Hey!! I don’t know if you take requests, but if you do, Could you continue A Month of Kisses 29? (The vampire Who wants to team up with the hunter) I loved reading it!
Hope you have an amazing day!!
:D! Ah! I'm so glad you liked it!
Sorry this took awhile. I also re-read the original piece a couple times to try and get the mood and style back, since it was a little to the left of my usual work.
I hope you enjoy this and it tastes just as good as the first!
A Month of Kisses, #29, pt2
cw: some non-consensual touching
previous
---
It was harder to spot the monster than he'd expected, but not by much. His past tormentor, deadly and conniving as it was at night, almost blended in under the Italian sunlight outside the cafe. The locals and tourists bore their skin to the strong rays. But the monster wore a wide-brim hat to cover its face, a white, lace shawl to cover its shoulders and arms, and a pastel blue sun dress to cover its body and legs. It wasn't much, but the monster managed to shade itself entirely without being too conspicuous.
He took a deep breath and let it out as a ragged sigh. He was risking everything giving this beast in human's guise a chance. But it hadn't killed him in his sleep, neither here nor during his captivity. And he hadn't noticed it hunting since they had arrived here, either.
The thing tilted its head up slightly, allowing him to see the quiet, bright red smirk on its beautiful face. This far away and under a hat's brim, he could almost pretend it was human. Feeling the line of his dagger's sheath beneath his belt, he walked to the creature.
He sat calmly, facing it with dread in his throat. He was risking everything right now. If another hunter in the community recognized him, recognized it, he would be as good as excommunicated. Resources and contacts he badly needed to do this work would shun him at best. At worst, he'd be added to the list of bounties.
"Relax, darling," it said. But in the sunlight, it didn't have the same power. Its voice sounded slightly dry, and he knew in his heart that it only stood a mortal's chance against him in a fight.
"What did you find?" he demanded under his breath. Those red lips smirked more, and it tilted up its head to look him in the eye.
"Your quarry is in fact vampere," it said, folding its hands delicately on the table, beneath the shade of its hat. "Yet a youngling. I estimate he is no older than eighty." The hunter nodded curtly. He was still waiting on the local contact to confirm the details. But if they matched this thing's, then he could maybe trust it an extra inch.
"Where does it sleep?"
"In a small home, close to downtown." Something about its smile changed. It turned its head slightly, giving him a better look at the side of its face, and its eyes fell to where his fists rested on the table. "It may be risky to approach during the day," it whispered. He watched it reach out, its pale hand crossing into the sunlight, and it delicately traced a line over his hand, down to his knuckle, circling the pad of its soft finger over the rough skin where his punches landed. He itched badly to yank his hand away.
"It won't be a problem," he growled. "I'll go when the neighbors are gone."
"And what if he takes a life tonight?" it asked. He gritted his teeth, and it settled its hand over his, leaning forward over the table. "Let me hunt him for you," it breathed. And there was that… look in its eye. Too powerful to be crazed. Too focused to be frantic.
"I find it hard to believe you'd kill a youngling for me," he uttered between gritted teeth. It leaned further forward, placing its other hand on his, holding his fists with a deceptive delicacy as it spoke.
"I'd kill a babe for you," it whispered. He almost flinched at the way its eyes shone, at the feeling that its voice had come from behind and around him. "I see your heart, hunter," it went on. "I wish only to give you what you desire."
He stayed still, watching it, gritting his teeth. Trying to pass off the pounding of his heart as anger. The shaking of his hands as disgust. He pulled his hands away and it let go, retreating calmly into its own shadow as he stowed his hands in his lap.
"I will hunt it my own way," he ground out. Its expression became muted, but it maintained a hint of a smile.
"If that is truly what you wish," it whispered.
---
The creature hadn't been lying. His contact confirmed the target was vampere, and then he had waited until the late morning to sneak in and slay it. His once-captor had followed him inside, though it stayed out of the way as he made the kill.
It made him uneasy once he'd downed the monster, to turn around and see the other, older, more dangerous creature in the room eyeing him with an unmistakable hunger. He stood straight, holding the bloodied mallet in his hand, watching it watch him. It smiled at him, slick and knowing, even with the daylight outside stripping it of its power.
