Selenelion Update (Big One)
Alright. So
I've been mulling over this for a little over a week on and off, last night I finally talked to someone else about it and got some reassurance
I'm going to be putting Selenelion on an indefinite hiatus/rewrite period and deleting the current two chapters off of AO3
There are a couple of reasons for this.
as I've worked on it this month, I found I didn't like the direction it was going. Not even in a "i'm a writer and hate practically everything i do" way, but in a "this feels wrong way." The best way I can describe it is that it feels like an inaccurate portrayal of the relationship I've had in a my head and I want to do it better
I want to finish the series before I do the full arc of their relationship. Before I thought I wouldn't have to do this until I started learning more about the newest seasons (and Lloyd's character in them) and realized that as it stands, I think I could write a better series if I had more... i guess the best way to describe it is reference material? Especially because I think Jackie would be a major player in things involving Harumi and Garmadon's resurrection because of her status as a previous student of Garmadon's (as it stands I'm not sure if she pities Harumi or wants to smack her but it's probably both)
I want to give Jackie more of a starring role in her own story. When I first revamped my OCs, I took them from being super plot involved to being the opposite because insecurity is a bitch, and that left Jackie being kind of a footnote while the main characters did cool main character shit. To put it in perspective, Jackie was not planned to go with the ninja at all to fight Morro. Her boyfriend gets possessed by an ugly ass ghost and instead of going through hell and highwater (literally high water splashing every ghost she sees in the face) to rescue him, she got left behind.
So because of all of those reasons, I'm putting the fic back on the shelf for now until I can do it justice. This also means that I'll be deleting the current two chapters off of AO3 (don't worry! they are safe and sound in my google drive)
This wasn't an easy choice, I hate quitting things and I hate that it feels like i'm giving up, but I do plan to rewrite the fic in the future, probably longer than 10 chapters this time around.
I want to thank everyone who's supported the fic so far, it means so much that people enjoyed the chapters that were just about my favoritest child (Jackie) and rest assured she will get more of her own content in the future. Big thank you to toastingpencils37, who left comments and built confidence in me that this story is something people want to read
And thank you for reading this, I apologize for any upset this may cause, but for the sake of not just leaving the fic dead in the water (and my sanity as a writer), I feel this is the best choice

Ghostbusters au
Bioluminescence is a thing where animals can glow naturally.
Squids specifically Firefly Squids are known to have this.
The pre-eminent is a tentacled eldritch horror
The Original asker mentioned Misako and the Original specter slayers getting exposed to ectoplasm and gaining powers from it
Since Misako got the most exposure due to the Preminent and may have stolen her right to rule over the Cursed Realm unknowingly
Misako glowing like a squid whenever it’s dark enough or ghosts are nearby
[The ninja and Misako are equipped with proton packs, they are searching the museum for a potentially sighted ghost attempting to steal artifacts. Misako has her old jumpsuit on and is trying to sense the ghosts.
Misako: Oh yeah there’s a ghost here.
Kai: Really how can you tell?
Misako: My hair it just floats up and apparently I glow.
[Misako’s braid has risen up and come undone. Now her hair floats every which way upwards. Her skin also has a light tinge of glowing green.]
Zane: I now see where Lloyd gets his glowing good lucks.
[Misako starts to giggle but presses onward.]
Misako: I needed that.
[Morro and the ghosts appear. Three of them begin possessing the Garmadon, Samukai, and Kozu displays. The ninja ready their proton packs aiming at the now moving displays. Misako takes out her vengestone Katana and glares with glowing eyes.]
Misako: Evil Spirits, your time on this plain are long past! Surrender now and I shall offer you final rites so that you may rest in peace at last. If not I shall have to use force!
“Samukai”: No…
“Kozu”: Our Queen demands her claim to this realm and as her loyal retainers it is our duty.
Garmadon: I’m sorry wife but I must do this. I serve a higher purpose now and that is the Preeminent!
Morro: Oh what’s wrong Auntie, I thought you’d be happy to see your hubby and son!
Misako: DON’T YOU DARE USE THEIR VOICES AND FORMS! BASTARDS!
[The ninja shoot the Samukai and Kozu models and hold the ghosts down. Nya throws the trap and it begins to capture the ghosts possessing Kozu and Samukai’s mannequins. But Misako is engaged in a duel with Morro while the ghost of Garmadon watches nervously.]
Morro: Wow auntie your age is showing! What are you eighty now?
Misako: I’M FOURTY BRAT!
[The ninja are able to finally catch up to the duel between Morro and Misako. They watch as the ghost of Garmadon stares sadly at the scene. Misako seems to gain the upper hand until Morro flies up to avoid her sword strike.]
Morro: Help me uncle, we need to retreat!
[Garmadon nods and flies up grabbing Morro, the uncle nephew duo disappear. With an apology from Garmadon being the only evidence left that they were there.]
Garmadon: Goodbye my love….
[Misako kneels down and stares sadly at the knocked over Garmadon manaquin. She cradles it’s severed head and begins to cry with the ninja watching on.]
Misako: My Son and Husband are gone now. The Specter Slayers long disbanded. Why do I always lose the people I LOVE?!? It’s not fair! When I get my hands on that Tentacunt, oh it’s gonna get ugly!
1, is Morro supposed to be Misako's son or nephew? You used both terms.
2, To be continued?

If you’re still in the writing mood, maybe some SLG Garmadon and Lloyd?
OHH let me try... I’ve never written for Lloyd before in a not-comic sense
“You’re doing well, son!” Garmadon shouted from below, looking up at the stone-brick wall Lloyd was currently trying to climb. They were in the large, empty (and questionably legal) ‘basement’ beneath Chen’s noodles that connected into Ninjago’s sewer system where they kept Clouse’s serpent and hosted meetings— a good place to train when the apartment was just too small.
“Gh— There’s barely anything to grab onto!” Lloyd complained as he continued to slowly make his way up the wall, about 10 feet off the ground. He could barely grip onto what little holds presented themselves in the wall, fingers straining and red at the tips. His feet held himself up awkwardly, being the only thing from keeping him tumbling down.
“Barely! There is still some grip to be had, you just need to look for it! A keen eye is important!” Garmadon called upward again, being sure to keep himself situated directly below Lloyd in case he fell. He watched his sons’ moves carefully, but never corrected him— he needed to learn to make decisions quickly and on his own while climbing, in case he ever found himself in a battle he could not win— Garmadon dreaded the thought.
“Why do I need to know this?!” Lloyd groaned as he hoisted himself up by another layer of brick, gripping into the stonework hard, “I can shoot pure— Energy out of my hands! I can launch myself 20 feet in the air! That’s 5 more feet than the size of this wall!” He continued to complain, throwing his head back in an annoyed groan before continuing to climb.
“You are too reliant on powers you do not understand,” Garmadon sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, “Would you rather be prepared for the worst, or face the worst with no plan? You can never rely on anything 100%, not even your powers!” Garmadon’s second pair of hands vaguely motioned, his top ones remaining ready to catch Lloyd.
“You never use your elemental ability! What about the day you have to use yours?!” Lloyd called down in a mimicking tone, hoisting himself up another few layers. He could hear Garmadon’s audible sneer from below.
“To think I was like this as a child. Suddenly I appreciate my father a bit more.” He rolled his eyes, then shaking his head. “You reach the top of that wall and climb down without me needing to catch you, you show me exactly what you can do with your powers to climb that wall successfully in five different ways. Then you don’t have to participate in this again tomorrow.” Garmadon called up, catching the excitement in Lloyd’s gaze as he began to climb faster.
“What?! No fair!” Kai groaned from the background, falling from his sitting position onto his back, where he was with the other ninja.
“You didn’t give us that deal! This is favortism!” Jay cried out, throwing his hands in the air.
“Of course it is,” Garmadon simply sniffed, earning a groan from Kai, Jay, and Cole.
“He is his son. Most parents tend to like their own children more than other children.” Zane hummed, the rest of the team simmering.

(Master of Emotion) Can you write the ninja, Garmadon and other EMs meet Chen on his island {Garm is mad that his son has been kidnapped} (You don't need to go detail in season 4 , you can add or change as you like} and Kai's first match with his powers
Ok so I worked on this and failed and eventually gave up on it but I think I can write at least the last part now- even though this ask is from November-
Also oh my god I wrote something with writer’s block something that wasn’t even RoaN I should not be this impressed with myself but I am anyway-
Jay and Cole are still fighting. The annoying emotions coming off of them is damn near giving Kai a headache, but he ignores them in favor of starting to eat.
Thankfully, Chen speaks up over the speakers, giving him a break from the bickering.
“The tournament of Elements continues. Fun time!” He begins, and Kai almost scoffs at it. Fun? Yeah, okay. They’re here to rescue Lloyd, not play in fighting rings.
“Would the following Masters please make their way to their assigned arena? Speed, Gravity, Smoke, Nature, Mind, oh, and last and hopefully not least…”
He pauses a moment, and Jay takes the chance to speak up.
“Huh, maybe we all got the day off!”
“Emotion!” Chen finishes cheerfully, before the intercom abruptly shuts off.
Kai flashes Jay a glare. “Way to jinx it.” He grumbles.
The other winces, and as Cole seems to be about to insult him about it, Kai can hear opponent- Ash, his name was?- scoff as he looks over him.
“The Master of Emotion? Really? That’s a thing?” He shakes his head. “That much easier for me, I guess.”
A mix of anger and frustration builds up inside of him. This again? Sure, he knows that it’s not a classic element, but he had assumed that at least other elemental masters would understand it!
His clothes shift to a dark, orangey-red as he speaks. “That much more embarrassing when I kick your ass without even touching my fire!” He shoots back, crossing his arms.
Zane tenses up beside him, and so do the others. He knows that he’ll probably get a lecture over this later, but at the moment, he couldn’t care less.
The other elementals have started to watch around, seeming interested in the argument.
“Fire?” Ash frowns. “Now you’re claiming to have two elements? Everyone knows that’s not a…”
Kai takes in some smug satisfaction at the way his eyes widen when he stares at the flame that he lit in his hand.
The emotion bleeds over into his clothes, the red fading as the orange turns slightly yellow. “You were saying?” He mocks, staring the other down.
Ash seems startled, and there’s murmurs breaking out among the other masters- probably because they’re not sure what to do with him now.
The Master of Smoke opens his mouth to speak, but Zane steps between them, a tired expression on his face.
“Perhaps the two of you should save this for your battle.” He recommends, giving Kai a disapproving look.
Alright, alright, he’ll stop. Not because Zane wants him to, though. It’s because he wants to. Yeah. That’s totally it.
He shakes his head. “Whatever you say, Frosty.” He adds a casual shrug to his words, noticing the orange fade completely into a mirage of red and yellow- a difference in color that only people who actually know him can really see.
Turning around, Kai goes back to his food, ignoring the harsh whispers echoing around them.
“You need to be careful, Kai.” Sensei Garmadon warns. “Your elements are powerful, and the combination of them even more. But letting your anger get the better of you will-“
Kai takes a deep breath, tuning out the rest of what he’s saying. Lloyd is captured, Jay and Cole won’t stop bickering over his sister, Zane’s already exhausted, and he’s gonna be all cryptic? Yeah, sorry, Kai’s got enough on his plate.
As they finish eating, he takes a deep breath. Impulsive words or not, he’s gonna stick to them.
No fire. Just feelings.
How hard can it be?
——————————-
Kai stands on his end of the wooden bridge, glaring at Ash on the opposite side. The Jade Blade is in the middle of it, and oh, yeah, they’re on top of a volcano, so there’s kinda lava everywhere.
Even with his resistance to heat, Kai would really rather not test if he could survive molten rock.
“Kai, Master of Emotion…” Chen begins, and Kai takes that as his chance to pull his mask up over his nose. It’s about to get serious.
“Versus Ash, Master of Smoke!” As he speaks, Kai once again braces his feet, preparing to move the moment he’s given his cue.
“FIGHT!”
With the word, Kai takes off running, hand reaching out for the green weapon.
But before he even gets close, Ash throws himself at the rope on one side and flips the entire bridge upside down, dropping the blade onto a rock below and making Kai desperately grasp for purchase as the bridge rights itself while he’s still beneath it.
He manages to grab onto the bottom, but a quiet curse escapes him as he realizes that the fight is definitely not in his favor here. Ash has the high ground, and-
Except Kai’s beneath the bridge! He could use the wood panels as a horizontal ladder and get in close!
And that’s exactly what he does, and once he’s close enough, he bursts through the bottom of the bridge, throwing a kick midair.
But much to his dismay, Ash turns into smoke, making Kai stumble as he lands.
He quickly regains his footing and makes another attack, and another, and another, and another, but annoyingly enough, Ash just keeps turning into smoke whenever he tries to land a hit!
Another brief stumble gives the Master of Smoke the chance to fully solidify and kick Kai in the stomach, hard enough to send him flying backwards and even breaking part of the bridge.
A quiet curse escapes him as he finds himself once again hanging above the lava, this time suspended only by one hand holding onto a broken piece of wood.
A spark of fear hits him, only for a moment, but it’s enough for him to create a force field below him, and use that as a springboard to push himself back up onto the bridge.
The fear fades, replaced by anger. Clothes a bright orange, he dives into spinjitzu- but even then, he can’t land a single hit!
As he steadies himself again, Kai taps into his rage, letting the emotion support him.
Super strength isn’t really the best power to have here, but hey, he’ll take what he can get.
Fists clenched tight, Kai runs back to where he started on the bridge, a smirk crossing his face. “Let’s see you phase through this!”
He uproots the bridge from where it’s held, yanking it upwards. The unsteadiness makes Ash stumble, and as he stares in what looks like shock, Kai pulls up the other side.
The bridge starts to fall to the side where it’s still held down, and Kai uses the momentum it gives him to swing forwards and land on a rock near the Jade Blade.
Much to his annoyance, Ash manages to land on one too.
Well. That’s actually a good thing. If he landed in the lava he probably would’ve died, and as annoying as the guy is, Kai doesn’t want to murder him- or anyone, actually.
He shakes his head, trying to redirect his focus. No, annoyance isn’t helpful, he said he wouldn’t use his fire powers, so having them enhanced isn’t gonna help.
They both jump for the blade at the same time, causing them to collide midair. They grapple at each other, landing on another rock. Kai throws a punch, and seeing as the little space they have and midair combat, he actually manages to land a few hits!
But Ash manages to wrestle free from his grasp, and Kai feels his eyes widen as he jumps for the blade.
Kai jumps after him, but he knows then and there that the second it took for him to process it will be the second it takes for him to lose.
Fear takes a hold in his gut as everything seems to move in slow motion. Midair, he watches as Ash starts to grab the Jade Blade-
But then a purple bubble forms around it, throwing him off.
His hand smacks on the force field, and the sudden loss of grip makes his jump go wonky.
Kai lands on the rock and snags the blade, a triumphant grin starting to form, his clothes a bright yellow. He did it! He won! He-
Then he looks down, and he sees that Ash’s jump being thrown off sent him falling not onto another rock-
But towards the lava below.
Fear grips him once again, but this time, the force field isn’t formed subconsciously.
Still with the Jade Blade in his grasp, he uses his power to create a plate large enough for Ash to land on, the field almost touching the lava below.
Thankfully, Ash takes his chance to jump off it and onto another rock. He stares at Kai for a moment as the field vanishes, his fear fading and replaced with confidence.
The Master of Smoke opens his mouth to speak, seeming stunned by Kai’s actions- but before he gets the chance, Chen’s voice rings out from above.
“Winner!” He proclaims, and Kai can feel his grin widen and clothes turn a bright yellow as he sees his teammates and even the others in the crowd cheering.
“Loser!” Chen continues, seeming pretty happy with himself. “Master of Emotion moves on.”
Holding the Jade Blade up, Kai almost doesn’t feel bad about the way his opponent is dropped into a trapdoor below.
Kai just needs to stay in this tournament long enough to find and rescue Lloyd- not to mention stop whatever plans Chen has with their powers.
But for now, he’s going to feel good about himself. He worked hard for this victory, damn it, so he’s going to have good emotions for a little bit.
Maybe.
Hopefully.
Probably not.
… ugh. Why did he get stuck with the magical mood swings?

