He had intended to go slow, take his time, appreciate Wyll the way the man deserved. To show him in kiss and touch exactly what he meant to Gale. The circumstances were less than ideal but that didn't mean he couldn't do his best to give Wyll all that should be his by right.

But when Wyll pulled his shirt over his head and his hands slid across Gale's naked chest, his fingers dragging through the hair, pulling at it ever so slightly, deliciously, something inside Gale snapped. A want so strong it was almost a need flared in his blood and he pulled Wyll in close, their naked chests touching. He couldn't recall the last time someone had touched him like this and the feeling of warm skin against his own was a delicious torment. Wyll's fingers tracing his spine a brand of pleasure that made him cry out, the sound muffled against Wyll's skin as Gale tasted its musk and salt.

His fumbling ardor and eager passion was met with delighted laughter and an equal heat in turn. It shattered what little remained of his self-restraint and all turned to eager heat and hungry kisses and clutching hands, the slide of touch starved skin against touch starved skin. It ended all too soon.

"I'm sorry," Gale said, lying on his back, his chest still heaving, a sense of mild embarrassment creeping in.

"Likewise. But there's something quite flattering in being wanted so primally." Wyll cupped Gale's face. "We can do it the "right way" next time."

Gale tugged Wyll down and kissed him, gently and sweetly, lips lingering on lips.

My two favourite ships for Gale are Wyll and Astarion.

I love Bloodweave because they are plot foils. Dynamic wise, they are enemies -> friends/ lovers, or opposites attract. It is the enemies -> lovers ship for Gale, and I like exploring their dynamic. Yes, it is popular, but this doesn't negate the ship.

I love Bladeweave because I think Wyll and Gale's personalities and love languages pair well together. Their dynamic, to me, is friends -> lovers, or hurt/comfort. I think Wyll would be the perfect match for Gale, and I wish their ship was more popular.

I just wanted to express my love for both ships in one post. Because, I do love all three of them.

I also ship Gale with Lae'zel and Shadowheart. I know I mainly post Bloodweave related content but I am trying to do better and reblog other ship content and character content. Especially Bladeweave.

(I hope you don't mind me tagging this as Bladeweave despite the Bloodweave mention)
