I also feel you on the KHR reboot, though I can't find it in myself to completely give up hope. You know what I would happily settle for? The manga being put back in print. I live in the USA and I hate that it isn't sold anymore
anywhere. It's near impossible to find. And you can't find anything after the Future Arc. Hell, I'd love to have an official translation of the Hidden Bullet novels and such.
Anyways, I know it's unlikely to happen but I'd still love to see it. Thanks again for your amazing posts. 💕💕
I can definitely get not wanting to completely give up hope! I wish with all my soul a reboot would come along and surprise us all, revitalize the fandom, so I get the want for it, just don't really think it will happen sadly! Oh my god though, do I feel you on that one. Canada here - I have volumes 1-5 and 7-10 collected in earlier days of the fandom before they became quite so impossible to find. I cannot find volume 6 anywhere and even finding any volumes past 10 now? Impossible, unless I want the original Japanese versions and even then, they're used copies and expensive. I'd honestly love to see a rerelease of the whole manga, especially if they'd put out omnibus editions to make it easier to collect and afford! And you are definitely preaching to the choir on the Hidden Bullet novels. I have so many other series where translations of the light novels are easy to find and it should've been like that with KHR. Hell, I bought the School Briefs for BNHA and the BSD light novels right from my Kindle! The Hidden Bullet novels, translated and readily available, I think would have drawn a lot of fans in. The fan translations I've read were all solid, yes, but hard to find and I had to use Google Translate on a couple of them, but the stories alone?? God, some of them were absolutely incredible and they all added a lot of really interesting aspects to the characters! You're not alone in those wishes at all and I'm with you - I doubt it would happen. I'm sure the publishers and such don't think there's enough of a demand, but it would be like 20+ years of Christmases all at once if it ever happened! And aww, thank you for such sweet words and for stopping by to talk with me 😊

Accidental Courting
Vidow bnha/quirk au
They just. Basically they just make out in a classroom sorry I don't make the rules
Read on Ao3
This was really starting to get out of hand, a purple haired goth mused to himself. Not unfondly, but still exasperated. Black painted claws scraped his scalp as Shadow ran a hand through his locks with a low sigh. He jolted as an electric pulse ran down his spine, suddenly the light pressure of feathers ran across his shoulder blades. As Shadow turned just in time to see one Violet Atari looking back at him mischievously, the wing snapping back to its proper place folded against his back. Shadow did not miss the implication of invitation that motioned them towards an empty classroom. He looked around, gulped, and followed hesitantly. This was becoming routine. It made him uncharacteristically nervous. Shadow's heart raced as he thought about just how he'd gotten into this. He really should have done his research. Not that the development between himself and the starling was something he regretted. The opposite really. Shadow shut the door behind him, swiftly being backed into a wood desk. What a delightful mess he was in.
It had started with what had been a usual morning. Pick on stupid people, weirdos, or unusual quirks. (Not unlike himself honestly not that he would ever admit it). Since becoming comfortable enough with his environment Vio had been bringing a lunch of better dietary value to him. His quirk being a mutation of a ravenous starling placed into a human body. The predatory translation made him require raw meat in his diet. Vio could eat other things but most of the time they gave little to no value at best and made him feel sick at worst.
Shadow's main target of aggression had a special treat in store today. The demon boy flashed his sharp fangs grinning to himself. He held a large wrapped bundle in his hands. A few people were giving him odd looks as he passed. Most of Vio's squad (read: flock) would be busy helping at the club recruitment fair over lunchtime leaving Vio all alone. The avian sat in their habit spot. Outside against one of the tall oak trees. The perfect spot to either sunbathe or sit in the shade.
The blonde was there. Sitting cross legged to try and relieve some stress against his dew claw talons getting smashed into boots all day. One hand holding his book and the other donning a pair of chopsticks that carried pieces of chicken cubes for his lunch. If someone wasn't looking close no one would really notice anything strange about it. Except the obviously undercooked pink poultry.
Shadow wore his shoulders set proudly. He would teach Vio a lesson about his strange dietary habits. Thinking back on it, he really should have thought this through a little more.
"Hey, birdbrain! Think fast." Shadow yeeted the wrapped object at his head from about ten feet away. Surprisingly good aim. Without looking up the blonde shoved the chopsticks in his mouth. Using his now free hand, the starling caught the oddly large package that attempted to assault his face. Vio's face scrunched up, turning his attention from the book to the rival. A feat of itself, getting his attention away from one of his beloved novels. Vio ended up snapping his plastic chopsticks in his mouth when he unwrapped the 'gift'.
Vio's gaze swapped between the wrapped giant pink salmon fillet in his hand and Shadow's now retreating and cackling form. Face shifting into absolute bewilderment and confusion. Little did Shadow know, as he would find out later, gifting avians of predator any kind of fresh prey was considered a courtship offering. He'd just asked him out.
Shadow hums low in his chest. Back in that empty classroom. He was sat up on a desk, legs open with Vio standing slotted between them. Hips pressed firmly together. The demon's one hand sat behind him on the fake wood for support as the blonde ravaged his mouth. The other curled into smooth blonde locks. Vio ran a taloned hand on Shadow's inner thigh and the other up and inside his rumpled school uniform button up. He lets his mind wander back to their first kiss while his body melted in bliss. Shadow could get used to this.
It had been a few days since the fish incident. Vio had called out for all of them under the guise of being sick. Today was the first day back he has shown up. Notably he wasn't wearing the glove tip guards on his hands he usually wore for protection. Of himself and others as he's accidentally nicked himself one too many times before. Nothing more annoying than that. The demon smirked at Vio as he came up on him quickly. Seeming almost angered and rushed. He notes the freed claws with a glance. Only worrying when his pace did not slow.
The blonde shoved him against the locker making it rattle. Shadow was beginning to get nervous as he got right up to his face.
"You." Vio growled out. Shadow hummed in question, feigning innocence.
"Me~?" He played off his wavering voice for teasing.
The boy flipped up his sunglasses visor to meet eyes. Shadow stiffened in shock. The 0retty red and blue mismatch of Shadow's eyes widened at the most beautiful shade of purple iris he's ever seen. Small black slits for Vio's pupils moved into dilating extremely wide at the attention. A predatory grin flashed to reveal his unblocked fangs. No football style mouth guard to protect Vio's tongue and lips from sharp raptor teeth. Or Shadow's face. Shadow paled; thoughts and heart racing. This was it, he'd gone too far and now he would have to pay. Then why did it feel like his heart would pound out of his chest in a good way? He let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding as the blonde leaned in even closer. He was unsure whether to stick his gaze to his dilated eyes or his chapped lips.
He settled for eyes as those chapped lips pushed against his own. Barely any purple color left in them from flaring out. A soft rumble came out of Shadow, vibrating his torso. He hadn't meant to make the pleased sound, it sort of just melted put of him. Vio's sharp canine nipped Shadow's bottom lip. In warning or marking he wasn't sure. The avian sucked on it to pause the bleeding before pulling back. "Mm. Thought so~" Vio gave the flustered boy some room to stare him down. He flicked the colored lenses back over his face looking satisfied. Even with the cover, the demon could tell his eyes were still blown wide. As Shadow stammered non words while his brain restarted, Vio spun on his heels and headed off in the direction of homeroom class. Shadow whipped his head around to check if anyone saw. Shadow had to run into a bathroom to deal with a new embarrassing problem. He has never been so frightened and turned on in his life.
He was having that same problem now. Attention raptly brought back to the boy in front of him with his neck being nipped at. Soft red lines scratched across his stomach and hip to match faint scars of similar caliber. The other hand inching much closer to his bulging jeans than Vio usually dared to. Shadoe let a soft sigh escape his lips with a pleased shudder. Vio brushed down his bruised marked up neck. His wings were puffed out to their whole huge span. The light caught them just right looking like iridescent gasoline. Shadow jumped as the bell to release homeroom went off. The blonde pulled back.
"Damn." He sounded disappointed. "I actually care about my next class." He reluctantly let the demon go. Curling his feathery appendages back close to his back.
"Whuh- hey!" Shadow called after his retreating form. "You can't just leave me like this!" Flushed, panting, and a slight embarrassing problem. He ran a hand through feathers as they escaped him.
Vio turned around hesitating. A full body shiver from the contact. He clicked his tongue at him. "Fine, fine. I'll send the picture I owe you in exchange for leaving." He flicked the glasses on, snapping his plastic tooth cover on and the gloves. "We can continue this at lunch?"
He relents with a nod. "You better." He crossed his arms. Vio left the room. Shadow cursed, "Shit, guess I need to find another bathroom." He sneaks off to do just that.
Halfway through their hour lunch break sat the two outside. Vio in Shadow's hoodie, back cut to push his wings through. Both of their hair were a complete mess. Red giggled at them as she sat down to join. The starling puffed up proudly, looking very satisfied with himself.

Bnha Light Novel Volume 1 Translations Chapter 3 Part 3
Soo, it’s been a long time, but I finally have the motivation to continue. Hope ya’ll had a wonderful Christmas this year or just holiday, cause I didn’t celebrate shit, expect for shopping with a good friend.
Well, without wasting any room, let’s continue
“Hello, U.A. High School.”
“Hello? I am Todoroki Shouto’s family from Class 1A, I’m looking for Class A’s supervisor Aizawa- sensei.”
The voice from the receiver sound’s like a young woman, Aizawa keeps searching for Todoroki’s family members in his mind.
(Family...... I remember in Todoroki’s residence......)
“Hello, I am Aizawa, please to meet you. I beg your pardon, but you are......”
“Ah, sorry, I’m his sister.I’m the one who should thanking you for taking care of our Shouto.”(precious Fuyumi)
“This call came in the right time, I just contacted your home.”
“Really? Sorry, I just came home. The teachers meeting was really prolonged ......”
Those familiar words made Aizawa slightly shock.
“Teachers meeting?...... Aah, I remember that you seems to be an elementary school teacher right?”
“Ah, yes...... two teachers having a conversation like this seems weird.”
Even though they’re from the same family, but the sister was different than Todoroki, her voice coming from the phone has a  caring and talkative aura.
(But, for a hard to get along and cold type of person probably wouldn’t be an elementary school teacher.) (like you Aizawa)
“What did you call for...... did anything happened to Shouto......?”
“As she thought of what Aizawa just said, her voice became worried.
“No, I’m just informing you about parents day.”
“Is that so.”
Hearing Aizawa’s simplistic answer, she lets out a sigh of relief.
Aizawa thinks back to Todoroki’s first appearance when he first entered high school. Even though he’s strong, but he refuses to involve with anyone. From his looks, when Todoroki was in middle school and elementary school, the school must’ve reported some bad news. (poor boy)
“May I ask who is going to the event on that day?”
“Ah, that would be me. I wanted to actually ask you something about parents day.......”
“Sure.”
“Can I record on that day? I definitely won’t interfere the teacher’s class.”
(Recording? To keep as a memento? That’s pretty caring.)
That rare request made Aizawa puzzled a bit.
“Really sorry, for safety purposes, the school prohibits bringing any recording devices.”
“Is that so......”
Her voice originally sounded regretful, but as Aizawa started to concisely explain, her voice then changes back to her usual voice.
“——and that is all, please to meet you.”
“It’s okay, I’m the one who should be saying that.”
When Aizawa was hanging up the phone, and ticking the name on the list that’s on his hand, he suddenly thought of something.
(What is it’s not for memento——)
Present Mic’s smug voice reached to Aizawa as he was thinking that thought.
“If it was me, I’ll seize the TV station!! Sending my voice as a signal to all the people’s ears on their evening time! And during that time when they’re unconscious, I’ll steal all the jewels and women’s heart~! How’s is it, just like a pro right?”
“Why do want to be a jewel thief, it’s not a comic, and the jewel store’s security is pretty strong wouldn’t it?”
“Under the attack of my voice, even if it’s reinforced glass can break you know? It’ll shatter!” (earrape)
“Sigh, that’s not important, you guys want to hear my bad idea? If you wanna hear it, kneel down and lick my shoe!” (i already felt uncomfortable typing it down, but they seem to be used to it)
“No need, thanks.”
Midnight is showing a coquettish smile, Cementoss then uses a flat answer just his body to answer.
“Cementoss, don’t be so stiff. All right, I’ll make this as an exception and tell you guys! Precisely, I’ll make everyone fall asleep first, then I’ll take that chance to use their weakness to threaten them.” (happy new year to the people that’s at my time zone, cause the fireworks just got launched) (it was already over cause i’m hecking late)
“That’s pretty despicable.”
“Even though it’s not eye- catching, but it feels like the authentic ones are pretty bad too.”
Thirteen shaking his head with antipathy.
“But, what will you do if you can’t find any weakness?”
“If it’s under that kind of condition then....... just make one up is fine! I’ll do something to them while they’re sleeping.”