In which Kai is the green ninja, but not because he wants to be.
Anon you have spawned an entire au and you should feel honored.
He didn’t really think it through all that much. He didn’t really think at all, if he was honest.
He just saw Lloyd – a kid, an honest to spinjitzu kid – curled on a floating hunk of rock in the lake of lava below.
Screw the fangblades, screw the Devourer, and screw Pythor straight to the underworld; who did that? Who just left a kid down there to be barbecued?
Not Kai Smith.
So he didn’t think; he surged forward. He shoved Cole out of the way, vaulted over Jay – he could apologize later – and grabbed the shuriken right out of Zane’s hand.
He ignored the nindroid’s shouting behind him and dove straight down.
Either this would work, or…
It would work. It had to.
It hurt. He didn’t know ice could burn. But it cooled the lava below him, and it cooled his path as he raced to Lloyd. There was nothing but steam and heat and rock and his heart pounding in his ears and – and then small hands, small trembling hands twisting themselves into his gi, and a head burrowing into his shoulder, and blond hair smacking against his face as he stashed the shuriken in his shirt and turned upwards.
How were they going to get out of here?
He almost didn’t hear the question.
He turned back to Lloyd’s terrified red eyes. “We’re gonna get out of here, okay? I’m gonna get you out of here.” The small eight-year-old nodded and held onto him tighter. Kai kept the boy wrapped in his arms, but inwardly he wracked his brain. He couldn’t keep the lava at bay forever – Cole had told him enough about volcanoes for him to remember the deadly pressure building beneath them.
Please, he thought, please give me something. Please help me – he can’t die down here.
I can’t let him.
A roar shattered the smoke around them, and Kai could have cried with relief. He hugged Lloyd tight. “Did you hear that?” The small blond nodded. “That was Flame – he’s come back! He can get you out of here!” Lloyd’s face bunched in confusion.
“What about you?”
Kai shook his head. “I need to get you out of here, Lloyd. I’ll be fine.”
The ground shook below them as dragon claws landed on the volcanic floor. Kai grinned up at the familiar face, only to gasp and stutter at the unfamiliar body.
“What are –“
It was not Flame; it wasn’t any of the dragons he knew. It was much larger, and its four heads all loomed over him and the small child in his arms.
It bellowed in his face, driving Lloyd to cry out and lean further into him.
“Okay! Okay – can you help me get him out of here?” Kai yelped and Lloyd screamed in his ear as a head grabbed each by the scruff. The dragon wasted no time taking to the air, and Kai gulped in clean air by the lungful as they raced out of the volcano.
Landing was an emotional affair; Nya tackled him to the ground, taking Lloyd with her and paying no heed to the impressive flying creature behind them.
Cole, Jay, and Zane followed next, the nindroid tag-teaming his scolding with Nya as he took his shuriken back.
“You are incredibly lucky that this worked at all! How did you even manage to hold it?”
Kai paused.
He hadn’t really thought about it.
He had just…done it.
“I don’t…know, actually.” Kai caught his sensei’s wide eyes – shock was an unfamiliar look on Wu. “What?”
Garmadon’s equally surprised face, albeit with a touch of amusement, unsettled him even more.
“What’s wrong?”
“It appears your brash behavior was not unfounded, fire master.” Garmadon sneered. He turned to Wu, who looked shaken. “I’m taking my son. Clearly, he is not safe with you.” He grinned a chilling fanged smile at Kai. “Until we meet again.”
Kai gaped after the retreating man before whirling to Sensei Wu. “What does he mean? Shouldn’t we stop him? He can’t just –“
Cole spoke up with a careful voice. “Kai…Kai look at your hands.”
“What about my,” Kai stilled. His hands were smoking.
That wasn’t unusual; his hands always smoked or sparked in some way, ever since getting his fire powers.
What they didn’t do was spark green. Small emerald sparks, sputtering and splashing off of his hands. He stared in shock, too stunned to really try and stop it.
“What the – no.” He shook his head and shook his hands to stop the fire. “No – no, this isn’t – no, it’s him! It’s Lloyd – it has to be!”
Nya was by his side in an instant. “Kai, I thought – you were so sure, you had the gi on this morning.”
Kai’s breathing came in quick gasps; he couldn’t tear his eyes off of his hands. “I was just – it was all – I was just jealous of the guys! I just wanted to find my true potential,”
He dashed over to Sensei Wu. “Please, tell me it’s just a part of that. Tell me I glowed when the dragon showed up, and that was just – just leftover sparks!”
Wu shook his head slowly. “Kai…I am…just as surprised as you are. Garmadon was right – your behavior may have been brash, but it was not misguided.”
Kai sank to his knees. “No…no.”
“What?”
“No – I’m the master of fire. That’s it. That’s all I am, all I want to be – you thought it could be Nya, right? She’s my sister – she – she’d be an amazing ninja, and you know it!”
Wu gently shook his head and reached for his pupil. The old man ran a hand down Kai’s back. “I’m afraid this is your destiny, Kai, not hers.”
Kai looked up with trembling eyes. “I don’t want it,” he whispered.
Wu nodded sympathetically. “I know. But Destiny does not ask.” The two stood and faced the others, Kai’s face pale in the red light of the volcano.
“Pupils, I give you your Green Ninja.”

(1) mystery || Mr E x reader
|
You were hardly conscious as the green ninja got away in the Bounty, leaving you to die. You worked for the Sons Of Garmadon, better known as SOG, And of course, Ultra Violet thought it would be 'fun' to try and raid the ninja's base. You tried to protest but alas, your opinion didn't matter to her. You weren't special. You were just an ordinary member of the gang who simply stumbled in. To be honest, the only reason why you joined SOG was because you wanted change. Change over everything. This world seemed so corrupt but it looked like you were the only one who saw it.
It turns out your just a pawn.
A pawn the Sons Of Garmadon used to get closer to the masks. They didn't care if you made it back or not.
You've always admired one of the leaders the most. He wasn't obnoxious, loud, or dimwitted. He was the compete opposite. Though he didn't say a word, you've always felt that he was the most respected leaders of SOG. I mean, he was built to be perfect. A cut above the rest. Sometimes you wished you could be an android. No feelings, no worries, no pain.
You saw black and purple spots cover your vision as you could feel yourself slipping into unconsciousness from blood loss.
Everything was soon engulfed in the darkest shade of black.
- ☆ -
Your winced as the sun's light blinded you. You soon opened your eyes, your vision slightly blurred. You could see a red and black figure sitting near your stomach, dabbing something on your wounds. He stopped again and through away the cloth and got a new one, stained it with alcohol and pressed it lightly on the same wound. This time, you groaned loudly, it burned. You knew clearly who was taking care of you, but you didn't know why. Maybe the Quiet One told him to? No, The Quiet One wouldn't care so much about one single member. And why put up one of your most reliable and skilled droids to do it? It just didn't add up.
Mr E looked up at you, his strange, red, glowing eyes slightly wider than normal, probably in shock. He didn't know that you would wake up when he was touching you. Not in that way, of course. You groaned for the trillionth time today and tried to sit up, to Mr E's dismay. His firm, gloved hands gripped your arms tightly and pushed you down, back onto the bed. It took a minute, but you then set your attention to what you were wearing. You had your normal black, ripped jeans on, which was practically uniform in SOG, and your jacket. But that was it. No shirt, no bra, no privacy. Getting embarrassed, you moved your arms away from his grip and sat up, swiftly using the bed sheets to cover your chest. Your chest had a big scar running across it, he must have cleaned of the wound Lloyd had given you during the raid.
He tilted his head sideways, like a confused, robotic puppy, but soon went back to his regular stance. He put the cloth down and scratched the back of his neck in awkwardness. It was strange watching his like this. Normally, he just stands still like a solider and listens to commands, now, he was almost human-like.
'Freaky.'
- ☆ -
After a bit of weird silence, you ended up letting him finish his work and patch you up. You sat up and sighed.
❝ Thank you, for helping me. ❞ You continued, ❝ I don't know why you did, your always so busy, and it's strange being face-to-face with you too. But thank you. ❞ You mumbled. He scooched over to you, and keeled down next to you on the bed. His hands trailed down the brim of his helmet as he soon lifted it slightly upwards-
❝ Mr E! I need you! ❞ The Quite One's voice boomed from somewhere. You mentally died as you were so close into knowing who he was. He practically shoved his helmet back down and calmly walked towards the God-forsaken princess, though, not before giving you a wave which you gladly returned.
'I wonder who he is?'

Surrender
(Soooo here's another part to the Rejected Prophecy Au. Creds for the AU goes to @mostlysunnydays and @cakeking-cole and the idea itself goes to @ceata88 ! Hope you all enjoy!)
_____________
Things have been strange between Lloyd and the ninja. It may have something to do with his father's last words to Wu and Misako before he sacrificed himself for his sake.
'Nya, you have always looked out for my son. I hope I do not burden you by requesting you continue doing so.’ Garmadon had requested, from where he was floating mid way to the portal to the Cursed Realm above.
“It would be an honour.” Nya says, head lifted defiantly under the looks Wu and Misako tossed her.
Garmadon nodded then looked towards his so called brother and wife.
‘Know this Wu.’ He spoke, his tone dark and vengeful. 'I sacrifice myself for the sake of my son's future. Not for you, not for Misako, not for your ninja and not even for Ninjago. You pride yourself as a great Sensei when you are no better than I was with the Devour's venom running thickly in my veins! You should know more than anyone else here that destiny is a fickle thing. Destiny decided that my son would be Ninjago's savior and no matter the torment and ridicule you, Misako or the ninja cast upon him will change that! And for that, I will never forgive any of you. I pray it rests upon your conscience until each of your dying days, the horrors you have all inflicted on my son. And know Wu, that our father's judgement awaits you.’ He hissed at his brother before nodding at Lloyd who couldn't stop the tears that fell into the opened book.
‘Sono, hokido, bo-rock!’ Lloyd had yelled, completing the spell.
'I will always love you son!’ Garmadon had yelled as he was launched upward into the portal, the general flying down afterwards.
After it was all over and done, Lloyd had left, taking Nya with him who had refused to interact above the necessary courtesies with her brother and the other ninja.
They had spent some time in a tiny apartment in Ninjago that worked out well considering that there was just two of them. Since Lloyd looked older, it wasn't too hard nabbing a small job stacking shelves in a small grocery store and Nya picked up her old job working at the auto body shop. It worked out. Until a week or so after the whole incident, they got a letter from the others. (Nya knew Zane and P.I.X.A.L were to blame for finding their location.) Apparently they're building a tea shop where Sensei Garmadon’s monastery once was.
It took an hour to calm Lloyd down after that. Just to know his and his father's home was destroyed for some shitty tea shop sent him off the rails. It took another hour for him to stop crying after the initial anger past. Nya was pissed. Rightfully so. His father's death had already been so hard on him. The night terrors haven't even begun to cease. Why in the name of the First Spinjitsu Master would they destroy their home?! They discussed their offer to return and live with them in the Bounty and help them run the shop. Nya didn't want him 10 feet near any of them and while he didn't want to be anywhere close to them, the shop was built on his father's grounds. They had to keep the business open or else they'd have to sell it and he would lose even more.
Nya agreed to go and assist, knowing they had enough savings for her to be able to take a few short weeks off. But she would not be staying at the Bounty with them. She used her old Harley she left in the auto body shop oh so long ago as her means of transportation to and from their apartment, keeping lloyd updated on everything that has been happening. Soon enough, the shop was done and opening day was here. He decided that he had been hiding long enough. Since he apparently had the third biggest share, he decided to at the very least help out somehow.
On arrival with Nya, he noticed that the Ninja had just returned, looking spiffy in their new gi, riding their elemental dragons. He didn't care too much. His father had taught him that not everything should matter to him while rebuilding his self-esteem.
“Well well. Look who finally decided to show their face.” Jay says as they hopped off their elemental dragons.
Lloyd didn't need to look to know Nya was glaring something fierce.
“Watch it lightning mouth.” Nya says, standing protectively before Lloyd.
“It's ok Nya.” Lloyd says with a find smile, placing a hand on her shoulder.
“Don't act so friendly with my sister you-”
“That's enough Kai.” Zane says firmly, shooting the fire ninja a glare but he kept glaring at Lloyd.
“It's nice to see you guys.” Lloyd says and that was sadly the truth.
He had barely seen them over the course of these months. Despite how they treated him, it was nice to know they were healthy and ok.
“Let's go Lloyd.” Nya says, tugging him away once Zane opened his mouth to respond.
Zane sighed as he looked down, guilt eating at him. They had been nothing short of horrible to him from the very first moment they met him. Not to mention when they went back in time to try and prevent him from becoming the green ninja…
“Don't you have better things to do than feel sorry for yourself?” P.I.X.A.L prompted him, crossing her arms and tapping her foot in the right corner of his vision. “Like making it up to that poor boy you your friends have all but tortured these past few years?” She says pointedly.
“Of course.” Zane sighed, following behind Lloyd and Nya, the other Ninja wearing unkind expressions on their face.
“I don't care what Sensei says. Once a brat, always a brat.” Cole huffed.
“I'm with you.” Kai nodded.
“Me too.” Jay agrees.
Inside the teachop, Misako had just finished stocking the shelves then turned around at the sight of footsteps, gasping a little as she saw her wary son.
“Lloyd.” She whispered, walking out from behind the counter and walking over to him- but Lloyd backed away completely, pressing his back against the shelving of teapots.
“Hello.” Lloyd says with a small, formal bow, face carefully blank and something in Misako shattered.
She caused this. Her son can't even look her in the eye. He doesn't even call her mother. She turned away, covering her face as Nya went to his side, asking if he was ok and if she need to kick any ass. Wu came out then to see Misako quietly crying into her hands and Lloyd looking uncomfortable nearby.
“What did he-” Wu cut himself self odd as he stopped mid step.
Shame washed over him as his brother's word and his actions towards his young nephew returned to his mind. He was so quick to assume, to pin the blame on Lloyd, who had done nothing wrong. Wu took off his rice hat as he walked towards his nephew.
“Close enough.” Nya says, holding a hand out to stop Wu from getting any closer.
“Lloyd.” Wu says and he looked on, both lost and uncomfortable as his uncle knelt from his allowed distance. “I have come to realise I haven't been the best uncle.” He began as Nya took a call from her cell.
Lloyd on the other hand was confused and wary. What was he trying to do? Was there another baddie out there he needed him to defeat? What could it be? He already gave up his golden power at their insistence and they all have their powers back from Chen, what else does he need?
“I know-”
“Sorry Wu.” Nya says, cutting him off. “Lloyd, there's been a break in at the museum.” She says, turning to him and he almost sighed out loud in relief.
“Nothing we can't take care of. After all, we're the ones-”
“They requested for Lloyd specifically.” Nya says flatly, cutting Cole off.
“I'll see you later then Nya.” Lloyd says then went to take off- only to bite back a groan once Zane called after him.
“Your gi.” Was all he says, presenting the updated one to him.
Nya took it and inspected it before nodding at it and handing it over to Lloyd.
“Go. We'll catch up later.” She told him and he nodded before taking off.
“What are you? His mom?” Kai asked with a scowl.
“I'm his friend. And if I act like his mother then it's because someone has to be.” Nya says, glaring at all of them before walking behind the counter. “I only agreed to help you guys with Steep Wisdom if you keep things strictly business wise and right now, we need customers.” She says, walking out with the box of uniforms and fliers before shoving them into Kai's arms.
“So why don't you and your friends make yourselves useful Kai.” She says, glaring up at him as he gritted his teeth.
She then turned away, going back to the counter.
“What? You want us to hang out fliers?! No wa-”
“Why did you think I ordered them to begin with?” Wu asked, slipping his hat back on and resting a comforting hand against Misako's shoulder. “Nya is correct. We need customers. I need you four to advertise. And no powers.” He says firmly, making three of the four of them grumble.