"You're very good," it purred. He gripped the mallet tighter, stifling the shaking in his hand. It was quiet enough that he heard the drop of blood fall to the floor.
He was still breathing hard from the scuffle, from the brief chase when the creature had slipped his grip, from pounding the stake into its heart. The room smelled like death and blood, and his muscles were trembling from the adrenalin crash and the following rise as he looked at his once-tormentor. As it studied him. As it praised him.
"Good enough," he threatened. Its smile shifted, its look darkening.
"Not quite."
His knuckles were white on the mallet. He knew his other fist was shaking, too, glad to have it hiding behind his side, out of view. Having this thing in the room with him made his heart race, made him feel over-sensitive. He could hear every drip of blood, every breath he took.
He had to look away from it. He had to clean up his kill.
---
He sat at his computer, reading a new lead post for the fifth time. He couldn't focus. He couldn't keep his mind on the listings of potential vampires with the one in his room.
He looked over to the narrow shipping crate. It was only an hour until dusk. The thing in there could get up at any time, but so far, it was staying down until dark unless he had a target. And he still hadn't seen it feed.
He looked back to the forum again, trying to make a judgement about this lead, if it was within his reach and capabilities. But he couldn't focus. He couldn't concentrate.
He looked again to the monster in his room. To the creature he was lugging everywhere he went like luggage. He turned in his seat to face it. Never in his life, not in his worst nightmare, did he ever see himself keeping a pet vampire. But it followed him everywhere. And he took it everywhere. And it always asked to kill for him. And it always praised his work. And it always looked at him like he was perfect.
Maybe he was the pet. The thought was disturbing.
He turned back to the computer screen. The familiar usernames and codes had been his only companions for a long time. Not friends; he didn't have any of those. This hobby was lonely. And it was by the grace of the forum's mysterious benefactor that he could even live off of the demanding task of finding and eradicating these monsters one by one.
And there was always more. There was always more.
He looked over his shoulder at the box. How old was that one? The listing for its death had only provided the evidence it was vampere. He'd even had to confirm the suspicion himself.
He took a deep breath, leaning forward and running his hands into his hair, staring at the screen. If anyone in this little community knew he was toting around an old blood, he would lose everything. But he wasn't good enough to kill it. And he couldn't ask for help.
He couldn't.
The box creaked softly, and he looked sharply over to see the lid was wide open, the thing leaning on the edge and looking at him with that soft, knowing little smirk it had. He hadn't realized it had gotten up. He tried not to breathe too loudly.
"You seem distressed," it whispered. He scowled, turning to properly face it.
"Shouldn't you still be asleep?" It just kept smiling at him. He scowled harder, looked around for his coat, and got up to leave.
It pushed him back down in the chair, hands on his shoulders, so close he could smell it.
He gripped the arms of the chair, trying so desperately to control his breathing. It was suddenly so close to him, its black hair brushing his chest as it held him down, those gentle hands ready to turn into stone at any moment. He stared into its face, reining in the dread and the uncertainty, giving the beast only anger.
It studied him. It ran its hands slowly down his shoulders and over his arms. It stepped closer, standing between his legs, running its cold fingers back up and carefully adjusting his collar.
"I can hear your heart, hunter," it breathed. He tensed his jaw, cursing the way his heart was slamming into his ribs. Each beat was a tremor he had to suppress by gripping the chair harder. The creature swayed, its eyes wandering down his chest. Then it rested its hands again on his shoulders, and it slowly leaned down, and it pressed its cold ear to his heart.
His breathing caught as if he'd been splashed with ice water. He didn't dare to move, not with this thing so close. Its hair was soft where it brushed his chin, and its touch was delicate. But this creature could rip him apart before he even noticed it move. It could kill him instantly in a million ways, and painfully in a million more.
He flinched when it began to move again. When it sank down slowly to its knees, its fingers trailing down his chest and over his sides, and rested its head tenderly on his leg. He looked down at it, folded up and demure at his feet, and it looked up at him slowly, its dark eyes devastatingly needy.
"Tell me what I need to do," it breathed, "for you to trust me."

Fic: Pin Me (5/?)
Tumblr media
"Siobhan?"
It's his first question and she chuckles, shaking her head as she simultaneously shakes out her cloth napkin before spreading it over her lap, "Uh, yeah. Max's idea."