Hearing Cementoss’s doubt, Midnight then shamelessly throws amorous glances.
“That’s a pretty careless plan.”
“It’s so realistic that it’s scary!”
“Vicious and sexy...... just like a bitch.” (I made this up cause I couldn’t really translate the word)
Looking at the time that Aizawa’s busy calling, the teachers’ conversation turned into a boasting about their quirks to do bad things.
(What the hell are they doing......)
Specially retort is pretty idiotic, Aizawa decides to call finish the rest of the calls. He first uses his eyedrop on his dry eyes, gather back his thoughts and takes up the receiver again.
And yet the heroes doesn’t know his thoughts, as they keep chatting on.
“But, why do you guys feel so happy when you’re talking about bad stuff? I feel like I’ve done something that I shouldn’t have, I feel painful deep inside my body.
“Human’s vile spawn.”
“Can’t do, we’re heroes you know!”
“Thirteen, don’t think about it, it’s just a conversation after all! It’s just a delusion of 100% fresh orange juice!”
“Present Mic pats Thirteen’s shoulder with a frivolous tone, Cementoss at his side was a bit curious and opened his mouth:
“Now that we think about it, we wanted to be heroes since we were young, and that’s pretty upright, hard to say that we naturally suppressed ourselves inside, warning ourselves to never do bad things.”
“Unsatisfied wishes is the perfect spices for achieving happiness, but accumulating too much is a no no! Letting yourself breathe out once for a while is needed. If you want, I can help you to relax. It’s really easy? Just throw away that heavy burden that is your self- esteem, and become my slave!”
“No need.”
Cementoss indifferently continues to smile.
“People like us thinking how to do bad things, doesn’t really count as a bad thing, it helps us to know villain’s thoughts.
“That makes sense.”
Present Mic suddenly says “Oh yeah!” Then say:
“If we’re talking about letting ourselves to breathe, you guys used your quirks to do pranks before right? Most people do that alright!”
“I never did any pranks.”
Thirteen shakes his head.
(That’s not possible right?)
The conversation slips in by accident, and it made Aizawa thinks, while still calling. At that time, Present Mic yells in surprise:
“That can’t be!! You go as far as be methodical since you were born! That’s just the embodiment of buddha!” (the original meaning of the word is theory of the original goodness of human nature, but i don’t know how to put it in)
(I surprisingly had the same thought as that guy......)
“......Ah, sorry, so that day——”
Even though Aizawa is having a straight face, he still uses the same tone as usual to continue explaining.
“Then did Present Mic- sensei did any pranks before?”
As Thirteen asked, Present Mic slightly thought for a while, then pridefully answers:
“When it was recess time, I did a rap contest beside my sleepy friend’s ear or something like that!” (earrape x2)
“Suddenly woke up Present Mic’s voice, feels like it’s not good for the heart.”
“And while that guy is sleeping, I’ll use 100% effect of a live and send over a hundred songs non- stop something like that!” (earrape x3)
“Being your friend sure is pitiful~”
“That guy must be me right.”
Hearing those past events that couldn’t slip through, Aizawa can’t help but put down the receiver, and dejectedly speaks in a low voice.
“Oh——yeah, MY FRIEND! Sorry sorry, just flushed those past events down to the drain!”
“Are the things you did were shit?” (the original one didn’t sound mean enough, so i added a bit of flavor text)
Aizawa was thinking that if it’s like that, then just let the memories go down the drain as well. He ignores his class, ate who’s having sympathy in his eyes, his voice sounded not caring at all again, as he continues to contact the students’ parents.
“......Hello, Miss Midoriya, pardon me. The signal was cut off a bit...... as I was saying......”
Present Mic who is faster than Aizawa to flush down his faults down continues to say:
“Oh yeah, did Midnight ever did some pranks before? It’s not possible for you to do 18+ stuff since back then right!?
“If it’s obscene stories then there’s no need.”
“Don’t be so mean, I’m was a cute little girl back then! But, if we’re talking about pranks, when me and my first boyfriend played house together, we played a doctor’s game”
“Ooh, using the examine tool to hear different places like that!?”
Seeing that Present Mic obviously got hooked by it and got exited, Midnight gave him a coquettish smile.
“Feel free to imagine! However, the doctor’s play got more realistic, it turn into a surgery play afterwards.......”
“Eh? Where did you did that surgery......?”
The expressive male heroes turned more stiff.
“Uhhehe, I’ll let everybody Imagine. It. By. Yourself. Maybe because of the surgery? That guy really hate girls after that, and walks down another path......” (oof, press f for that guy)
“What did you do to there!? What the heck did you do!”
Present Mic yells as he guards the thing that’s between his legs. As Midnight flashes back to the distant memory, she chuckles a bit, as she smiles.“Maybe the stimulation was a bit too much......”
“Don’t you show such a happy face while thinking back that memory! Thirteen also feels the same way right!?”
“......this doesn’t even relate to quirks, that’s just purely a prank right?”
“Oh my, it seems so! Don’t need to linger on me, tell me what kind of pranks you guys did before! Ectoplasm did too right?”
Being asked by Midnight like that, Ectoplasm opens his mouth to answer:
“I never used my quirk to do pranks...... but I just regret that one thing I did in my whole life......”
The heroes were all attracted by Ectoplasm’s extremely heavy atmosphere.“A confession on sins!? This makes it even more exciting——! If you want, I can diligently help you to censor it!”
“The celibacy Ectoplasm did something wrong, It’s hard to imagine!” (celibacy’s meaning is state of living unmarried, especially for religious reasons)
“That’s right, I want to hear it!”
“.......”
Ectoplasm uses his own rights to keep silent about it.
“Hey hey, you said it yourself, you can’t do that! Don’t just leave the audience be! HOLD ON ME!”
“I hope you guys can forget about it.”
Seeing as the teachers won’t let him off the hook that easily, Ectoplasm can’t help but regrets slipping those words out. Cementoss said to Ectoplasm  who is full of regrets:
“Don’t need to force yourself, but saying things out sometimes, maybe you’ll feel better? As teachers, we just want to help you.
”Seeing Cementoss’s small eyes full of concern, Ectoplasm was moved by it.
“——that happened when I was in elementary school.”
As Ectoplasm was talking about his past, Present Mic and the the others’ eyes began to light up, holding their breathe in excitement.
(Never thought it was that easy that easy to make him talk about it......)
“......Ah, hello, is this Mineta’s residence? I’m Minoru- san’s teacher Aizawa...... yes, thank you for your care. I’m calling today is to tell you about parents day——”
Aizawa disses them during the space between two calls, as he makes sure to finish his job. Ectoplasm completely doesn’t know that Aizawa was dissing him internally, as he opens that seems to be tight, but dishonest mouth to say:
“One morning, my body was constantly on my bedding for a long time, as time moves fast as light......”
“Eh? What does that mean?”
Cementoss answers the confused Present Mic:“He seems to be talking about being overslept.”
“I felt despair. But I haven’t gave up, I ran at full speed to the school...... However, the bell ruthlessly rings in front of me, I then used my clone to appear at the classroom......”
“...... So you’re saying, you used your clone to go to school because you were late right?”“Aah, even though it was for the perfect attendance award, but, but I feel like my sins are too deep......”
Ectoplasm’s confession made the heroes look at each other, as they disappointingly let out their sighs.
“That’s just disappointing! You go as far as to exploit that, isn’t that just shameless! And it’s the perfect attendance award too!”
“Because you said this was sin, it made me imagine things that are a lot more worse. Like a life and death situation, some emotional ties mingling love and hate or something like that.”
“It’s because everybody was having their own expectations, I only narrated the truth.”
Maybe because it was everybody’s reaction affected their mood, Ectoplasm seems slightly snubbed and sips his tea. Hearing Ectoplasm’s story, Thirteen seems to be thinking back something and say:
“If it’s this kind of story, I did it before too. Even though it’s a bit embarrassing, but I once used my black hole to suck up my wet futon, to get rid of evidence .......”
“You sure do know how to use your quirk! I wish to have that kind of power too——!”
“Nah, I still got caught in the end, got scolded a lot afterwards.”
Thirteen shyly scratches his helmet, Cementoss then say to him:“Wetting the bed huh? That’ really makes people smile when they think about it.”
“What about Cementoss? Ever did any pranks before?”
“Me? Let me think...... mostly when I was nearly caught during hide and seek, I made a wall, and did some modifications to it—— I can only say it until here.”
Cementoss’s calm smile made the other heroes stiffen.
“...... are there parts you can’t say.....?”
“Don’t ask, it’s scary! My grandfather once said, the worst persons are usually the most normal ones!!”
“But you wanted me to confess my secret first, and you didn’t truthfully say it, that’s just mean.”
“I want to hear it too. Knowing other’s secrets, that’s just makes me want to expose it.”
Thirteen and Present Mic were so scared that they started to overelaborate, while Ectoplasmm and Midnight got closer to Cementoss.
Cementoss then smiled to the teachers.
“Don’t take it seriously, I’m just joking.”
“......Eh, it’s just a joke~ Don’t scare us~”
“A joke that doesn’t make people laugh, doesn’t count as a joke.”
“Cementoss’s jokes doesn’t seems like it’s good for the heart——!“
“Sorry about that, say hi to your grandfather for me.”
“Ah, you’re holding a grudge!”
“Let it flow, let it flow! And flush it down the drain——!”
(This guy’s drain get’s clogged pretty fast won’t it?)
“—— Well then, that is all. Please to meet you.”
As Aizawa hangs up the phone, he ticks yaoyoruzu’s name on the paper that’s on his hand. As a result, the job of contacting the parents is done.
Maybe it was the fatigue and the accomplishment of the job done, Aizawa let’s out his breathe. The others didn’t even batted an eyelash at him, as they continue their chit- chat.
(But, they sure are pretty talkative, they can talk until there’s no end on this boring kind of subject......)
Aizawa stares at bewilderment at the teachers’ as they discuss.
“However, if we use our quirks together, perhaps we can become a strong villain in a certain degree, wouldn’t it!? We can do whatever bad things whenever , wherever we want!”
At the same time that Present Mic yells loudly, a sound came from a low place.
Well, that is done, took quite some time to actually finish typing it, it’s really interesting to see the heroes old self but it seems pretty enjoyable, but new year is over it seems and school is already starting for me. So there will be no translations until October or November, or just in the holidays I hope, if I have the motivation. Nonetheless, Happy New Year anyway!Check out my art if you guys are interested!
this is part 3.
please tell me if there are any errors, i’ll correct them if i have time

(bnha l/n No.3) Chapter 5: The day of a certain class president Part 1 translation
Iida’s eyes snapped opened at the sound of a bird chirping as the faint light of the early morning hits his ceiling, signalling the start of his day. He looks at his alarm clock buried under his pillow, today he had also woken up 5 minutes before the time he had set.
(... good, time to get up)
Switching off his alarm clock, Iida lightly stretches as he gets up, neatly arranging the disarray of futon and opening up his curtains like he always does, this time accidentally scaring off a small bird which was sat on the railing of his veranda.
“ah, sorry” a little startled, Iida softly apologises as he opens up his window, he was finally getting used to the scenery of yuuei’s morning; a large and wide plot of land. Today was also a very refreshing day.
Taking in a breath of the fresh air, before the temperature rises, he wells up, revitalised.
However, taking things this slow was a no, Iida had to care of his business in the bathroom and shuts the window. Picking up his toothbrush, towel and other amenities he leaves his room. The boy’s bathroom was located on the first floor, it was the place they would all gather to get changed and ready.
“again?...”
However, upon entering the bathroom, his face grimaces at the scene before him, the laundry basket was a mess, tissues were out of their places and someone had also forgotten their toothbrush.
“seriously...”
Iida lets out a sigh and proceeds to fix the laundry basket as well as moving the tissues back to where they were and placing the forgotten toothbrush in a visible area.
It was impossible to put his foot down anywhere with all this stuff scattered about, instead of thinking about how lovely it was for the guys to share a bathroom together like this, Iida was more diligently concerned with sorting out the mess.
(if your living space is a mess, your heart is probably a mess too, can we not be more tidy with the stuff we use...)
No matter how many times he speaks of the irreparable, this was just the start of the dorm life. He washes his face as he thinks of a plan to reform their lifestyle, as he brushes his teeth both Shouji and Kouda comes in.
“Good morning Shouji kun, Kouda kun”
“Today you’re also early class president”
Whether sleeping or awake, Shouji was just the same, behind him was Kouda who was still in a daze of sleep with his head nodding off. These two were also part of the “early group”, they were usual faces he’d meet in the morning.
“That’s right, do you know who this toothbrush belongs to? Someone has forgotten it.”
Both Shouji and Kouda points at the toothbrush and looks at one another.
