Idol Club Shareholder Letter

A/N: NOT SMUT. This is Idol Club lore written in the form of a shareholder letter. I promise you'll be rewarded with a bunch of easter eggs and future Idol Club spoilers if you read the whole thing. Enjoy while I prepare a proper comeback soon!

My fellow shareholders,

I was there on Opening Day next to Founder Kim as the VP of Public Relations when we officially opened the doors to our maiden Idol Club branch in Gangnam. Since then, I’ve risen through the ranks at Idol Club Entertainment, serving as the Chief Communications Officer for the last eight months. I’ve given many speeches on behalf of this company, addressed our employees through countless emails, and weathered the storm of numerous media queries during the Aberration scandal. Yet, never could I have imagined addressing you all in this annual shareholder letter, a job usually reserved for Founder Kim who has served as chairman since day one.

Founder Kim has been a pioneer and visionary in leading this company into the next golden age of technology and entertainment, so it came as a shock to receive Founder Kim’s resignation from the company last month. We wish Founder Kim all the best.

Rest assured, as the newly elected chairman of Idol Club Entertainment, I will do everything in my power to continue to steer this ship in the right direction, staying true to Founder Kim’s original vision while maintaining the best interests of our stakeholders.

That said, the transition in leadership could not have come at a worse time. These are murky and uncertain waters, and I’ve been tasked with guiding us through a global economic crisis, war, a chip shortage, and rising inflation across the world.

But we remain resilient.

2022 has shown us that as the world slowly emerges out of the pandemic and we find our cadence to the “new normal”, our customers are flocking to Idol Club for things they lacked in 2020 and 2021: social interactions, intimacy without consequence, and a damn good time.

And our numbers support that. Even though we temporarily lost the licensing rights to Everglow’s Yiren (one of our highest-rated and popular models) due to her sudden hiatus, we saw our profits soar to unimaginable heights in 2022, bringing a 403% increase in profits compared to 2021! This could not have been possible without all the strides we’ve made across all sectors of our business. From our engineers to the hosts at the front lines and even all the way down to our sanitation specialists, each one of our employees has helped us deliver an exceptional product and live up to our slogan to “make dreams a reality”.

Differentiators in 2022

But profits aren’t the only thing to smile about as we close out the fiscal year: reviews and ratings are up not just for the company, but also across all of our android models, finishing the year with an average rating of 4.92 out of 5 stars, up from 4.89 in 2021. We also received the prestigious Club of the Year award for the third year in a row. There were also a couple of huge accomplishments we achieved this year which helped differentiate our brand from our competitors:

Idol Club Goes International

Earlier this year, we launched our first Idol Club branch overseas in the heart of Singapore’s red light district, which has outperformed initial profit estimates by 32%. Customers are flocking to the affluent city-state in Southeast Asia and have helped us carve out a hearty 60% market share in Singapore’s escort sector. I’d like to thank the local government, our staff, and our external risk assessment vendor for making this all possible.

This is just the beginning. As part of Idol Club Entertainment’s five year plan, we are looking into entering the three largest markets in the world: China, Japan, and the United States. This is not an easy task, however. Each market has its own local laws and regulations that inhibit our current business model. We’ve hired local teams in these markets working around the clock with the hope that we can eventually enter these markets in a viable and legal way.

JYP Entertainment Signs Exclusive Idol Club Contract

I am proud to announce that after months of negotiation, we were able to land our biggest client to date in JYP Entertainment Corp (JYPE, KOSDAQ: 035900). This brings aboard TWICE, by far the most requested group by our customers, to the Idol Club family in addition to other JYPE girl groups like ITZY and select members of NMIXX and NiziU. This exclusive contract helps to diversify the products and services offered by the Idol Club brand as well as keep us ahead of our competitors.