Travis waits patiently for her to explain. She plays with her utensils before offering more, "It's like I told you, I was a gymnastics brat in school and when I graduated I was applying for grad school when a friend of mine suggested wrestling. I started off with no ring name, no gimmick, it was pretty boring..."
She wriggles in her seat, "Then Max came along. His father and grandfather really run things, but he's an up and comer, so he was searching for bookable talent. He saw I had the chops, if not the theatrics and offered to help."
Her lips swish from side to side, "Probably would have said 'no' if it weren't for the fact that he dared me."
Travis laughs, "He dared you?"
"Never could turn down a dare." Laura confesses as she sits up, "He dared me to go out one time with a ring name, with a gimmick, and he promised me the audience would respond and I'd love it. That I'd be hooked."
Another shake of her blonde head, "Max came up with Siobhan to play into my background - last name like Kearney, Ireland - you get the idea."
He gives her a little nod to show he does.
"Screamin' Siobhan - a banshee in the ring. I had a battle screech, Celtic intro theme - all of it, and I was positive I'd hate it."
She looks off into the middle distance, obviously reflective, "But...I didn't. The way the crowd roared and cheered and even booed at me...it was addictive. Still is."
Travis can only nod again, but he does get it. All those eyes on you, all that attention - it's the last thing he would want, but her?
Laura's the type who deserves it, who earns it, and he says as much, "Saw you get that same attention in New York. Although now I guess you're a wolf?"
Laura grins, "Yeah, I was Screamin' Siobhan for awhile, but when they brought in Emma and Kaitlyn, the Brinlys decided I should turn face. For awhile there I was Slayer Siobhan, because that's the name of the new intro song they gave me and they thought I looked a bit like Buffy - they tried their hand at a vampire angle, but-?"
"Take it that didn't stick?"
"Eh, the vampire craze had come and gone. They needed a fresher storyline - I mean, this is a soap opera as much as it is a sport, so-?"
Her slim shoulders rise and fall, "Eventually the wolf idea came up. Got me all black gear, the fur shawl. And, once we tried it, people really responded to it. I've been playing the part ever since."
"Well, it's very...thrilling." Travis doesn't like the description he settles on, but he can't think of any classy way to say it's 'arousing'. Especially considering he's probably the only weirdo who finds it so.
Laura beams, "Why, thank you, sir "
"'Sir?'"
"You called me 'ma'am'."
"Mm, fair." He hums in agreement and does his best to avoid the fact that his whole body stirred at her calling him that.
The waitress comes and takes their order - pasta for her, chicken for him - but it's not until they're halfway through their meal and a few wine glasses in, that Travis asks the question that's been burning at the back of his mind, "So, why me?"
Laura makes a questioning sound around her mouthful of chardonnay and he clears his throat, tactfully avoiding her gaze, "I'm, ah, older than you. I'm not...you know..."
Travis gestures to her and she swallows, voice dry, "What? A she-wolf?"
That gets a good chuckle from him, "No, no. I mean, I'm not-? Y'know...impressive..."
Laura's eyebrows knit together, "What makes you think you're not impressive?"
He shoots her a flat look, but she sets her glass down noisily, arms crossing, "No. Seriously. Why do you think that?"
He blows out a breath, "C'mon, Laura, I'm in my fifties. I'm a cop. I'm not married and I never have been. I've got no kids, no real prospects. I still live in the boring backwoods town I grew up in. I'm not very exciting."
"It's exciting to me." Laura argues and her blue eyes are so earnest his heart hurts, "It's stability and it's maturity. I admire those traits. You know who you are and what you like and you haven't compromised yourself for anyone."
His own eyebrows rise, "That's what you think of me?"
Another shrugs and she reaches for her glass again, "That's what I get from you, yeah."
"...better an older man than a boy."
Laura has the decency to look abashed, "Yeah. I know. Kind of shitty of me to use you as a weapon like that."
"Eh, better than taking a chair to the kid, right?"
Her delighted giggle makes his heart pang in a whole other way, "Take it the break up was ugly."
"And then some." Laura inhales, brushing a hand over her mouth to wipe away some excess wine and oh, would he like to be the one to do that, but with his mouth, "Max liked it at first. My being part of the circuit. But when my popularity started to grow, he wanted me to take a step back from the ring. Turn to mentoring or some other aspect of the business."
