Some things I found interesting about Rooster and Hangman's helmets in TG:M:

Rooster's helmet has a line crossing out all of the letters- this seems to nod to Hangman's helmet, which is a game of hangman

none of the letters used in the word "rooster" are in the word "hangman" hence why the letters are crossed out.

The font on Hangman's helmet is also pretty cool-

Bradley is a hand holder. Partly because it shows he’s with someone and because of the casual affection it has but also because he loved holding hands with his mom.

Jake didn’t get it at first, why be down a hand just to hold someone else’s. But once he got used to it he really got into it.

He doesn’t notice at first but he will reach for Bradley’s hand first now, getting out of a car? Hold hands to wherever they are going. Walk on beach? Hold hands until one of them tosses the other in the ocean. After the most filthy, heart pounding, Jake can’t catch his breath because of something Bradley did with his tongue activity’s? Yeah obviously they hold hands. 

It’s a constant reminder that Bradley picked Jake. He fucking loves it.

He only loves it more once they are married and they have rings, Jake just has his wedding band that was Carol’s and an engagement ring that Bradley picked. Bradley has the one Jake got him and then on the right hand he had his dads band. So that when they hold hands his parents rings are together wrapped in their sons love.

I’ll be honest, I love “Jake is a morning person but Bradley isn’t” or “Bradley’s a morning person but Jake isn’t” as much as the next shipper but consider, they are both morning people but in different ways.

Bradley enjoys his mornings. He loves being awake before anyone else. Watching the sunrise and listening to the sounds of the world around him waking up. He’ll get up and make a pot of coffee, take a mug outside and watch the sun break over the horizon. Sometimes he puts on some low music but if he’s somewhere with birds he lets them be the soundtrack to his morning. Bradley takes his mornings slow.

Jake gets up and gets moving. He can’t sleep past six am no mater where he is in the world. It’s a habit he can’t shake from his childhood where he’d get up before the sun everyday because he had to beat the animals to getting up. He’d eat breakfast and then he and his father would head out to take care of the animals. Now days he starts ever morning with a run. Then he’s in the bathroom doing his complex skin care routine. After he’s done in there it’s breakfast. And then he’s off to work, always early. Always makes a good impression for his COs.

The first time they sleep together they wake within a few moments of each other. Jake goes to get up. Bradley thinks he’s leaving and grabs his arm, “stay, please.” And Jake can’t say no. So for the first time in his memory Jake takes his morning slow. They cuddle. Bradley gives him a blowjob and he returns the favor. They shower together, it’s a long one where they just take each other in, nothing sexual just admiring the other. And Jake is thinking, damn, how the hell did I land this perfect man? Eventually they make it to Bradley’s kitchen where Bradley puts on a pot of coffee and Jake starts making scrambled eggs. Bradley drapes himself against Jake’s back while he cooks. When their two plates of eggs and toast are done Bradley leads Jake outside to the porch and they enjoy the sunrise, although they took their morning slow enough that it’s mostly risen already. Sitting there in companionable silence Jake thinks to himself, I could get use to this.