It has only been a few months since we onboarded JYPE to our family of companies, but our Chaeyoung and Nayeon models have already been wildly successful at our Idol Zoo subsidiary, accounting for nearly 36% of all 2022 sales in just Q3 alone. Our plan is to introduce our Tzuyu models at our Singapore branch in early Q1, followed by the rest of the JYPE idols spread across our various brands. This further cements our commitment to providing our customers with the largest catalog of idols in the adult idol entertainment industry, joining our already star-studded premium lineup featuring BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, and aespa.

First Subsidiary Idol Zoo Launches

Expansion of our Idol Club flagship branch successfully completed in Q1 this year, introducing Idol Zoo, our first subsidiary, to the family of companies. This has led to numerous opportunities for brand exposure to the public.

Currently, Idol Zoo houses numerous ‘exhibits’ that our customers have access to, including free public shows known as the ‘Exhibitionist Exhibits’, such as the monthly Chaeyoungs show and the daily topless teasers. For the not-so-adventurous, we also offer private encounters for our paying customers. Among the exhibits our customers can peruse and enjoy: the Feline and Rodent display with the aforementioned Chaeyoungs; our popular Bunny Breeding Grounds featuring such idols as TWICE’s Nayeon, ex-IZ*ONE leader Kwon Eunbi, Kep1er’s Yujin, and Billlie’s Tsuki; and the Aquatic Animals Squirt Zone, featuring various idols who really know how to make a splash.

In 2023, we plan to further expand our exhibits, bringing in TWICE’s Mina to headline the new Penguin Habitat, as well as adding a new Screaming Deer Show to our line of Exhibitionist Exhibits featuring Oh My Girl’s Arin and NMIXX’s Sullyoon.

Endorsements from Idols

We’ve been fortunate this year to feature some surprise appearances from idols, both as clients and cameo performers, ranging from Weki Meki’s Choi Yoojung to ex-IZ*ONE’s Kang Hyewon, and many more who have preferred to not be named. And although this represents a tiny fraction of our sales, their endorsements and appearances at Idol Club have helped strengthen our brand reputation as the leader in adult idol entertainment. Their continued partnership undoubtedly will help us develop relationships with other labels not yet licensed to Idol Club Entertainment. These endorsements alone accounted for 12% of client referrals, not an insignificant number to our bottom line.

The Road Ahead

As we look ahead toward the next fiscal year, we are launching a bunch of new products and services that we hope will entice more customers and bring in new revenue. There are many great things to look forward to, but there’s also things we need to account for in our 2023 forecasts as well.

Generation 2 Androids

With our Gen 1 androids nearing the end of their lifecycle, we began replacing our fleet with the new Gen 2 androids at the start of Q4 this year, continuing the rollout into Q1 until we are 100% transitioned. Our engineers have made enhancements to the current hardware and completely revamped the software, providing customers with an even better sensual experience with the addition of reactive sweat glands and more realistic skin made with a polymer built in-house.

The software has been finely tuned to ensure a 0% chance of any Aberrations, but perhaps the most exciting development with these next-gen androids is the limitless options for customizations. The new models are modular, meaning each part of their body can be switched out quickly for different parts to create the customer’s ideal idol.

We plan to roll out the customizations in Q3 with an OTA update, allowing our customers to change the stock model androids to their heart’s desire: hair color, eye color, breast size, you name it. If they can dream it, we can build it.

More Product Offerings

As an entertainment company, we cannot be complacent with our current product offering. Customers will always seek out more thrills, and we must be ready to pivot and innovate when the tides change in order to meet the growing demands of our customers. We are exploring different ways to increase profits in 2023 by making our product more accessible to a wider audience without sacrificing the brand reputation and trust that Idol Club Entertainment has come to be known for.

In early Q1, we will be testing a weekly ‘lottery’ where one lucky winner will be chosen at random for a 1-hour session with any of our androids from our product lines in Tier 3 and below. Each ticket to the lottery will be sold at an affordable price yet to be determined, thus making it more accessible for customers who may not normally have access to Idol Club. Our research indicates there is an itch that needs to be scratched in this demographic, one that has not yet been tapped into by our competitors. If profitable, we plan to roll out the offering permanently, simultaneously introducing a secondary monthly lottery with a higher ticket price, with the winner given access to our premium Tier 4 and Tier 5 product lines.