"Why?" He asks it with true wonder, because Travis really doesn't get it. If Max brought Laura on, if he was the one to promote her in his family's business to begin with, why wouldn't he be happy she succeeded? Wouldn't that make him look good?
"Because he was worried I'd get hurt. Or, better to say, he began to take this stance where his girlfriend shouldn't be up on the top rope doing backflips and going through tables."
"And what should she be doing? Having babies? Giving up on her dreams?" Travis asks with no short amount of acid.
As a cop, he's seen this story play out before. A thousand times. Girl falls in love with boy, boy 'falls' in love with girl, boy changes girl - twists and turns her into what he wants.
It's half the reason Travis has avoided romantic entanglements. He's seen too many end poorly - disgustingly. It's enough to turn anyone off of 'love'.
And it's not as if he's witnessed any shiny examples personally - his parents tolerate one another and his brother Chris's wife, Amelia, divorced him - making it so they have to have shared custody of their two kids.
So, yeah - to say Travis is a fan of love and relationships is an understatement.
Yet here he is, on a date with one of the most enchanting women in existence, one who is looking at him as if he's a revelation as she asks softly, "Are you staying in a hotel?"
The question throws him some, but then he catches the heat in her eyes and the set of her teeth and oh yes, she is a she-wolf, isn't she? One ready to devour him and he hears himself gulp, "I-? Yes?"
"Is it far?"
"Nuh-?" He tries to get out a good 'no', but his throat is too dry, tongue too thick, so he succumbs to merely nodding.
Laura finishes her wine, then puts down her glass and looks him straight in the eyes, "Take me there."
She doesn't have to ask twice.

Prompt: You finally worked the courage to ask Shinji on a date after years of pinning after the male. How will this might turn out?

Tumblr media
••••••••••••••••••••••••
*You shouldn't be this nervous. Twiddling your thumbs and eyes down casted. Your head soon followed the sound of Shinji's voice, complaining about being hungry. You giggled mostly to yourself before sighing. Your heart soars everytime he's near, shake your head when hiyori and him are having their little spats, you go out of your way to even bring the blonde new magazines to read for his downtime. Way more than you'd like to admit. Your friend nudges you and smiles. "Just ask him if you guys can talk privately, it'll be okay." They say. Oh how easy you wish it could actually be. To work up such a courageous act to simply ask a man on a date. It'd be much easier if he would do it instead. Girls don't ask boys out, do they?. Finally after minutes chewing on your bottom lip you finally stood from where you sat and casually sauntered over to where he was sitting on the couch. Face in hand, his light brown eyes scanned the room before landing on your frame. He noticed you're tense shoulders and opted to sit upright and his attention on you to hopefully ease you Of whatever nervousness you're feeling. "Shinji.. Can we go outside and talk?." He smiles sweetly before placing his magazine on the couch, forgotten and getting up to follow you out. Now here, him standing in front of you, the idea seemed far more difficult than before. His slouched position and hand in his pocket, his free hand begun scratching the back of his head not knowing what to do now. You start to feel your chest feel extremely heavy, and heart begun to drop in your stomach just by his body language. You were scared shitless on what to do now. "Nice day out, huh?." You said trying to start some small talk.*
*Shinji's head looked up towards the clear blue sky before mumbling a "Yeah." In agreement and leaning his back against the wall of the warehouse for support. Shit. This couldn't get any worse. Your eyes closed and mentally slapped yourself at how pathetic you were being choosing to play with the hem of your sweater instead. Little did you know that Shinji was watching your every move and expression in his peripheral. And decided to break the ice for you.*
*"So, whatdya need ta talk ta me bout'?." **Your (eye/color) eyes finally met his calm one's. Feeling ease creeping into your every fiber and relaxing, but only a little. "Well, I. I just wanted to know-. " you made a humming sound through your nose and rubbing your arm to calm your nerves. * *'just. Ask. Him'*
*"Date.. With. Me?." Silence. All that could be heard was the sound of the wind rustling the loose leaves on the street. Soon though, his smile grew into his signature smile and his eyes twinkled.*
*"Yer askin' me out on a date (Name)?."*
*You couldn't Shake your head any faster almost causing you to get dizzy at the eagerness. Before a soft smile shown on your features.*
*"Y-Yes! If. You want to.." Why were you so nervous? You've been on dates before? But then again asking first was singlehandedly the hardest thing you've ever done.*
*"Hmpf. Nev'a been asked by a cute girl before. T'sound nice. When is it?." His smooth voice rang in your ears and heart lept with excitement.*
*"How's 7:30 pm?."*
_______________________________________
Here now in your room, You stared at your reflection for the 20the time, finding something new that needed touched up and make-up to be reapplied. Fixing your hair and smoothing down the dress giving yourself another look over. The dress your friend helped you pick out was stunning. White knee length, with semi thick straps that connected in the back with a lace design. With floral flowers in the color of pinkish red and a sash that wrapped around your waist. Final thing to top off was a white and black laced shawl you'll use to wrap around your arms and a simple hand bag for your phone makeup and wallet. You felt that since you were the one that asked him out, you figured it be appropriate to pay for the two of you as well. Role reversed much?. You let out a soft laugh.
