Take care of the family God has given you.
Part of me waited to feel like I had a "family" because it wouldn't feel official until my husband and I had a child of our own. I'm learning to feel blessed with the family God has given me in this season of my life, and take care of them how I would take care of my familial ideal.
My husband and I recently moved into a new home, and my sister in law and her husband are renting the spare room from us. Since we've all moved in together I've learned how much I enjoy taking care of everyone, from cooking, to cleaning, to encouraging their ambitions. I never expected this to be the case, but God has truly opened my eyes to how a Christian woman can be a homemaker even when she has no children.
This might look different for you. Perhaps you an adult daughter still living with her parents and siblings. Take care of them. Perhaps you are a college student with roommates. Take care of them. Perhaps you live alone in an apartment complex, but have many elderly neighbors on your floor. Invite them to dinner, and take care of them.
God is faithful to lead us to a community, but sometimes we get distracted by the fact that it isn't the ideal we see for ourselves, and overlook our ability to serve and love them nonetheless. I've been thinking a lot about how I would feel if I found out we would never be able to have kids — and whether I could be happy homemaking for a family that didn't consist of my children.
I think I could, but this realization has come only through God opening my eyes to the fact that we are all His children, brothers and sisters in Christ — family by default, and all responsible to serve one another.

A relationship that’s 50/50:
He works, pays all the bills, protects & loves me… while I cook, clean, tend to & love him.

simon riley being in love but he actually just doesn’t know it.
he finds himself restocking your favorite tea, watching from afar as your eyes sparkle in the morning. he saves your favorite spot on the common room couch, equidistant from the kitchen and the tv, fending off recruits with a hard glare. during movie nights his arm is already around the back of the couch when you sit down, so it’s only natural you rest your head on it. a little ritual between the two of you, masked in the darkness of the room, his fingers playing with the ends of your hair as he tries not to drown on your scent. when soap makes a comment about simon having a work wife, simon can’t stop imagining you with a veil in your hair and vows on your lips. his eyes start to zero in on your empty ring finger, trying to imagine your reaction if you both just skipped the dating and he got down on one knee in the morning. you’re it for him and he’s just playing the long game, trying not to crumble when you mention drunk make outs you’ve had at the bar or lamenting your never ending quest for love to the task force. his accidental grips on your waist get more frequent, his hard stares turning impossibly softer when he sees you at morning training, that determined look always clear on your face. he starts coming to your room, stopping by just to tell a joke or see your smile. he tells you to call him simon in private, and thinks that a meteor could strike this earth and he wouldn’t care as long as he got to see you grin. you don’t know when it changes, when you start craving the shoulder brushes and knee touches, but the one night you lay your head on his shoulder a couple minutes into the credits, he knows he’s got a chance.
JUST ONE CHANCE PLEASSEEEEE

Life isn't about planning ahead in an effort to avoid God's tests — but planning ahead to brave them with faithfulness and diligence.
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
— James 1:12
I pray that anyone facing trials at this time will turn to prayer and find peace and strength in our good Lord above.

I do what I do:
My submission
Serving my husband & my home
As an act of worship to the Lord. He has called me to be a wife, a mother, & a stay @ home. My submission to God’s call to me is an act of worship. I wash the dishes in praise of Him, I fold laundry in praise of Him, I cook from scratch for a healthy family in praise of Him. All that I do daily should be from the heart in praise & worship to God as I have received a beautiful calling from Him! My submission to God is what blesses me and my family. It is what grows fruit in my life. Without submitting to God I have no peace or joy. I am unable to care for my family or submit to my husband. My home falls apart & the enemy attacks. I do what I do because it pleases Him.

Marriage has not, and never has been, merely a socioeconomic arrangement. It has never been a pairing of convenience, a temporary alliance meant to cease once husband and wife tire of each other or desire someone else. It has never been a "feel-good" partnership that crumbles as soon as adversity is encountered.
Marriage is, has always been, and always will be the one-flesh union of one man with one woman, a union ordered toward the fruits of mutual support, mutual comfort, and (above all) procreation.  It is meant to endure hardship, and through that endurance become even stronger & more devoted.  It is one that is not rooted in sociology, but in biology, and predates any conscious human notion of culture or society or civilization.
Scripture makes it clear that Christ takes his Church as his only bride, loving Her so tremendously that he would offer his mortal life on the Cross for Her Eternal Life in his Kingdom.  St. Paul reminds us that the husband is head of the family, just as Christ is head of the Church, who is the Mystical Body of Christ.  Even in the mystical marriage between Church, we see this union - Christ as the head united with the Church as the body.
We must take a stand for Biblical marriage in these confusing times of ours.  Because there are many today who say that marriage can be dissolved for any reason or for no reason at all, who say that marriage is possible between more than two individuals, who say that marriage is possible between people of the same sex, that marriage is possible for a husband and wife who are completely opposed to procreation, and even that marriage is an obsolete and unnecessary institution.
We have two options: to roll over and let the Father of Lies triumph over this Holy Sacrament, or to defend the Truth that the LORD has revealed through Scripture and through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  The Truth is worth defending, Marriage is worth defending, and I pray that God always grants me the courage and strength to do so.  I hope he does the same for you, and I hope that you will join me in fighting to preserve Biblical Marriage.

Hi I know I been lacking art for a while but that’s cause it’s my last few weeks of school and it has been fucking me in the ASS. And Not the good kind of way, more like in the way that involves a buzz saw and a plank of splintery rotting wood.
Anyway, over my fall break I’ll finally have time for Bs lmfao. For now have a dark Noir :3 inspired by this cool ass song I been listening to lately lmfao
If there’s one thing I love more than babygirlifying my wife- it’s DARK AND SCARY NOIR RAAAAAA GIVE ME MORE DARK PETE CONTENT HES SO COOL WHEN HES ALL SCARY. And for those of you who are new- I have a personal HC that Spider-Man Noir has claws and non-venomous fangs because it’s fucking COOL and I SAID SO.

i've had to indulge in christian scripture a lot for the past few months because personal life stuff and i need everyone to know that there's a book in the bible where king solomon goes on and on about how horny he is for his wife and it's SO SENSUAL and i didn't expect it at all (it's really beautifully written if anything but also sex funny. i put verses down below that invoked said feelings because its so wow)
"Your two breasts are like two fawns,     twins of a gazelle,     that graze among the lilies."
- 4:5
"...How much better is your love than wine,     and the fragrance of your oils than any spice! Your lips drip nectar, my bride;     honey and milk are under your tongue;"
- 4:10-11
"How beautiful are your feet in sandals,     O noble daughter! Your rounded thighs are like jewels,     the work of a master hand. Your navel is a rounded bowl     that never lacks mixed wine. Your belly is a heap of wheat,     encircled with lilies.  Your two breasts are like two fawns,     twins of a gazelle.  Your neck is like an ivory tower. Your eyes are pools in Heshbon,     by the gate of Bath-rabbim. Your nose is like a tower of Lebanon,     which looks toward Damascus. Your head crowns you like Carmel,     and your flowing locks are like purple;     a king is held captive in the tresses."
- 7:1-5
"Your stature is like a palm tree,     and your breasts are like its clusters.  I say I will climb the palm tree     and lay hold of its fruit. Oh may your breasts be like clusters of the vine,     and the scent of your breath like apples, and your mouth like the best wine.
She
It goes down smoothly for my beloved,     gliding over lips and teeth.
I am my beloved's,     and his desire is for me."
- 7:7-10
In verse 8 of chapter 5 his wife says "I am sick with love." and that makes me feel really AHHHHHH oh my god?? it's so intimate