For our current customers, we are rolling out a tiered subscription plan in Q2 that will work in tandem with our current on-demand pricing scheme. In total, there will be three different tiers, each offering unlimited visits to Idol Club for a specified time period: a week, a month, or a year. Each of the three tiers is broken down even further into a basic plan which allows access to Tier 3 and lower products, and a premium plan offered for an upcharge, allowing the customer access to our full line of androids across all product tiers.

A possible Idol Club Rewards program is also currently in the works. Though I have no further information at this time, our teams are working hard to roll out this program in Q4 of 2023.

Proposition 12

It would be irresponsible of me to end this letter and not mention Proposition 12 currently being voted on, and I’ve saved this issue for last because it is the biggest detriment to Founder Kim’s dream and affects every single employee and shareholder of Idol Club Entertainment. If Proposition 12 passes legislation, our successes from this past year and our roadmap for next year will be all for naught. Proponents of Proposition 12 want the general public to believe that our androids are sentient, that they should be afforded the same rights as human beings, thus making Idol Club operations illegal under current South Korean laws. Meanwhile, other proponents argue androids should be shut down entirely because they are dangerous, citing the Aberration scandal.

I want to assure our shareholders that these arguments hold no merit. We’ve hired an external research team that has concluded that while our androids are best in class, they are not sentient. Their findings also concluded that there was no evidence of remaining Aberrations. We continue to deliver a sound product; our engineering teams worked tirelessly to quickly rectify the bugs shortly after news of the Aberration scandal first broke. Still, the possibility looms that Proposition 12 proponents could sway public opinion enough to make it the law of the land.

I want to thank our legal team and lobbyists who have fought for us to make sure that Idol Club Entertainment stays in business. However, it will ultimately fall into the hands of the voters, so I am asking our shareholders to be proactive and vote ‘No’ on Proposition 12 in this upcoming election. Tell your family. Tell your friends. Together, we can make sure Idol Club continues to operate.

In the event that Proposition 12 passes, we have contingencies in place to make sure Idol Club Entertainment continues to operate in some capacity, and we are also exploring other sectors to further strengthen our current contingency plans. These plans aren’t 100% fool-proof, which is why I cannot stress enough just how important voting against Proposition 12 is.

Closing Statement

Idol Club Entertainment started from just an idea from Founder Kim, an idea that sprouted into a dream, and a dream that blossomed into a reality. There’s a storm brewing in the form of Proposition 12 that threatens our budding business, but all storms pass, and from the clouds emerges the sunlight. We will weather this storm, and when the clouds clear, we will prevail.

I would like to thank all of our shareholders for continuing to believe in us enough to invest in our product. I look forward to serving as your new chairman for the foreseeable future and hope to make Founder Kim proud. And as always, I will continue to operate this company with our core value in mind, the same core value that Founder Kim used as the foundation for Idol Club Entertainment, and the same one that continues to drive our company to be the best in the world:

the implicit non-verbal communication and trust between them when she’s on the ground and he’s up in the church

when Joel goes to hug Tommy and Ellie watches on with this look of hurt and longing on her face - maybe because she wants that kind of care from Joel so bad, maybe because she thought he just wasn’t an affectionate person but now she sees he’s just not affectionate with her, maybe because she’s realizing that Joel is family to her but he already has a family and no matter how much she cares about him he’s never going to need her in the same way never going to view her in the same way because he already has what she never did

Ellie defending Joel to Maria because how dare this stranger judge her father figure? she knows all she needs to know about him, she’s certain that they understand each other in a way that nobody else does.

and the astonishment and happiness when she comes back to save him, the way he can’t thank her for doing so because he knows it’d be better if she left but he’s just so glad she’s staying and how she looks at him for courage before she starts stitching him up and he grips her hand so tight and i love them so much

So I was up from 12am to 5am reading ACFTL and I honestly can't believe that it's over now. Like my brain can genuinely not wrap my head around it. The book I have been waiting for months. The series I've been reading since it was only ouabh. I honestly can't believe it's done now.