Hearing you're phone beep, you quickly pulled it out of your purse before checking the message
Shinji 🎷:*Hey doll, M'Here."*
A dust of Pink adorned your cheeks while you let out a giggle from the nickname he gave you, before dashing off from your room to meet him at the front door. Opening the door, Shinji turned to the sound, adorning in a white button up shirt with a black tie, suspenders, black slacks with a nice pair of white and black dress shoes and holding a dark blue jacket on his forearm. He pulls his sunglasses up on his head and gave a modest whistle. "Yer lookin great (Name). N' all dressed up fer me?." He became so comfortable with that statement that he landed a hand on your waist to pull you closer getting a wiff of your nice smelling perfume and shampoo. "Gorgeous."
You smiled looking down at the ground, pulling a stray hair behind your ear.
"You're looking incredible yourself Shinji." He scoffs.
"Nah. This ole' thing?. Ts'been collecting dust."
You playfully slapped his chest before walking down the steps to the side walk. "So I was thinking about this nice restaurant I seen walking with (friends/name), wanna check it out?."
Shinji threw his palm up to stop you.
"No darlin. This one on me. I know a good place." Taking your hand in his he throws his jacket over his shoulder and proceeds down the street to a jazz club downtown. During the walk you soon discovered he called ahead and even made a reservation. Your mouth hung open and gawked at how fast he moved. You had only asked him out that morning and already he's made arrangements? Your heart wasn't sure how much you could handle this man.
After sometime walking you made it to a building called *'Cocktails and Dreams'*. Shinji opened the door for you and followed inside. The room was not too dark, but not too light, there was red leather booths sitting along the walls and small rectangular tables wrapped in red satin silk filling the middle of the room, and at the end of the room stood a beautiful stage with red, blues, pinks and purple stage lights. A piano, saxophone, a couple electric guitars and a cello sitting on their perks with band mates beginning their routine. The smell of cigars and delicious food filled your senses as you looked around. There wasn't many people here, probably regulars and some folks sitting at the bar upon entering the building and to top off this classy place soft jazz music played. Filling your soul with something it hasn't felt in many years. Warmth and happiness.
You were brought from your thoughts when the waitress walked past you. "Your booth is this way sir." Shinji threw his arm around your waist and led you to where you'll be seated together. He leaned down to whisper in your right ear. "So, whatcha think doll face.? Yer kinda place?." Your spine shivered with anticipation and licked your lips before responding. "It's perfect." Whilst making eye contact. He smirks, when the waitress took the card off the table she gestured the two of you to sit while she asked you two what drinks to start with. Shinji allowed you to slide in first before following suit. "Ya wanna alcoholic beverage or just water fer now?." He asked leaning towards you with that smile you love so much. "Water for now please." He nodded, "Two waters."
The waitress wrote it down and set two menus for you both to look over. Even the menu was fancy. "Ya wanna talk first then order? Or jus order than talk?." You smiled before placing the menu down. Sitting your chin in both your palms you leaned towards Shinji looking directly at him. He scooted closer to the point of your legs touching and threw his arm on top the booth chair behind you. He looked easy going and relaxed. Eyes half lidded while he looked at you through his lashes. You couldn't help but move in next to him and laying your head on his shoulder. This display of physical intimacy surprised the both of you before he let out a hearty chuckle.