“...It’s probably Kaminari, the colour looks like something he’d use”
“I see, thank you Shouji kun, good thing I had asked, well then..”
Iida leaves the bathroom and makes his way back to the third floor where a yawning Ojiro carrying his towel could be seen exiting his room, even the fur on his tail had bed hair.
“Good morning Ojiro kun”
“Good morning~~~”
Iida returns to his room, changing into his uniform whilst gently placing his pj’s into his laundry basket. He checks the keys in his window and shuts the curtains, he places the textbooks for todays class in his bag and exits his room.
Before getting into the elevator, Iida stops by Kaminari’s room and knocks on his door.
“Kaminari kun! are you awake? It’s almost time, you should probably get up now!”
After a brief moment, the sound of life could be heard within his room.
“Yes~~~~~~” The door opens, and a Kaminari who just got up looks like he hasn’t gotten up at all.
“Good morning Kaminari kun! Oh yes, did you forget your toothbrush in the bathroom?”
“Ah... ah? ahhhh~~~~ I probably have”
“I have it set on the edge in the bathroom, be careful from now on, well then...”
“uwee~~~~” eyes still half asleep, Kaminari replies with a nod.
Iida returns to the first floor once again and heads to the cafeteria, Lunch rush sensei starts cooking from early in the morning and distributes the food to the dorm, they had a choice between both Japanese and western cuisines. Lunch rush sensei would also do the same for dinner.
As Iida serves himself up the miso soup, Shouji and Kouda, Tokoyami, Yaoyorozu and Jirou arrives also. They greet eachother and then seat in their chosen seats.
“faaaaa~~~ I’m sleepy”
Sat in front of Iida was Jirou and Yaoyorozu who was yawning as a duo.
“What is the matter? Not enough sleep?”
“Mhm... yesterday was a little-”
“yesterday? what had happened yesterday?”
The two was a little taken back by Iida’s response.
“y-yesterday... I was reading a book until late...”
“ah---- and I was listening to music...”
The two awkwardly turn their heads away from Iida, next to them was Tokoyami who could be heard clearing his throat.
“...As expected, Japanese cuisine is most suited for breakfast..”
“...ahhh- that’s right Tokoyami kun, this rice is the best to have in the morning, we should give our thanks to Lunch Rush sense!”
Iida was curious as to why the sudden change in topic but upon looking at the rice before him he could not help but agree.
Iida had finish all his food without leaving a piece behind and thanked them for the meal before heading off.
“Well then, I’ll be off first”
In an instant, he had left the dorm by himself, as he exited his eyes were met with the budding greenery, the blue skies reflecting on the glass, this was their school home. Iida diligently made his way towards the school building, moving into the dorms was pretty good, the distance to school had now been shortened and the time he used to spend walking from his parents home could now be used for other ideas and studying.
As Aizawa sensei used to always say, time was of the essence and that we had to use it wisely.
Within a blink of an eye, Iida had arrived at his class to only grimace once again at the sight within it, most identical to the bathroom he’d seen earlier, the chairs were a mess, scattered all over the place, this had been his concern since they’d entered school.
“when the chairs are a mess, your mannerisms are a mess also, these chairs are school property we should handle them with more care”
The one with the most beat up chair was Bakugou.
“Honestly....”
Iida went on to arrange the chairs back into their original places like he had always done, and then bringing out a dustpan and brush from the cleaning cupboard.
Now then, let’s beginnn the cleaning! Everyone would also learn alot better within a clean environment, wringing out a wash cloth he wipes down the teachers podium too, because the teacher also puts their efforts and feelings into delivering their lessons.
Looking on at the now cleaner classroom, Iida gives a satisfied smile.
(today will also be a worthwhile day)
In the quiet classroom on his own, he starts to study by himself, during the night he would sleep, it was more efficient for the body and brain to study in the morning.
Iida suddenly checks his watch, home room was about to begin in 3 minutes.
“everyone, they’re late...”
Even though they’d usually be here by now, no one had turned up.
A worried Iida shifts his head slightly, in the morning when he’d bumped into everyone he was sure they were fine enough to come to class.
Time was ticking by the second, Iida worriedly ponders about what he should do, he grew impatient when suddenly the footsteps of a crowd of people could be heard from far away.
“everyone!”
The class A that Iida had saved, stampeded into the classroom.
“y-you’ve made it..”
“ch... having to dash here with all our strength, that was tough~~~” said Kaminari and Ashido as they were gasping for breath.
“What were you doing? home room is about to start any moment now!” asked Iida with his arms crossed, everyone stopped in their tracks, awkwardly answering back with um’s and ah’s..
“That- that’s because..” Ochako appeared infront of Iida.
“..... G had appeared”
“G is....”
“The little dark thing that appears in the kitchen quite often...”
“Ah! Cockroach!”
“The one whose name that grosses out everyone had come to visit, everyone was trying to get rid of it”
With the face just like sniper, she didn’t look like the bright Uraraka that her name suggested, Iida motionlessly stared at Ochako, and grips her shoulder tightly.
“I apologise for not being there to help! everyone must have been in such a state!”
Relieved at Iida’s response, everyone began shuffling to their seats, Iida could hear the tired of greetings of Izuku and Todoroki.
“Good morning Iida Kun”
“yo”
“Good morning Midoriya kun, Todoroki kun, you’re already this tired in the morning.”
“uh... no, that’s not it... uh... Todoroki kun!”
“.... not really”
With that being said, they both moved to their seats while Iida watches them and notices a slight awkwardness in them. Realising their un-ease, he readies him self in the heart and turns around to only be faced with Ochako and her hair.
“Uraraka kun, you have bed hair!”
“Heh? really?! it was pretty late yesterday....” replied Ochako as she ruffles out and tries to fix her hair with her hand.
“mhn?” Iida was now intrigued, that’s right both Yaoyorozu and Jirou did say they had a late night also.
“What did you do?”
“That’s...” Taken a back, Ochako quickly covers her mouth with her hand.
“Uraraka kun?”
“....... Nothing! it was nothing, nothing happened I just went to sleep!”
At the same moment, the bell had rang and the door opened, Aizawa had finally arrived. In an instant everyone was in their seat with their postures straightened.
Although Iida had many concerns, he’d have to postpone these issues until later, when home room ends, first period will begin, when the class starts one must provide the utmost concentration during lesson.
hey everyone, I just want to say that this may be the only chapter i’d be able to translate as I will be moving to jp next week! I’d like to finish this before I go, but I don’t know if I can? the interval between updates may be a lot longer than usual? so I’m really sorry about this, um, however I have come across some other translators who are doing a good job at translating the novel and is very happy to see that more people are taking on his self-project! and, uh, yeah thank very much to all of those who have been reading my early translations work!

BNHA Light Novel Vol.1 Ch.1 translation
This is the Chapter 1 translation for the first “boku no hero academia” light novel! I actually felt a weight, like sorrow sinking from my head to my toes, when I was translating part of the beginning and also Todoroki and his mom’s conversation. Hope those without access to the book will enjoy this as that is why I spent time typing it up! XD the novel is truly quite fun to read
I will be posting my thoughts on it later but for now, please click ‘Keep reading’ below for my translation :)
At the time when spring turned to summer on a beautiful day, the students who finished the internship were preparing for the final exams. “Next, Midoriya Izuku.” In the empty streets, a soft sound drifted. Aizawa with his tired eyes, looked at the students on the third floor of the large building. “Here!” The student who got called, Midoriya Izuku, had an anxious expression on his face when he answered. His hair was curly and he looked very plain, but the freckles on his face make him give off a positive feeling. “Deku-kun, do your best!” Uraraka Ochako said in a cheerful tone. She was waiting behind him as she is going to go on stage soon. Her joyful voice made his cheeks turn red as he turned around to answer “okay!”. Izuku entered the bag-like tunnel that connects with the ground floor.  The tunnel had a lot of twists and turns and this was usually used during rescue missions. Using a strategy similar to sliding on a slide, it allows people to slide from the top to the bottom with ease. This is UA highschool! Right now, Class 1 A is learning about the basics of how to be a hero. This highschool has a lot of amazing facilities like the training facility they are in and this place is able to sustain many people (several ten thousands). There is also a USJ which has areas that imitate places with natural disasters; they still have the memories of how villains trespassed and attacked them in USJ last time. Right now before them is a deserted street that is also part of the UA training areas. Quirks arose long along; since then, people started using their quirks for good and they were known as heroes. However, many also used them for evil. Thus, heroes became an important part of society that serves the public. Until now, not everyone can become heroes, only those who pass tests and get the license can call themselves that. It is illegal to use quirks in public without authorization. If one were to consider becoming a hero, one must enter a hero school like UA. Getting into UA is extremely difficult. Izuku has no quirk, and nowadays, that is called “quirkless”. Heroes must have a quirk as it is not feasible to be without one. Commonly speaking, age 4 is the latest in which one’s quirk will manifest.
After age 4, Izuku could not help but to accept reality. His dream of becoming the world’s best hero like All Might floated away further and further until it was so far that he can’t even reach it anymore. But he did not give up. No matter if others laughed at him or looked down at him and say how he has no quirk and can’t become a hero, he did not give up his goal. Maybe it’s because God or whoever out there heard his plea and wishes and so Izuku met All Might. All Might saw his potential and after training him, transferred “One For All” to him. In the beginning, Izuku couldn’t do what he wanted with the quirk and had no control, always wrecking his own body. However, both All Might and Gran Torino mentored him and gradually he was able to control it better. “HEEEUUUU” After a short time, Izuku slid out the tunnel, safely landing on the ground. “Okay the boys are all done. Now it’s the girls turn! Yaoyorozu, go.” “Yes!” The Vice President Yaoyorozu replied and slid to the ground through the tunnel. After Yaoyorozu landed on the ground, the small, grape-headed boy named Mineta let out a huge breath. “What’s wrong Mineta?” Izuku asked and Mineta let out another breath. “Midoriya, since we are on the topic of the girls sliding down, the thing that we should be looking forward to is seeing their skirts flip up right? Why is she wearing gym clothes….even though I should have known! This attire is not sexy at all, not even a little bit!” “You have no changed your bad habit one bit, Mineta.” After Yaoyorozu slid down, it was Tsuyu who could not help but comment as well. “Yeah, Mineta. If all the girls’ skirts flipped up then how do we continue lessons? Wearing gym attires make more sense. Wait actually, in order to stimulate a real situation, the girls should be wearing skirts actually!” Iida, wearing the normal uniform, came out with a serious expression said. “No I think you are thinking too much.” Izuku couldn’t help but laugh at Iida. “Stop laughing stupid Deku!” “Ah…Kacchan…” Standing near them was Izuku’s childhood friend Bakugou Katsuki. He’s always spewing out swear words and rude comments to others but has already toned it down…well compared to his childhood that is. “Stupid exercise! Die!” “What are you saying?! As a hero, rescuing others is the first thing so this is very important! This is a very meaningful exercise, isn’t it?!” “Whocares! Everyone has crap they’re good at! I can be the one who takes care of the villain while others do the rescue!!!” “Do you truly want to become a hero?!” Iida has a very strong sense of justice and so as he argued with Bakugou who has a self-esteem several times higher than everyone else, the two is like water and oil, cannot be mixed. Deku stood between the two. “Iida-kun please calm down!” “Yes, you’re right. Everyone has their own strong points.” The person who said this was the student with a cold expression and a scar caused by a burn, Todoroki Shouto. “Todoroki-kun?” “I cannot imagine Bakugou rescuing anyone.” “….WHAT DID YOU SAY?!?! BASTARD?!?!?!” “Ah, I understand! I feel like he would end up injuring people instead!” Kaminari spoke up and Bakugou was so angry he shouted at Kaminari with, “YEAH LETS SEE ABOUT THAT, I’LL HURT YOU FIRST!!!!” Bakugou’s palms started to have explosions within them. The girls who just all landed on the ground did not know what was going on in front of them and just stared with wide eyes. The groups of boys crowded around; some tried to stop the fight, some looked annoyed and once the fighting got to its peak, a voice came. “….Do you guys know what time it is?” It was Aizawa. Upon hearing his stern voice, the students quickly stood properly, poised and quiet. Up until this point, the students recognized how scary their teacher can be. Aizawa’s quirk activated for a second, revealing his red eyes. Aizawa’s quirk erases other people’s quirks, but because he hates the media knowing well how the media can interfere with his hero work, he would always keep himself hidden. “I heard you guys saying how everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, but this excuse during when people need rescuing is not valid. In order to become a great hero, you must do your best for any tasks at hand!” Aizawa turned his head to look at every one of them and continued on. “When the rescue crew and the police arrives late, leading civilians out to the escape route is also a hero’s job!” “If we are to lead them out, isn’t it faster to just rescue them ourselves?” As Hagakure was asking this