So these are just my thoughts on acftl: (SPOILERS BTW)

So I want to start with things I didn't like because I like to end things on a more positive note:

● There was a lot of potential for other things that Stephanie has hinted to in the past (just basically a lot of unanswered questions) that I can't simply believe isn't anything bigger:

> "too familiar nickname" when Jacks called her Little Fox for the first time. This had the potential to be something really big, but the fact that Eva has no connection to the fox is just leaving me confused (as in being the first fox or a reincarnation). Like how. Especially when it was heavily hinted to in the past.

> "heavier than an apple should've been" when Jacks threw an apple at Eva in ouabh. I don't understand what this was supposed to mean if it just ended up being nothing. Like why did it have to be mentioned

> An Evajacks wedding was heavily hinted to in ouabh (even the reverse dust jacket for bn acftl). I just would have liked to see that.

● For me, some of the plot points just felt very disconnected and not linked, to the point where it felt like just random things being stringed together. Like it felt like things were just happening, as if I was reading different books at the same time.

● Acftl kinda feels like after tbona, Stephanie went online and saw everyone's theories and aimed to do the exact opposite. Sometimes I felt so confused because it felt like random facts and points were just thrown at me. Or this felt like this was the original version that Stephanie wrote.

●Why was time personified constantly?

●Where was my boy, Luc? I love him and I missed him so much. I was waiting for him to pop up on the page or make a creepy/funny appearance ("Hello, Eva" - I always laughed when he pulled stuff like this).

●Even though she's not relevant, where was Marisol? You can't tell me she just disappeared. I would have just liked to know what happened to her.

●Aurora's role felt so random.

●The whole thing about Jacks's curse felt to simple and barely touched on.

●I would have liked a better answer on Jacks’s obsession with apples. Like I understand it was left like that on purpose but it would have been nice.

●I would have liked the return of Scarlet and Tella. They were the ones who sent Evangeline to the Magnificent North. It would have been nice to see them after all of that and Jacks and Tella could have gotten some sort of closure.

●I love how everyone was hell-bent on the fact that apollo is lysander. The fact that everyone believed Apollo was Lysander started to make me doubt it. When Lysander appeared on the page, I was surprised tbh.

● Tbona established their clear feelings for each other and acftl was them just accepting it.

●Anyways I need domestic evajacks. Like 20 chapters. The bonus epilogues healed me.

My theories that were actually right: ●Tiberius slashing Apollo’s back

●Aurora having some type of magic and being the true villain. I was so sure that she was obsessed with Jacks and placed the Archer's curse.

~"My turn" if you know, you know. Something I never knew I needed. And I need more. There is never such thing as too much Evajacks.

Me having mixed feelings about acftl hurts so much because I've been waiting for this book for so long (I've been reading this series since it was only ouabh). I haven't been able to wrap my head around the fact that this is the official book. Ouabh and Tbona were soo amazing. They were so magical and fairytale like and I cried after I finished acftl, not just because the series was over (because I did) but because it didn't live up to the expectations I had and the high standards that ouabh and tbona set.

This series will always and forever be the series I go back to when I'm sad. Regardless of how it ended, I loved it because Stephanie created a new definition of magic and fairytale for me.

Been quietly tapping away at the keyboard, and mostly sorting out the threads of my underlying plots to make sure everything lines up, not easy when you've got variations and split routes, but I've made the rod for my own back so I can't really complain.

Benny did not expect to find The others once he awoke he had assumed they were all on missions or some sort of wacky adventures and that they wouldn't return for awhile and he was all to tired to try and figure out where they had went.

He had just finished up his newest Mechs for some certain clients who wanted a vary of different types. The first wanting a green and Black spotted Mech with explosives The second wanting a sort of tall black purple eyed puppet mech that could teleport or just move to another spot quickly.

