Carlos was wearing a white vest with a button up shirt over it, all undone and a pair of denim jeans.

His hair was damp from the shower, Charles had never seen him so dressed up before.

They arrived at the place at exactly 7. The traffic was a pain in the ass so it took them about 30 minutes to arrive.

The restaurant was dimly lit, candles and roses at every table.

A bit too romantic for the occasion.

Beautiful paintings hung on the walls, the ceramic floors blinding whoever steps on them.

Their eyes searched the restaurant for Lando and Oscar.

Lando was endlessly conversing, or rather telling, with Oscar. Upon noticing them, he quickly gestured over to the table, "Over here!"

Charles grabbed Carlos's hand, who didn't protest, to take them over.

They sat in front of them, Lando facing Charles and Oscar facing Carlos.

It was safe to say that Oscar and Carlos were unhappy with this arrangement.

Especially after their on track banter.

The silence was most definitely not awkward; so of course Carlos wasn't thankful when the waiter came.

Lando being the picky eater he is, ordered chicken nuggets.

Oscar ordered the shrimp; specifically because Lando would try and steal his food later and he hates seafood

Carlos ordered the grilled chicken, and Charles being the basic bitch he is, ordered pasta.

"So when did you two start dating?" asksed Lando with a mouth full of chicken.

"Recently actually," replied Charles, not wanting to say they started fake dating a week ago, "how about you two?"

Charles picked up on the hurt in Carlos's eyes.

He dropped his hand to grip Carlos's, trying to comfort him.

And also keep up the illusion.

It must've worked because he felt Carlos relax into the touch.

At this point, Carlos had gotten fed up with all the small talk and decided to take things a step further.

A little more dangerous.

He wore a smug smile, "Here try this mon carino"

Charles tried to grab his fork but Carlos shook his head.

He lifted the fork up to Charles's mouth and slowly fed him, making sure he savored every moment of it.

Both Lando and Oscar looked very taken back, but neither Carlos nor Charles payed any attention to it.

Taking the fork out of his mouth, he lent into his ear, a seductive tone coating his lips.

Cuando Dánao arribó a su nuevo reino, supo que la ciudad era azotada por una sequía desde hace mucho tiempo, desde que Poseidón la castigó secando los ríos y arroyos por habérsele dado en patronazgo la ciudad a Hera y no a él.

Una de las Danaides, Amimone, fue enviada en busca de agua con la orden de aplacar la ira de Poseidón en el trayecto. Mientras caminaba, la mujer despertó sin querer a un sátiro que dormía en el bosque. Iracundo, trató de violarla, pero el mismo Poseidón, invocado por ella, arrojó su tridente al sátiro. La deidad pastoril logró esquivar el tridente, que terminó clavado en una roca. Tras acotarse con Poseidón, Amimone retiró el tridente, y de los agujeros en la roca brotaron tres pequeñas corrientes de agua que formaron un manantial que ahora se llama Amimone, cerca del río Lerna, que ni siquiera se seca en el verano.

Del encuentro entre Poseidón y Amimone nació Nauplio (marinero), que construyó un puerto en las costas de la Argólide.

Egipto envió a sus hijos a Argos y les prohibió volver hasta que hubiesen matado a Dánao y sus hijas. A su llegada al reino, suplicaron desposar a las Danaides, con el objetivo de asesinarlas al anochecer. El astuto rey intuyó una vez más una trampa, así que los hijos de Egipto sitiaron la ciudad. Las igual de astutas Danaides cavaron pozos, previendo que la falta de agua les haría tener la necesidad de salir en su búsqueda. Dánao, mientras tanto, prometió dar a sus hijas en matrimonio si los hijos de Egipto levantaban el sitio.

Finalmente, se arregló una gran boda. El rey emparejó a sus hijas con aquellos hombres cuyos nombres fueran parecidos – como Clite con Clito, Estánele con Esténelo, y Crisipe con Crisipo – o según el origen de sus madres. En otras ocasiones, simplemente lo dejó a la suerte. En el banquete, Dánao distribuyó a sus hijas agudos alfileres que ocultaron en sus cabellos; cada una clavaría el suyo en el corazón de su marido. Solamente Linceo fue perdonado, pues respetó la virginidad de su esposa, Hipermestra. Sin embargo, esto fue sin el conocimiento de Dánao, quien estaba dispuesto a castigarla; sin embargo, los argivos la perdonaron y ella erigió un templo dedicado a Afrodita y Artemisa.

Las cabezas de los esposos muertos fueron enterradas en Lerna y sus cuerpos fueron enterrados con honores fúnebres bajo las murallas de Argos. Aunque Atenea y Hermes perdonaron a las Danaides, los jueces del Inframundo las condenaron a la tarea interminable de transportar agua en cántaros perforados con cedazos.

Linceo e Hiermestra vivieron juntos después de que Dánao volvió a casar a las demás. Propuso que, aquellos que pretendieran a sus hijas, corrieran una carrera, y según fueran llegando a la meta, elegirían a la que sería su esposa. Desgraciadamente, la reputación que ahora tenían de asesinas influyó en que fueran muy pocos los dispuestos a correr la carrera. A la mañana siguiente, cuando los hombres vieron que los esposos de las Danaides habían sobrevivido a la noche de bodas, comenzaron a deponer el temor y participaron en la carrera.

Linceo asesinó a Dánao y gobernó Argos en su lugar. Y planeó matar a sus cuñadas en venganza por la muerte de sus hermanos, pero sus propios súbditos se lo impidieron.

Egipto, sumido en la depresión por la muerte de sus hijos, huyó a Aroe, donde más tarde falleció. Su cuerpo fue enterrado en Patras.

Le ministre de la Communication, porte-parole du gouvernement a publié ce 22 octobre 2020 un communiqué dans lequel il fustige ladite campagne, qui véhicule un message dégradant pour les personnes à la peau noire.

Les affiches sont choquantes ! Une femme à la peau claire assise majestueusement avec à ses pieds, quatre hommes et femmes à la peau noire qui lui font allégeance. Le tout est accompagné du message «Mettez-les à vos pieds».

C’est l’inspiration peu ordinaire de la marque CARIMO pour mettre en valeur ses produits cosmétiques éclaircissants dans le cadre d’une nouvelle campagne publicitaire.

Ces affiches placardées dans les rues de grandes villes, notamment Yaoundé et Douala et dans les réseaux sociaux depuis quelques jours, ont aussitôt suscité l’indignation. Des voix se sont élevées pour dénoncer une forme de stigmatisation des personnes au teint ébène, surtout que Carine Mongoue, la jeune entrepreneure de CARIMO, n’a jamais caché son goût pour la dépigmentation volontaire de la peau.

Face à la polémique, le gouvernement a dû réagir. Le ministre de la Communication, porte-parole du gouvernement un publié ce jeudi 22 octobre 2020 un communiqué dans lequel il note que ces affiches comportent «des jugements de valeur sur les personnes, fondés sur la couleur de leur peau et susceptibles par conséquent de porter atteinte à leur dignité».

Aussi, René Emmanuel Sadi, après avoir rappelé le dispositif réglementaire en matière de publicité, donne-t-il 48 heures à la promotrice de la marque pour retirer toutes les affiches de cette campagne, tant sur les panneaux publicitaires que sur les comptes de la société dans les réseaux sociaux.

Faute de quoi, le membre du gouvernement, la promotrice s’expose aux sanctions prévue en la matière.