question, all you can see is her gym suit wrinkling. It looked like she was waving and raising her hand. Hagakure’s quirk makes her invisible so her gym clothes look like they are floating in midair. “But if there are a lot of people, then you can only lead them out.” Yaoyorozu said logically and Aizawa nodded his head. “Exactly. If there were only one or two people, then rescuing them is easy. But if there were a lot then it will get problematic when using rescue equipment. Also, if you don’t know how to use the equipment at the time of need, then it’d be over. That is the main reason why the school prepares these lessons so you’ll have practice on each and every rescue equipment. Do you hear this, Bakugou?” “……..I understand.” Bakugou answered in a low voice. This is Bakugou’s way of getting along with others, using a lower voice to talk. Izuku stood near Bakugou and started mumbling analysis like he usually did. “Right, when letting  lot of people out, we need to use the appropriate quirk with the appropriate equipment……I wonder how that will be? Uraraka can make thing float, or Sero who can use his tape, and Mineta can use his sticky balls…..mmm yes that should be useful. There are lot of combinations…..!!” Izuku loves to analyze and think of strategies as he wants to become a hero so much. Every time he begins his rambling, everyone would get scared because of how fast he talks, like a tongue twister. Everyone already accept this though and would watch him with warm eyes, with the exception of Bakugou. “Then, after….” At this moment, a loud sound was heard above them, covering Aizawa’s voice. Everyone was shocked and looked up to see a helicopter coming down. From the aircraft, someone large came jumping down. “From the helicopter………I AM HERE!” “ALL MIGHT?!?!?!” All Might looked muscular as always with his powerful demeanor. The two horn-like hair spiked up from his head and was wavering in the wind caused by the aircraft. He showed his bright, white teeth as he grinned. “Everyone, I’m sorry I am late! I had to chase down a villain and so I just came!” “Uh yeah, this lesson was supposed to be your responsibility,” Aizawa said in an irritated tone. In contrast, All Might was beaming. “It’s already on the internet!!! During lunch I saw that you captured the bank robbers, right?!” “Yes, looks like the other case hasn’t been broadcasted yet.” “….AS EXPECTED OF ALL MIGHT!” Izuku admires All Might and so he looked super happy and excited. All Might has the aura to suppress evil. He is the “Symbol of Peace”. He has a student and mentor relationship with Izuku and only a few knows this secret. All Might can also only transform to his hero form for a short period of time now, which, also, only a few knows. “Midoriya my boy, thank you for your compliments, but we now must move onto the helicopter.” “Isn’t the helicopter just for bringing you here?” “No, our next exercise will be involve the helicopter, are you ready?” “wow, such is expected of a hero class….” Because Izuku was so stunned by All Might, he was standing here dumbfounded. Such is Ua! ~~ After learning how to rescue people on the snowy mountain and from the water, the students all returned to their classroom. “Right before this, when I was diving at the sea, it was the girls who helped me do CPR…..its like a deep kiss….can’t help but stop myself from breathing on purpose!” “But weren’t you ACTUALLY not breathing?” Hearing Kaminari and Mineta’s conversation nearby, Tokoyami muttered “What an annoying duo”. Tokoyami was someone who looked like a bird and had the quirk ‘Dark Shadow’, which is like a creature living in his body. At that moment, Aizawa entered the classroom and everyone sat properly at their own desks. “Good work. Even though this is sudden, in two weeks we will have a day for parents to visit the school.” After Aizawa said that, someone shouted, “What, even UA has parent-teacher days?!” It was Kirishima Eijirou. He is a very manly student who has the ‘hardening’ quirk. Aizawa handed out the notice, “Okay these need to be returned to me. Next, I need everyone to write a ‘thank you’ letter to your parents. You must put your feeling of thanks into it. After you’re done writing, you can hand it in to me.” Their homeroom teacher’s announcement caused a silence over the students, though someone quickly let out a loud laugh. “NO WAY, WE AREN’T ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS!” Kaminari shouted out, speaking for the rest of the students, but Aizawa cut him off. “Do I look like I am joking?” Aizawa was indeed scary and again the class fell to a silence. “When you write it, make sure to fully express how grateful you are to them and for your parents’ daily care.” Now that the students know their teacher wasn’t joking, everyone started to talk to each other, looking a little worried. “What, no way!!!! This must be a joke!!!” “Ugh so embarrassing….” As the bustle continued, Iida stood up and did his habit of chopping his hands in the air. “Everyone please quiet down. QUIET, QUIET, QUIET!!!” “Wow, Iida is so loud.” Tsuyu, who was sitting in front of Iida, was the one who said that and so Iida sat back down and mumbled a “sorry”. Iida, however, continued on, “Aizawa-sensei, everyone’s reaction is to be expected. The parent visiting day should be for them to see how our usual classes are normally right? Suddenly telling us we need to write and say out our thanks, I don’t understand the point of it. Letting our parents observe the specialty of a hero course, that should be the main point of the day, isn’t it?” Iida was breathing very heavily as Aizawa answered back, “Well, because it is a hero course, that is why we need to do this.” “What does that mean….” “Your goal is to become a hero. Think about it, you would usually hear those who got rescued express their thanks to those who rescued them. It is because of that, you should see it from another point of view and understand the importance of giving thanks.” “Oh is that so! I understand now! This is for us to understand how to be humble as a hero!” “Iida got convinced quite fast!” Uraraka sat behind Iida and she gave a laugh. Seeing Iida’s immediate change in expression, everyone lightened up and the whole atmosphere of the room changed to a positive one. Everyone now accepted their teacher’s request. In this class where anything can happen, one cannot let small things like these bother them. “I am planning to let you guys bring your parents over to see the facilities in the school, and let them take a look at how a stimulated lesson looks like before we let them see the letters.” After Aizawa explained that, Kaminari again shouted out something that everyone else in the class was thinking, “Why don’t you say THAT was actually the main point of the parent-teacher day?!” ~~ “Parent visiting day….and letter of thanks…what should I do?” Izuku mumbled in frustration. “All you CAN do is to write it obediently,” Todoroki replied next to him. Walking nearby was Iida. The President began to voice his opinion, “In the beginning, I was not comfortable with the idea either and was questioning why we needed to do it but now I feel that it is a very good idea. Even if we always care for our family members, it is not common for us to say our feelings out loud. Speaking of which, is there a limit to how many pages we can write for the letter? If the maximum number of pages allowed is very few then it will be very difficult for me to write it. I will have to think about how to shorten it.” The threesome were wearing their school uniforms on the way back home. From a bystander’s point of view, they may look like normal highschool students but in fact they were the ones who stopped Stain the hero killer. The three were not official heroes so if they were to use their quirks to fight against the villains, even if it were Stain the Hero Killer who killed many heroes, it would be illegal. The reason is that using their quirks without passing the license test could potentially mean that they could hurt civilians. The regulation people do not want to hurt those that could become heroes in the future so this rule was made. Iida was set on avenging his beloved hero older brother and his two friends Izuku and Todoroki came to save him. Fighting together helped them form a strong bond. “Iida-kun is so impressive being able to write so much. I don’t even know what to write. I used to send a lot of messages to pro heroes on the internet but I have never written a letter in real life.” “Really? I would write thank you letters (Iida means thank you letters that are meant to be returned after receiving a gift) sometimes.” “Thank you letters?!” “Occasionally, the people I help on the road like old grannies, would send me gifts and so I would write them a ‘thank you’ letter for the gift. My mom and dad told me that after receiving a gift, I must return a letter of thanks of my own.” Hearing how Iida can say that like it is nothing special, Izuku could only reply, “As expected of a family of hero ancestry!”. Izuku is so impressed by Iida! “Really? I think it is very normal,”  Iida says but felt embarrassed after seeing Izuku’s reaction. Iida turned around to try and get Todoroki to agree with him but Todoroki did not seem to feel the same. “No, that’s not normal. I have never written one,” was Todoroki’s deadpan reply. That caused Iida to again feel embarrassed, “Oh..really….” Seeing Iida’s discouraged face, Izuku instinctively started rambling again to lift Iida’s spirits, “W-well! Writing letters is a good thing! Now every time after I meet such situations I will write letters! It will help! Writing letters can really help me express my thoughts! Yes…yes…like last time when…” Izuku rambles on and hearing this Iida felt better. All of a sudden, Iida raised both of his hands up to the sky and shouted, “OH!!” “What is it Iida-kun?” “I’m so stupid, I totally forgot about this!” In his backpack, Iida took an envelope out. “What is that?” “Native-san gifted it to us! Tickets to the amusement park!” “Who?” “The pro hero that was with us when we were fighting Stain! Although, I wonder, why is he giving us tickets for the park?” “I think it is a thank you gift from him.” Iida took it out and there were 4 tickets. “Why four tickets then?” “He’s probably thinking how most rides have seats in pairs so that is why he gave us four?” Izuku’s answer was agreed upon by Todoroki who nodded his head and replied, “Ah, I see.” “Since Native-san is so nice to us, we should ask one more person to join us.” Hearing Iida’s response, Izuku became super energetic, “YEAH!” “Sure, doesn’t matter,” was Todoroki’s response. “But the tickets expire next week. Is next Sunday okay with you guys?” “O…OH! Sorry, I can’t go!” Izuku said, wide eyed. He really wanted to go! “What do you have?” “The Cultural Centre has a ‘Meet the Hero’ event! This time, new heroes are going to be there so I really can’t miss this event! Normally, I don’t have the chance to get data on the new heroes so this is my chance! Not to mention, there will be a special edition photo album with data and details of the new heroes!” Izuku’s expression was etched with anticipation and Iida replied, “Midoriya-kun, you really do love heroes….” “I’m sorry!!” “I can’t on Sunday as well, I need to visit my mother, I’m sorry.” Iida remained calm at his friends’ replies and said, “So, It’s like that. It is quite unfortunate, but it can’t be helped. Wasting these tickets would not be good, I guess I’ll ask the others!” “Let’s go together us three next time! Uh..if only I could go,” Izuku’s previous excitement dwindled away and Todoroki and Iida turned to face him. “What’s wrong,” Iida and Todoroki asked their friend, and Midoriya’s face became red. “I don’t know if I’m the only thinking this way of wanting to go together with you guys.” Todoroki and Iida watched Midoriya, amused. “Midoriya-kun, you have such a strong quirk but actually no one can tell by your usual behaviour!” Iida exclaimed and Todoroki agreed. Midoriya laughed at how surprised Iida looked. “Ah…yeah so on Parent visiting day, who from your family is coming Iida-kun?” “My mother because my dad has to go to work. How about you Midoriya-kun? “Just my mother. How about you Todoroki-kun?” “For me….probably no one from my family is coming,” was Todoroki’s only words and after a second, Izuku became frozen and could only say “Oh.” Izuku forgot about Todoroki’s family situation; knowing this why did he let his tongue slip and ask that question? Todoroki’s dad is the number 2 hero, Endeavor, while All Might was always the number 1 hero. Because of Endeavor’s obsession, he had a quirk marriage with Todoroki’s mom to produce the perfect child. From all of Todoroki’s siblings, Todoroki was the only one who was powerful and born with the best combination of quirks. Since young, Todoroki’s dad would train him with very extreme measures, hoping he would take over All Might as the number 1 hero. His mother tried to plea for Todoroki but his dad did not care. After all the torture that his mother had to go through, she poured boiling water onto Todoroki and burned his face, leaving a horrible scar. His mother was then sent to the hospital and after, Todoroki hated his father even more. “That….I’m sorry.” “So your mother lives in the hospital…..sorry.” Iida and Midoriya both felt bad and gave Todoroki their sincere apologies. Todoroki did not care however and answered, “Its fine. I don’t mind. Frankly, it isn’t something that you two need to apologize for.” “But not being able to see your child’s face in class and in the school exercises, your mom and dad must feel regret!” Iida added, continuously nodding his head. “…………..” Todoroki had no reaction hearing Iida’s comment and stuck his hands in his pockets. Inside was his notice from class earlier. “It’s not that bad. If ‘that old man’ came to see, then I’d actually feel uncomfortable.” “’That old man’? Are you talking about your dad? You can’t use ‘that old man’ as his title! That is disrespectful, you must at least call him your father.” “That kind of shitty father, saying ‘that old man’ is good enough for him!” “If you don’t want to call him father then how about ‘papa’?” “….pa…” “Or dad?” “…da….” Thinking about these different ways of calling his crappy father, Todoroki’s expression became more and more dark. Almost instantly, Izuku interrupted the two to stop their conversation. “Ah, of course!” Midoriya tried to salvage the situation, “Some families have different ways of calling their mom and dads, or maybe they would use their names directly!” “But calling them with their names would sound like a normal friend? The feeling of respect would become shallow I think.