"Where's'tha blushy nervous cutie who asked me out this mornin? M'not sure why but I'm enjoyin this kinda attention." You laughed with him. "I don't know. I guess once the jitters wore off happiness replaced it." You felt his head tilt to peer at the crown of your head. "Yer happy?." You hummed in agreement. Before lifting to look at him face to face. "To be honest I've been pinning after you for awhile." You looked down at the table. His smile faded into a slight frown. "But.. Seeing the way you flirted with girls. I felt I'd never have a chance. Till' this morning." His smile was completely gone but he replaced it with a smirk when you looked back at him. "M'Sorry doll. Nev' expected ya ta even gimme a second glance." You rolled your eyes.
"Well of course I did!." You giggled while he feigned fake hurt. By this time the waitress walked back with your waters and placed them down. Shinji moved to collect them. But you felt the women's presence lurking. You looked up at her and she was staring directly at Shinji, "Are you ready to order now, sir?." He gave a curt nod your way as to ask you as well, when you picked up the menu you quickly picked the chef's choice, as you were nervous to take too long, Shinji picked the same one before handing the menu back to the lady. "Thank you I'll have that right out to you, sir." Before walking away. For some reason you couldn't help but feel as if she disregarded your presence and only noticed Shinji. He turned back to you.
"(Name)." You turned your head his way. "Yeah?." He held your hand in his lap tracing patterns on your skin. "Wanna dance?." You beamed before nodding excitedly. He slid out the booth with your hands still connected before pulling you to your feet and towards the dance floor. The music wasn't too fast but not too slow, and soon he begun spinning you in slow circles before pulling you close to his frame. You giggled. You could feel your hands getting clammy at the closeness as your hands moved to lay atop his shoulders while he swayed and twirled with you on the dance floor. A couple times you had accidentally tripped or stepped on his foot, mumbling apologies while he shrugged it off. He taught you a few jazz moves before doing the signature twirl and dip. His left arm wrapped securely around the mid of your back while the other held your hand. He leaned in close to your face, a blush creeping incredibly fast, heart thumping in your chest. Your eyes widened as his face kept inching closer to yours, your eyes slowly closed Before he landed a soft sweet longing kiss on your forehead and bringing you back upright to his chest. The music ended and people hollered and clapped before music transitioned into a soft melody again.
Grabbing his hand, you both sat back down while laughing amongst yourselves and by then the food arrived. Two words. Mouth watering. House salad with shrimp and steak and to top it off you both ordered a coconut breeze martini to go with the meal. Needless to say you were thankful he picked the place, you knew jazz was his thing and boy did he deliver. You both chatted about music, movies and other favorite topics. Going as far as to critique little details within each topic. His laughs were genuine and sweet. Something you never heard before now, and his body language wasn't so much as lazy and uncaring as most times, but attentive and serious while still retaining his comical behaviour. Everything was perfect, he listened to everything you said chiming in time to time to put in his opinions and comments while you did the same with him. Slight brushing of leg and arms, and occasionally leaning towards the other, lips caressing each other's cheeks while you spoke. Needlessly to say, you begun to get a slight buzz from the alcohol a red hue tinting your cheeks. Your giggles and eye smiles were the cutest thing Shinji had ever seen. You were far more relaxed and open with jokes. After two hours sitting and talking and eating, the waitress had come back for the final time to ask if you two wanted anything else, and if Shinji would like the bill. You went to reach for your purse to pay, but Shinji had moved his palm up to stop you as he did before. "It's on me darlin. I'm the man, 'mayyybe' next time ill'have ya pay." Your eyes widened for the up tenth time that night, trying to argue back that it was your treat. And then it hit you. *'next time ill'have ya pay.'*
Your hands shot up to hold your cheeks and stared at Shinji in shock. He laughed watching as you turned away with the brightest blush, *"he said next time? He wants to go out with me again?"* you squealed to yourself. Shinji watched with a soft smile as you had your monologue before seeing the waitress hand him the check, he thanked her before her hand touched his shoulder in a flirtatious way, his eyes narrowed at her gesture.