But that would be a story for another time what was happening right now was that Benny was Exhausted from testing his newest mechs and didn't plan on any adventures Today so he decided to lay on the flat mattress that had been laid out on the ground for whenever they have movie nights and take what he thought would be a quick nap.

His eyes were still shut but the weight on his lower body was Heavier then what he felt when he went to sleep, He reluctantly opened his eyes to avoid any sunlight or light in general only to realize it must have been close to 8 or 9 o'clock, That and the fact most of his team had been laying on his stomach and legs.

Benny mind was both slightly shocked and still sleepy, from what it looked like Ana and Jake must have found him and layed ontop of him first then Mara Tayren and Sterling all finding them and decided to lay next to them.

Benny was a bit Shocked at first but then only gave a soft chuckle as he tried his best to slither his legs out from under the pile successfully managing to free himself without waking the others but being given a few grunts and groans as a reaction.

He began to turn and leave as he felt a hand tighten around his leg causing him to stop and look down to who had 'caught' him.

"Hm what is it kid?" Benny softly whispered trying not to wake the others still wanting to know what Ana wanted crouching down to her level."

"Don't go" Ana Tiredly mummered barely awake with there eyes still closed.

"I'll only be gone for a second to grab some blankets kid I'll be right back okay?" Benny Whisperd back reassuring them as they gently rustled a bit of their hair pushing it out of there face.

Their lossend hand fell and was tucked away fom Bennys ankle.

"Mm-tokay dad" Ana oblivious and sleepily mummerd falling back into a deep snooze leaving Benny in a suprised state, Picking himself up and bringing himself to the storage closet to find what blankets he could.

Some of the spare blankets they had were given to Harold the cowboy Gooby or 'Archibald' and Zashchitnik managed to capture who was locked up in one of the spare rooms but Benny managed to still find some.

They had picked up a few of the blankets tucking it under his arm before Abruptly stopping. His hand gripped at the blanket and shelf as his head was lowered down on it.

His eyes were pushed into the Soft blanket and if it were not for the Fuzzy coat of the fabric tears would most definitely be seen trailing down. His teeth clenched shut and he wanted to bite at the wood of the shelf itself.

He didn't deserve this team he did bad things in his past and he knows it and had manage to somewhat move past it but little things and memories would linger.

'What if something comes back and hurt them' 'What did I do to deserve such good people'

What did The Sharpgang do to deserve terrible or deciesed parents leading them to see him as a Father, Benny thought to himself his hand that was gripping the shelf now gripping his hair as he stayed there for about a minute before calming himself down and returning to the pile as if nothing had happened.

He dropped the fluffy fabric over his teammates who were deep asleep Cuddling against each other and holding onto one another.

It reminded him of cats curling up together giving him a small noticeable smile as he stepped back to give the sleeping pile some more space.

"Exciting day I guess you guys had?" A gruff quiet voice remarked a two arms wrapping around Benny's shoulders and chest one being mechanical.

"Champ? What are you doing here?" Benny questioned turning to look at there partner who had rested their head on there Shoulder, not that he was upset he was their.

"You haven't responded to my texts in the last four hours witch is unusual for you so I assumed you were kidnapped or busy and I decided to check on you" Champagne confirmed looking towards the pile of sleeping kids.

"It's like 8:52 Why would I respond at a time like this?" Benny teased giving a small kiss to the taller man.

"Were both Insomniacs benny" Champange declared returning the kiss.

"True can't argue with that" Benny agreed placing his head against Champanges softly before turning back to look at the pile.

"? What's wrong and don't even try to deflect the question" Champange interrogated.

Benny opened his mouth prepared to make up some sort excuse only to leave his voice missing as he sighed, his head falling down.

"I don't really know myself I think? and... ah I can't really explain it." Or from the tone of his voice it was just that he didn't '`Want' to explain it.

"Well that sucks" Champange teased nudging Benny.

"-gasp- How dare you steal my personality" Benny dramatically reacted receiving a small chuckle from them and himself.

"Come on its almost midnight and we should sleep," Benny advises, dragging Champ over to the couch.