“ “You want me to call him properly? …..that’s something I can’t do.” Izuku stood there thinking of ways to revert the conversation topic back to normal, and ended up saying “Everyone can have their opinions on what to call others.” The three turned around the corner, but just as they did so, Todoroki suddenly halted. “Todoroki?” “I suddenly thought of something I have to do.” Seeing how Todoroki said his words, eyes unfocused, Izuku said, “Then, why don’t we split here. See you tomorrow!” “K.” ~~~ After separating from those two, Todoroki arrived at his mom’s hospital which had white and red columns. The visiting hours for the hospital was almost over but there were still a lot of people waiting at the lobby. Noticing that, Todoroki decided to take the elevator in a hurry to go up to the patient rooms. His eyes followed the lights on the elevator that graduating rose up and realized how nervous he actually was. He was anxious even though he knew he came up here many times already. This did not compare to the first time, however, when he was so rattled that his hands shook when reaching for the doorknob. As he strolled down the silent halls, he recognized the bleach smell that filled the air. From Stain’s incident, he went to another hospital and he thought “so, all hospitals have this same smell.” He recalled sleeping in that hospital after the incident with the other two and waking up in the middle of the night, cold sweat dripping down his face, and it was then that he thought about how horrible it was that his mom had to live in such conditions. “Shouto, that’s a surprise that you’re here today,” a voice came over the counter that he just passed. ….a surprise huh. “….hello,” Todoroki replied and he stopped midway. Originally, he wanted to ask the nurse when she said that it was a surprise for him to come today but a bell on the counter just rang and so he was interrupted. Gloving his hands back into his pocket, he could feel the notice from class. He continued walking, and after reliefing a light sigh, he opened the door. “……..mom.” “Shouto?” Sitting at the edge of the bed was his mother. Behind her was a window. She had on such gentle, soft rounded eyes that widened slightly. “Why do you look surprised mother?” “Ah…..it’s nothing. Come. Come sit.” She stood up and pulled a chair up to her son. Todoroki answered with a ‘un’ and sat down. His mother sat in front of him but didn’t move a muscle, eyes gawking at her son as if examining him. “….uh…mom?” Todoroki started feeling uncomfortable and shy now, wondering what his mother’s gaze meant. Quickly, his mom apologized and slowly shifted to sit at the edge. “You don’t have to apologize. I was just wondering if there was something weird on me that’s why you’re looking at me like that.” “No…its just that I don’t get to see you regularly…it feels like you’ve grown.” She started to stare at him again, making him feel awkward and he started to look downwards. A revelation arose. He realized that the nurse used the word “surprise” earlier because on regular school days he wouldn’t come. Today’s an exception. “Sorry for suddenly coming here.” “Don’t need to apologize, whenever you come, your mom will be happy.” Todoroki was happy that she said that. He swore before that he will save his mother from here and release her. Sitting in front of her, he also felt as though he returned to his childhood. “…………..” His fingers brushed against the notice again. Coming here so urgently albeit knowing that his mom wouldn’t be able to participate in the parent-teacher day, Todoroki knew he couldn’t help himself, subconsciously being pushed to come here, legs moving on their own. Should he tell her about that school event, or should he not? Seeing that her son wasn’t talking, Todoroki’s mom broke the silence and said, “That’s right, do you want something to drink?” “Oh…okay.” Todoroki stood up, expecting to buy his own drink outside. “I have prepared drinks, just open the fridge.” Hearing her said that, Todoroki went over to the table nearby and opened the fridge next t it. Inside were some green tea, soda and juice. There was also a yoghurt drink with a child-friendly, cute cow logo. “Shouto, when you were young, you used to love that drink, right? When I saw that in the store last time, I couldn’t help but to buy it.” Todoroki pursed his lips and didn’t mutter a word, brain totally blank. He had some memories of this drink but he knew he tried to forget about such memories long ago. Todoroki’s mom began to giggle a little seeing her son’s expression, “Ah…mother forgot that you are already a high school student….so I bought other drinks for you to choose. I wasn’t sure if you still like this yoghurt drink after so long……..” Inside Todoroki’s heart, a rush of happiness and warmth came. So his mom cared about him and thought about all this for him. “….then I will take this one.” He took the yoghurt drink and his mom cheerfully replied, “oh is that so.” The yoghurt drink didn’t have much of a taste, in fact, it was quite mild, but it was full of nostalgia. After he finished the drink, Todoroki playfully thumbed the drink and threw it away in the trashcan. The time they spent together from his childhood, those feelings will not suddenly rush out. Yet, the feeling and care they have for each other is something still kept within him after all this time. Because she was not there as he grew up, they can still feel the awkward atmosphere between them. Like always, his mother’s comfortable and gentle voice can still break that solemn feeling. “So how is school?” “mmm…” At that moment, Todoroki let out a sigh. He couldn’t think of anything else but the notice and again he felt unsettled. But if he were to let her know about it, it should be now! He still can’t say it though he kept repeating that inside. Todoroki’s mom waited for a long time for his response but none came. Her expression started to change to concern. Todoroki quickly said something so she won’t worry anymore. “Today in class we learned how to use a resuscitation device and we also went up the air in a helicopter.” “Wow, helicopter? Using such things!” Todoroki felt good noticing how surprised his mom was and continued, “Because heroes need to rescue people too. It’s part of their jobs.” “Yes that’s right.” “After, we learned how to use a rescue slide that goes from a higher place to the ground.” “uh huh…” “And then we learned how to use code to contact each other, that sort of a thing.” “Oh is that so.” “And….” Todoroki started to go on and on in a low voice. His mom kept watching him, a small smile slowly gracing her lips. “All Might also came, he helped teach the class.” “I remember back then when you were young, you loved All Might, right? But your father never allowed us to watch it so I secretly recorded it and we watched it together, remember that?” “mm.” For some reason, Todoroki knew he wanted to be a hero like All Might since young but without realizing it, Todoroki had kept that so deep within his heart and slowly he wiped that feeling away completely without a speck. While on this topic, Todoroki thought about Midoriya’s messed up hands, twisting unnaturally with lots of blood. “….there’s this guys named Midoriya.” “Ok.” When he first entered the school, he didn’t notice Midoriya, but during the villain invasion, he saw how he and All Might released super human strength. Todoroki saw how All Might would care about Midoriya and so during the sports festival, he wanted to fight Midoriya. Todoroki had always wanted to fight with only the side that his mother gave him, his right side. He saw how his father was super irritated by how Todoroki was still winning without using the left side and so Todoroki thought he had his revenge and won against his father. But when fighting Midoriya, who had so many injuries and still screaming at him about how “this is your power!”… That somehow hit him. Midoriya’s voice. Seeing how Midoriya was totally beat up but still kept fighting and running straight towards him. It was because of how much Midoriya respected and admired All Might, it allowed Todoroki to feel the same way deeply. It was at that moment that Todoroki forgot about everything. Forgot about his dad whom he hated so much. After forgetting everything, he was able to see himself and use the left side. “During the sports festival, I fought Midoriya and he ran towards me even though he was beat up.” “mm.” “…so I used my full power.” “…..mm.” “That was the first time I used my full power.” “…I see.” “Midoriya is strong.” Todoroki’s mom gave a smile, “I see you have made a good friend.” Todoroki nodded slowly, “…un.” “Mother, this is the newly washed clothes…..what? Shouto? Why are you here? How rare.” It was Todoroki’s sister, Fuyumi. Her appearance looks just like their mother’s and had a very joyful aura. “The second time….” “What?” “Nothing.” “Really? Okay, mom I’ll put the clothes in the closet.” “Thanks, I bothered you again.” “What, don’t so formal with me mother!” Fuyumi came in carrying the clothes and placed it into the wardrobe, and while doing that, she asked Todoroki, “Was there something that happened today?” “No.” Todoroki stood up, planning to throw the notice into the trash but as his body lifted, the paper fell out of his pocket. “What? What’s this?” “WAIT!” Fuyumi turned around after she placed the clothes, and picked up the paper to read it. “A notice about parent visiting day…?” “huh….” “…hey don’t just go looking at my things!!” “Oh….” Fuyumi’s face had a smile etched onto it but the irritating feeling that Todoroki felt for half the day suddenly came rushing back, though hearing his mother’s next words did not help. “Shouto…I’m sorry, your mom cannot go.” Seeing how sad his mother looked, Todoroki felt frantic. “No. I just wanted to tell you about it….don’t apologize…” Todoroki now regretted. If he knew earlier that his mom would feel this way he would have not came here. “Sorry…” “Shouto…” Todoroki said his apologies in a mumble and his mother scrunched her brows together in worry. “Ah… you two…” Fuyumi, who accidentally caused all of this, stood between the two to try and fix it. Abruptly, she came with a great idea and cried out, “RIGHT!” Fuyumi’s eyes lit up with energy. “How about I go to the parent visiting day!” “What, don’t you have to teach?” Fuyumi was a elementary school teacher. “Don’t worry, if it is family things, I can tell my work early and get half a day off. So, I will go to the parent visiting day and take a video and show mom! Isn’t this idea great?” Fuyumi was grinning widely making Todoroki speechless. “But this isn’t some elementary school sports day.” “Huh? So no video? Recently, there was a elementary school parent visiting day and all the parents were happily recording videos!” Todoroki wanted to refute by saying, “don’t mix high school with elementary school!” but his mother cut him off. “So…recording the video is not okay?” Todoroki’s mother looked very hopeful at first but now she had a shadow over her expression, Fuyumi noticed this and tried to raise the mood. Todoroki actually really hated videos and didn’t want to have recordings but he knew his mother was anticipating it and eally wanted it so he said, “…I’ll ask the school and see…” This was Todoroki’s way of negotiating. Afterwards, dinner was served and so Todoroki and Fuyumi had to leave. In the halls, Fuyumi began to speak. “Your teacher is Aizawa sensei right?’ “Yes…” “Why do you look so tired? Oh yeah, dad may be able to go….” “You DEFINITELY cannot tell him about this!!!” “Oh? but…’ "You can’t tell him!” Fuyumi watched as Todoroki’s expression became serious as he repeatedly objected her and so she said, “…okay..okay” Waiting for the elevator, Fuyumi could see Todoroki still frowning. “Do you hate videos that much? If you really don’t want to I won’t record anything.” That made Todoroki lift his head. “Yeah I don’t like to be recorded but I’m not thinking about that anymore!” “It’s not that?” “….I’m just thinking, if I didn’t come and tell mom about this, wouldn’t it have been better?” “Oh, so its about that issue!” A corner of Fuyumi’s lips tugged upwards and she reached her hand out to pat on her younger brother’s head. “What are you doing?!” “Listen. No parent would be sad knowing that their kids are working hard for them. Mom may be unable to go and feels like she owed you for it but you coming here to tell her makes her feel happy already. This is your first time telling her about parent visiting day.” Hearing Fuyumi’s explanation, Todoroki realized she was correct. Whether it was towards his mom or his dad, this was still the first time he told them about parent teacher day. “…..you are acting like a teacher.” “Well I am a teacher!!” Fuyumi stroke his head again lightly after hearing him saying it while hiding his shyness. The elevator announced its arrival with a sound and its doors opened. “Shouto are you not coming in? The door’s going to close.” Todoroki went in after his sister’s suggestion and had a thought in his mind. Even if it is quite embarrassing, he will still endure the video taping because that small deed would make his mom happy.

Every day I grow a little more suspicious that bkdk is really happening.
I keep getting this image in my head of myself standing on a stage in front of a bunch of people, holding a microphone but not speaking. I look at everyone incredulously. The crowd is silent too. In the air there is a deep foreboding feeling. This isn’t like that meme from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. This is like walking outside and knowing immediately that it’s going to rain. I want to say so many things, about assumptions, tropes, and countless subtextual details, but nothing comes out except my increasingly pointed stare.
“It’s so misogynistic it looped all the way back around to seeming homoerotic,” someone mutters. They laugh awkwardly.
I turn and lock eyes with the culprit. In a breathy voice, I say,
“What if it’s the other way around.”

Wrap Up Party - Bonus Light Novel Excerpt
This light novel bonus is set after the School Festival, with the premise that Class 1-A is holding a big party in their dorm to celebrate the success of the festival. This excerpt is a fun bit where Midoriya is teaching Todoroki to make All Might origami 💪✨
This is just a fan translation. The “Wrap Up Party” light novel was a bonus in Japan for those who bought the entire season 4 anime blu-rays /DVD box set. This is just a mini excerpt translation for English speaking fans, the full story is 42 pages long! I do not know if this will be officially released outside of Japan as it was not included in any of the print light novels here and is just a purchase bonus.
But this origami bit is very wholesome, so I hope you enjoy!
For reference, here are some origami tutorials if you would like to try the origami mentioned for yourself!
Origami crane - Yakko and Hakama origami - Snapping camera origami
Also here’s a fan made All Might origami!