Lloyd just couldn't catch a break, couldn't he? First it was the weight of becoming the green ninja, then, it was the weight of being the green ninja, the pressure of defeating his father then the Overlord times two, then being guilt tripped into heading to Chen's island with the other ninja, then losing his father, all of that topped off with his uncles, mother's and 'fellow ninja's’ oppression and now this! A ghost who has possessed sand of all things, wearing the allied armor.
“You can't have the allied armor!” Lloyd yelled at the sand figure before him from his place slumped against the ground.
“The armor's nice, but it's not the only thing I want to possess…” Morro says, looking down at the chest plate before looking back at Lloyd with a smirk.
“What else do you want?” Lloyd asked, warily.
“You!” Morro yelled, lunging at him and Lloyd yelled as the ghost entered him, leaving a pile of sand in his lap.
“N-no! Get out of me!” Lloyd yelled as he gripped his head, the Night Watchman stepping back, horrified.
Morro only laughed as he took full control of his body, standing up now.
“Foolish ninja. I own you now!” Morro yelled then laughed loudly as the Night Watchman ran for his life.
‘You won't win!’ Lloyd yelled in his own head, unable to control himself any more, no matter how much he fought.
“Oh? Won't I? And who will stop me? The ninja that hate you so much for being the green ninja? Or is it your little girlfriend?” Morro mocked as he walked out of the room, towards the exit.
'Wait… You want to be the green ninja?’ Lloyd asked, picking it up from Morro's mind once he felt his jealousy at the word.
“I was meant to be the green ninja! Me! Not you or anyone else!” Morro hissed, stomping angrily out of the museum.
Lloyd was silent, watching from his place firmly in the back seat of his own body. Yet another person who wants to be the green ninja. Yet another person to hate him. Yet another blow waiting to be struck at his new defences he put up around himself, to protect himself. The blow can't land if he let him in, now can it?
'Then by all means… Be my guest.’ He says, surprising Morro as he allowed himself to sink completely under his possession.
Why would he not fight him? Morro sneered, taking to the air.
‘So you think you're so much better than the title of green ninja huh? You're nothing but a fool! You will only make my plans run through more smoothly!’ Morro thought both bitter and triumphantly.
'You'll learn on your own that having the title of green ninja is far worse than being possessed.’ Lloyd's voice echoed, barely there.
He closed his eyes as he let himself float under the deep waters of possession. Nya will be upset and his father too if he were still here. But they should understand. Here Morro was, inadvertently offering him a break from being the green ninja. A break from all the pain and anxiety. He would be a fool not to accept. If Morro wanted to take his place, fine by him. For now, he can rest…
_____________
“Sensei!” Zane yelled as they rushed into Steep Wisdom where Nya was serving their first customer, Misako busying herself with unnecessary dusting.
“Yes?” Wu answered, coming from the back with a sachet of tea herbs.
“We were getting the word out- “And there was this wind!-” “And our powers disappeared!”
“You were using your powers?” Wu asked, looking at them disappointedly.
“Yeah, yeah. We're bad students and whatever but what happened to our powers?!” Jay yelled when a sudden gust of wind blew into the shop, setting off alarm bells for Wu.
“If your powers are gone, something must have happened to…” Wu says, a feeling of dread washing over him.
“Of course.” Kai says, facepalming. “Lloyd.”
“It’s Lloyd!” The customer's daughter yelled, pointing him out as he walked through the gates to Steep Wisdom.
“I know that wind… That's not Lloyd.” Wu says and Nya looked at him alarmed.
“Not Lloyd?! Then what happened to him?!” Nya asked as the ninja all ran out to meet him.
“No time.” Wu says, turning to Misako, instructing her to take the customer's away.
“Step aside.” Morro says as the ninja a stood before the shop.
“Why don't you step aside and tell us what did you do to our powers!” Jay yelled at him and Morro was unimpressed.
“I want a word with your master.” He demanded.
“Floyd must just be going through puberty.” Jay huffed, crossing his arms.
“Enough playing around and give us our powers back! They aren't yours!” Kai yelled at him as Zane analyzed him.
“What? Being the chosen one isn't enough for you?!” Cole yelled too.
“Stop.” Zane says, throwing out a hand towards them, gaining their attention. “I’m sensing a foreign entity has taken over his body. Someone else is controlling Lloyd.” He warned them.
“What? The brat got himself possessed?” Kai huffed and Zane glared at him. “Serves him right for being so weak. But now it's our problem because our powers are linked to the punk.” Kai says, cracking his knuckles.
“You're wasting my time. Move before I make you.” Morro says annoyed.
“Make us?” Jay scoffed.
“I never had a problem kicking your ass before you were possessed and I ain't got one now!” Cole growled but the words struck deep inside Lloyd's possessed body.
Lloyd opened his eyes in the abyss of possession, fury he never knew he possessed waking up with him as well. His eyes shone with raw fury and it showed outside as well. He always reasoned that it was for the good of training the beatings he took from them, that it was to make him a better person. Now he realises that it was all out abuse. He should have realised back then but he was no longer the fool he once was. Now, now he wants revenge.
'What the hell do you think you're-’
“No problem kicking my ass huh?” 'Lloyd’ spoke, his voice mixing between Morro's and his own. “I'd like to see you try that now.” He says, throwing his arms open and Cole growled before charging at him.
“Cocky little- woah!” Cole yelled as he was hoisted high in the air by green tinged wind.
He was then sucked down towards the ground hard, grunting once he made impact.
“Get up.” 'Lloyd’ mocked, more Lloyd than Morro right now.
“Don't you hurt Cole you-”
“Or what?” Lloyd asked, walking towards them, green energy and wind in one hand. “You'll make sure I regret it? Call me names? Hurt me?” He asked, hoisting both Jay and Kai up in the air, using Morro's wind, ignoring said ghost's attempts to recover his possession.
“Guess what?” Lloyd says, tilting his head to the side. “The pathetic little Lloyd you all knew is dead and gone!” He yelled, slamming them both into the ground then blew Zane back as he ran towards him.
“Please Lloyd! We are sorry! Let us make things right with you!” Zane yelled as he was swept up in a whirlwind.
He grunted once he was slammed out of it by a burst of green energy.
“Make things right?” Lloyd whispered, looking down at them all as he rose off of his feet by the green whirlwind around him. “You all had your chance to make things right.” He says, watching them all struggle to get to their feet.
Morro blinked once he suddenly found himself in control again.
'Do whatever you want with them. But leave Nya out of it.’ Was all Lloyd said to him before letting the possession wash over him again, pulling him under.
Morro growled as he reached his hand towards the windmill once Zane pulled out his shurikens.
“Don't think you can get in control so easily next time, Lloyd.” He growled to himself as he slammed the windmill down on the four.
Lloyd didn't comment. He was sick and tired of them and of everything. Let someone else save the day. Let someone else suffer. Let someone else be the green ninja.
Nya looked out from the shop's entrance, horrified. She promised to protect him... Lloyd...