"Fine but only becuase The Sci-5 are on vacation and your team 'Knows' how to cook" Champange said tiredly with a barely noticeable smile.

"Atleast give them credit for trying" Benny commented laying into of champange dragging a blanket otop them, Feeling their chest raise and lower, the sharpgang would most definitely find them but that didn't matter they mostly already know..

Well... except maybe sterling.

sO I had this idea swimming in the back of my head, and now I have the time to write it! HAHAHHA I have other fic i am working on but I need to get this out of my head first. Sorry bn ekbgkhetge SPOILERS FOR HLVRAI WARNINGS: Some gore mentions but nothing too bad

It was done. The grand show coming to an end. His evil planing paying off all because Gordon couldn't send the evening playing games with him and his buddies.

At least thats all Benery could come up with on the spot. He was tasked in playing the bad guy in this game the few of them had started. It was much more entertaining than other games he had played before. Hell. It was like a video game came to life. Couldn’t ask for more could you? And to be given a star role?? This was everything Benery could have asked for. And so the game had continued on, plot twists and all. The final fight being… well, a little too much for Benery’s tastes. It had actually hurt! Not that he had much experience with pain or injury before but still! What he could feel wasn’t very nice! He had stuck to his role till the end and some after, but he was tied. It had been a few days of putting up this role and the final act were a lot. Some shut eye later and everyone was gone. Had they left him? Gone to sleep as well? He couldn’t see them around the odd alien world. Did they…. Go home? But why would they do that? Why would they leave him? It was his turn to be the good guy! They couldn’t just leave right after the first game!

Standing, the grey tinted alien shook himself, getting any dust and dirt off before starting off to find his newly found friend group. It’s quite silly of them to think they could just run away from him. Had they been successful in the past? No! So what made them think they could be now?

It wasn’t hard to figure his way back to the earthen soil he had once stomped through. The only difference would be the location. He knew black mesa would be fucked beyond belief. Either destroyed or swarming with the military that he and the team had killed so many of already. He would just have to start away from his once home, somewhere with people. Would they be close to Black Mesa still? Maybe. Gordon did come in to work. He had to live close enough to do so.

The closest place just happened to be a city. An hour or so’s drive from the science facility. Not that Benery needed a car, even if he had a car. A quick jump through space and time should do the trick! Going from Alien world he didn’t care to get the name of, even if he was from there, to desert destroyed science place, to the middle of a large bustling city that his larger ears started to hurt from all the noise. Right… no helmet. Looking at the rest of his clothes in the wider allieway he popped himself to, he noticed they where outright destroyed. Humans didn’t like seeing blood did they. Hmm.

He pulled the vest off, throwing it to the side. Pulling the sleeves of his nicer dress shirt off to remove any concerning sights. The vest had protected his shirt from most of the damage, still having some holes but keeping it from being stained red. His pants he could only do so much for. Making them into shorts helped but still left damage and stains. AT least they were black, they should help hide any blood or other concerning sights. Once he decided he looked descent enough, he started to head out into this city.

Great. Not going to be an issue finding four people in a large area with thousands of other people. Maybe he didn’t think this through all the way… Not a problem. He wasn’t human. He could just search for one of their scents and follow that to find ‘em!

He ignored the looks the humans around him gave, he didn’t have time for them nor there lame questions. He looked different, he knew that, so did everyone of them. Was he all that different? Rolling his eyes, he pressed on.

It could be better. It could also be worse. He had almost been hit by 3 cars, yelled at by more that just the three drivers, and had been mugged for all he had. Which wasn’t anything so not as bad as it could have been he supposed. He had looked all night and now the sun had crept back up he was hot. Like sweating and over heating hot. He had found a place to hide, a grassy area with trees and odd constructs that smaller humans creeped and hunted each other around. He parked himself in one of the yellow tubes within one of the constructs. Who knew the outside world could be this horrible? Humans had to deal with this? Ugh, he could not deal with this. He would rather eat a lemon than live in the city any longer than he already had spent here.