On to the excerpt ✨
------------------------------------------
Wrap Up Party - Bonus Light Novel Excerpt
While Iida scolded Mineta over the naked apron incident in the kitchen, the stage team was in the common room trying to decorate the party area to make it more fun. Everyone was there except for Hanta Sero who was out on an errand.
Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, and Koji Koda sat at a table folding origami. The walls looked a little empty with just paper ring chains, so they decided to make some origami to put up too.
“...Finished!” said Izuku, looking satisfied at how his first origami turned out.
Todoroki looked up from next to him. “Oh All Might, that’s amazing.”
Izuku had made origami of All Might’s face. The steps to make it were complicated, but he had really wanted to make it as a little kid and had worked hard to memorize it so it turned out perfect even now. Izuku smiled, looking a bit embarrassed at being complimented, and looked at the origami in Todoroki’s hands.
“Todoroki, you’re making… a crane!”
Todoroki was making a basic origami crane. But an old fashioned crane seemed a little strange for a party. Seeing Izuku’s slightly troubled expression, Todoroki showed him another piece of origami.
“Other than a crane I made...” Todoroki began to explain.
“Yakko and hakama origami!”
“My older sister taught me how to do this one a long time ago.”
“I see…”
“U-um, did you know you can make a camera from the hakama origami too?”
Koda had been listening to their conversation and had made hakama origami himself. He folded it so the base caught, and pushed it lightly from the back. The bottom popped free, and it made a snapping sound like a camera shutter.
“Ahh! I remember that. I haven’t seen that in a long time! Koda, you’re making yakko origami too…” Izuku began to say, and then was surprised by the mountain of origami by Koda’s hands.
“You’ve already made that many!? Those are flowers right? You’re good at this!” said Izuku.
“Since it's a party I thought flowers would be nice… I made some animals too…” explained Koda.
Koda seemed embarrassed but he had made origami roses, rabbits, and other flowers and animals. His origami were so delicate and cute, you would never have guessed they were made with his large hands.
“But I think the All Might one is amazing too…” said Koda.
“Yeah,” said Todoroki, nodding. “How did you make that?” he continued, asking Izuku to teach him.
“Um, start by making a triangle and…” began Izuku.
“Hey guys! Check this out!” Eijiro Kirishima suddenly called out to them. He proudly showed them the wall where he had hung the “Big Catch” fishing flag from his room. “It’s a party so I thought we should make it flashy!”
“No one will miss it!”
“It really stands out.”
Izuku was surprised and Todoroki gave his honest opinion. Koda agreed with them both, silently nodding his head.
“I don’t think we have enough twinkle yet ☆”
When the four of them turned around, they were greeted by Aoyama covered in sparkles and fairy lights.
“You’re blinding!!”
They closed their eyes against his sparkle but Aoyama took it as a compliment and happily spun around them.
“Non non! I told you, I’m twinkling, not blinding! ☆”
“As always, Can’t Stop Twinkling!” said Izuku, and Aoyama stopped moving and struck a dramatic pose.
“I’ll be the main star of the decorations today!” said Aoyama.
“You should join the party too man!” replied Kirishima loudly.
“Midoriya, how do you make the All Might origami?” Todoroki asked as if he had suddenly remembered.
“Ah, sorry! We weren’t done yet,” said Izuku, and the two of them sat down at the table again to do origami.
“Start by folding a triangle, then go like this… then fold it like this,” Izuku explained.
“Like this?”
“Yeah, then turn it over and fold this part into a thin triangle…”
Izuku’s instructions started very detailed, but then he started getting more and more focused on the origami.
“This part turns into All Might’s hair so be careful with it. You gotta do this part right or it won’t look cool. You can recognize his hair from just his shadow, so his hair is like the symbol of the Symbol of Peace in a way you know? Next fold this part diagonally, and then do the same on the other side… this is All Might’s face shape. So you have to fold both sides at the same angle. Make sure to fold this part right or his face will look weird. Be careful and bold with your folds to bring out his fearlessness.... Next is the shadow by his eyebrows and eyes, this determines his expression so let’s be careful making this part. If you mess up a fold you can refold it but there will be a wrinkle so it might end up looking like All Might from the Vinegar Riverbank Incident. I think that playful look was good too but let’s pass on that for now. The trick here is to match it above this fold line. Once you get used to this you can make variations like smiley All Might, fighting mode All Might, and others too, it’s fun!”
Izuku returned from his focused muttering mode and turned to Todoroki with a smile. Todoroki had been unable to keep up with the steps part way through and thought for a moment before speaking.
“...For now, please show me how to do it from the beginning, slowly.”
“Ah, sorry, that was too fast wasn’t it! Okay, so start by making a triangle…”
Kirishima had been bewildered by Izuku’s chant-like origami instructions but noticed something watching Todoroki taking his time learning.
“Todoroki, you really wanted to make that All Might origami…” Kirishima mumbled, and decided to work on other unfinished decorations and leave the origami to Izuku and Todoroki. Him and Aoyama used double-sided tape to put up the roses and other origami Koda made on the walls. While using the tape, he was reminded of how Sero wasn’t back yet.
“Sero said he had an errand to run but don’t you think he’s a little late?” questioned Kirishima.
Aoyama replied while holding his fairy lights and staring at the wall. “He said he had a lot to get ready for ☆ But more importantly this place is so boring! I’m going to get the disco ball from my room ☆”
“Nice!! That’ll be flashy!” replied Kirishima.
A short while later, Todoroki finally finished his first All Might.
“I did it.”
“Your first All Might!”
Todoroki looked closely at the finished origami and spoke softly. “...this should be small enough to fit in a letter.”
“Eh?” questioned Izuku.
“Never mind.”
Todoroki’s expression softened as he realized he could fit the origami in a letter to his mother in the hospital as a surprise, and it was then that Sero returned. Seeing the random decorations on the wall, Sero was shocked.
“What’s all this?”
A “Big Catch” fishing flag, flower and animal origami, a disco ball and colorful twinkling lights. The decorations were a mess and there was no overall theme either, Sero wanted to tear his hair out.
“I shouldn’t have left this up to you guys,” said Sero.
“Why, what’s wrong with my flag?”
“As long as it’s twinkling I’m sure it’s fine ☆”
“Sero, there’s All Might origami too!”
“Come on, All Might origami won’t make this any better,” calmly replied Sero, looking at the All Might origami Izuku held out to him.

I mentioned a while back that there was an excerpt from the Boku No Hero Academia Vol. 4 Novel where Kendo is participating in the Beauty Contest and made a commentary about gender roles. Here's the translation of the excerpt from Chapter 4 "Beauty Contest"!
---
Society’s label of what a “woman” should be is too much.
I just want to be “me.” I’m sure men also feel the same way though. Those who also don’t consider themselves a “woman” or a “man” feel the same way too. Who the heck even decided to half-assedly categorize these in the first place?
“It’s because you’re a woman.” “It’s because you’re a man.”
These labels are so annoying.

Bnha light novel volume 2 translations
@peachingboy has already translate a little bit of the after story, the part that i translated is before they went on the bus.
please forgive me if the translations aren’t completely correct because i can only translate it from the official chinese translations and my english skills are not good at all. i will continue to translate if you people want it. and i might be translating the first volume once its here.
this is chapter 2: noisy trip
“Class A’s bus is here, everybody please line up according to your seat numbers!”
Class A’s president——Iida Tenya uses a more louder voice than usual, to reverberate through the entire UA high school’s bus pick up station.
“Luckily today’s a fine weather!”
“Yeah.”
Izuku was adjusting his big bag pack, while talking to the nearest person that is todoroki shouto, todoroki then calmly replied. It’s not that Todoroki doesn’t want to talk to izuku, that’s just his usual personality. (uwu, i love you, you hot and cold boy)
“We really need to thank yaomomo sensei! Thank you for teaching us!”
“Thanks! When the winter exams comes, let’s arrange another study session again.”
“Of course, if i can help, i will surely do!”
Ashido and Kaminari is thanking yaoyorozu for having extra care for them during their study session, Jiro at the side then softly kicked Kaminari.
“Before asking someone else to teach you, how about you study yourself first.”
“Uwah, Jiro, I told you not to kick me so suddenly.”
At a slightly further place, Asui Tsuyu was looking at Uraraka Ochako’s luggage and said to her:
”Oh my, Ochako-chan, you sure packed really less.” (for the -chan, -kun, and -san, i could only guess who uses it base on how their talk to their classmates usually, because the chinese translations doesn’t show it)
“Yup, I want it to be light packed as possible. Tsuyu-chan’s luggage sure is big!”
“Yup, this is the biggest luggage I have in my house. Even i can fit inside there.”
Today is the day of the training camp, if they didn’t pass their final exams, it’s not just that you can’t go to the training camp, you also have to be stuck in summer school......that was what class A’s home room teacher——Aizawa Shota told them to make his students to go all out, that is why it was a lie with a really relevant lie.
The whole class passed the written exams, but the students that didn’t pass the practical exams are Kaminari, Kirishima, Ashido, Sato Rikido and the one who passed the gate but fell asleep due to midnight’s quirk, Sero also considers as a fail. That is why they need to take extra lessons at the same time they need to participate the training camp .It just has a changed location, there’s not a bit of excitement in this hell.
Even if it’s like this, at least the whole class gets to participate a whole week of training camp. Between the students there are students like Ochako, has to live alone due to school. But, most of the students live with parents. Leaving parents, going to training camp with classmates, even if they wanted to be excited, they couldn’t.
Plus, because of the case of Izuku meeting Shigaraki Tomura from the villain league in a shopping mall before the departure date, the school had to changed the training camp’s location different from last year. The students’ inner self also wants a chance to leave their daily life behind, putting away the worries in their hearts.
“Class B’s bus is here, everybody move faster!”
Class B’s president——Kendo Itsuka ordered. Class B’s students then started to board the bus.
The training camp is only for the hero course that is Class A and B to participate. Although during the sports festival, because of Class B’s Monoma Neito and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu’s challenge, made Class A to be competitive as well, but usually they’re different classes, they don’t really have chances to talk to each other. That’s one of the reasons that awkwardness lingers between the two classes.(awkward beans uwu)
“Class B sure also has a women heaven.”
Among the students, there’s someone oddly excited and that is——Mineta Minoru (ugh, i hate him so much). His mouth drooling, breathing heavily while looking at Class B’s girls as they line up to go up the bus. Even if he didn’t take action, it’s like his entire existence is made out of lust, with just his expression it’s enough to arrest him for sexual harassment.
“Mineta-kun! that bus is Class B’s. Quickly follow your seat number and line up!“
Iida said loudly towards Mineta, while he didn’t he saw Mineta’s expression. As his sexual thoughts was interrupted, he pouted as he went back to the gathering place of Class A’s bus.
“Well then, everybody follow your seat number and sit properly on the bus!”
As Ashido heard Iida’s suggestion, she then lets out a “eh~” of disappointment.
“It’s fine to not follow the numbers right~? Why don’t we just simply sit with each other!”
“But if we follow the numbers, everybody will be in their seats faster, don’t you think?”
“But it’s rare for us to go to the training camp, if we follow our usual seats, wouldn’t it be boring~?”
“Ashido-kun, the training camp is the school’s activity. Boring or not it’s not that important.”
“I also want to simply sit!”
As Kaminari agrees, Iida thinks for a while and said:
“Well then, everyone make your choi——“
“Quit babbling, just quickly get on the bus, stop making problems.”
The one standing behind Iida and interrupted him was Aizawa. Under his one command, the entire Class A’s students quickly went on the bus. As they all know, Aizawa hates wasting time.
The seats inside the bus has two columns separated. So there’s 4 seats in total per row, thus this bus has the typical travel bus design.
“Ochako-chan, do you want to sit with me?”
Tsuyu called out to Ochako who is looking around for seats.
“Ok! I’ll sit with you!” (cute)
“I want to sit beside the window!”
“Who’s bag is this! It’s blocking the way!”
“Did anybody said that the back seats are only for the midgets to sit?” (I’m not sure about the word “小混混“ so if anybody knows, tell me)
“——Don’t be picky, just quickly sit down.”
With Aizawa’s low toned command, the chaos inside the bus was settled again.
And that is done, i hope you guys enjoyed it and i hope to make more if you guys are interested. It sure took time, it really hard to translate so i hope you guys can understand.
this is part 1
It seems that i can’t put links in here anymore because it won’t appear in the search, so if you guys want to search for the other parts you have to look in my blog

notice from the school 学校からのお知らせ (final part)
from the first light novel, the todoroki part everyones been waiting for!
having separated from the other two, after some time, Todoroki arrives at a massive white building being dyed by the orange colour of the evening sun. It was the hospital his mother was admitted into. Despite the medical examination time being over, the waiting lobby was still jammed pack with patients. From the side of his eyes, Todoroki glances at the elevator he needed to get on, he tries to hurry to the floor where all the inpatients were staying.