After Ninjago Season 9: Forgetting Something
It had only been a week since the Day of the Dragons, or whatever the citizens of Ninjago are calling it. Just a week ago, the four ninja and their master returned to Ninjago to take down the titan and help the Green Ninja defeat his father and restore both his power and the balance. Celebrations were held across the city and the island, for the terrible reign of Lord Garmadon had ended. Happiness was once again existent in the debris of the city, and as the city began to rebuild, everyone began to feel that normalcy was close to being attainable.
Everyone but Cole, that is.
At first he thought that perhaps he had left something in the Dragon Realm…something of value. Maybe his favorite rock he found on his third day, or the tooth of a dragon he wanted to make into a necklace? Regardless, for a few days he couldn’t shake it off. It was to the point where sleeping at night was almost impossible.
It was hard to turn down his immensely comfortable bed in the temple, but staring at the ceiling with an itch that wouldn’t go away wasn’t Cole’s idea of comfort. Instead, he returned to a cure that always seemed to work: staring at the stars.
After almost half a decade of exclusively living and climbing on mountains, Cole had grown very accustomed to spending hours of his night staring into the sky and making up constellations in the stars. This always made him relax, and it reminded him that he was miniscule in a world much bigger than any challenge he had to face. Now, after he became a ninja the challenges him and his team had to overcome seemed almost universally destructive, but just one glance at the night sky always calmed Cole just enough to remember that if the stars are still shining then there is light- and even in the dark of night there is hope.
Then came the greatest challenge yet- Cole and his original team of ninja waking up in a barren, new, and incredibly dangerous realm. For the first day, they searched the area for something- anything- that could bring them back home. Naturally, they found nothing.
Just when Cole began to panic, the sun set but the sky illuminated in a way Cole had never seen. There was probably double the amount of stars than usual in the sky. While that should have comforted him, it instead scared him further.
The stars were unfamiliar. None of his patterns were in existence. The map of the sky was redrawn in a way Cole had never seen, and that’s when Cole felt the true fear of the realm dawn on him: hope didn’t exist here, or at least it was impossible for there to be hope when everything he depended on was wiped clean.
Maybe that was why he found comfort laying on the lawn of the Temple of Airjitzu in the dead of night, staring at the familiar stars. Even then, he could almost picture the stars from the other realm… only because he spent nights doing the same as he had on his own all those years ago. Except he hadn’t of been alone-
“Care if I join you?”
Cole almost screamed in surprise. He flew upwards and turned quickly to see none other than Master Wu in his usual robes, standing patiently on the lawn as if he had been watching Cole for a while.
“Master Wu…” Cole panted for breath. “You…you almost gave me a heart attack.”
The elderly man chuckled lightly. “I wasn’t sure if you had fallen asleep with your eyes open or not. I apologize for frightening you.” The fragile eyes peered at a spot next to Cole. “May I?”
Cole’s pounding heart slowly returned to a normal pace. “Yeah, of course.”
With a groan of effort, Master Wu finally settled down next to Cole with his legs crossed. Cole had his knees up, arms resting on his knees and head resting on his arms. He still kept his gaze on the stars, but he glanced at his master to confirm that he too was staring longingly into the night sky.
“What is wrong?”
Cole did not expect for Master Wu to suddenly ask him that question. Furrowing his eyebrows, Cole responded, “How did you know something is wrong?”
Master Wu let out a thoughtful sigh. “Cole, I have known you for almost a decade now. Not only have I been your master, but I have also been your friend. And a good friend picks up on habits one does when they are nervous, afraid, or unsettled…when something is wrong.” He paused, chuckled, then continued. “Zane has a habit of not talking when he’s nervous, Kai is at his cockiest when he’s terrified, Jay rambles on and on and on….”
Cole snorted at that. “But you Cole….you were the hardest to figure out. No matter the circumstance, you always kept your mind calm and your composition composed. I didn’t know how until the first night I saw you on the roof of the monastery just staring at the stars. I’ll be perfectly honest; I was confused at first. But when I realized you only stargazed after rough training days or friendship quarrels or battles that didn’t go the way you planned… I would always soon after find you at the highest point possible staring into the unknown. Finally it dawned on me. That’s all you had when you were on your own. The one constant unmoving thing: the stars.”
He couldn’t make eye contact. His master put his unusual habit into words, something Cole could never do. “What do you do?” the student asked his master.
“When I’m nervous or afraid?” Master Wu clarified. After Cole nodded, a small smirk grew on the wise man’s face. “I make up a wise saying and tell you all. It always gives me a good chuckle.”
Cole’s jaw dropped. “All this time?!” he breathed in shock. With a raspy giggle, the master nodded. “One cannot be wise because he thinks he is, only when he is.”
“So are you nervous now…?” Cole raised an eyebrow. “Because that was a very cryptic piece of wisdom that sounds like you plucked it out of the worst Cloud Kingdoms’ monk’s studies.”
After a good shared laugh, Master Wu dipped his head some. Finally, he spoke. “Actually…I’ve been feeling off ever since we returned from the Realm of Dragon and Oni.”
The stars turned cold. Cole’s mind was relaying the exact same thoughts. “Huh,” was all Cole could say.
“I wish I could expand on that,” Master Wu continued. “However it is hard to continue when the feeling I have been stuck with is one where I feel like I have forgotten something.”
“What do you remember?”
The question was out of Cole’s mouth before he even had realized it was a question he had. Master Wu’s aged eyes stared back quizzically. “What do I remember?” the master repeated slowly as if his mind wasn’t digesting the words.
“Like…”Cole tugged at grass until it broke free. “After you turned young, what do you remember about re-growing up, if that makes sense?”
After a moment of reflection, Master Wu nodded and dipped his head. “To be perfectly honest, I don’t remember much, just flashes. The Dragon Hunter camp is all a blur. Everything before that is barely a memory.”
Cole’s heart sank, even though he didn’t know why. With a sigh, he let himself fall back onto the grass. His gaze returned to the stars. He was about to say something when Master Wu started humming.
With a heart-stopping pound, Cole recognized the tune in an instant. Even though he had just laid down, he sat back up in shock.
“That song- how do you remember it?”
Wu stared back at him, his lips barely touching in shock. “Er- someone….must have…sung that to me when I was very very young. Perhaps my father-“
“You don’t know…” Cole breathed. “You just hummed ‘The Glow-Worm.’ Master…that was me. I sang that to you to keep you from crying when you were a baby.”
It was Wu’s turn to sit up in shock. “But…” He narrowed his eyes. “I could have sworn…”
“Are you mixing your two lives?” the student asked his master. Wu shook his head a tad before hesitating. Then, with a defeated sigh, he slowly nodded.
“Sometimes I see my Father, and my brother, in my memories when I was a young boy, but now I also see…”
With huge eyes, Wu turned to Cole. “You, I see you, Cole.”
So it was true.
“I didn’t want to, I mean-“ Cole stuttered on his words. “I just happened. I kinda-“
“Became my father-figure.” Wu finished Cole’s thoughts. With a gulp, Cole nodded.  “I even thought of naming you Cole Jr.”
That remark stifled a snorted laugh from Wu. “I’m glad that did not stick. Cole Jr. is a terrible name.”
“Hey!” Cole snapped, but he was grinning. Wu chuckled too, but then fell silent. His gaze returned to the stars. “What was it like,” the old man finally questioned, not making eye contact. “…raising me?”
The teenager felt flushed. What a weird question, he thought, then pushed that thought out of his head. “Well, for one thing, it was exhausting. You had more energy than Jay after drinking three cups of coffee.”
“Deary me,” Wu replied somberly. “That must’ve been terrible.”
Cole tugged on some more grass. “You relaxed at times though. You remained calm when the Bounty crashed, and basically during any time we had to fight the Sons of Garmadon. It was weird…it was like Ultra Violet found you cute.”
“Ultra Violet…” Wu repeated her name. Finally, he turned to Cole. “Who is that?”
“Nevermind her, she’s insane.” Cole shrugged. “You only drank tea, which we found weird until we found out who you really were.”
Wu chuckled but didn’t respond. Cole ripped the grass out and tossed it into the light breeze. “It was weird, that’s for sure.”
The old master nodded, his expression distant. Then he asked, “And what about you? What did you think about taking me in?”
The question bothered Cole. What did he think? He didn’t. He felt like it had to be done. He felt…
“I felt responsible.” Cole finally responded. “I felt responsible for everything, The way you walked, the way you spoke, the way you fought… I was worried, scared, proud, and happy all at once.”
The temple grounds fell silent again. Cole reflected on his words before gasping. “That’s it! That’s what I feel like I’m forgetting in the Dragon and Oni Realm.”
“Oh?” Master Wu raised an eyebrow.
“That feeling…that feeling that there’s someone more important than my own destiny. That there’s someone who is more important that the air I breathed or the ground I walked on or the stars in the sky.” Cole looked over at Wu. “Is that what you are feeling too?”
Wu laughed lightly, but he could tell there was wisdom and age in his chuckled. “Cole, my pupil and friend, that is one feeling I have not felt as you have.”
“But-“ Cole furrowed his eyebrows. “Aren’t you like, super old? And you’ve never felt like that before?”
Master Wu extended his hand and rested it gently on Cole’s shoulder. “My boy, that is because I have never had a son before.”

✨Ninjagoland pt 3.5: A Hasty Yet Action-Packed Transition!✨
"Nice try!" I jeered at the nindroid that'd failed to punch me. This was actually pretty fun, being in a fight alongside one of my fave ninja!
I attempted to return the favor, smacking it squarely in the head! But that ended up hurting me more so than it.... should've remembered it was completely made of metal...
At the instant, the gantry finally plunged! The sheer force of the fall launched Zane and some of the enemies into the cart's ceiling! The impact caused the already short-circuiting Nindroids to begin shooting lasers wantonly down at us!
I screamed and wrapped my arms over my head, hoping to shield myself somewhat from the blasts!
As luck would have it, no one's skin got scorched in the fray.......
But the stray rays had severed everyone's seat belts!!!!
"Hold on tight!" Zane called as he descended from the ceiling grate, "I'll try to find us a way out of here!"
The gantry wiggled for a bit at this stop, giving Zane just enough time to rid the vehicle of a few intruders by tossing them out of the open doors.
Then before we knew it, we were shooting up again, almost to the top! We could see the whole of the park from this open set of doors, but we were too petrified to enjoy the view!
Then, right as the ride cameras flashed, we plunged again, fighting to stay grounded as gravity forced us into mid-air!
"That's going to be some photo..." I quipped, trying to remain calm.
It now seemed like the gantry was free of Nindroids, save for the Ice Master himself. The ride pulled a wiggly-stop again before shooting upward once more, this time all the way to the top!
The lift locked into a hard stop, jarring us around. What now!?!?
None other than General Cryptor himself had pounced onto the top of the vehicle! Zane glared up through the metal bars at his new opponent, ready to strike should the other Nindroid make a move on us.
"Farewell, traitors!" Cryptor said, staring daggers down on us. He seemed to be referring to not only the Ice Master but Mr. Borg as well.
Then, he used his laser and shot the main lift cables on the gantry! Cryptor collapsed after the shot, apparently that had taken the last of his battery power.
We were now screaming down the track, both literally and figuratively, in full free fall!!!! There was no stopping the force of the drop as it ripped us all out of our seats, now left floating in mid-air! Normally the ride's brakes would catch us, but everything in the system no longer had any power running to it at all!
"I'm going to try and lessen our impact," Zane called to us, "NINJA-GO!"
With that famous battle cry, Zane focused his full icy power on the underside of the cart, as well as the sides and some of the air holes in the cage-like metal. He was essentially making an ice cocoon around us, with it being a thick enough buffer for us to land somewhat safely! But time wasn't on our side as the ground continued to speed towards us.....
The second to last floor was rushing by now. I was screaming my head off, mentally cursing myself for unwittingly ushering all of you guys onto a death trap!
Suddenly, a strange blue glow enveloped the cart. Then, an odd feeling washed over me. It was as though the world was in slow motion!
Apparently, it actually WAS!
Acronix himself launched into the gantry from seemingly out of nowhere, brandishing the Slo-Mo Timeblade! Despite our now sluggish state of hovering, he swiftly backflipped, grabing Cyrus Borg out of the air and slinging the inventor over his shoulder in the process! He cockily bowed at all of us before leaping out of the open doors, surely planning on vanishing into the crowds below. Zane missed this spectacle, for he had been looking at the ground when we got hit by the effects of the Timeblade.
Fortunately, the near-stop had slowed us down immensely, the gantry landing with only a sharp thud as opposed to the mangled crash it would've been otherwise.
~~~~~~~
"Brother!" Acronix called, grinning ear to ear as he returned to the hideout, "Look what I've found!"
"Excellent!" Krux replied, tucking his fake mustache away, "Not only have you reclaimed a Timeblade, but found the one person who can quickly repair the Iron Doom!"
"Who are you people!?" Borg asked in a mix of confusion and anger, "What is an 'Iron Doom'!?"
"We are the Time Twins, the future rulers of Ninjago!" Acronix boasted as he sat the inventor down on the ground, "The Iron Doom is, well, that hunk of smoking metal over there; but surely you'll know how to get it fit for time travel again."
"I can't believe you're falling for this," Krux interjected, "the man's clearly playing dumb."
"I honestly have no clue how to fix your apparent temporal plane-traveling war machine!" Borg responded, getting increasingly freaked out, "Even if I could fix it, I want nothing to do with whatever you two are planning!"
"Oh really!? Let's see how quickly you remember things when you're under Commander Machia's direct supervision!" Acronix threatened.
While his brother bickered with their captive, Krux began to suspect something was massively wrong. Borg, although incredibly smart, wasn't this good of an actor in any prior encounters that the elder Time Twin could recall.
"Mr. Borg," Krux said sharply, silencing the ceaseless arguing, "tell me, how many ninja protect Ninjago City?"
"Why should I?!" Borg replied.
"I am trying to find out if you are the right person we're after," Krux said, now cradling a temple with his palm, "now, how many ninja are there?"
"F-four." Borg answered, "Wait! Actually five. There was a recent addition, I believe."
"Thank you," Krux said, learning all he needed to know, "Brother, a word?"
The duo stepped out of their captive's listening range for a moment to discuss the info the Krux had apparently gleaned.
"Congratulations," Krux began, "you've managed to capture Cyrus Borg, circa 2013!!! Who come to think of it, shouldn't even be here, because this park isn't even in Ninjago!"
"So what realm are we in then?" Acronix replied.
"Apparently it's called Earth." Krux answered, "I found that out at this place's pathetic excuse for a museum. With the fact that Borg's not only here, but not even from the same year, I can only assume there's an issue with the time stream. This doesn't bode well...."
~~~~~~~
Zane had lifted us all one-by-one from the totaled ride cart to safety, and was leading us to the exit. We shuffled on, still a bit shaken from the experience. In time, we were back out in the sunshine.
"Are you all sure you're alright?" Zane asked us. We reassured him we were fine, despite our shock.
Satisfied with the state of our wellbeing, Zane was about to take his leave when P.I.X.A.L. returned, brandishing a techno chain-sickle! Zane expertly dodged her Overlord-fueled ambush and instead of returning the blow, gently touched the very tip of his Technoblade to her forehead. A small flash of icy light appeared and when it dissipated, we found that P.I.X.A.L's eyes had returned to their usual bright green!
"Zane?" She gasped as she lowered her weapon, confused as to what transpired.
"Everything is alright," Zane said, "however, we must find the others. Sorry there's not much time to explain."
They took each others hands and sprinted in the direction of Cars Land, leaving us all stunned in their wake.
"Well, this day couldn't get any weirder..." I muttered.
But it was definitely about to!
"Hello?" P.I.X.A.L.'s voice was calling from my pocket, "Can anyone read me!?"
I pulled out my phone, and we all crowded around to be met by the sight of her face on the screen; only she was in her new Samurai X gear!
"We read you loud and clear!" One of us responded.
"Thank the FSM!" The nindroid replied frantically, "We've been tracking the Time Twins, and just discovered that they've landed in your realm! We have no idea how this happened, but temporal anomalies have been happening with increasing frequency here in Ninjago, and could already be happening in your world too! We can't reach you, but you can help us! Please, find and stop these slips in the time stream! If they aren't fixed soon, the fabric of our realms WILL collide, with catastrophic res-!"
Unfortunately, the signal cut out before she could explain farther. We all glanced at each other, the events of our ride gone wrong suddenly making sense.
Silently, it appeared that we all agreed to accept the insane mission: hunt down the Time Twins and stop their mysterious plans!
But where would we start looking?
That answer came quickly, via a notification from the park app: "Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye has returned to normal operations."

We practically sprinted through the crowds, not fully sure what we had gotten ourselves into by the time we finally hit Adventureland.
We drew our passes and began our walk down the super long queue. As we got closer to the first temple building, it was starting to dawn on us that we had zero clue as to what we were actually looking for!
The crowd was unusually backed up, even taking into account how people mob the rides the second they come back up. The source of the setback was apparently a small boy, whose crazy enough to be wearing a black hoodie in 80 degree heat, arguing with a cast member.
"What do you mean I have to have a 'FastPass'!?" The child said snidely, "Do you know who I am!?"
"Kid," the cast member dryly responded, "I've heard that one at least 10 times today. Now please get in the correct line."
"Well, if that's how you want to play, you should get to knowing then!" The child bellowed, "I am LLOYD GARMADON! Son of the terrifying LORD GARMADON! And I'll go wherever I WANT TO!"
Hearing that startling announcement, I turned to you guys.
"Looks like we kinda found what we're looking for;" I said, "any clue as to what we should do?"

