Blogging Mom now!

So weird, when I started this blog I was young, single (not married), and childless. Now I’m old(er)--32, married, with one child and one on the way (still in early 1st trimester)...

My aspirations/dreams have changed from when I was younger to now. When I was younger, I always dreamed of being famous/being a singer, and then during my college years, my realization of wanting to be a teacher came into fruition. Now, my number one priority is my family and my child(children/future kids!)...

I used to worry about what people think of me and what I looked like (to a certain degree, I still do, I don’t wanna look like a total mess but will look like, but I will be lookin’ like a mess anyways!)

Things that interest me are:

- how to keep my marriage/relationship with Richard still interesting and that we’re still caring and support each other...somedays we can have an argument that will just frustrate me and wonder if this is how marriage will just look like after kids. To have a strong, committed, loving, kind, and supportive relationship is what I strive for. Marriage to is hard cuz you share literally everything about yourself (physical, spirit, financial woes/strength, and emotional wellbeing) and you have to be willing to be vulnerable and honest in everything! Some days it’s hard to be loving, but my goal is always to strive to love Richard to the fullest and put God first in our relationship.

- how to entertain Claire, help her learn, socially aware/capable, and be a kind/respectful kid. It’s a balance and honestly terrible twos have been happening since she was 18 months. I am learning to be more patient with her--and with myself as I am a First-Time Mom (FTM) and trying to be more gracious I make mistakes along the way. Trying to be the best mom I can be to her (and our future children)...is hard and there are days when I yell at her and discipline her and I feel bad. But at the same time, I don’t want her to become an entitled kid who never gets disciplined or yelled at. We’re still working on potty training...and as for preschool--I think we decided she will not be going to preschool...and she might be homeschooled in the future! A lot of people I know might be like--what? You’re a teacher! How could you deny her of public education?! But I have seen the fruits of a homeschool kid and they are just sociable and educated, if not even more! And they are kind, respectful, and adventurous. My ex-next door neighbor kids were all homeschooled and they read chapter books in 1st grade, loves Jesus, and are friendly to all their neighbors (of all ages, races, gender, etc.) Sure, they weren’t perfect! No kids are perfect. But I like the freedom of choosing the curriculum and also the freedom of vacationing on our schedule and not on the school’s schedule. This won’t be for another 3 years or so (Kindergarten), but for now, she’s learning her colors and shapes, and she knows her alphabet song (doesn’t know letters yet!)...She knows and sings a lot of nursery rhymes right now (due to Youtube, not going to lie, which she gets to watch when we eat meals sometimes/often)!

- have time for friends...mostly have mommy friends right now, but I try to keep in touch with my friends in SFL, pre-Claire, etc...and it’s hard because I feel like no one understands that nap times are sacred, and so are bed times... :( Also, I didn’t drink many times or a lot because of nursing (which I feel like I was ostracized for because I nursed Claire until she was 2 years old).

- relationship with God/Jesus...I feel like I’ve been putting God in the back burner because I’m so tired from work, taking care of Claire (and Luna), and doing housework (which I don’t even do all--Richard does a majority of it...I just wash dishes and do laundry--which I am starting to hate!)...I’m feeling burnt out. I miss worshipping and miss fellowshipping with my sisters and brothers in Christ, to be honest. I desire the feeling of community as we did pre-Claire (sad to state it like that)...It’s hard with her bed time schedule (dinner at 7/bath time at 7:30/8, bedtime at 8:30pm)...So no time for CLS or households. I try to sing worship songs in the car whenever I drive to work (30 mins to Vista and back on Mondays & Fridays, and 35 mins to Temecula and back on Thursdays). I’m praying I can really get back to service/and or fellowshipping again.

- work like I said is not my #1 priority as it was pre-Claire! When you have a child, everything changes! FYI, if you didn’t know. It sucks sometimes to know she’s having a hard day and crying with her babysitter (Richard’s aunt) for hours, and you’re stuck at work. It sucks to know you’re missing her learning moments. I am currently working 3 days a week. As much as I like my co-workers, and I do love teaching students, I would prefer 100% to be with Claire instead, if I had the option. I know not everyone wants to stay at home. I’m not even a GOOD stay-at-home mom by any standards--I’m not a home maker and not a good cook, and don’t clean well. But when it comes to Claire, I want to be there for her through her childhood years. So if that means working part-time til she’s in high school, so be it. It’s hard to lesson plan, when you’d rather spend quality time with your toddler.

