Addison had honestly thought it had started off as a joke between the two of them, a kiss while they had both been drinking and commiserating something. She had been broken up with months ago, but her ex had reared his ugly head and screwed her over with an unpaid bill she was liable for and he... well, Addison really couldn’t remember now. They both needed to drown their sorrows and have some fun with their friend, but one thing had led to another and they’d kissed... and then they had shared a cab back to her place... and then they had done everything in bed except for sleep. 

It had been a long time since Addison had felt worshipped, but by God was he talented in the bedroom and the blonde found herself craving more and more of his touch with every time they ‘hung out’. That morning, Addison woke a little late, but could hear him in the kitchen moving around. She could also smell something amazing wafting its way into the bedroom so she slipped into the tshirt of his she’d eagerly tugged off him the night before and made her way into the kitchen, “Morning,” she hummed gently, noticing a photo of him and a woman - a friend, she assumed - that she hadn’t met before as she opened the fridge door to make herself an iced coffee, “What’s cooking, good looking?”

❥ when he does find out / understand, i think he tries to be very inclusive towards you and supports your needs

❥ but then you start teaching him sign language in his free time. it’s a little difficult at first and he gets embarrassed when he messes up, but it’ll pay off dwdw

❥ i feel like sometimes ponyboy and two-bit join in when you’re teaching johnny. but pony’s more focused on actually learning and two-bit just kinda wants to learn cuss words

❥ if you have a cochlear implant / hearing aid, i think dally would be the most insensitive about of all the boys, leading johnny to confront him. confront hims kind of an overstatement, but similar to the way how he did at the drive-in for sherri (even if dallas calls him a little shit again)

❥ whenever johnny’s alone or walking somewhere, he thinks about the times he practices with you. his mind tracing back as his hands mimic the motions he remembers you doing

❥ johnnys overall very sweet about it, and over time i think he’d def get the hang of sign language

❥ yknow how some people have the little signals they do with squeezing their s/o’s hand? like three times means ily n stuff like that? i feel like regardless if you were hard of hearing or not, johnny would do that with you

Conrad said ILY to Billie after a maximum of one month of dating. It's clear that Conrad is capable of that. But why he couldn't say the words to Cade baffles me. And why stay in a relationship if u can't say these three words. I will say to the best of his ability, Conrad did try to be honest with Cade. Not saying ILY is probably the most truthful thing he did. It's clear he wasn't in love with her and was having fun. There's nothing wrong with having fun in the first couple of months when dating, but after a while, you need to be able to define what your relationship is and where it's going. In their breakup, Conrad said he 'tried' to make things work. Which means he knew things weren't great and was trying to patch it up. So he wasn't clueless about their problems. I am just shaking my head at how much of a mess and how much work it took for them to work. On the bright side, that provides a different view when it comes to Conrad and Billie. They were very natural and flowed together. It didn't take work, and less than a month, we already got the ILY. The difference btw this 2 relationship is clear as day.

The difference between them is so clear and obvious.

He kept "trying" to make things work with her in order to run away from his feelings for Billie. But even outside of Billie, Conrad knew what it meant to be in love and he knew that wasn't so with Cade. He knew they had problems and they just weren't a good fit but he kept trying. Their relationship was a struggle and he always seemed constrained when he was with her. Like he was threading lightly with her or walking on eggshells.

Then fast forward to him being with Billie. In their words, it was just so right. They weren't 'trying' to make it work. It was so organic and their feelings came naturally. They didn't need to work to get to the 'I love yous'. It just flowed. And you can see the difference in Conrad's behavior too. He just seems a lot more lighter and happier with Billie.
