coherent thoughts about them! Here is the most garbled, jumbled chibedopost ever

There's nothing more romantic (/sarc) than an ... unsolicited visitor on one's lonely abode especially when (1) he's a fatui harbinger (2) one is a knight of favonius (3) he's out for violence and some tomfoolery. Tartaglias burning passion (to get stronger and dominate the world), and Albedo's unwavering curiosity (to know more about his origins, the world and that which lies beyond) overlap nicely, and I think that makes them so :) able to click.

One of the things I like to think about is also what they have in common - they're both kind of insane actually and in a way, not human?? I mean Tartaglia definitely is just a guy but I think his dead fish eyes and otherworldly ideals give him a little more dimension as ...different from most humans! And of course we know that albedo is chalk which is SO lame of him honestly! I can't believe he has such a cool princely title! I love the fighter/knight/weapon x royalty trope so much.

My favorite in game chibedo crumbs is how Tartaglia's theme (Letter from Ajax) has a similar leitmotif to All-Conquering Tide - this was firstly used in his story quest with teucer (iirc), and the name is an obvious nod to Tartaglia. Guess where else this soundtrack is used? It's literally dragonspines battle ost and dragonspine practically belongs to albedo. WHY DO THEY HAVE MATCHING THEMES 😂. On the topic of dragonspine, it's stated often that Tartaglia goes to dragonspine bc it's reminiscent of his homeland - in the first few seconds of his character introduction, he's shown in Dragonspine! (Also this is me clutching at straws so thin they might as well not be there - but he was catching a ginkgo leaf, a sign of love and longevity. I know this likely refers to the long lasting reign of the tsaritsa and the fact that he has a family he loves and protects but like 😂...haha long lasting love/nsrs) They have got to have met sometime - and don't get me started on Subject 2/Rubedo messing with him...

The only local speciality in Dragonspine is also starconches, and there's only one person who uses those - I shall not name him!

I think Albedo would go bonker over Tartaglia’s foul legacy bcs of his scientific curiosity. Even regular Tartaglia, if he tested the traveler in 2.3 event I bet he would also love to test Tartaglia’s strength and all. I can see Tartaglia all happy bcs “omg dream date he’s gonna watch me beat up things this is it the best moment of my life!!” LMAO. There’s also the way they both view themselves as living tools, Albedo is Rhinedottir’s creation and followed her orders until now (and even still do, as “finding the truth and meaning of this world” is his final assignment) while Tartaglia prefer to live as a weapon and follows every of the Cryo Archon’s order,,,, and ironically man would that improve Mondstadt and Snezhnaya relation, two important effective of their government getting together though do you think they would make it public ?? would they keep the relationship private?

I really like their dynamic, being able to be frank with each other as Albedo’s not the best in social skill while Tartaglia doesn’t really care for social standing,,,,, I think the tall extrovert with the short introvert is also very cute I love that for them 🫶 and their boba in your last post 🫶🫶🫶🫶 since you draw them in modern au as well, is there anything u wanna say about modern ChiBedo ?? Maybe the kind of dates they’d go on hehe

YESS I bet he'd be absolutely enamoured with Tartaglias foul legacy😭😭 THE DREAM DATE DIALOGUE IS HILARIOUS BTW it's such a Childe thing to say ... I bet albedo would get unconsciously distracted by Tartaglia that he just forgets to do whatever research/observation he was supposed to do and he has no clue what to tell Tartaglia. He goes "um. Can u fight another lawachurl" and Tartaglia beams wider

They really can help each other figure out the meaning of their existences - finding joy in staying true to their values, protecting those they love! I bet - for the initial part of their relationship, they wouldn't even know they liked each other back. Albedo, while secretive about Tartaglias identity as a harbinger - would talk about him to lisa, and Lisa has to exasperatedly point out that - Yes, you're down terrible for him. Yes, he's down awfully terrible for you too. I doubt they ever established it in actual words that they are in a relationship, but their increasingly affectionate actions already speak for themselves. Chibedo is so healing!!!