His thoughts where interrupted as one of the smaller humans patted his arm.

“suce me!”

“whuh?”

Benery’s yellow eyes snapped to the toddler. He looked so weird. Like a smaller friend of his. The bushy brown hair with the darker freckled skin. He was missing a tooth as he grinned at the alien.

“scue me!” The small human pointed to the other side of the tube Benery was blocking.

”oh, yea.” Pulling his legs to his body, he made room for this odd child as he giggled and crawled over. The yellow eyes never leaving the smaller figure as it left. Even then Benery crawled to the edge of the tube to watch as the little figure slid down more plastic construct. Dashing out full of laughter over too-

“Gordon-“

Oh shit! He found him! One of his friends! Was that his kid? What’s his face? Doesn’t matter. He found one of them! He can follow him now! Get him to play his game again! Benery being the hero this time around of course.

His claws dug into the soft plastic as he gripped the rim of the tube starting at the small family of two. He would have to follow them in the light, which he was willing to do even though he knew it would be hell. He was a creature of the night, not what ever this bullshit was.

He waited, watching Gordon the full time, eyes never leaving. Even when he feels something lay down on top of him.

“Wat you doin?”

”watchin’”

“Wat you watchin?”

He hummed, looking up at the child, the fizzy hair and eyes of Gordon looking right at him. He couldn’t have been older than Benery, he was far too little. How old do humans get again? He didn’t know, but the little one where usually not but a few years at most. Yea, Benery was defiantly older.

“Him.” His eyes looked back to Gordon, who was on his phone sitting down.

“Oh, Daddy?” The kid crawled to lay next to the grey skinned man.

“Yo, that’s your dad? Kinda cringe.” He gave a slight side eye to the small Gordon, watching as the kid mimicked his posture.

“Yea! He’s gunna get me ice cream after we play!” He grinned up at Benery, ignoring the playful insult. “My name is Joshua!” He unfolded one of his arms to offer his hand to the alien.

”Cool. Sounds nice.” He looked at the hand, trying to remember what it was code for. He decided it was one of the secret thing best bros do, the handshake type. He just needed to get the combo right. Unfolding his own hand he gave it a smack, before doing so again with the back of his hand to the smaller one, ending it with a half fist bump. The smile and giggles he got made him smile back. Successful combo, yessss.

”Wat’s your name!” Oh right. Humans trade names or something.

“Benery.” He was sure he had broken this human when it grinned further.

“Well! You are my friend now!” Benery watched lazily as the kid pulled something out, only caring when said thing was shoved on his face.

“Whuh? What-“ He didn’t get to finish his brewing string of questions as Gordon yelled for his offspring and something about this ice cream. Joshua dashing away to get to his father.

Where they leaving? Lord he could hear Gordon talk about getting in a car. Benery shuttered at the thought of his night. He wasn’t a fan of cars to say the least. Hell, how was he going to follow Gordon’s scent if he was in a car?

Apparently he wasn’t paying attention as Joshua had crawled back up to him and poked his face. He must have made a funny face as the child giggles at him.

“Come on! We are gunna go get ice cream if your momma or daddy says it’s okay!”

“Oh umm, yea they would be chill with it…”

The cheer was short lived as the smaller Gordon ran to the slide, after pulling on Benery’s arm for the alien to follow.

“What is this?”

”Itsa slide! You go down! See!” Pushing himself, Josua slide down, “weeee!!!”

”Funky….” Benery sat down doing the same, minus the sound effects. He might have been a little too big as he nailed his head going around one of the bends of the twisted slide.

“okay Joshie, you ready to go? Your friend is okay with going?”

Oh shit. Gordon was gunna take him? I mean, he propably should have guessed that but at the moment it wasn’t something he had thought about. Holding his head still from his earily hit, not that it really hurt, he started at the man as his eyes followed the pointing finger of the smaller human.

Benery could have blinked and missed it. The look of peace and happiness took only a split second to shift into an icey horror with a hint of hate.

”Benery?!?!”