Random Drabble : Spinjitzu
Random oneshot including my FC, Mei-Lin! I’ve deliberately left things out about her as I am eventually going to write a story for her, and putting those things here would just spoil it.
I hope you enjoy the oneshot :)
On occasions, Lloyd would go off and wander around Ninjago city's central park. During the night time was usually when he'd be found there, or rather wouldn't, as most people would be either be asleep or inside. Some nights the boy wouldn't be able to sleep, being kept up with his thoughts and memories. Despite him and his father having now formed a new bond, that didn't change the past, it didn't change who he was or who his father was. His dad was still an evil warlord and he was still the green ninja. One destroyed, the other protected.
The attacks Garmadon made were less frequent now, only usually coming over to Ninjago to spend time with his son. He wanted to make up for the time he had missed due to the circumstances. As much as Lloyd was happy to finally spend time with his dad, as all he wanted was for his dad to pay attention to him, he couldn't help but be reminded of the time before then. The time where his father ignored his existence, didn't care about him. When he was hated by everybody simply because of the name he had. All the bullying and the torment, all the pain and loneliness. It all still felt so real in his head, even though it wasn't even really the case anymore. He'd never forgotten every whisper, every taunt, every insult scribbled on his locker. They were all permanent in his head.
When those nights came by he wouldn't sleep. He couldn't. So he'd simply leave those things behind in his room and go someplace else. That place was the park. He liked the park. It was calm, it was quiet, he could be left alone. It was the perfect place for him to be when he felt down. That night was no different.
He'd snuck out of his house, taking the five-minute tram ride from his house to the park and jumping off just outside the park entrance. The metal gate stood tall, a message written on the archway saying "park" for all those who wouldn't know. Who wouldn't know it's a park though? No one had seen him walk along the pathway, letting his surroundings be engulfed with trees and bushes and flowers. He walked along for a few minutes until he came across a specific tree, one with a small engravement in the bark. The mark was a very rough and un-even circle (or more rectangle), having been cut with a penknife. Upon approaching said tree he left the gravel pathway behind, walking along the grass and heading deeper into the trees. It was a lot darker off the path, the tree branches and their leaves only allowing minimal light through to the ground to illuminate it's own spotty, make-shift course. He used it as his guide, seeing as he wasn't able to see much else. Pretty soon he came to his little secret area. His sanctuary, if you will.
It was a small gap in the trees, a circle where the land indented a bit, and a pond sat on the other side of the circle. There was a tree looming over the pond, watching over it. The leaves hung down and were basically a shield so he could remain hidden in the dark, or if it rained and he needed shelter. There were a few flower patches dotted here and there. They were all small and dainty, easy to trod on if he wasn't careful.
With a sigh he relaxed his muscles and slowly looked around at his oasis, a smile spreading on his face as his mind blanked completely. The moon and stars shone down on him from the night sky above as he took in this environment. It was so different to the city. It was slow, and peaceful, and tidy too. He loved this place so much. He was so happy he'd found it.
He sat himself down by the pond, looking at the reflection in the water. His golden locks tumbled over one side of his face, hiding one of his emerald green eyes from sight. He just sat and stared at the water for a while, occasionally dipping his hand in and feeling the cold water pool around his fingertips. The water tickled his skin in an odd way, but it wasn't bad.
He took his hand out of the water, placing it down on the grass next to him. He released a deep breath and closed his eyes. He didn't allow his mind to wander, he kept everything silent. He listened to the air, and took in the sounds of the leaves rustling around him. He felt the grass brushing against the palms of his hands and suddenly that feeling was there. That weird feeling he couldn't quite explain. It started at his hand and traveled up through his body, coursing through all of him and spreading to his heart. This feeling was calm, yet brimming with energy. He could feel it wrapping around him, entrancing him and making him feel safe. Hopeful, even. It was a nice feeling, a wonderful one.
He slowly stood up, releasing the grass in his hands and raising them to his chest. A few moments later he began, slow and steady. He built up his movements, not rushing through them. He twisted his body and glided his hands through the air carefully, remembering the steps of Spinjitzu that his uncle had taught him and his friends over and over. He gradually began to pick up the pace as he let go of it all, ignored the world's outer shell and absorbing what was flowing through its inner shell instead. The very core of the earth was flowing through him and it felt like he was being given the biggest hug he'd ever received (well, next to Kai's). He felt safe, he felt happy, he felt free. He also felt a slightly stronger source of energy coming from behind him. He smiled to himself, halting with his motions with his hands out in front of him.
"I know you're there Mei." He heard her jump down from a tree branch, crunching the grass beneath her as she landed.
"Guess I wasn't quiet enough." She seemed chirpy as she approached him.
"I thought you were asleep." The boy turned to face his friend, seeing that she was still in her pajamas, but had shoved on her favourite purple hoodie to keep warm.
"Nope." The light brown haired teenager shook her head. "I was wide awake."
"Is that why you followed me? You couldn't sleep?" Again, she shook her head.
Nah, I just..." The girl shrugged. "You seemed sad. And I was also kinda curious to see where you were going at—" She pulled out her phone, the screen illuminating her freckled skin as she checked the time. "—2AM."
Lloyd nodded and shrugged as she looked up at him, putting her phone back in her pocket. That was fair enough. Why would Lloyd need to be out at two in the morning? Why would he want to be out at that time?
"I just needed to get away for a bit, ya' know?" Mei-Lin placed her hands behind her back and looked to the side.
"Yeah, I know." Her eyes seemed to glaze over as memories clouded her vision. Lloyd knew what she was thinking of and he couldn't help but frown. She didn't like talking about her past. Lloyd knew simply because she'd told him. She only really seemed to trust him. No one else. Not even Master Wu, who knew about it anyway (that dude knew everything, it was nuts).
The girl lifted her head up, a sigh leaving her lips and her pupils coming back into focus. She began taking everything in, slowly twisting her body around as she took the chance to look at the place. "Nice secret you've got here, come here a lot?"
"Eh," The blonde put his hand out and shook it a little. "Kinda. I mean, I used to come here a lot but...life's been good at the moment."
"True. It's definitely a lot better." The freckled-faced girl finished her 360-degree spin and was now grinning at her friend. He smiled back, finding it contagious. "So. What do ya' get up to when you're here?"
"It's kinda hard to explain..." Lloyd scratched the back of his head and turned away, now facing the water in the pond that was in front of him. His reflection stood alone momentarily before another came into view beside him. She waited expectantly, not forcing him to answer but still wanting him to. The boy blew the fringe out of his eyes, not that it worked, and tried his best to put the feeling into words.
"Okay, so..." He sighed. "Ya' know how I'm the Green Ninja, the ninja of life?" She blinked and nodded her head. Crossing her arms she sat down on the floor, Lloyd joining her. His hands reached for the water again, his fingers causing a ripple as they were dragged along the surface. Mei watched him mess around with a curious expression before sticking her hand in too. She drew back a little upon realizing how cold the water actually was, making her friend chuckle and smirk.
"And, you know I have no elemental powers?"
"Yeah?" Her tone was one of slight confusion, wondering why these linked to anything he was about to say.
"Well...Even though I don't have powers I can still like...feel life." The brunette looked at him, an arched eyebrow and eyes half shut as she tried to understand what he meant.
"Feel life?" She said in puzzlement.
"Yeah. Like..." The boy stood up off the ground and looked up at the sky. "I can feel life flowing through me." Mei-Lin didn't look like she understood fully what he meant. Not as in she didn't get what he was saying, more how it were possible to feel life. He wasn't too sure how either, but all he knew was that he could feel the energy of everything. If he focused hard enough, that is.
"I don't really know how else to put it." Mei-Lin shrugged.
"That's okay. I think I get what you mean." She stood up and looked up at the sky with him. "But, why do the Spinjitzu? Does it enhance it?"
"Yeah. And it's actually kinda relaxing to do." He glanced to the side to peer at Mei-Lin. She was staring upward still, watching the stars. She had hummed in response, not taking her eyes away from the scene above her. She was lost in her own thoughts again, Lloyd wasn't sure why though. Had he said something? He didn't think so. Maybe it was the night sky? Another past memory of hers? One he didn't know? He wouldn't be surprised if she had kept something from him, as she wasn't the most open person. Sure, she'd talked to him about things that bothered her, but he could tell when there were things she wanted to keep to herself. This could be one of these times. Or perhaps he was just over thinking things.
"I don't know Spinjitzu yet." She'd blurted out randomly, making the boy jump a little.
"You don't?"
"No. Wu says I will learn in time, but..." Her voice trailed off as she sighed. "He says that about a lot of things." The blonde boy chuckled.
"Yeah, my uncle has a tendency to be cryptic. But trust me, he knows what he's doing, just means you gotta be patient."
"I'm not saying I'm impatient, I can wait, it's just hard not to wonder sometimes." The girl let her head tilt down to the ground as she shook her head and sighed yet again. "Sorry, does that make sense?"
"It does, don't worry." The conversation stops for a while, both of them having sat back down to lie on the grass and continue looking upward, forgetting their worries. It gave Lloyd a chance to think to himself as Mei hummed a little tune. He probably shouldn't do it, Wu might get mad at him if he found out. He was waiting for the right time, Mei-Lin had told him this. But as far as he was aware she was more than ready to know. She had no elemental like him...at least they weren't aware of any elemental she may have. Wu hadn't said anything about it but it could very well be true. But...if he taught her Spinjtizu then Wu would only have himself to blame for not saying anything to them about her possible elemental powers, yes?
"Hey." His friend stopped humming and turned her face to look at his. "Get up." Lloyd grinned at her as he got up on his feet, his hands on his hips as he looked down at her. She didn't respond at first, not until the boy held out a hand to her and pulled her up off of her back and onto her feet.
"Okay," He took a hold of her arms and positioned them in front of her. "I'm gonna do this slowly so follow my lead. Tell me if you get lost." He stood in front of her, the same position she was in. He took a deep breath before slowly reciting the steps out loud as he did them. Mei-Lin only stood at the beginning, until she realized what it was Lloyd was doing and her face lit up. She watched his movements carefully and tried to copy them as best she could. She got stuck at a few points as she struggled to remember the order in which to do things, but soon she had the hang of it and Lloyd tried to let her do it on her own. He kept his eye out for any missteps or incorrect hand gestures, at the same time telling her when she was doing good so she didn't wonder.
"This feels really weird to do." She'd laughed as she kept her pace up.
"Yeah it will do, but you'll get used to it. Besides at least the others aren't here watching, right? I had to do it in front of everyone."
"It's not the doing it in front of people that bugs me, it's more just that it feels so odd. It looks like I'm just flailing my arms around." Lloyd snorted and smirked as he crossed his arms.
"We can stop if you want-"
"No!" She cried out, momentarily faltering. "No, let's keep going." The green ninja laughed at his friend. For a few more minutes he watched until she seemingly had the whole thing memorized. She wasn't making mistakes, having any blips, she seemed to be fine. Eventually, he found that her movements were more fluid and relaxed, her demeanor calmer than it usually was. She was letting herself go. It was rare to see her feeling chilled out. Even when she was having fun and hanging out with friends she didn't seem as relaxed as she was at that moment. The last time he'd seen her like this was when he'd woken up in the night and went to get a drink, and found her and his mom on the sofa. They had been talking, Koko cuddling her like she was her own daughter and Mei clinging to her like she was her birth mother. That was quite some time ago now, but Lloyd recalled the look on her face. It made him happy that she was calm. He'd snuck back to his room, not wanting to ruin the moment.
"I think you've got the hang of it now." The brunette stopped.
"Really?"
"Yeah. Wanna keep doing it, or head back home?" She didn't say a word, instead grabbing his arms and pulling him closer. She then latched onto his body and moved him to the right of her. Her hands moved back to the start position and she took a deep breath, closing her eyes and starting Spinjitzu all over again. The boy didn't say anything back either, he simply copied her and the two were in sync.
Life came flowing back into his veins, the feeling overtaking his systems yet again and making him feel at peace with everything. Nothing mattered. Nothing at all. This time he also felt a strong source of life coming from beside him, it was strong and more powerful than it had been before. It felt great, knowing that that was his friend, and that for the first time in a while, she was doing okay.
She was genuinely okay.

Also uh. Maybe small writing thing for sog au,,,I neglect it,,, ;-;,,,maybe just,,,harumi and sog!zane,,,and what ever else you want,,,hhhh,,,,,,
Love ya Revlis ;)
Kai didn’t want to believe it.
Cole had to be wrong somehow; had to be mistaken.
Because there was no way – it wasn’t possible that Zane – that their Zane – had done that to him.
But here, staring in shock at the adversaries on the street in front of him, it sank in with a chilling certainty.
“Zane?” He breathed.
Harumi’s mouth twitched upwards. “Did you say something, Kai?”
Kai’s face twisted into a snarl. “What did you do?”
This time she curled into a full smile. “Whatever do you mean, Kai?” She looked over at the black-clad figure next to her, her mouth opening in a mocking “o” shape. “Oh, our lovely enforcer?” The possessive gleam in her eyes made Kai’s stomach turn. “We just made some necessary updates. That’s all.”
The sight before him chilled the fire ninja to the bone. A black gi lined in red, his mouth covered by cloth…and the Sons of Garmadon mark splashed down his left side.
And the worst part, Zane’s eyes. Eyes that used to be a gentle caring blue were now a harsh indifferent red.
Harumi’s voice lilted through the air again. “I don’t think you’ve been properly introduced to our newest addition, Kai.” Her tone set Kai further on edge; he warily placed a hand on the hilt of his katana.
“Zane?”
Kai loathed the heavy way the nindroid stepped forward.
“Get him.”
He hated even more the immediate way his brother complied.
“As you wish, Quiet One.”
Kai swore and ducked out of the way as shurikens flew surgically at his face and arm, only to hit the ground and roll out of the way of clinically aimed titanium limbs. He surged up to meet Zane’s blade with his own.
“Zane, stop this! I know you don’t want to do this!”
Kai’s heart stopped at the frigid reply.
“No, ninja,” Zane growled. “I wish to do far worse.”

