It depends on how well the plot of the movie blends with the show and also if the toy thats being featured ends up having relevance for the show as well.

Shinkengers summer movie is actually amazing and the show does a good job of bringing it back without ever feeling shoe horned in or obtrusive to the plot.

Abarangers summer movie actually goes fucking insane and the writers actually bringing it back for the climax was one of the craziest things to me.

Magirangers movie is just great overall even if we don't get to see Saint Kaiser afterwards. I would say more but I shan't spoil such a solid movie. Although I don't like the tradition that the sixth rangers get shafted during the movie so much...

I recently watched King Ohgers summer movie and it was pretty solid as well and not having to sell a toy along with it helped its pacing and story structure although I would not call it necessary as it only really tries to foreshadow stuff with arc 2 that gets discussed at length in the show.

Den-O's summer movie is also beautiful and made me cry like a baby and considering the show spent like 2 episodes to build up to it makes it feel important as well and IT ACTUALLY HAS CONSEQUENCES IN THE SHOW!!!

OOO also has such a wonderful summer movie and I really like BuraKaWani as a form and the final fight in that movie is SO SATISFYING to watch. Essential viewing for OOO.

Most crossover movies are also fun but the best ones also actually like. Need to have them crossover (looking at you Kamen Rider and also Donbrothers vs Zenkaiger) so any of the Go-Onger and Shinkenger crossover movies are peak and Gokaiger also sweeps on crossover films.

Post series stuff has been. Interesting. To say the least and honestly just ranges from "OH I liked that and im glad I got to see my guys again" to "This is the worst fucking thing ever how dare they ruin my shows like this"

Hurri 10th was pretty good along with Deka and Go-On 10th. Gokai 10th legally had to be good otherwise Toei Studios would've been burned down. Haven't seen Hurri 20th yet, but FUCK Aba 20th me and my homes HATE Aba 20th!!!! AND OOO 10th!!!!

If the kamen rider ooo combo's would've been summoned instead of forming on eiji making them kidna half gijinka's, how do you think their personailties would be? you know like tatoba...Renai...Burakawani...Seishirogin...Pretty much every full combo that eiji has access to (Yes even the ones exclusive to csm)

Uh. Wouldn't that be just the Greeeds themselves?

In canon, the "traditional" Core Medals were associated with specific Greeeds (the red bird ones were Ankh, blue undersea creatures for Mezool, yellow felines for Kazari, grey land mammals for Gamel, and green insects for Uva). And one of their Core Medals (typically the one that forms the head portion for OOO) would contain their consciousness- something akin to a soul, with the specific Greeed's memories, experiences and personality.

Additionally, a Greeed could absorb the Medals of other Greeeds but that Core Medal with their "soul" would dictate "who" it is. So for example, even if Ankh absorbs a Tora and Batta Medal, he'd still be Ankh, because the Taka Medal that contains his consciousness would essentially dominate them. (Though they do have to have at least some of their own Core Medals to do this, lest they basically self-destruct.)

So, for the other Core Medals, giving them some sort of conscious form would likely just result in them having a Greeed, with one of the Core Medals being where that consciousness is stored.

As for their personalities... well, the Greeeds do have some common threads among them- mainly, the fact they feel a void within them, and this is the primary motivator of their actions. What they think would fill that void and how they think they should go about obtaining it, though, is what would vary.

little kiddo Greeeds from an AU that @honeycombheadphones and I made for fun??? basically the Putotyra Greeed and Burakawani Greeed are mentally little kids and then their bodies also took that form. since they are pretty much harmless now, Eiji sort of adopted them and looks after them and they love their “Aunty” Hina and “Ankhle” who babysit them sometimes (Terra calls Eiji “Mom”). THIS IS JUST A REALLY SOFT SLICE OF LIFE OOO AU THAT IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL.

Near-catastrophic resin pour this morning, good lord. I think the heat and humidity are fucking with stuff. We installed all the air conditioners this weekend except the one in my office, because it was just one too many to haul up from the basement and the bedrooms and primary living space took precedence, and this was definitely a mistake.

I think I’m on the last boss fight of Memory of Heroez but I’m stuck on it and it won’t let you save at this point so I can’t close the game or I’ll have to do a whole other boss fight over again not to mention all the cutscenes so I just haven’t been playing my Switch

As part of Tamashii Nations' monthly S.H. Figuarts stream, a new release from Kamen Rider OOO based on the recent 10th anniversary movie was announced after multiple teases -- Tajador Combo Eternity, the new final form used by OOO in the movie is to be released under the Shinkocchou Seihou line. A retool of the previous Tajador Combo release, the figure features a rainbow of colours across its body to fully capture the on-screen appearance; and comes with alternate hands, the Tajador Eternity medals and 4 extra Tajador medals for the Taja Spinner. As with all previous Shinkocchou Seihou OOO releases, this figure has a fully-functioning Combo Change gimmick and can have its head, torso and leg sections mixed and matched with previous figures like Tatoba, Burakawani and Sagohzo.