As the elevator ascended, he watches the different floors he passed, only realising their was a slight nervousness in him, even though he’s been there a few times already. Though, you couldn’t really compare it to the first time he’d come, on the day he’d first visited, he also noticed he was nervous, he would open the door, completely oblivious and unsure, he’d watch his own hand tremble, finally realising what he was about to do.
A soft sound accompanied the opening doors of the elevator, the quiet corridor he exited on to couldn’t really be compared to how it was downstairs. There was a light smell of disinfectant and all the patient rooms looked alike. He continues forward, recalling the time he was admitted into hospital after being attacked and wounded by the hero killer. The three of them were admitted into a hospital for a few days. Everyone would fall asleep during the night, but he’d suddenly wake up, sitting in the silent state of the hospital, he would think of his mother, for her to have experience something like this for so long.
“Shouto kun? Isn’t this a rare sight?”
The voice of an acquainted nurse could be heard reaching out to him as he happened to pass by the nursing station.... rare?
“...hello”
As the nurses pager would go off, he thought how many times must he hear this sound as he proceeds towards the patients room. With his hand in his pocket, he fiddles and bends the printout in it. A massive onset of emotions begin to fill him as he arrives at the room, Todoroki heaves out a small breath of air as he opens the door.
“...mum”
“Shouto?”
Sat by the window, Todoroki’s mother turns around. The gridding of the window to her back, she softly smiles and her eyes widen.
“What’s wrong?”
“Ah... oh, it’s nothing, here, have a seat” she answers as she holds out the seat she was sat on to her son.
“Unn” Todoroki replies as he lowers himself down onto the chair, with his mother motionlessly watching him.
“...mum?”
Feeling a little embarrassed he wanted to ask why she was looking at him like that, his mother a little taken back, she apologises and proceeds to down on her bed.
“It’s... nothing, but was there something weird?”
“No, not at all, it’s just been a while since I’ve seen you.. and on a weekday too, I just wanted to look at you properly... I think you’ve gotten bigger”
She narrows her radiant eyes at him, Todoroki embarrassed, he turns his eyes downwards. But now, he realises why the nurses called him a rare sight earlier, it was the first time he had visited during a week day.
“Sorry, for coming so suddenly”
“What are you saying, whenever you visit it makes me happy”
If you was to apologise for something like that, it was understandable for a mother to reply like that. He felt somewhat spoiled, although a little awkward, but there was a sense of happiness within him. Though he had vowed to save her, it almost feels as if he had reverted back to the young boy he was before.
“......”
Todoroki pats down the printout that was inside of his pocket, it was the sole reason for his sudden visit. Even though he knew his mother would probably be unable to attend, his feet just naturally brought him to the hospital anyways. Just letting her know of it would have been okay he thought, but he kept quiet out of worry.
“Oh yes” His mother suddenly remembers something.
“Do you want something to drink?” She asks.
That’s right, after hearing her ask, he suddenly remembers he was actually quite thirsty. Todoroki gets up in in an attempt to go buy something but his mother becomes flustered.
“I already have some! Check the fridge” Just as she said, there was a little fridge located under a desk by her bed, he opens it and inside were some green tea and a selection of fizzy juices. There was also a really cute illustrated cow on a carton of yogurt which was made for children.
“Look Shouto, it’s the Milk san yogurt that you liked so much, I had just gotten it from the shop stand just now”
Todoroki stares blankly, only realising that it was the drink he used to drink as a child, how could have forgotten something like this. Todoroki notices his mother’s grinning face, but could only reciprocate with an embarrassed smile.
“Shouto is already a high school student right... I just realised, I bought a lot but is there something you like?”
On his way to the hospital he thought he’d taken enough time to figure out what he’d wanted to say, but his chest just burned up.
“....This one”
He gently bends down, in the end he ended up choosing the carton yogurt, holding something in his hand he had not held in a very long time. He couldn’t return himself to such a time, what should he have done? He didn’t know and just sat in silence, the period of them parent and child. However, that pain and suffering from then, he couldn’t feel anymore, what if it was a mutual feeling? Due to the help of time, maybe now he’d be able to drop such a burden.
As always, his mother broke the silence.
“....How’s school?”
“unn....”
For the moment Todoroki had forgotten about the print out within his pocket, only to realise it once again he becomes tense. If he was going to ask, he should do it now. As he thought about it, the more conscious he became of the issue, and the more the words were less likely to come out. Watching Todoroki struggle to get his questions out, and not knowing why, his mother’s face becomes worried. Nothing the concern on his mother’s face, Todoroki panics.
“Today we had a lesson on rescue equipment, we were suspended from a helicopter”
“Helicopter? They do that also?”
Todoroki was relieved at the sight of his mother being genuinely surprised and interested, he continues on.
“Saving peoples lives is a heroes job”
“That’s right”
“Also, we got to descend from a building in an escape chute”
“oh”
“We made our own SOS signal”
“Wow”
“And also...”
His mother smiles at him, as he begins to gradually speak up, bit by bit.
“All might was there too, he took part in the lesson”
“Shouto, you really liked All might right?... But do you remember when your father was around we couldn’t watch him so we had to record it all and then watch it in secret?”
“Yeah...”
He was the hero he had looked up to since he was a child, however, before he knew it, within his heart he began to forget that feeling but now he remembers.
Todoroki then recalls a broken hand with scarring and blood.
“.... Midoriya was there too”
“The child from the same class as you?”
“Yeah”
From when he had entered school, he never really had taken notice of him, although he did have this unusual habit and was really timid. During the attack by the villain alliance, he was taken back by the tremendous power and spirit he would shoot off. He ended up realising that All might had started to favour Midoriya too, during the sports festival after declaring war on his fathers pride, the hatred he had for him for hurting his mother, he wanted to win without using his left side in an attempt to shun his father even more, watching his fathers face cloud over, he had thought he’d succeeded.
Even so, looking back at Midoriya with his beat up and injured body, still fighting at full power, while he tried to win with only half of his strength, Midoriya became angry..... it’s your power isn’t it?!
That voice, Midoriya, it was his voice who reached into the depths of his heart, even though he was so beat up, he was still strongly egging him on, which led to the both of them clashing at full strength. The hero he had longed to be, he felt as if he could finally see it once again. That burning sensation he had forgotten a long time ago, in that moment, for the first time nothing mattered, he hatred he held for his father he had forgotten, realising that all this time he had been trapped.
“...At the sports festival, even though he was all beat up and his hands broken, he still carried onwards”
“I see”
“... That’s why with all my strength”
“....un”
“For the first time, I fought with all my strength”
“...that’s right”
“...he’s an amazing guy”
His mother couldn’t help but smile as she watched Todoroki mutter on.
“You made an amazing friend haven’t you”
“......yeah”
Todoroki gives a slight nod, as his mother happily watches him through tearful eyes. Silence began to fall upon them again, but this silence, this time felt very calming.
“Mum.. here’s the laundry.. oh, Shouto? What’s wrong? It’s rare seeing you here”
The door opens, breaking the silence, it was his older sister Fuyumi. She looked just like her mother with her delicate expressions, but the only difference was her bright personality.
“That’s the second time...”
“What is it?”
“Nothing, it’s nothing”
“I see.. well, I’m bringing in your laundry mum”
“Thank you as always”
“So what were you talking about?” Fuyumi asks, trying to get Todoroki to speak, as she proceeds to shelve the folded laundry.
“Did you have something to do?”
“...not really”
As he gets up trying to throw away the yogurt carton he still held in his hand, the print out that was in his pocket had fallen out out.
“Huh? What’s this?”
After finishing with the laundry, Fuyumi bends down and opens up the paper.
“A notice for parents day?”
“Eh......”
“... Don’t just look at it whenever you want”
“Okay.... okay, I get it”
After realising the situation, Fuyumi could be seen smiling vividly, up until the now the time he used trying to conjure up the courage, all that worrying it felt pointless. He unintentionally frowns. Taken back a little by what she had heard, their mother begins to speak.
“Shouto... I’m sorry but mum can’t go..” His mother feeling guilty could only apologise, Todoroki begins to get flustered.
“No.. it’s not like that, I thought I’d just let you know... that’s why, it’s not really an issue”
Todoroki felt a little regretful, for her to end up apologising like that, as expected maybe it would have been better if he hadn’t had tried to tell her... maybe it would have been better if he had not come at all.
“...sorry”
“Shouto...”
Todoroki apologises, the blatant look of sadness could be seen on his mother’s face.
“Uh....uh you two...”
Fuyumi who realised she was the one who had started all of this, becomes slightly flustered.
“That’s right!” She had thought of something, her face lights up.
“I’ll go! To the parents day!”
“Ha? What are you saying? Don’t you have the school?”
Fuyumi was also an elementary school teacher.
“It’s alright, if it’s for family occasions I can request for half days.. also, I’d be able to record videos for you! Great idea right?” Fuyumi suggested so brightly.
Todoroki was completely dumbfounded at the idea.
“This isn’t going to be like an elementary school sports day you know”
“Eh? I can’t? But recently at elementary school, there’s been loads of parents who record videos”
Todoroki tries to tell her that there was a difference between high school and elementary school.
“Eh.. So I can’t?”
Their mothers face began to brighten up, seeming really happy at Fuyumi’s suggestion.
“no...”
Todoroki becomes speechless, he absolutely did not want it to happen but he couldn’t say anything that’d make his mother sad.
“...I don’t know what the school would say”
That was the best excuse Todoroki could come up with, but then it was time for their mothers dinner, both Todoroki and Fuyumi had to end their visit. As they walked down the corridor, Fuyumi begins to speak.
“Your home room teacher... isn’t it Aizawa sensei?”
“...yeah”
“What’s wrong... you suddenly look tired, ah.. is it possible that dad’s going to be the one attending?”
“Don’t ever speak of him”
“Eh? But...”
“Don’t”
Watching her little brother tense up, Fuyumi couldn’t help but give off a sad expression, however she quickly reverts back to her smiley self.
“...yes yes”
As they were waiting for the elevator, Fuyumi notices the grimacing expression on her little brother’s face.
“Can we really not record videos? If you say it, I’ll stop”
Todoroki lifts up his head at the sound of his sisters voice.
“...no, it’s not like that”
“Then what is it?”
“...as I thought, from the beginning, you knew she couldn’t go, it would have been better if I hadn’t said anything, that’s what you’re thinking right?”
“That’s right”
Fuyumi smiles at her brother as she pats him on the head.
“What’s that for”
“Listen, there are parents who are not happy with what their child thinks of themselves, even though mum feels really bad for not being able to go, the fact that you made an effort to inform her, I’m sure that made her really happy. That’s why... doing this for mum... Shouto’s first parent day”
Realising the truth in Fuyumi’s words, the notice for parents day... this was for his mother... and also for him.
“...I’ll check with sensei”
“Did you say sensei”
Fuyumi gently pats the head of her little brother who was trying to hide his embarrassment, the elevator they had been waiting for had arrived, the door opens with an accompanying sound.
“Shouto? Hurry and get in before it closes”
Todoroki quickly enters at the sound of his sister calling him in, he really wanted his mother to watch him, even though being video recorded was embarrassing as it is, for her sake... he’d just have to bear with it.
THE END
(t/n I may update this with an excerpt of the parents day chapter)

Romeo and Juliet and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Return of the King pt. 3 (4th light novel, pg 96-107)
thank you so much to all the people who very gently cyber bullied me into writing this. i am very busy and very very scatter-brained so if i’m not reminded of things i forget them easily.
sorry again for the wait!! and thank you to @rachiebird for proof reading this!! you were a lot of helpppp
part 1 | part 2
For a moment, the audience gaped at the person who had just shouted at such a loud volume after making his first appearance on stage. Even the people in the wings gaped. Honenuki held a hand to his face in exasperation.
Although according to the staging he was supposed to have made a quiet, eerie first appearance, Tetsutetsu seemed to be letting loose all his frustration at being forced to speak quietly at once.
“Well, well, well! If it isn’t Gondor’s prince, Romeo!!”
“…You’re Count Paris?! Why in heaven’s… Give Juliet back!”
Monoma turned his back to the audience, looking furious as he whispered, “What’s with that performance?! You sound like an over-enthusiastic merchant! Control yourself!!”
Tetsutetsu made a face like, “ah, crap!” at his words, and then did his best to make a scary face.
“…I’ll be seeing you…”
This time, he was too self-conscious, and he ended up speaking in the same quiet voice as he used in the wings. The venue buzzed a bit with mutters of, “Huh? What did he say?” Everybody watching from the wings held their hands to their faces in exasperation. As Honenuki calmly signaled “now” to Juurouta, on standby in the catwalk over the stage, Tetsutetsu grabbed on a rope so that the audience wouldn’t be able to see. Still holding onto Kodai, he flew off.