The Final Battle
(So! This is the fourth installment I've done for the Rejected Prophecy AU and is actually the third part to the series. This one I had fun writing but for good reasons. Here you go guys! @cakeking-cole @mostlysunnydays)
_________________________
Part 1
Part 2
________________________
Lloyd limped his way up to the top of the Garmatron, Kai holding Nya off and the others most likely evil right now. This is it. The final battle. It'll be up to him to save everyone. He has to. He doesn't want to think of what would happen if he fails. All he can hope is that if he does fail, he doesn't survive.
'This is literally your only purpose. Fail and you drag all of Ninjago down with you.’ He remembered Kai's harsh words before they began the ascent.
'Knowing him, he most likely will.’ Was Jay's comment to that. 'We might as well get cozy with the Overlord ruling us all. I mean, he already failed twice. Third time's the charm? Ha! I wouldn't hold my breath.’
'He will succeed. He doesn't have a choice.’ Zane had said, shooting Lloyd a glare.
‘With his leg he got busted up? I'm with Jay here.’ Cole huffed. 'But we have to still try. He may have the title of green ninja but we won't let anything happen to ninjago.'
That talk really helped him in losing all confidence that he could win this fight. But now, facing the Overlord that has possessed his father, he found something. Not confidence. Not hope. But vengeance. Vengeance for his father. Save Ninjago? He wish he could do that but narrow things down to avenging his father? One of few who treated him like an actual person, who had hopefully loved him… He would do everything in his power to destroy the monster that has taken him over.
“If it isn't the green ninja. Face it boy, you are in no shape to fight. It's over. Evil wins.” The Overlord says, sharp serrated teeth on display, as terrifying as the rest of him.
“It's not over yet! I will fight you!” Lloyd yelled at him, fists coiled tightly.
'For my father!’ Went unsaid.
“You don't even have a sword.” The Overlord says condescendingly and Lloyd glared. “You don't even have friends. Face it green ninja. You are all alone. And you always will be. You cannot defeat me.” He says then laughed at the struck expression Lloyd wore.
He's right… He had no-one… The ninja all hate him… Wu… His own mother… Everyone… He can't do this on his own.
He lowered his head in defeat, making the Overlord laugh harder.
I'm sorry father…
.
.
.
Lloyd furrowed his brows, just the thought of his father's name igniting fury in his heart. Father. He had to avenge his father. He wouldn't want to live like this, forever possessed by the Overlord, being forced to watch everything he cared about being destroyed by his hand…
He couldn't do this alone… But he wasn't alone. Nya may be corrupted but he knew without a doubt that she would always be by his side. Dr. Julian too. He had kept him going through the ridicule of his 'brothers’, mother and uncle, told him that they will try their hardest to bring him down but he was confident he will rise above it all. Even Dareth. Dareth had always bandaged him up, given him ice for sore spots, even gave him hugs on particularly hard days after the ninja trained him in his Dojo. While he couldn't do anything to stop them, he had always told him that despite everything they did, he knew he would become someone great.
He even had the Ultra Dragon whom he was sure adopted him in a way, somewhere along the way. He remembers sneaking out of the cramped apartment to the roof to visit and to sleep. They were always so gentle with him, nudging him when he had been staying up too late, tucking him under their wing, growling at the other ninja whenever they got too close to him… They may not he human but the distinct lack of hatred from them was like a cool breeze on a hot summer day.
He had all of them… And he had his father. His father who loved him despite the evil in his veins, who never hesitated to protect him whenever he could, even if it was in battle against he and the other ninja. His father who had his heart in the right place but his mind in the wrong. His father who made him feel like more than a welcome mat. He wasn't alone. He had them. All standing behind him. They may not be much but they certainly were enough.
He opened glowing gold eyes, looking up at the Overlord in defiance.
“I am not alone!” He yelled as he began to float off the ground.
“No! Impossible!” The Overlord roared before swiping a clawed leg at Lloyd but he deflected either his green energy now spiking gold.
“I am never alone!” Lloyd yelled at him and the Overlord roared, turning his head away as Lloyd glowed brightly.
Once the light faded, Lloyd was left floating mid air, his gi completely golden as a golden aura lingered around him.
“I am the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master.” Lloyd spoke with narrowed eyes. “And I will defeat you!” He yelled and the Overlord growled, swiping at him with his claws but Lloyd dodged, punching his wing back once he swung it at him and blocking his next attempt to gut him with his massive claws.
He then pushed his paw back and kicked him, almost sending the Overlord tumbling over the side of the building, forcing him to take flight.
“No!” He roared at Lloyd as he used his golden power to summon the golden dragon that roared back at the Overlord.
“You go kid!” Dareth yelled from his place in the ground, watching the battle unfold before smiling. “I told you you'd be someone great…” He says softer, pride swelling his heart.
“You can't defeat me! Where there is light, there will always be a shadow!” The Overlord roared at Lloyd, hovering just off the edge of the Garmatron.
“Unless my light is bright enough!” Lloyd yelled before using the golden dragon to tackle the Overlord, making them both plummet from the sky in a tangle of golden power and dark wings.
Dareth gasped once they were falling directly where he was standing and ducked but the Overlord gained enough control to fly up last second, spiraling upwards with Lloyd and the golden dragon still clinging to him as he roared loudly.
“This ends now.” Lloyd says with narrowed eyes from the back of the golden dragon as they faced off mid air again.
“You cannot defeat me!” The Overlord roars before flying rapidly around Lloyd at all angles, engulfing him in an sphere of pure darkness.
The golden dragon roared before spinning around quickly, its light fending back the darkness as the sphere grew. In the midst of the darkness, the Overlord laughed as his head appeared before Lloyd and the golden dragon, utterly massive compared to them both. He then closed his mouth down on Lloyd and the golden dragon, convinced that he has won- That is until he felt Lloyd's golden power grow inside his mouth.
“No!” The Overlord yelled, Lloyd's golden power seeping out through his mouth, his power only growing more intense with each second. “No! Nooooo!!!!” He yelled as Lloyd's power peaked.
The orb of darkness vanished under a burst of brilliant light that scattered the dark clouds overhead and bathing Ninjago City in bright sunlight and Lloyd power that purified all the corruption spread throughout the city. At the city center, Garmatron was gone, leaving nothing but a few sharp rocks and debris.
Kai opened his eyes from his place laying on the ground, blinking up at the sky for a moment before sitting up.
“Ugh. What happened?” He groaned as Jay sat up next to him, both of them spotting Nya in the distance as she sat up.
“Nya!” They both yelled, getting up and rushing over to her.
“My sister…” “You're back!”
“Ugh. Where's… Lloyd?” She asked, instinctively pushing them away from her.
“Of course.” Jay says bitterly, crossing his arms.
“The brat actually did it.” Cole says as he and Jay walked over, the Ultra Dragon landing moments after with Wu, Misako and Dr. Julian.
“Is this really happening? Lloyd did it?” Dr.Julian asked happily as he slipped down gingerly from the Ultra Dragon's back.
“Let's not give him all the credit here.” Misako says as Wu helped her down from the Ultra Dragon's back, missing the looks she earned from Nya, Dr.Julian and an approaching Dareth who overheard.
“Agreed. The ninja played a crucial part.” Wu says, gesturing to his students who puffed their chest out with pride while Nya glared harder.
His nephew was missing, possibly... And he was praising his precious students?!
“But where is Lloyd?” Nya pressed, feeling like the only one worried for him.
“It looks like the Overlord was not the only one who is no more this day.” Wu says and Nya looked horrified as tears filled her eyes.
Lloyd watched them speak from the back of his golden dragon, expression blank. His purpose was fulfilled. He had no place here.
Not that he did to begin with.
He was about to leave when he spotted the rubble nearby move and some one with gray hair pulled themself out. He paused before flying over there, making his golden dragon disappear and landed on his feet.
“Are you ok?” He asked the person who looked up at him and smiled.
“Lloyd, my son.” They spoke and Lloyd's eyes widened, knowing that voice anywhere.
“Dad? Is that you?” Lloyd asked in awe, looking him over in shock and Garmadon did the same.
“The Devour's venom… It's… Gone…” Garmadon says in awe before smiling as his son hugged him tight, his heartfelt 'dad’ muffled into his shoulder. “It's me son. I'm here.” He whispered, hugging him back before he spotted the others not too far away from the side of the huge boulder they were standing behind.
He made up his mind then.
“Let's leave before they notice.” He told his son seriously and he looked wide eyed in shock.
“Leave? To where?” Lloyd asked, a little confused but gradually found himself getting more and more eager.
“Away from this place, away from the ninja, away from my brother and… And away from your mother.” Garmadon told him, placing his hands on his shoulders. “For all they know, we haven't made it. They won't come searching for us and I can finally protect you. I can finally keep you safe. Will you come with me?” He asked his son and Lloyd glanced back at the others.
The only thing that had him hesitating was the true friends he'd leave behind. But his answer was already set. He looked back to his father before nodding. He would follow his father anywhere now that he wasn't needed. He would miss the others but if he could get away from the ninja and his so called family for his real family then… He would take the chance.
“Thank you.” Garmadon whispered, pulling him into a tight hug before taking him by the arm. “Let's go.” He says before they took off, sneaking their way towards the city, staying out of sight of the others by keeping the boulders between them.
Lloyd looked back once more and his eyes widened once he found Nya looking directly at him with wide eyes. She stared for a moment before smiling.
'Go.’ She mouthed and Lloyd's eyes filled with tears.
“What has you so happy?” Jay asked, moving to turn around and Nya panicked a little.
“Nothing! Just-” She grabbed him by the cheeks and kissed him, making everyone else cheer as she kept her eyes on Lloyd and his father, only pulling back when they disappeared into the city.
'Gross…’ She thought, forcing a smile as Jay smiled widely at her, a flush in his cheeks.
She could never love someone so cruel and heartless.
At least Lloyd is safe now….

Seven Deadly Sins
Warning: Swearing, suggestive themes because lust but no smut and uh, evil ninja.
_______________________
Glowing green eyes took in the hustle and bustle of New Ninjago City at night with a sneer. Everyone must be going on the merry way home to their perfect little families, to their cozy, lavish homes. He hated them. His family was nothing like theirs. He lived in an abandoned ship for fucks sake. And he had to share his room with the others. His life fucking sucks comparing to theirs. He spotted a group of teens from the 20 story building. He hates teens and kids the most. He wanted to grow up like they do. Not as suddenly as he had. One second he was a kid, thw other he went through a massive growth spurt and was suddenly grown up.
He rubbed his slightly throbbing horns that gree upwards, signaling him to be of royal blood. He didn't care much for that right now. Will the stupid pain of growing these things ever go away? He tsked before jumping the wide space between this and the next building, keeping his clawed hands tucked into his hoodie. He walked along the rooftop, his tail flicking irritably.
“Well well. If it isn't the prodigal son.” Lloyd sneered, looking across at his cousin.
“Shut it Morro. What the hell are you even doing here?” He grouched as he walked by him and Morro leaned off the air conditioning unit, his black upwards pointing horns gleeming in the city light as he followed after him.
“You know how the old man is. He worries.” Morro shrugged, using his wings to glide across to the next building as Lloyd jumped. “Also, he wants you home for dinner.”
“So he sent you of all people.” Lloyd says flatly, glancing back at him and Morro sneered, flashing his fangs.
“Don't fucking test me Lloyd. I'll blow you clean off this roof.” He growled at him and Lloyd looked at him unimpressed from over his shoulder.
“Right. And I'll fall and die. Like I don't have wings too.” Lloyd huffed, spreading his black wings he has he spoke.
“You little-”
“Let's go. The old man is pretty scary when he's angry.” Lloyd says, looking down at the city from under his nose before taking flight.
Morro growled but followed after him.

“For fucks sake Cole stop eating for five fucking seconds so everyone else can get some jeeze.” Nya growled, shoving him away from the table.
“Fuck you! The lamb was put in front of me so it's mine!” Cole growled then pushed her back, snatching the entire half lamb left and scurrying onto the ceiling before he continued eating.
“If you drop anything on my clothes, you're gonna be the one to wash them.” Zane commented, reading a book as he slouched in his chair.
“Hey, can I have it when you're done reading it?” Jay asked, leaning over to peer at the attractive looking book.
“Whatever.” Zane shrugged.
“Hey big boy… How about you and I have some fun after your meal?” Kai purred as he stroked at Cole's arm from on the ceiling with him.
“Hey! What about me?!” Jay pouted.
“I don't see why I can't indulge with the both of you…” Kai shrugged, looking up- or rather, down at him.
“Morro and Lloyd aren't back as yet it seems.” Wu says with a frown.
“They're on their way.” Nya says as she ate what she could salvage from Cole's never ending appetite.
“Speak of the devils.” Zane murmured before using a huff of breath to turn the page. “Shit. Wrong one. Oh well…” He sighed then read on.
“So glad you boys made it in time.” Wu says once they walked in.
“No thanks to Mr. Prince here.” Morro huffed as they took their seats.
“You speak as if you are not also a prince.” Wu says with a smile before taking his seat. “My brother should be here any moment now.” He says and there was a flash of purple.
“Son?!” Garmadon gasped once he appeared in the room and Lloyd looked at his four armed father with an unimpressed expression.
“You know, one would think you would have gotten used to Uncle Wu and his deception by now.” Lloyd ssys drily, looking down at his chicken dish with a sneer.
Somewhere out there, someone was having lobster and steak and caviar while he was eating this.
“I wouldn't be very effective at what I do if he did now would I?” Wu ssys with a smile.
Garmadon sighed.
“Honestly Lucifer, you-” He was cut off by being pinned against the wall by his throat, gold and red blended eyes glaring him down as his true, younger form surfaced.
“I told you not to call me that! It's Wu!” He snarled at his brother, long fangs flashing at him.
“Fucking fine!” Garmadon snarled back then pulled his arm away from his throat and threw him across the room, through the side of the ship. “But you know I despise choking.” He sneered.
“Look. We rebuilt the ship perfectly after your last fight and as much as I totally could all by myself if I wanted, I rather not. Could you take this to the Underworld?” Nya says with a sneer, tail flicking with her irritation as Wu hopped back into the Bounty.
“What are you talking about? We barely managed to piece it together.” Zane murmured, completely unphased as he kept reading.
"No thanks to you." Jay huffed, getting on the ceiling too.
“Look. Why did you call me here in the first place? Our father has gone who knows where to do who knows what and I have to rule the Underworld until he decides to come back.” Garmadon reminded him irritably.
“Well, Satan, we only wanted you to join us for a meal. When was the last time you've seen your son?” Wu huffed, talking the appearance of an elderly version of himself again.
“Literally a few hours ago. As prince of the Underworld, he can come and go as he pleases. Which he does.” Garmadon says, crossing his arms.
“I swear if you three start fucking on the ceiling again I will castrate all of you.” Morro growled, shooting the heavily making out three on the ceiling a glare.
“Fine.” Kai huffed as he stood on the ceiling. “Let's go boys.” He says, leading them off, Cole tagging along because of the promise of food at the end.
“I’m going out.” Lloyd huffed as he stood.
“Out? But you just came back.” Wu says, looking him over.
“So?” Lloyd huffed. “I don't want to hear them right now.” He says, gesturing to the room Kai, Cole and Jay moved into.
“Wanna spread some mayhem?” Nya asked them with a smirk.
“I don't see why not. I could use the entertainment.” Morro shrugged, getting up as well.
“I'll accompany you. I haven't caused mayhem here in some time.” Garmadon says as he straightened himself.
“Let's get going then.” Lloyd says to them, walking out.
“What about me?” Wu questioned.
“Stay here with those four. That's your punishment for calling me away from the throne.” Garmadon says as he stepped out as well. "And fix the Bounty!"
Wu pouted.
______________
All four of them walked through the city in different routes that would meet in the middle of the city. Lloyd glared as he walked along, hands in his pockets glowing green as he let off a thick green aura wherever he went, spreading his power over envy. He pulled a hand out to look at the glowing ball of green energy then smirked as he looked back at everyone he passed, watching a few steal what their eyes first catch or arguing and even better: fighting.
“You know what they say: sharing is caring.” He smirked as he walked along, his tail, his horns, his wings and even his powers invisible to mortal eyes. “Hey Leviathan, make sure to drop by downtown when you're done.” He says in the comms.
“I have something better than walking by, Lloyd.” Nya says with a smirk, gathering a glowing ball of water in her hands, filling it with just a mere percentage of her pride before shooting it up in the sky, creating rain.
She spotted someone about to duck for cover then.
“What? You afraid of a little rain?” She says aloud and the person stiffened before tilting their head up and walking in the rain still, the other people around her following suit.
“A perfect time for a bit of wind, don't you think?” Morro says with a smirk from the top of Borg tower.
He chuckled as his wrathful winds swept through the city, setting tensions on high through the entire city.
“And now that the pressure is so well set…” Garmadon says as he walked out next to them, looking at the green fog of his son's power being spread by Morro's winds and kept low by Nya's rain. “That spark to set things off.” He gathered his dark our powers before compressing it into an orb the size of a marble then dropped it on the city below.
Purple suddenly flooded the streets of the entire city and everything came to a standstill until utter chaos. Garmadon laughed as he watched people brawled in the middle of the streets, others ramming their cars into others, people breaking into buildings and stores, stealing, making it seem as if the world was about to end. Lloyd flew up a moment after then landed next to his father, looking down at the chaos without a smile but feeling smug seeing them all run wild, murdering and fighting and stealing.
Serves them all right. Everything won't always be perfect, pathetic mortals. Your turn to suffer too.
“Hey Lloyd, guess what I got.” Nya says as she flew up, holding take out from Chen's.
All four of them sat down on the roof, enjoy a meal as chaos reigned on.