Enough of my ramblings. I am hoping to write here more often to just share my thoughts and feelings!

Today was a beautiful day, which Miss Determination and Mr. Fearless loved. We spend some time at the playground with their cousin and rode bicycles. Miss Determination has made a ton of bike process, consider that last year she wanted nothing to do with her bike. Now she is doing great and has even mastered steering. Mr. Determination got his @striderbikes balance bike for his 2nd birthday and he has loved it from the beginning. Getting a good picture of him riding his bike is next to impossible because he is a little speed demon. All about Blogging: How to create a successful blog

As a beginner, you may have some doubts before starting a blog.

I have tried to cover most of the questions that arise for you as a beginner for starting a blog.

In the first half of the blog let me clear your doubts.

In the second half let me tell you the steps to start a blog.

Okay, Let’s start.

#1 What is blogging?

Blogging in simple words means expressing your thoughts or ideas with the readers through your blog posts.

A person who does blogging is called a blogger.

If you are reading this post, you must be a blogger or a beginner, who is willing to start a blog

#2 Role of a blogger in blogging?

Generally, you are considered as a freelance writer who maintains an online journal, also known as a blog.

The next main question that arises in you is:

#3 Is blogging easy?

Blogging is an easier task. Thousands of new blogs are created every day.

When the content is ready you can create a blog in less than 10 mins using WordPress.

WordPress is nothing but a content management system solution, where you can use the drag and drop method to create your blog.

Hard work?

A little amount of hard work is necessary for all professions. So hard work is a mandatory one.

Working hard is nothing but creating content frequently and posting it in regular intervals.

Here consistency Plays a Major role.

#4 Is blogging a career and worth it?

A single-word answer is yes.

Blogging is an effective medium for creating content and building an online business.

Blogging is not just a career, it’s a rewarding career.

#5 How blogging a rewarding one?

You’re just going to express yourself. Share your knowledge.

You are providing your audience or readers a review, a guide, or a solution that might be very helpful to them.

So,Every single comment thanking you for the content is a reward.

#6 Technical Requirements for blogging?

A computer or laptop with a good internet connection.

A browser such as Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox, etc., is more than enough.

#7 Other Requirements For Blogging?

Good Researching Skill.

Basic knowledge of your niche.

Niche is nothing but a category or topic that you are choosing to start your blog.

#8 How do I get paid for blogging?

Top bloggers i.e. 3% of bloggers work 60+ hours per week.

35 % work more than 20 hours per week.

When you put in all your effort and time, then you can start earning from the first month.

But to be more practical and honest as a beginner creating a blog and generating traffic takes some time.

In around 6 to 10 months, you will make your first earning.

It may look like a huge period, but from there you will see your growth day by day.

So the first thing you should have here is patience.

#11 How much can I make from blogging as a beginner?

As a beginner, you can earn $500 – $1500 per month.

After generating a decent amount of traffic you can double it up or even more.

You can simply earn $20 – $50 per day from google ads. That makes a minimum of $600 per month.

#12 Why do some bloggers fail?

The career and future of blogging are wonderful and huge.

But most bloggers fail and quit blogging without understanding the fact.

The main thing here is hard work and Patience. It is not like a get-rich-quick scheme.

Try and try until you succeed because this can even change your future.

This is not just writing or creating content. This can be your full-time job.

You can also charge people for your content, around $2 – $4 per word.

Money can be made in many ways but the question here is:

#13 Are Bloggers happy?

Blogging is one of the happiest careers in the USA.

I will never say quit your job and start blogging and earn from day 1.

I used to finish my 9-5 job and spend 2 – 3 hours blogging.

Making 10 to 12 posts per month is not that difficult.

Once you are okay with the revenue from blogging, then think further.

If your blog has various niches, then your blog name can be a common name.

If a specific niche then choose a name that suits your niche.
