1433 19Jan24: Chapter 19.

Happy Place

I took a short drive and parked my car. Location, Cabog-Cabog View Deck. Even some of the views driving up the narrow road was to me breath taking.

Once there I did the touristy thing and went up to the top of the cemet structure to really take it all in!

This picture does absolutely no justice for how it really was. On the right side of the photo is the mountains to the south which are peaking up into the clouds, behind the pole is the cross of Mt. Samat which is to the east and then the left hand side of the photo is looming north.

My creative mind went into overdrive. I Facebook video called my film buddy to show him the view. Obviously I called him because my mind was in creative mode and I was thinking beautiful place to shoot a short story film.

This lead me to wanting to take a walk around this place.

First was down this little hill and around a corner to reveal an awesome view south which getting close revealed the rice terrace fields. Then a little walk east lead me to:

An obviously planted section of coconut trees which again was just so beautiful to me.

Onward with my travels down the path to the top of the little mound in the middle of the trail photo got me the view of another set of rice fields right underneath Mt. Samat.

One final view looking west, behind those trees you would be able to see the South China Sea. So it was back to my car for the drive back home. Refreshed and wanting to go back with my #blackmagicpocketcinemacamera4k to enjoy capturing some additional clips... and heck maybe I'll even take my 18th century clothing to capture somereal concept shots and film clips?!?!?!

1332 12Nov22: Progress check in.

47 second photoshoot.

Set up my #blackmagicpocketcinemacamera4k on the tripod and hit record. Then I walked out and gave a few quick poses. In #DavinciResolve I took these few screen grabs and export them to #lightroom .

Still have some work to do on the overcoat, seen I need to make some alterations to the breeches and then need to buy some stockings and shoes.

I’m happy today I have completed the Blackmagic Design Davinci Resolve 15 Certified Training. With experience of using the software since 2013 with purchasing their first Pocket Cinema Camera, and experience from college from using other previous editing software packages before, I’ve seen Davinci go from implementing and finalizing the editing structure, then adding fusion and fairlight into the software. I’ve always wanted to be able to teach others the features of Davinci Resolve appropriately and how it’s a excelling Post Production Software. Thanks to the Instructor Dion at Blackmagic Design for help roughing out the ends I didn’t know about the software especially with the fairlight page that I myself was new to since it’s introduction last year at NAB.
