This was supposed to be a fully rendered art, but when I trusted it most it took me out back and had me turn towards the horizon and then shot me thrice in the head like an old western movie betrayal.

So it gets to stay a sketch until I’m no longer spited.

I might have had a few shots - Yuu96

“Yuma?”

At first, Black Mist thinks that the human might be sick. His movement is slow and sluggish, disorientated as he stumbles towards the ladder that leads into his room. However, Black Mist is quick to notice the stench of alcohol that seems to linger around the teenager.

“Are you drunk?” They ask, a smile on their face. This wasn't the first time he had seen the effects of alcohol on a human - when they had their brief stint in running a gang it was often common for the other gang members to drink.

“I'm not drunk.” Exclaimed Yuma, in a voice that was a little bit too loud for their tastes. “I just y'know - went drinking. With some friends.”

The human seems to be more focused on the ladder for the moment, trying to climb it but failing to no avail. He kept on trying to put his foot down but missing entirely.

“You know, if you weren't drunk you could probably climb up that ladder.” Teases Black Mist. “But I'm guessing that your just failing on purpose for no good reason.”

“S-shut up!” Yuma turns around towards the alien, glaring at him. “It's your own fault! You keep on talking to me and you're annoying.”

Statements they were far used to by now, admittedly. Enough so that they could easily dismiss them. They float infront of Yuma - blocking his path.

“How much did you drink?”

There is a pause, Yuma thinking.

“It might have been a couple of shots.” He tried to step past Black Mist, but they were faster. “Hey, let me - let me go to bed!”

While it was fun to see him struggle, Black Mist knew that trying to climb up anything in this state was a bad idea. Besides Astral would probably find some way to kill them if anything happened to his precious Yuma while they were away.

“Sweetie, you already have a bed down here.” As if to prove their point, they pointed towards it. “So why don't you stop your little adventure and sleep down here tonight? I'll even keep you company.”

“What? No!” Slurred Yuma as he tried to get back into the room upstairs, however once again Black Mist was too fast. “Why do you keep on bothering me? Why can't Astral be the one that stays and you just go off and do your own thing? They'd let me go into my room!”

It was evident how much Yuma missed their counterpart, a factor that still managed to bother Black Mist and was always getting tiresome now. Truthfully they weren't even sure themself why they stuck around - other then they somewhat enjoyed his company.

“They wouldn't Yuma and would probably do what I'm doing right now.” Before Yuma could exactly try again, they took hold of his shoulders and lead him towards the bed. He tried to protest by stopping, but in his drunken state it did very little to help him.

“You'll thank me in the morning when you wake up in one piece.” They practically pushed Yuma into bed, putting the duvet over him before he could complain any further. “So why don't you just go to bed now and I can deal with you in the morning?”

Zexal Month Week 4 Day 1

Ships, ships, ships, and vehicle appreciation

I only have one OTP so far and it's :

Dilateshipping aka Mentorshipping

... who had gone through many stages of classic angst romance. From first cute meet, tragic separation, bitter reunion, and then reconciliation and happily ever after ending. Yeay.

While pairs that I like and find interesting :

1. Keyshipping (Astral x Yuma)

It's canon and no one can convince me otherwise.

2. Tomoshipping (Shark x Durbe)

Of course I can't forget this compromising position.

Indeed Shark's knight who always come to rescue, right?

4. Decisionshipping (Mizael x Durbe)

They are literally the sanest Barians before Nasch and Merag come back. And how they hold each other back whenever Vector doing something that get on their nerves.

5. Blackmistshipping (Black Mist x Astral)

I will never get over the "possess your body" part.

6. Sharkbaitshipping (Shark x Yuma)

Their whole dynamic from the start to the end of the series is *chef kiss*.

7. Dokidokishipping aka Photonshipping (Kaito x Yuma)

Seriously, we need more of this ship.

8. Seraphshipping (Alito x Yuma)

The "imagining Yuma as angel" part and "meeting you was hot" is truly iconic.