Ohhh modern chibedo... I have so many thoughts and so many AUs but of course my favorite is always the college/uni aus 😂 !

Of course, these are my personal portrayal/imaginations of them, they're not to everyones taste!

Firstly, just like their Genshin counterparts, they'd fall in love unwittingly and slowly - but never realise it until the first direct glance across the classroom or office, and both violently recoil away - when they realise that SHIT they're both blushing.

Tartaglia and Albedo's dates would be a little closer to parallel play than being romantic (? Not sure how to explain this...)

I doubt that they'd go out all that much, but when they do go out I bet they'd love action packed or competitive activities (albedo dies of social exhaustion ten minutes after they're done.).

When Tartaglia initiates activities, they're usually exciting, adrenaline-filled activities like go-kart and theme-parks (and fishing too, as an exception) - while Albedo would prefer activities that require more focus, like roller-skating or ice-skating, hiking and cycling.

Imagine the cute scenarios for each one...Albedo's 😐 face on a rollercoaster while Tartaglia is laughing, holding hands as they skate, or albedo falling asleep next to Tartaglia as he fishes... Or Tartaglia becoming insanely good at arcade games the moment albedo points out a prize that he fancies... Wow I hate chibedo ew ew ew ew

I’m not much into ships so I don’t know anything about ChiBedo… they are both my fav characters and Id love to know about their pairing though so please use this as an excuse to introduce me to ChiBedo and ramble about them as much as you want 🫶🫶🫶🫶

Ohhh!! I suppose I'll start off with the pairing itself! I simply love their dynamic - both created by the stained hands of the abyss (Skirk and Rhinnedottir) and are slowly finding meaning in themselves as people - artificial creation and a weapon. I heard someone refer to them as nation destroyers, and I love that so much! They're definitely the type to - quite literally - destroy worlds and destroy themselves for each other .. They're both a little messed up up there isn't that wonderful...

I think Tartaglias bloodthirsty nature and abyssal relations would certainly draw out an unbridled curiosity in albedo. Tartaglia would revel in sparring against such an unexpectedly horrifying power, and forcing albedo to idk...use more of it... Knowing albedo is strong enough to 1hko the both of them if he just used his true power would rile Tartaglia right up:}!

Not sure if u prefer domestic, cuter scenarios, so I'll add some here in case the prior was a little . Lame?

As someone with many siblings and a bug secret to hide, I don't think Tartaglia would have much trouble relating to albedo and klee. I bet he'd even dote on the youngin, and encourage her fish blasting and terraforming - and klee would absolutely adore him! (Albedo now lives in constant fear of Jean - and the repercussions that would come with the damage the duo have done.......)

As albedo acclimates (haha get it. Cause dragonspine is cold and you acclimate to colder temperaturs. I'll stop now) to such frequent, close human relations, he slowly learns more about this perceived "truth of this world". what it means as humans, to live for happiness and all that's good in the world!

I also bet his blunt and straightforward nature allows him to express this without much qualm, and has no problems showing his affection for Tartaglia whenever:] pulling him into a hug slowly evolves from an odd, unfamiliar gesture to second nature.

I enjoyed this so much they're so so sweet with each other...this was such a comfort to read, especially their initial interactions... I had a good laugh at their quips! Both u and ur partner write beautifully, and I enjoyed the entire segment with the coffee and stew... Albedo lucked out! get urself a man who whips up a banger stew!

The hinting of the plant from the very beginning was satisfying too, and I almost didn't catch it! Beautifully paced, and detailed in the right places :) I'm excited for more of their interactions and hopefully more coffee breaks with each other!

So much more I could say about everything but I didn't want to sound draggy, thank u for sending this to me I love u/p and this was such a delight!! Thank you for feeding chibedo nation the way Tartaglia fed albedo (we are eating well)