Ninjago Season 9: Throne Room
Sometimes following your heart means losing your mind.
The doors swung open with a bang, and suddenly she was there.
The metal bars rattled as if the impact of the large doors colliding with the scorched walls had caused the whole room to quake. The prisoner jolted back into consciousness as if he had always been awake, not even acknowledging the dried blood on his suit and face. There was no friendly glitter in his dark eyes- the eyes that once held so much light- as he fixed them on the princess of Ninjago as she moved down the carpet towards the large throne that was once her father’s...before she had him killed of course.
Her white-blonde hair was like a halo around her head as it fluttered around her face and shoulders. The short carefully cut bangs danced above her menacing eyes. Unlike her guest, those dark pools glittered dangerously as she kept her gaze locked on the throne. The makeup on her forehead down to her cheeks can be only described as red warpaint even though it looked more like dried blood that instead of turning brown kept the horrible crimson shade. And her mouth that once was carefully painted rose red was left colorless, maybe even chapped, was curling upwards just a little to remind the two guards and her caged foe that she was the one in power and was very happy that she was.
The ninja watched as she slowly took her seat, her thin legs crossing elegantly even though they bore no robes. Instead, her dark warrior suit contrasted the bright red and gold altar like a spill of ink on the brightly colored royal silks the princess once was forced to wear. Now she sat proudly on the seat, her smile twisting into one of a true villain before speaking two words into the silent space.
“Leave us.”
The two guards, both Sons of Garmadon worshippers, hesitated before leaving their post. They briefly walked down the long stained carpet before shutting the doors. The prisoner’s heart pounded in beat with the bang.
The ninja master’s eyes tore themselves back to the throne. Like a magnet, his eyes seemed to lock right into hers, for she was already baring her eyes right at him.
“Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon.”
Lloyd dared not to say a word back but his chest tightened. As much as he had tried to burn the memories from his head, his heart ached for the time she had said his name with love. Now she spoke his name carefully and slowly, making sure every consonant was pronounced and vowel was emphasized just to hurt the ninja master more. How badly he wanted to shout back, how badly he wanted to correct her: saying that he was no longer a Garmadon when the monster that wore his father’s face reigned as emperor. He bit down on his tongue, and tried to look away.
“I have no idea where they died,” the Quiet One continued. “The building was so large, it could’ve been anywhere.” Her eyes sent daggers into Lloyd’s chest. “They never did find the bodies.”
Lloyd wished the Quiet One would live more up to her name.
“I’m referring to my parents of course,” she continued. “My real ones. The old emperor and empress are nothing to me.” She began to twirl her hair in her long fingers. “I did like the palace, really I did. So many rooms, so many secret passageways, enough space and time to plot my revenge.”
With a quick sweep of her leg, Harumi stood from her throne. Lloyd kept her gaze on her not because he wanted to but because his body didn't have the strength it needed to look away. She slid a smile on her face as she started to stalk down the steps of the altar like a panther approaching its prey.
“That’s what makes me different, you see, it’s what makes me your greatest villain. I had the time. I had the resources. I had the trickery. You didn’t know I existed until I got away.” Her words burned into Lloyd’s skin. He didn’t want to admit that she was right.
“The Serpentine, sure they had reasons for revenge, and Morro had them too yet even they became soft. The Nindroids were built to destroy you all but yet failed in the end. The Overlord had thousands of years to prepare and yet fell because he prepared without knowing Lloyd.” As she spoke his name with such venom she grasped the bars of the cage, her face only a few inches from his. “They didn’t know you. I knew you, I know you. I could predict your every move, every step you would take. It was as easy as playing a board game against myself. I broke you, I shattered your heart and crushed your soul- I did that! Admit it Lloyd- I am your arch nemesis - I am your worst nightmare- I am your greatest villain!”
Lloyd stayed silent, his dark lightless eyes staring back as if he had woken from a trance.
“ADMIT IT!!” Harumi screamed as she tried to shake the bars. Lloyd still sat silent.
Harumi’s lip curled up. “Say SOMETHING!”
The throne room faded into silence. Harumi had her breath held, waiting to spit back in Lloyd’s face when he finally admitted it- but he never did. Instead, the ninja sat up just enough so his head was at the same height as hers so he could look her dead in the eye.
“I don’t believe it.”
Harumi choked. Lloyd could see her mind racing inside her head as she searched for a response, but Lloyd kept speaking.
“You said that the greatest villain was the one who got away. So what am I?”
Her mind raced on. Her lips were slightly parted so that the edges of her teeth were barely seen before the blackness of her mouth. Her hand loosened some as it dawned on her what he was referring to.
“I got away. I escaped. I lived. Was that part of the plan?” Lloyd’s words were harsh, spoken carefully but yet with so much power.
Harumi recoiled her hand. Even though he couldn’t reveal it, a surge of joy shot through Lloyd. His suspicions- though terrifying- were correct.
“It shouldn’t be much to assume that Emperor Garmadon wants you to bring me to him. And it’s not much to assume in your part that he is going to kill me where I stand if you do.”
The glitter in her eyes went cold. Her lips tightened and the flush in her cheeks drained. The ninja knew the truth now, and he began to feel sick to his stomach.
“Why am I here?” Lloyd asked her. “Why am I hiding in a cage here while Emperor Garmadon waits? He probably doesn’t even know you are here-doesn’t he?”
He saw her flinch. Lloyd had just called her out for treason, but his accusations were not faulty.
“Tell me why, Harumi!” Now Lloyd crept closer to the bars. He grasped the cool metal as he bore into her eyes and repeated, “Tell me why-“
“Because I need you!”
Lloyd’s throat turned to lead. Two and a half weeks ago his heart would’ve fluttered uncontrollably and he would have not controlled the massive smile that would overcome his face. Now, he felt as if Zane had risen from the dead just to freeze all the fluids in Lloyd’s body.
Harumi looked crushed. Her eyes were still glittering but now it was glittering with tears. None had escaped her eyes yet as she cast them down to her hands, laying dejectedly on her knees. With a clang, Lloyd fell back down so that he slammed into the bars on the other side of the cage. When the princess spoke again, it was barely a whisper as if she was afraid of the words leaving her mouth.
“I didn’t want to believe it either,” she breathed, not even trying to make eye contact. “My plan was so thought out- it was infallible. I knew what I had to do and I was prepared for every choice-every move-every sacrifice. My ultimate goal had to be achieved and the ninja- especially you- had to pay.”
She shuddered a heavy breath that sounded more like a sob. The lead in Lloyd’s throat started to burn, a sensation he immediately feared.
She continued. “When I saw first saw you I had so much bottled hatred towards you that had manifested over many years. I wanted to hurt you so badly, but I had to act as an ally until we had escaped the Oni Temple. I had you all fooled. I had you fooled. And I.... I fooled myself.
“Too late I realized I was more of an ally to you. I was even more than a friend. You had feelings for me. My first thought should have been celebratory. I had fooled the Green Ninja into falling for me. It would have been something I would laugh over when I ruled with Emperor Garmadon. But... I was terrified. At first I didn’t know why I was so scared of my fear. Then it hit me.”
She stumbled on her words, making them inaudible. Simultaneously a tear shot down her cheek. The burning in Lloyd’s throat was throbbing now, and it had spread to his eyes.
She wiped her cheek. “I didn’t realize it then, but my ultimate goal had shifted. Raising Garmadon was still the end game in my mind but now there was something else. Something my... heart needed.
“It shouldn’t have been true. How could I have made such a mistake? You were Lloyd Garmadon, the Green Ninja that has barely saved Ninjago time after time and leaving pain and death in your wake.” Lloyd flinched at the harsh words, but now he knew it was true. That made the words hurt like knives in his stomach. “But when I faked my friendship with you, I recognized things about you the textbooks didn’t. Like your relationship with your father. Your unfaltering faith in your friends. Your curiosity about me. How much you truly cared. The way you smile when you are cocky-“
Her cheeks reddened a tad from embarrassment. Lloyd tried to swallow but it felt like he was drinking molten lava.
“It was stupid of me. You are the bad guy. I am the good guy. I shouldn’t....I can’t feel that way. But I...”
Her voiced was drained out by the silence. Suddenly Lloyd realized she was staring at him. He blinked hard and dropped his gaze. “If-“ Lloyd tried speaking but his voice screeched like metal being scraped. “If you did feel...that way...then...why? Why let them...die?!”
“You wouldn’t understand....” Harumi whispered back. “You had to be broken like I have to truly love me.”
Every burning question he had about Harumi was answered in that one response. It all made sense. Ever since he met the young princess just a few weeks ago he’d been slowly stripping away layer after layer, mask after mask. He thought the Quiet One was her true face but even that assumption was wrong. That was the first mask she had to wear to hide-
The scared little girl that had just lost her parents.
Lloyd sucked in a shaky breath. For almost two weeks now he had despised her, not only for resurrecting a monster of a father but for crushing his heart. But now, underneath all that hate was a tiny bit of guilt. This girl didn’t deserve the revengeful life she had put upon herself. She didn’t deserve the blood on her hands or the fear that comes with her name. She deserved to be happy, to be loved.
Lloyd wanted someone to love her. He wanted-
The words were out of his mouth before he realized he was thinking them. He felt his body stiffen just as Harumi did the same. She stifled a gasp and covered her mouth with her hand. For a second they stared wide eyed at each other. Then in a blink of an eye the keys to the cage were ripped from somewhere on Harumi’s body and the cage door was torn open with the force that could rip someone’s arm clean out of their socket.
Lloyd’s first thought was that this was finally the cage he would die in, but was immediately mistaken. Harumi threw herself on the ninja, not even caring about his injuries, and locked her mouth on his.
Every single muscle in Lloyd’s body went on high alert, ready to strike her down and escape. His ninja-mind instinctively plotted over a dozen ways he could trap her in the cage but yet he didn’t move an inch.
His heart was too strong.
*****************************************
The two guards jumped when the doors to the Throne Room shot open with a bang. They clutched their weapons at the ready, but relaxed when they saw a flurry of long white hair flutter past them. The Quiet One dashed down the hallway and vanished around the corner.
Exchanging a weird glance, they peered back into the large room where the trapped Green Ninja remained in his cage with his hands planted on the metal flooring and his dark eyes wide in panic. They could hear his gasping breath even from the doorway.
One of the guards prodded the other with his hand. “The Quiet One really got him, didn’t she?” he mumbled with a smirk. “The ninja looks terrified.”
“What do you think she did to him?” the other guard hissed with a smirk of his own, hiding his own terrified mind.
“By the look of his face, I bet she lied and said they finally found the four ninja’s bodies. And then tossed them in the ocean for the sharks to finish off.”
They nodded together with devious smiles. Glancing one last time down the hallway to where The Quiet One had vanished, they walked back in the Throne Room and regained their posts.
They never noticed how red Harumi’s face had been when she fled the room.
They had been right about Lloyd being terrified, but it wasn’t about a lie. It wasn’t even about Harumi.
He was more terrified of himself than he had ever been in his life.

Ninjago Season 8: A Little Crazy (Baby Wu Ex Machina)
“BABY WU!” Cole screamed as he hammered through a few more Sons of Garmadon members. “How is there so many more gang members?”
Cole strained his neck, but the toddler in tan had vanished. Cole told him to stay close, but who is he kidding? He’s talking to a toddler, whether he is Master Wu or not.
As Cole deflected a sword with his hammer, he activated his comms. “Hey guys, Baby Wu wandered off-“
“WHAT?” Nya’s reply was immeadiate. “Cole! He is A BABY!”
“I know I know-“ Cole groaned as he swung the hammer like a baton before smacking someone into a wall. “Just if you see him-“
“What, feed him a milk bottle?” the familiar sarcastic cattle screeched next to Cole. Eyebrows furrowed, he turned to the insane Sons of Garmadon leader.
“Look, I really don’t appreciate your undying want to always fight me-“ Cole grinded his teeth as he readied his hammer. Ultra Violet shouted her signature laugh and slammed a blade down on his handle.
“What can I say?” she blinked flirtatiously at the ninja. “I’m attracted to the crazies.”
With an angry groan, Cole pushed Violet off of her. “I’m not crazy!”
She grinned maliciously. “That’s what they always say!” With a whistle, a few other gang members turned to fight by her side, and suddenly Cole was hilariously outnumbered.
“Uh,” Cole murmured as he nervously gripped his hammer tighter. “Maybe I’m a little crazy.”
With a yell, they all surged forward at once. He swung once and knocked out two, but it wasn’t enough. His hammer was knocked free and it slid away, and before Cole could lunge after it they all piled on top of him. Cole feared the last thing he would hear was the incredibly annoying screech of Ultra Violet.
“What the-“
Cole didn’t expect to hear one of the Sons of Garmadon say that before screaming in terror. Suddenly some weight was taken off of him. With a second wind, Cole heaved the members off of him and reached for his hammer.
It was gone.
His eyebrows shot upwards. “My-“ Cole began but watched as a SoG member flew past him screaming. Cole slowly turned around.
“Impossible!” Ultra Violet hissed. Cole’s jaw dropped. He watched with wide eyes as the hammer, the length of the person who held it, swung around like a bat and whacked Violet into the ground.
“That was for kidnapping me!” the kid screamed at the enemy. Cole slowly pulled his hood off as the child turned to him.
He wore no shirt and his pants were shredded and tight. His head was now covered in white blonde hair, bangs coming down almost to his eyes. Cole had no words as his mouth sat open in disbelief. The blonde kid scratched his head nervously.
“Uh, hello Cole,” Wu squeaked. “Sorry I used your hammer.”
Cole blinked.
“Um,” Wu looked around embarrassed. “Could I borrow a shirt?”

