During Wallmire, Trouble defaults to offer you a piggyback ride if his relationship is at least 90, but there's no way to accept it platonically, or accept it without losing romance points with someone else. It's really easy to get a high relationship with almost everyone in the current alpha. I was wondering if it's possible for the game to go through highest romance points first, and THEN check highest relationship. That way if you have high friendship with trouble but high romance with someone else, you still get their scene

Hi there, that's a great catch, thanks for outlining the logic of it so clearly! You're totally right, I've adjusted it now so that it does exactly as you said: checking if any of the boys are the highest romance first, and then if that's not true, checking if Trouble has a high enough relationship to default to getting a platonic piggyback from him! That should be reflected in the next update; thanks again for catching that!

Hi, I'm just letting you know I ran into an error while trying the demo on itch.io. It's after the coupling when the MC is called for a VT interview. The next page displays an error and it's impossible to proceed. I'm not sure if the branching has anything to do with it but it happens while coupled with Arthur.

Guys, since I’m not alone aboard this ship, I wanted to ask you a favor.

As of now, Karlach x Astarion’s specific kiss is bugged.

Also, in the Karlach Origin run, it seems spawn Astarion says he will go to the Hells with Karlach, but in the epilogue, he doesn’t show up with her - he is at the party and acts as a regular companion.

Additionally, this isn’t a bug per se, but it is fucked up, that in the Origin Astarion run, if you do not ascend, you doom Karlach to die even if you romance her.

If you ever played and saw any of these bugs, or even if not - cause I’m telling you they exist and I’ve seen them - please send a bug report to Larian here:

I did report these issues and sent feedback for the issue of Astarion Origin romance with Karlach, but only little old me complaining won’t make them fix this sooner. If more people join me in pointing this out, perhaps we will see it fixed!

Hello, I found this error in chapter 1 when I have to choose the hair color. (⁠ ⁠･ั⁠﹏⁠･ั⁠)

SORRY FOR ALL WHO GOT THIS BUG 😅 I completely messed up with the eyecolor options. Now we have purple, dark purple, red and dark red eye colors!

Hi! There’s a bug where characters call MC by Chase’s nickname instead of by the custom nickname I inputed. I specifically noticed it during Lavinet’s recruitment.

Ayla saunters over and also shakes Lavinet's hand, looking at you sidelong. "Looks like your record of recruiting notables continues, Sunshine," she mutters under her breath as Briony and Lavinet continue to laugh together.

Hi, thanks for pointing that out! I'm assuming the "custom nickname" you inputted was through the quickbuild, and is a shortened version of your MC's full name, rather than an alternative to Chase's specific nickname?

Also, in the future, please use the bug report form linked in the alpha build post to report bugs like this--I don't tend to take these via inbox unless it's really urgent! :)

On a random note, looking for this made me randomly come across this passage (Riel coming to greet you post-Wallmire) again lol:

He nods, then tucks his hands behind him and looks all around at the courtyard, as if searching for something. "I look forward to your debriefing." A pause. "You always have the most fascinating things to say." Another pause. "Not that you are innately more fascinating than anyone else… or any more complex, I mean. What I mean to say is…"

"Holy shit," Chase says from behind him, slouching with his hands in his pockets, looking faintly horrified. "Get a room. Do you wear boxers or briefs, ${nickname}? Because you bet he's looking forward to de-briefing you…"

Riel, very briefly, looks absolutely murderous. Then he smooths his hair and goes back to utter blankness. "I could ruin you, Trinaeste."

"With what, Syndran? Can't figure out how much money I've got if I don't keep financial records." He winks at you. "Hael, I don't even know how to read."

Riel fusses with one of his cufflinks and mutters something very dark under his breath.

Kay bug anon here: I tried in private browser and I still get the bug. It shows up when mrs vox hands mc over to rhea “That is, if Kay is alright with it?" and in the beck and rook italicized section at the end of the demo. I chose the “rook uses my name” option if that helps