"I hope you have a nice night sir." She gave him a sultry smile and a wink before walking off to serve another round of tables. He scoffs, upon opening the check he seen a piece of torn paper with a note along with a number written on it. He scoffs again; *'if you want to spend a night with a real women, call me ;)-' (xxx) -xxx- xxxx'*
He makes quick work of the paper after writing the amount on the bill then left a note for the waitress. He didn't even bother to wait for her to collect the check before he insisted you and him leave for a walk. He slides out, taking your hand in his and helping you out of the booth and putting his hands on your hips to follow you outside.
The waitress had walked eagerly back to your tables to collect the check and plates. Quickly opening the check with anticipation before her face fell in disappointment.
*'Thanks, but I got a real women. Oh, and ya not gettin a tip :) hav'a nice night.'*
____________________________
the walk was even more peaceful, not so much chatting, just making small comments about the scenery or how well the food and music was.
Your eyes turned to look at Shinji. "I didn't want to bring this up, but I felt that the waitress-. " Shinji stiffened.
"Didn't like me very much." He hummed. "S'fine dollface. I took care of it." Your heart swelled you could hear your friends voice echoing through your head. *"Cuff him. Cuff him."*
You let out laugh to which caused Shinji to turn his head. "Wha'so funny?." You Shook your head and squeezed his hand, by this time you both had made it to your home. He walked you to your door. "Well. This is me." He begun to slouch and scratch his head again mumbling to himself. The action would've made you think he was disinterested but the light pink hue dusting his cheeks told another story. You laughed at him and placed a hand on his upper arm drawing him from his thoughts. His soft brown eyes scanned your features before walking closer to you holding your hand in his with utmost care.
"Shinji."
"Yes dear?."
"Can. We do this again?."
He smiles. "Absolutely."
It was your turn to smile. Before your hands followed his arms up to his shoulders, and stopping at where his neck connects, soft hands wrapping where his neck starts and peering into his eyes with heated passion. You sighed softly smelling his expensive cologne.
"(Name)."
"Yes?."
"May I, kiss ya now?. Fer real this time."
You stood on your tiptoes to get closer to his face. Pulling his face only centimeters away from where you wanted him the most. Your lips were parted for him, his eyes lowered from her irises to your parted pink lips.
Before finally closing the gap to a kiss as Swift and loving as the first shine of sun adorning the horizon. And left little to the imagination of his feelings towards you. You wish you could say the kiss was short but you both held it for as long as your lungs could allow, before finally parting for air at last.
Breathless and full of love.
"I'll see ya tomorrow yeah?." You nodded excitedly before pulling him in for a hug. "Goodnight shinji. Thank you for a wonderful time."
He gives you one more squeeze before letting you go and walking in the direction of the warehouse. You leaned against your front door after sighing dreamily to yourself. You should ask him out more often.

It's been awhile, so I thought I'd post a small update on what I've gotten done the past few months. Not much, but something!
I believe I've posted the bags before, but now they're all finally complete and (as of 20 minutes ago) have their ends weaved in. Thre beads on the blue bag are supposed to kind of look like a sunset over the ocean- hopefully that worked out!
I also tried out a new rose pattern, as you can see. These are fairly big (about the size of my palm), which is both good and bad. I was really hoping I would find my old rose pattern, which makes roses about a quarter of this size and is great for scrap yarn. But these are nice, fairly fast to make, and would really look good as accessories.
Moving forward, I have a few different projects in the world that I'm going to try to complete before starting anything new. These include:
Another croc stitch hooded cowl
Another croc stitch dice bag
Another beaded dice bag
A little plague doctor toy (not liking how it's turning out, but I'll keep going)
My hexagon blanket from last year
The fan and feather knitted blanket I started forever ago (I have to finish it before I can re-train myself to knit, this time right-handed, which will open up many more projects for me, but each row takes so long...)
There are also a ton of unfinished amigurumi I could work on, and am at a place where I'm willing to try another crocodile stitch shawl if I find the right yarn, but that's a pretty big list and we're getting into summer, so I'm gonna keep things as they are. At most, I might break up projects by making roses and pumpkins, since they're pretty quick.
So, yeah. I have two more art posts I want to make today, but I'm gonna wait until later. For now I need lunch.