(Movie) Garmadon x Misako Pt. 1
PART 2
Hope you guys enjoy ^^
Garmadon always enjoyed the battles he had with the ninja. Sure they scuppered his plans a lot but it kept things interesting, ya' know? What was an evil warlord without a righteous hero? A very powerful man actually, if you thought about it, because no one would stop him and he'd just, like, rule the world and stuff. What? It's the truth!
This one brawl in particular was quite entertaining for him. He watched from above as his soldiers fought off the six ninja with their fish weapons. The ninja were winning, unsurprisingly, but he'd still caused a fair amount of mayhem and destruction today so the day hadn't been a total failure. They'd been a bit late to the party this time around, though. Usually, they arrived when he'd only got through 1/8 of the city, this time he'd gotten through at least 3/8. Oh well, mechs are hard to maintain. Maybe some of them were having a few technical errors. Garmadon understood that. Hey, he may have been a terrorist trying to take over Ninjago, but he wasn't a complete monster.
Eventually, his arch nemesis/son, the green ninja appeared in all his glory. He was giving that same, pouty sort of frown he always gave. The "teenage angst" look as Garmadon called it. His son had a lot of issues with him, which the warlord couldn't understand. Garmadon had never been around him for the young boy's entire life. How could he even be the problem?
"Dad." Lloyd growled as he unsheathed his katana and slowly walked closer to his prey. The boy was quite the dramatic, really. Kind of like him, the man supposed. He always saw so much of him in his son, at the same time seeing a fair amount of Koko in him too. Lloyd has his theatricalness and stubbornness, and whilst their eyes were not the same colour, the emerald hues he had definitely stood out much like his contrasting, blood red ones. Meanwhile, he had the courageousness and determination from Koko's personality. He also had the same thick and smooth hair as her (except blonde instead of ginger).
He briefly remembered a time when Misako's hair had been curly. She used to curl it for work and tie it up in a quick and messy bun. Little stands would slip out of place and curl over her cheeks. It was cute. She was cute. Now she kept her hair straight and used these crimson chopsticks to tie her hair back with (yet somehow it looked neater than when she used a bobble. She was a magician in some ways).
He hadn't seen Misako in a few weeks, now that he thought about it. Probably because he hadn't been around in a few weeks. The last time he was here, he wasn't on official, warlord business, he had come to see her. He, ahem, "obtained" an array of different flowers, along with a small cherry blossom hair clip that he thought she might like. He'd seen it in a shop window during his last attack and, again, "obtained" it. It was the middle of the day when he strolled into her workplace and knocked on her office door. The only reason people weren't arresting him was because Misako had told them not to. They all seemed unsure but he thought they should've been thankful. If they had tried to arrest him, he would not have given them an easy job. He would've probably hissed at a few people, then jumped straight through the window and ran at lightning speed out of Ninjago city.
Instead, Koko had let him into her office and they'd begun to talk.
---
"Garmadon," Koko sighed as she shut the door behind her and turned to look at her ex-husband. He had a large grin on his face. Not one of despicable amusement, just the goofy little smile he gave to her when they were alone. He only ever gave that look to her (as far as she was aware). "What are you doing here?"
The man took a seat in the chair on the opposite side of Misako's desk, facing her armchair as she came and sat down in it moments later. He placed the hair clip on her desk and carefully slid it towards her, the bouquet of flowers held out towards her. She was a little shocked at first, not totally understanding why he was doing this at first. It wasn't her birthday. It wasn't any special occasion as far as she was aware. What was he planning?
"Go on a date with me?" He tilted his head and his grin widened as he awaited a response. Koko sighed.
"Garmadon..." She was about to speak some more when Garmadon held one arm up and signaled her to stop.
"Hear me out. Please?" He said, a hint of excitement in his voice. The woman shouldn't be listening, she knew she shouldn't. He was evil for crying out loud! Just a matter of days ago he'd kidnapped a bunch of babies from the nursery downtown. He only gave them back because she shocked him with a taser and he dropped them. Luckily none of them were hurt as officers caught them all. But still...a part of her still loved him. As much as she didn't want to admit it. Even after their past, the fact he still wanted her back...it made her heart swell and butterflies flutter in her stomach. She leaned back in her chair and rested her head in the palm of her right hand.
"Go on." She hoped she wouldn't regret this. Her ex continued to beam a jagged smile at her as he placed the flowers down on the table and began to explain. She picked up the bouquet and examined them, cursing to herself as he'd gathered a pretty bunch. He always knew the right ones to get. Damn it he was so good when it came to this stuff, and he was supposed to be a warlord! Since when were they good at all this?
"You come back to my lair, I'll make you some dinner. We can chat, catch up, and just have some time to relax. I won't blow anything up, you don't arrest me for unleashing countless attacks on the city, just a regular old date. Like we used to have." She had to admit that did sound great. A night off from work and from being a mom. Wu could take care of Lloyd for the evening. And Garmadon not destroying something? That took serious restraint on his part. He really was trying so hard. At the same time though he was still evil. He still hurt people and caused fear throughout the city. No one knew when the next attack would be. He gave no mercy to his enemies and Misako knew this all too well. He'd seen him on the battlefield and he was ruthless. Utterly, utterly ruthless.
She didn't say anything for a few moments as she pondered what to do. Yes or No? Go on a date or decline? If she said no then she was sure she'd regret it in the long run, whether it was from a broken heart or just because his anger could lead to more chaos and devastation to Ninjago. Hell, he could even go as far as to hurt her in some way, although she doubted it, you should never say never! At the same time, if she accepted, Lloyd would most definitely not approve. She'd have to keep it a secret from him, but how long would that really last? He wasn't oblivious to stuff. And how would he deal with the idea? Would he go ballistic too and do something?
"I..." She looked in his crimson eyes as they stared hopefully at her. It only crushed her heart more. "I can't."
Garmadon's face fell into dismay and disappointment as he was rejected by the woman he loved. Again. This hadn't been the first time he'd asked her, she'd said no in front of entire crowds of co-workers before and on countless occasions too. But somehow he always hoped she wasn't serious. That she was just saying it. Now? Now he wasn't so sure.
"But..." He blinked twice. "But why?"
"It's not that I don't still love you Garmadon! I swear! It's just," the woman sighed and picked up the hair clip that rested in front of her. She shut her eyes tightly as she swiveled her chair to look out of the window, the flowers cradled in her arms. "It wouldn't work. It didn't work in the past so, it definitely won't work out now." She muttered.
"I see." He stated as he stood up from his seat, trying to contain the anger and upset bubbling in his stomach. Without uttering another word, he left the room and walked right out of the building. Nobody stopped him. Not when they heard their boss quietly sobbing to herself as she looked out of the window. They hated seeing her cry but arresting Garmadon would honestly make the whole situation worse. So they simply shut her office door and left her alone for a while, her flowers on the floor and the hair clip clutched in her delicate hands as she held it close to her chest.
---
"Dad? Hello? Are you paying attention?" Lloyd snapped his dad out of his thoughts, his hands on his hips. Garmadon's eyes blinked a couple of times before he shook his head to wake himself up.
"Uhm...Yeah. Yes, I am green ninja!" He pointed his staff at the teen, an immediate despicable grin spreading across his features. He didn't look very convinced by that response. "Prepare for battle!"
The boy got into a battle stance and jumped forward to swing his sword in his foe's direction. It narrowly missed him as Garmadon leaned back, coming back up and raising his staff to hit Lloyd over the head with it. Just as he was about to bring it down, a voice cried from down below. A female voice. She didn't sound like she was in pain, rather they were shouts of triumph. It sounded a lot like...
They both immediately came to a halt and ran to the side of the ledge to look down at the ground below them. They saw the other five ninja, kicking butt as per usual, however, there was a sixth person fighting alongside them. A woman with bright, orange hair. Misako!
"Mom? What are you doing?!" Lloyd cried to her as she kicked a soldier in the stomach with her heels. The man with the faux shark helmet yelled out as he fell onto his back and curled up into a ball, sobbing hysterically as the pain was unbearable. Misako looked upward and waved at the pair, a pleased smile on her face.
"I got bored of waiting! Head of police never get to do the fun stuff! I just have to stand there and give orders."
"Mom-" The blonde boy groaned and facepalmed. He then pinches the bridge of his nose and took a deep breath. "Look, just, go back to safety, okay?"
"What?" She gave a singular laugh in amusement and also slight annoyance. "No way!" She argued back before punching another one of Garmadon's men in the face. He fell on his back as well and was out cold in an instant, a black eye sure to be there when he woke up in a few hours. Misako sure had a powerful punch...
As mother and son carried on arguing with each other, Lloyd having hopped from one piece of debris to another and down to the ground floor so they could talk and fight bad guys at the same time, Garmadon remained where he was with all fours arms crossed. His eyebrows were furrowed in slight confusion with a puzzled frown on his face. He wondered if it was always like this at home, or perhaps this was a recent development. From what he could tell, Misako hadn't been aware of her son's secret. Maybe that had changed? It seemed so. If he hadn't mentioned it then she would've brought it up just then (after discovering her son was basically going around trying to kick his dad's behind), without a doubt. Ah well, he had more important things to worry about.
He leaped down to the ground in the centre of the battlefield and began to assist his men in the fight against the secret ninja force. They needed all the help they could get, considering how badly they were losing. He was going to have to tell his General to kick her training techniques up a notch. Where was she anyway? When he got his hands on her, she would be shot out of the volcano for sure.
"Mom, please-" The boy tried pleading, begging, any way of convincing her to leave. But unfortunately for him, it wasn't working like he hoped it would.
"This is not up for discussion. I'm helping you guys." She patted her hands together as she rubbed the dirt off of her palms.
Garmadon was right, they were both pretty determined in getting their way. He got why Lloyd was annoyed; he wanted his mom to be safe, which was fair enough. In all honestly, Garmadon wanted her to head back to a safe zone too. He knew she could fight but her fighting made everything so much complicated. He wanted to win Ninjago, but that meant defeating her. He didn't want to do that. That aside, he also didn't get why Misako wanted to join in in the first place. Was it the same reasoning as their son? Protect him from the shark army? Probably; that was the reason she left in the first place.
Eventually, Lloyd left her to it but instructed Nya and Kai to keep an eye on her. Misako was about to argue back before deciding against it, knowing it was probably the only way she'd get to continue. He focused his attention back on his dad and the two began their duel over again. This time Garmadon performed the first swing of the blade as he unsheathed it and almost took off a chunk of his son's blonde locks. Lloyd gritted his teeth as he glared and began slashing his sword against his enemy's. They both attacked with full force as they hopped from place to place. They split debris in half with the sheer force they were using. They screamed and cried at each other in rage and pain as they tried to wear each other out and make the final blow. As they fought they ended up underneath what remained of a concrete building. The ceiling was cracked as the beams holding them up were falling to bits.
"Give up dad!" Lloyd seethed, as their swords continued to clash. "You won't win!"
"Ooh~ I'm shaking in my boots Luh-Lloyd." His tone was one of mockery which made the ninja snarl at him as he tried to kick the man in his side. It backfired however as Garmadon's free hand shot out and lifted him up in the air before slamming him into the ground. The boy could only gasp as pain shot through his body. The warlord proceeded to pick the boy up by the neck before throwing him back on the ground again. This time he slipped across the gravel and the stones scraped against the teenagers back. He cried out in pain.
"I'm disappointed son," Garmadon muttered as he towered over his son's tiny body. All the while, Lloyd didn't look fearful. He simply frowned. "You usually fight better than this."
No response came from the boy, which was rather unusual. He normally had some form of comeback, a witty and sarcastic insult or something similar. Was he ill or something? Perhaps he just wasn't in the mood today. He knew that feeling, but on those days he just lay in bed and didn't bother conquering Ninjago. Why didn't Lloyd just lie and bed and not be a ninja for a day? That would be extremely helpful for him.
Suddenly a large bang was heard. Everything seemed to slow down as Garmadon turned behind him to see the pillar in the corner, holding the remains of this building upright, had crumbled completely. When he'd turned himself back around, he saw the other pillar had collapsed entirely too. Everything seemed to flash before his eyes in that moment. His childhood, his ninja training, all his goals and ambitions, his hard work. Was it all for nothing? Was this his end? Had his son finally got rid of him once and for all? He had no idea what happened. How they'd even fallen in the first place. But it was no matter now. He was dead for sure.
"NO!" He heard a desperate cry before he felt himself get pushed out of the way and land on top of Lloyd. A large cloud is smoke engulfed the father and son. They coughed and spluttered, Lloyd pushing his dad off of his body and trying to wipe the smoke away with his hands. Garmadon was too stunned to say anything. He simply got up and helped trying to clear the smoke. However, once it finally had disappeared, he soon found himself unable to speak nor move at all. At least not for a few moments. About two seconds later he was running to that pile of rubble when he saw that pale hand sticking out of the wreckage. He cried out and screamed as he pried off all of the heavy debris, Lloyd, Wu and the other ninja all by his side and aiding him. All of Garmadon's generals and soldiers stood in place. The war lord's voice was scratchy and his heart was filled with dread. He couldn't believe it.
Koko had pushed him out of the way. She'd saved his life.