In response to Tetsutetsu’s line, Monoma exclaimed, “You’ll be seeing me?! What do you mean…? Juliet!!”
Tetsutetsu returned with a dejected, “Sorry, guys…” and everyone responded with encouraging comments like, “Don’t worry about it!” and “Next! Next!” On stage, a scene was playing of Romeo, wanting to chase after Juliet, opposing Sam and Frodo, who said they must search for the king immediately.
“Is this what Master Obi-Wan was warning me about? But to think that Count Paris would kidnap Juliet… There’s no time for this, we must go save Juliet at once!”
“I understand how you feel, my prince! However, it is your duty as the prince to search for the king?!”
“I know that! But, before I’m a prince, I’m a man! There’s no way I could abandon the girl that I love!! Once I get Juliet back, I’ll definitely search for the king… I won’t ask you to understand. …Farewell! From here on, I go alone!”
Monoma exited stage right, Nirengeki and Awase crying out as he ran off.
“My prince!”
Immediately afterward, Nirengeki became aware of a sound coming from the wing on stage left. He thought it was strange, but he was still on stage and focused back on the performance.
“And so it was that Romeo followed after his love, Juliet, alone…”
While listening to Monoma’s narration, Nirengeki and Awase exited into the stage left wing. From here on, they wouldn’t make another appearance until the climax.
“They’re pretty much useless like this…”
The two had just finished letting out relieved sighs when they heard Honenuki’s flustered voice and their faces went wooden. “Did something happen?” Nirengeki asked as he approached them, where he saw Kuroiro with a wad of something in his hand. Silver fragments were scattered here and there in the middle of a shapeless, white mass.
“What’s that?”
In response to Awase’s inquiry, Kaibara explained, “The remains of what were once broken prop swords…”
An upcoming scene would feature Tokage-as-Rey and Rin the soldier. Apparently, the swords they were planning to use had been broken, so they’d attempted to reinforce them using Bondo’s quirk “Cementine,” whereupon he’d unfortunately sneezed and let out a huge amount of cementine along with it. Trying to help, Tetsutetsu had accidentally tripped over some of the cementine on the floor and, while activating his quirk, “Steel,” had crashed into the cementine-covered swords. The avant-garde art they’d produced was a result of everyone trying to kneed them back into something usable. If Bakugou, Kirishima, or Kaminari from Class A had been there, it would have probably reminded them of Meat-senpai’s, in other words Shiketsu High School’s Shishikura Seiji’s, quirk “Meatball.” No matter how you looked at it, there was no saving swords that had become this messed up. To make matters worse, they didn’t have any spares.
“What do we do? Maybe we can do it without swords…” Tokage said hurriedly.
Calmly, Honenuki responded, “No, there’s going to be a sword fight, too. All we can do is substitute them for something that can pass as a sword.”
“Got it, I’ll go look for something,” said Kaibara, and he and Kuroiro rushed outside.
Incidentally, there was a substitute for the swords strapped to Nirengeki’s hip, but in all the chaos not a single person realized it. There was no helping that they’d be a little freaked out at their first performance.
“Juliet… Where are you, Juliet…?!”
Tokage would be appearing in the scene before long. But she wasn’t coming out. Feeling something was wrong, Monoma looked over to the wings to see Honenuki gesturing to him, “Buy us some time!”
Something must have happened… Well, it’s not as if I can’t easily buy time.
Thinking this, Monoma began to adlib.
“Juliet… Just by saying this name, I feel my power overflowing. I haven’t eaten anything in three days, but with one word even my stomach can be filled… Love is a food—is life itself, it would seem. I don’t need anything else in life. Not even Gondor’s world-famous taro with yolk jelly, or a banana-wrapped river banana, or divine beef with goblin sauce, or boiled kamaitachi, or naked giant tortoise with naked turtle oyakodon, or captive jaguar katsudon, or mirin-dried long-eared giraffe, or deep-fried shaggy lion tail, or proud-kneed baby elephant shadow cookies, or black-stomached bat ink pasta, or short-reigned sluggish giant hare soup. As I am now, as long as I have love…”
Is it just about time?
However, Honenuki gave him an apologetic look as he gestured, “a little bit more.” Without so much as a hint to the fact that he was stalling for time, Monoma continued his adlibbing.
“That’s right, Juliet’s hometown, the country of Rohan, was famous for their seafood, wasn’t it? Certainly, they’re able to get all kinds of seafood thanks to their vast subterranean lakes, or such… Lockbox crab innards, for instance… I’ve heard that one taste and you’re unable to stop laughing. Fufu, just thinking about it is making me laugh. I suppose Juliet must have eaten it before, too? I would love to eat it and laugh together with her one day…  Oh, yes, and you can’t talk about the country of Rohan without mentioning realtuna. If you make a sandwich with white rice between two fillets of the tuna, then spend three days quietly eating it where no one can see you, apparently your lifespan increases by three years. If that’s true, I would like if I could give some to my father…”
…Hm? Finally… Really, what happened back there?
Monoma, noticing Honenuki’s “we’re good now” gesture, went over the setup in his head.
After this, Tokage and Rin will make their appearance as survivors of the Galactic Liberation Allied Forces…
Monoma looked up, shocked, and he shouted, “Wha-what’s that?!”
With a metallic sliding noise, a UFO crash landed. As Monoma timidly approached it, the set doors to the UFO blew open, and Tokage and Rin came flying out.
“Are you okay, Rey?!” asked Rin, dressed as a soldier.
Tokage-as-Rey answered, “Yeah…” Then, noticing Monoma, she startled. “You… A minion of the Imperial Army! For how long do you intend to get in our way…!”
“You dog of the Empire!”
“Wait a second, what is this all about…?”
As he gave his panicked response, Monoma prepared himself for his next moves. They would engage in a battle with their swords. It was an important fight that was meant to show the growth of the prince, who had before fought and lost over the dried meat. They’d practiced the fierce exchange of swords over and over again countless times, and thanks to that they’d managed to make it look really good.
“Silence! Glory to Democracy!”
First, Tokage comes at me, and then Rin immediately after, and then after I narrowly avoid that… Huh?
Setsuna and Rin made ghastly, frightening figures as they approached, and Monoma’s eyes turned to dots as they drew what they had strapped to their backs.
Forgetting for a second that he was still on stage, Monoma shot out, “Why bats?!”
Tokage and Rin held them as if they were swords, but there was no changing the fact that they were a pair of metal bats. The audience in the front began to take notice, too, and the sound of them muttering, “Hey, is that a bat?” snapped Monoma back into himself.
From the wings, Honenuki made an apologetic face as he gestured, “Continue!” The thing that Kuroiro and the rest brought back after their search was pair of bats, which had been borrowed from a different class that was putting on a batting center.
“The sword broke and this is all we had!”
“We just have to fool them.”
In response to Tokage and Rin’s frantic whispers, Monoma accepted his fate with a, “I guess there’s no choice…!” and drew his own sword. As they crossed sword and bat, the metal clanged together, and Monoma occasionally made a show of falling to the ground.
“That sword is massive, unlike any I’ve ever seen…! So these are the swords they use in space!”
By the brute force of Monoma’s acting ability, what would have looked like a delinquent couple attacking with bats was transformed into a scene in which members of the Galactic Liberation Allied Forces fought with space-swords that happened to look like bats. In response to the crisis on the stage, Fukidashi on sound increased the volume, and Kamakiri on lighting changed to a narrower light to help draw the audience’s eyes.
“It looks like we’ve managed to fool them…”
At Honenuki’s words, all of the people watching nervously from the wings seemed to grow listless with relief.
“Leave it to Monoma…”
“Monoma… I offer a banquet of blessings for your sheer guts…”
While he was still onstage, Kaibara and Kuroiro sent Monoma words of gratitude that they would surely never say to his face. It seemed that the fight was going to reach its climax as the battle bean to exude desperation.
“Kuroiro, do you happen to know where the ring I put here might be?”
“Huh? I left that ring over there.”
As he answered Shiozaki’s question, Kuroiro hurried over to the table where the props were set out. Apparently unable to find it, Kuroiro muttered, “It should be right here…” as he searched the area.
“What happened?” Honenuki and some others asked as they approached.
“I put the ring we’re going to be using next down on this prop table, but…”
By that, he meant the ring that they would be using after this, when Shiozaki made her appearance as the spirit of the ring. They’d upgraded it a bit, making it so that it was a bit bigger and stood out better compared to the one that Monoma had.
Shiozaki and company’s turn was coming up. Everyone searched the area, but there was no hint of it.
Incidentally, the ring in question had fallen in the commotion over the swords before, and had managed to roll its way into the space below the stage, in the underground closet usually used to store the chairs. Unfortunately, they would only discover the ring there later, when they were cleaning up the stage after the performance ended.
“Ah… Why must god give us such trials…” Shiozaki clasped her hands together, looking to be at her wit’s end. Pony and Juurouta also made worried expressions.
“Again?! What do we do?”
In the chaos, Kaibara looked to Honenuki. Honenuki thought for a moment, and then opened his mouth.
“If we can’t find it, we’ll have to find a replacement again. That, or make one…”
However, it seemed there wouldn’t be time to go out and search this time.
“Does anyone here have something round with a hole in the middle that looks like a ring?!”
Kaibara circled the area as he looked around. As the others also searched around, too, Tetsutetsu suddenly held out something in his hand.
“Can we use this as a replacement…?!”
What he held was a long, tube-like thing with a soft, uneven exterior. It appeared to be a fish cake made by turning fish into paste, wrapping it around a cane, and then cooking it. Chikuwa. Tetsutetsu had brought it along as a snack for when he started to feel hungry.
“…we can work with this.” Saying this, Kuroiro used the box cutter he’d been holding to cut off a slice. He showed it to everyone. “See?”
“It looks like a ring!” they agreed.
“I’ve got some gold eye shadow.” Komori offered him some eye shadow, which Kuroiro took from her.
“Th… Thanks,” he said, then quickly painted it on, turning it into what looked to be a peculiar ring.
“Alright, this should be good!”
Kaibara beamed and gave Shiozaki a thumbs-up. As Kuroiro handed her the ring, Shiozaki made an anguished face as if she’d been crucified. “…with this I’m going to be the spirit of the chikuwa…”
As she began to pale, trying to figure out how on earth fish paste might feel, Pony and Juurouda tried to help.
“Since you’re getting made into paste it’s gonna be really ouchy?”
“No, from the moment it became chikuwa, surely it would have already been called up to heaven.”
To the flabbergasted Shiozaki, Honenuki calmly said, “It’s not chikuwa. Because this is a ring. This is a ring that looks like chikuwa.”
On the stage, the sword fight had ended, and Monoma-as-Romeo had completely resolved the misunderstanding with Rey and the soldier of the Galactic Liberation Allied Forces, played by Tokage and Rin.
“If it’s you two, you’ll definitely be able to liberate the galaxy! I’m sure that my own country of Gondor will eventually advance into space, too. Rey, when that day comes, I’d like if you could help us out with things.”
“Sure, Romeo. Let’s build a peaceful galaxy together!”
“Rey, we must be on our way.”
“…don’t die. Live so that we may meet again someday.”
“I promise. When that time comes, I’ll be sure to treat you to Gondor’s specialty, northern tanuki treasure pouch hotpot!”
Rin called her from within the UFO, and Tokage stopped and turned back to him right as she was about to return to it.
“Hahaha, I look forward to it. Also to meeting your Juliet, too… Speaking of which, when we were falling, we happened to see something mysterious.”
“What?”
“A ways north of here, there was an eerie castle. It looked as if an eerie man and a girl were having a dispute over something…”
“Could it be? Perhaps that suspicious man and the girl were Count Paris and Juliet…”
“Rey! Quickly!”
“Well then, Romeo. May the force be with you.”
Having said that, the UFO raised up to the ceiling, where it disappeared. Monoma slowly walked to the middle of the stage as he began to talk.
“North… Juliet might be over there. But who on earth is this Count Paris, anyway? He said that Juliet was his possession… Could it be that Juliet had been trying to escape from that man? If so, it’s possible that he’s Juliet’s fiancé… No, Juliet promised to marry me! Her heart is with me. However, it would not be strange for a country to marry their princess off to another country in order to strengthen the bonds with them. Which would mean that that man would be the king of some country, and Juliet’s fiancé? …Ahh, if that’s truly the case, then what am I to do…!”
Anguishing over his love, Monoma-as-Romeo’s suffering soon became more than his body could take. As he fell to the ground, a ray of light shined straight down from the ceiling.
“Romeo… Romeo…”
Monoma looked around in shock at the sound of Shiozaki’s echoing voice.
“Who’s there?!”
“Romeo… I am inside your pocket…”

I love how Bakugo was the first one Uraraka thought of, and immediately at that.
